There had been quite the story behind that book of Marx and even the crystals themselves were somewhat special. Kel had taken a look to them as he mentioned them being representative of the seven guardians like, which had confused him slightly. "How exactly do these crystals represent them?" They all looked the same to him which made seeing the representation even harder to spot.

With both of the eels thoroughly dealt with, Steel turned his attention to Ursula along with the rest of his comrades. There wasn't really much to be said, that hadn't already been said to her, why should he bother talking to her? It was bad enough they had to give her the time of day. So he sort of just jabbed his keyblade at her while he thought of more important things. Sure, fighting in water was a bit different than what he was used to, but they had all gotten used to it pretty quickly.

Maybe it was a bad sign that he was starting to push forward without much thought, but he wasn't sure how much he cared at the moment. If they did this right, they could be done with the witch, save the princess and move on. The worlds were in danger and didn't have to time for them to constantly be facing whatever decided it wanted to get in their every time they landed. Well, maybe they did since whatever No Heart was planning seemed to involve them, but the more disturbances they had to distract them, the less time they had to think things through and figure them out.

When Kel said something about the crystals representing the seven guardians light he was also confused. "From my understanding there are seven guardians of light who I believe are in the SOS group. This does not make a whole let of sense there is more then seven people in the group. I have not really thought about it all that much but I remember someone saying something about the seven light being in the SOS group. The only thing I can think of is that there are only seven lights in the group and it does not effect everyone." From what he understood this made the most since but there could very well be more then seven light he just was not sure how that would work.

As Faust impacted on the rough stone floor at the base of the hole that they went down. He could definitely feel that it would bruise form the low dull ache the radiated form his spine. Still he did not let his smile falter looking up at Ignis from his prone position on his back laughing as she started to poke at him.

"You know maybe it's just because it's that I keep falling for you" Fuast replied back snickering at his own pun "Besides I've never been one for book learning i prefer going out and seeing things and places for myself ya know."

Given a couple questions, Marx did a two in one in terms of the crystals. “These represent the Seven Guardians because these used to belong with the Foretellers. If you don’t know already, they were Keyblade Masters and students to the Master of Masters. Each of the five; Ira, Invi, Aced, Gula and Ava, were given a union for new Keyblade wielders to join. But then a traitor was among them and eventually everything fell apart... and thus the First Keyblade War was born. No one was victorious on that day. The five masters had special Keyblades that represented elements, but they also carried unique crystals to enhance them; giving more power or learning new abilities. But your probably wondering, ‘What about the other two’? The Master had one as well, plus another student named Luxu, who had a different task given to from his mentor when given his crystal. Now... how I got these crystals were from my mentors; The Overseers. Similar to the Foretellers with the masks and whatnot, but they were charged with protecting the crystals when they passed away. One of them was lost, so they only gave me six. In short, they each represent the Master and his students. I made it my job to find that last one. And I believe that one is the crystal that Kaida has.” The boy finished with putting his book away and standing up, he then stretched a bit while waiting. “The Seven Guardians are definitely among us. Even though I haven’t met the others apparently, only seven of us will be the chosen few to be the Guardians to stop the Thirteen Seekers of Darkness. It is a prophecy that must be fulfilled, whatever the cost.” He said to AJ, Kaida, Kel and Stratos. He was told of this once he started his journey, making it known to find the Seven Guardians. Being one of the newest amongst the group, he doubt himself would be a Guardian.

After the fight, Kaida hadn't exactly processed much. While she was grateful the fight went as well as it had, and she was proud of herself considering how much she could see herself contributing to the fight, she had other things on her mind. The blonde had her eyes closed for the most part as she was trying to piece moments together falling apart. Trying to focus on something that felt like a bigger problem than her mind was letting her believe. And it was stressing her out.

Spoiler: Flashback

Kaida was running down the hallway of the wing of the building, knocking into a bunch of students along the way and not stopping to apologize or anything like that. She looked distressed and even as a couple tried to ask her what was wrong, she still kept going. The blonde ran up the stairs rather than going up the elevator so she could move faster, and when she got to the floor she needed she booked it down the hallway and as her yes laid on the room she needed, she burst through without a moment’s hesitation, heavily breathing.

There were only two in the room, one was a smaller boy with blue hair who was asleep, and another was a larger man whose face was hidden behind a mask. Kaida moved in fast and walked over to the bed, she placed her hands immediately on a chair that had been set for her to sit down, but she couldn't sit down, "Aux, what happened?"

Aux sat on a chair, hunched over with his elbows on his knees, facing the blue haired boy’s direction and not looking towards Kaida at all, “I don’t know. One moment he’s sweeping the floors and the next he passes out… he’s been like this for a week now.”
Kaida turned towards him angrily and shouted, “You didn’t tell me for a week?!”
“You’ve been hard to reach.”

Kaida paused and looked ashamed and held her head a bit in stress as she tried to reply, “I… you know I’ve been preparing for the Mark of Mastery… but… if you’d…” Kaida turned her head further away, “I… I didn’t…”
“Ya know, I bet if he was here… he’d tell us to calm down.”
“But he is here. He’s right here.”
“Then why does he feel so far away.”

Kaida shook and gripped the chair more and asked, “Is this… my fault? Is this because I haven’t been around...?”
“Not likely… hm… It’s funny…” Aux stood up and walked closer to Kaida. “Taking part of the blame should make things simpler… but it doesn’t. He’s still lying there, and we’re both standing here.”
“But why is he the one asleep? It feels wrong. He’s usually the hyper one, running around and trying to keep us going but instead he’s the one asleep. Why?” Kaida’s voice broke as she said why, and tears began to form before she started full on crying.

Aux hesitated for a moment, before he reached out pulled her closer in a sort of side hug. Kaida was a little too distraught to think about the fact it was Aux doing that and she moved her head closer to him to cry more.

When that felt settled in her own mind, she pulled herself out of it when she heard someone mention her having a crystal or something. She blinked and went to grab the crystal and held it out towards Marx and said, "Take it then, it's yours. I just found it in the water when I was about to drown and I just kept it along in case it was important. I'd much rather it be in the hands of the proper owner." she still looked a little off and in her own mind, but she was beginning to come to. But she probably looked more visibly distressed than she'd like.

Kel hadn't been expecting the story of the crystals to be as extensive as it was, but regardless he listens and tried to understand as much of what he was told as possible. Unfortunately, between the names of people, events, and groups being thrown around, it was hard to get a complete grasp on them. In the end, he had a pretty general grasp on everything which was enough to follow along at the very least. "You sure that they're among us?" Kel asked. His doubt was more in towards himself than anyone else. That seemed to be a big role and wasn't something he trusted himself doing.

Taking himself away from his own self-doubts, for the time being, he noticed how Kaida seemed to be. To say the least, she looked distressed, having no idea why she was like this left him with no idea on what to say. Or if there was anything he could say right now.

When Marx said, 'Even though I haven’t met the others apparently, only seven of us will be the chosen few to be the Guardians to stop the Thirteen Seekers of Darkness.' "I am not sure about only seven being chosen. From What I remember being told it always seemed like more then that were in the SOS group and would be chosen. I guess there is no use in worrying about it now and I am sure that when the time comes the lights will be known." Kel had asked if that Marx was sure that the seven lights were among the group. "While we can not be sure. You have to agree that there has been hints that at least some of them are in the group." From everything that has happened so far there had to be at least one person in the group that was a member of light. He looked over to Kaida who looked more visibly distressed then she had in some time. Thinking it might be best for the time being to let her be for at least a little bit seemed like the best option.

Ananta clenched her fists after hearing what Rourke did to the King. "A monster...he's a monster." she said. As she looked upon the King, she could tell he wasn't long for the world. There was nothing she could do to try and heal him, even her own abilities would not be sufficient to save him. Begging them to protect Atlantis, she nodded with wet cheeks. Rubbing her hands on her eyes, she looked to see the others jump down a hole. Ananta heard Faust and Ignis tease each other and she chuckled.

Staring at the hole, she nodded to herself and decided to be dramatic. She turned around and gave a small salute to the people in the room and fell backwards. The hole was deep, but she knew she needed to stop her descent. So she wouldn't get hurt, of course. Plummeting down, she waved her hands and an Aeroga spell surrounded her and cushioned her enough. She landed on her feet lightly and saw how Faust landed. "See, that's not how you do it, you gotta use wind magic to stop yourself." she said.

Once he had gotten the crystal, the teen examined it to get better detail. It glowed very brightly with a clear grey color and a boomerag-like design. “Thank you Kaida.” Marx said while pulling out the other six crystals. Seeing their individual colors soon gleam with reflective details, he placed the crystal in between the yellow and orange ones. Then something remarkable happens. The grey crystal seemed to had an immense amount of energy inside, because the energy was spreading to the other crystals as they glowed in harmony. Fascinated by this, Marx inspected it a bit more, “Extraordinary... so that’s what happens when their brought together.” Holding it in front of him like a stone tablet, he tapped the middle purple crystal and a bright light shined for a second as the crystals changed into clear ones showing an ancient text. “Hmm... I can read this, but it will take time to decipher some of the messages.” Marx said while examining the clear tablet, once he finished looking for the time being, he put it away. Looking over to the group, he also answered Kel’s question. “No doubt about it. Either two things can happen. One; The Seekers of Darkness can use the Seven Princesses of Heart to summon Kingdom Hearts, or two; same thing but with the Seven Guardians of Light. Either way there’s no escaping destiny. I should know.” Looking off to the ocean for a bit then muttering to himself, “I’ve tried...” Apparently everyone brought their attention to Kaida, who seemed to be quite distracted or distant about something. “Kaida? Are you okay, is something the matter?” Marx said kindly to the blonde girl. Hopefully she would tell them what’s on her mind.

Kaida had a feeling someone would notice she was out of it, but she wasn't really expecting the person to ask her be the new guy. Well, she didn't know if he was sticking with them but that didn't matter he was still the "new guy" as far as she could tell. Maybe it was for exactly that reason he did though, everyone else might have been just trying not to poke what could have been a potential wasp nest. After a second's pause she sighed and admitted, "I'm alright. But I've been pretty distracted lately." she started playing with the SOS ring on her finger and she answered, "I've... been slowly forgetting someone. A best friend. I remember his face... details are beginning to disappear... but his name is completely gone..." she looked at her hand which no longer had the writing on her palm as she said, "Another person in our group, his name is Steel. He could still remember his name and he wrote it down for me. Just seeing the name reminded me he was there for a minute... but..."

Kaida rubbed the back of her neck and said, "He was a replica, and he sacrificed himself to save Aux and ultimately it saved us too. Though, because of the nature of replicas... any memories of him that we have will disappear. Like he never existed. I don't even think I'll remember this conversation." she looked to her ring and said, "So for now I've promised to fight for all of us. So if he goes... that phrase will still include him." she shook her head and continued, "I'm not okay with this though... I'll never be okay with it."

The blonde finally turned to AJ and Kel and said, "I know Stratos' answer but... do you guys feel it happening too? Him just... disappearing. And if either of you happen to remember his name... can you say it?"

Ignis knocked Faust on the head from his pun, figuring she should have seen it coming. Soon Ananta came drifting down from the hole up top and Ignis simply let her face drop to a blank, neutral expression.

"You do know it's possible to just jump down right? After all, I did it, and so did Castur. Plus, it seems like a waste of magic if you ask me." She turned around and looked around the area they were in, which seemed to be a large cavernous room, and began cracking her knuckles. "Aside from that, Castur's right; we need to find Rourke and finish this. The guy needs to learn there's plenty of people out there better than him."

"You....you both know I only used the magic at the end right? So I wouldn't hurt myself?" She gave them both a head tilt. Looking around, she wondered where Rourke could be. Everyone was ready to kick his butt. "Besides, whenever I'm not in battle, I just use the magic stored in my crystal. Dunno why I can't in battle...something blocks it." She mumbled that last part with a shrug. "Ignis, can you not abuse poor Faust? It'll be all your faulst if he passes out later.""

Ignis gave Ananta a cold, dead stare. She couldn't even get up the energy for any worthwhile response. She simply sighed and looked away.

"If you're that worried about hurting yourself from a little jump like that, you might want to train a lot more. And at least Faust's jokes, terrible in taste as they are, make sense; that one you just tried, well let's just say you shouldn't have even tried it." She continued looking around and sighed deeply again. "Why does it feel like my life has become some sort of comedy act?"
