"Well, I didn't think it was a bad thing but good to know that we're definitely doing right by the worlds here." Stratos chuckled a bit, looking away from the other two a bit embarrassed,"sorry for asking a lot of these uh, well it seems pretty basic questions. I didn't really get a 'how to manual' with this thing and I didn't have a lot of time to adjust to this whole situation before things started getting crazy." Thinking on it a bit the boy said, "well, I suppose it'd be a problem if we tried to get to the land of departure and its barrier was up. But did Central Haven have one? Before things got...chaotic, from what little I saw it seemed like a hub or gathering place for all kinds of things. So, I'd imagine it want people to be able to get to it, so if it didn't you'd think the Land wouldn't either?"

"I guess I"m lucky I had a Master, huh?" Ananta chuckled. "Even if she didn't teach me everything, I learned a lot...you didn't get that opportunity, did you Stratos?" she asked. "And well, you're right about that. We've gotta figure out a way to get on to the other worlds, but they probably won't let us in...." She looked up at the sky. "But you know, I think we can get back there if we really tried." she said.

Luna opened her eyes to see daylight pouring into her tent a bit. She got up and exited her tent. "Good morning!" Luna looked over to the fire as all was left was embers and its ashes. Aislinn had then brought up a suggestion. "You know I never thought how we would make it back. I don't think that we can take that small boat again, maybe we should run to see if we can catch up with John Smith and the others see if they can help us out." Luna nodded her head. "Good idea. Perhaps they have an extra boat or maybe they can let us aboard their ship." Luna began helping Aislinn with cleaning up the camp.

Kaida looked to Stratos after hearing the others seem to sufficiently answer most of those questions probably more eloquently than she would have. When he mentioned asking about basic questions she said, "Hey, it's alright. We all had to learn this stuff eventually and there's no shame in getting some of this stuff known." there was only one part to his question not full answered was the last part, Kaida looked unsure and said, "It's uh, a little more complicated with Central Haven. It has a really strong barrier as a matter of protection because it's a world that's supposed to take in those who have lost their world or have been otherwise displaced from it. It's a... safe haven if you will. That wasn't supposed to be a pun. So while it is almost a melting pot, it's still well guarded. I know the Order specifically put it's security system in place to help with those who wished to enter it willingly."

Looking to Ananta he said, "yeah, it just kind of appeared in my hand one day, and no one else in my world really knew what it was so I just kind of had to go with the flow, so to speak." He nodded as she mentioned they could probably break through if they just tried, and then listened to Kaida and Aux's explanations about the barriers, saying aloud, "so it's a really strong barrier with control on who gets in and out? Well, if it was strong because the Order was protecting it, then we should probably have no problem getting back to the land of departure. After all, we're not there to guard it and Yen Sid isn't so - well, that's actually probably more unsettling now that I think about it, but, I'm sure it'll be fine when we get there."

Morning had arisen and Kel had evidently been the last to awaken, though it was no fault of his own. Asking the Englishmen for a lift was the best option that they had really, so why not go for it. That was the intention anyway before they ended up stumbling upon a talking tree. Kel was actually a bit surprised by that too. "You can tell?" Kel remarked, following the trees comment towards Luna.

 

"Yen Sid..." Ananta repeated. She remembered what happened and she immediately gave herself a hug. "I don't want to talk about Yen Sid, please. Bad times..." She sighed and thought about the barrier situation and that reminded her of her own world. "That's crazy to be talking about barriers. I thought my world had one, but obviously that was untrue...but from what I understood, Central Haven did have a strong one from the small time being there. I wonder how things happened....maybe it was and inside job?" she suggested.

Luna walked along with Aislinn and Kel until they reached a small pond with a willow tree in the center. "How pretty...." Luna smiled as she looked around until she heard a song flow through the wind. She closed her eyes as she listened to the song. She then saw Aislinn walk up to the tree. As she approached the tree, a face had emerged from it. "Whoa!" Luna walked up to the tree as she was a bit in shock over it but was also curious. "Don't be afraid chi- oh you." The tree had immediately looked at Luna. Luna pointed a finger at herself as she was a bit confused. The tree had then continued. "You shine with the same light that she does." Luna's eyes widened a bit in shock. Kel had then chimed in. "You can tell?" Luna had tried to process it for a few moments. Luna had then walked up to the tree. "Would you be talking about Pocahontas by any chance?"

Steel chuckled at the reminder of when he had first met Ananta before she joined in on the others' conversation. He didn't really get much of a chance to response to her or the others before they went off on several tangents like boats, the world walls, or armors. (Personally he had always used a cloak for protection, or stored light energy in the mask he wore on his shoulder before leaving to create a sort of barrier. He hadn't really needed it in the Realm of Darkness.) Though ultimately it left him to think through his answer to her question: Talking to the others more.

It was something he wanted to do actually, but... well, what was his problem with it? Was habit holding him back? Or maybe the craziness and somber mood of it all. How did one even begin to explain about his eye? That he was basically some weird science monster held together with an echo of some memories and the shard of what was essentially a magic reactor from another dimension? Timeline even? It was all rather stupidly complicated to boot. He didn't really like being alone with his thoughts all the time, but... it was hard to talk about.

Time passed by as he tried desperately both to pay attention and think about his own thoughts, though Ananta seemed to have moved on for now, and there was no way he was grabbing everyone's attention by giving her a response in front of them now. Still, he clearly didn't have the brain power of his predecessor, because it was all just getting mixed up in his head. So when the words "Land of Departure" stuck out to him, he sort of just set aside a lot of the other things including his conversation with Ananta. She had let it drop already, so they could continue in private later.

"Hmmm... The land of departure... it was much more temple-like than Central Haven. It had a supernatural level of balance between Light and Darkness as well." He crossed his arms in thought. That place was definitely special.

Luna listened as the willow tree explained the situation that this world was facing. Once the tree had finished, Aislinn had asked the willow tree if there was anyway to help. Luna then spoke up. "If there is anyway to help heal this world, I want to be able to help." Luna wanted to help stop the heartless from pouring into the world and terrorizing the people.

Kaida tried to keep up with every point brought up since she wanted to acknowledge whatever she could. She heard Steel and Stratos' describing the Land of Departure and was curious about it, but then she kind of just looked up at the sky again for a while before she looked over towards the ocean. She didn't say another word before saying, "You know what... we'll probably do better with a boat. We're not gonna be able to directly get ourselves to the land of departure or anything like that, but it'll get us off this rock. There's just the risk we could die but that risk is more likely if we try to fly out at this rate..." Kaida started to wander away yelling, "I hate boats! I really hate boats! My world didn't have boats and everything was just fine. But we're going on a boat I guess. I would rather not because of how risky and unnavigatible it is, but I'm not gonna risk myself nearly dying in the oceans between again." she was already walking away from everyone kicking the sand up in the air and getting irritable about it.

Stratos found what Steel said interesting, mostly because he hadn't even thought of the place in that sort of a way before. But, when he had thought about it, the land did have a strange sanctuary type feel to it, with some kind of strange in between feeling. All the same, his thoughts were broken as Kaida had come around to the idea of using a boat and traveling via the sea. Well, come around in the loosest sense of the term. Stratos just kind of stood there, wondering where the girl was actually walking to as she vented out her hatred of boats, looking to the others saying, "well, I guess we should start looking for some boats to procure. Hopefully something bigger than what we had last time." Looking back to the blonde girl he said, "oh, and to help soften the blow, we can see about getting ice cream again before we leave here."

The willow tree knew a lot about what had gone on outside and even had a way for them to help. A pathway had opened up for them to take. It had guided them to a keyhole, something Kel had not seen for quite some time. "A keyhole, that makes sense strangely enough." Keyhole aside, Kel had started to look around to see if there was anything else was to notice.

 

"Yeah, it definitely was special. I miss it, kind of....good memories made there." she chuckled. At least Steel finally spoke up after a long thought about what she'd said. Kaida started going off about boats and how she hated them. Ananta didn't like it either, but it didn't hurt trying a boat again. Stratos suggested to procure some and getting some ice cream again. "That's a safe place to start." Ananta nodded. She turned to Kaida and called after her. "We're going to get ice cream!" she said, looking at Stratos and nodding for him to follow her.

Steel shrugged as Ananta and Stratos walked off.

"Ice cream might be good, what do you guys think?" He directed his question to the other two, though he didn't figure Aux would be likely to answer. Really, he figured he already had a headache, so he might just order a ton of ice cream and get a brain freeze on top of it. Just to shake things up.

At the suggestion of others, who all seemed to be interested in the idea of getting some ice cream, she turned around and looked over at Lilo and Nani, the whole team over there seemed at least distracted in their own conversations for the time being. She shrugged and said, "Alright, sure. We probably shouldn't be too long since we should proooobably give them a formal see-ya-later as opposed to just disappearing... but I think I need ice cream." she shifted her hair back and walked over back to them and said, "Maybe after that we could ask them about boats.." Kaida looked up the beach to see if she could see any ice cream stands around and there seemed to be a couple on the shoreline selling to some of the beach-goers. She pointed towards them and said, "There's some." and she started walking towards it to at least get the walk started.
