Kaida processed the fact that Steel said the name and there was instant recognition... followed immediately by her forgetting exactly what the name was. It was infuriating, mostly her being angry at herself because she knew she should remember something this important. But the name was remembered by someone, which offered her a bit of relief that the name wasn't gone from everyone, but why couldn't it stay in her mind? She looked over towards Steel since he had been the one who answered her anyway and she looked at him and felt embarrassed and asked him again, "C...can you repeat the name again? It just... vanished a soon as you said it..."

"Hikaru... Kaida, are you all right?" It could be that she had taken a blow to the head during that last fight, but he also wasn't going to dismiss the possibility of something more sinister being at work.

Ananta looked over at a worried Kaida. She walked over and put a hand on Kaida's shoulder, listening to her. "Of course I remember, his name is-" she stopped herself, realizing she could not remember the name at all. And every time Steel said a certain word, she couldn't remember what he said. it was as if something was messing with their memories. "Oh no...a...are we...forgetting?" she asked, covering her mouth in horror. "Kaida, this is bad." She said, looking over at Kaida. "I can remember what they said but I can't remember the rest....I know he just...he just sacrificed himself but....but...."

Tears flooded Ananta eyes as she held back sobs.

Luna seemed really on top of things, which made life easier for Aislinn as Kel started bringing back wood for her to build the fire with. While he was collecting the wood she started to collect stones and create a clear area where they would be able to safely keep the fire contained. It wasn't long after Kel brought the sticks that she managed to be able to light the fire, making sure that it was nice and hot for when Luna brought back her catches. She was amazed at how quickly Luna managed to catch the fish, but was grateful none the less, she was getting a little hungry after all. "Alright give me fifteen minutes and I will have these all cooked up for you!" Unfortunately she was not prepared to be cooking so it ended up rather bland with very little for additional flavouring, but she had an orange with her in case she got hungry, so Aislinn squeezed the juice on top of the fish to make it at least something a bit more. "Eat up you two!" Aislinn smiled as she handed out the food.

Aislinn wasn't the only one who had been surprised by the amount of fish Luna had gotten in the time it had taken him to gather those sticks, there was also the speed in which Aislinn had cook the fish. All of which had gone a lot faster, and much easier, than he was expecting it to go honestly. Once everything was ready he grabbed himself one fish and took a bite out it. The saltiness of the fish toppled with the hint of orange added at the last minute had done well to bring out the full flavor of the fish and was easily noticed by the 'mmm' noise that Kel had made following his first bite. "So, what's next on the camping agenda?" Gathering firewood was about as far as his knowledge went. They could always resort to just talking though. Always an option.

Sitting down munching slowly on her fish there was silence for a few moments before finally Kel asked what was next on their camping agenda. "You know. I really don't know. I am not the camping expert here." Aislinn said with a bit of a laugh. "You and Luna are supposed to know this stuff I am just going off the very basics of survival, which it seems that we have covered." She looked around it was starting to get dark out and she was actually enjoying it to some extent. The bugs were coming out, but the sun was turning the entire sky various colours of pink and orange and it was breathtaking. "I wish I could capture this moment." She whispered just staring up at the sky.

While everything had seemed to work out, both with Stich and his family and the group's mission, all that remained was finding a way off the island and to other worlds. However, as Stratos tried to think of this, he heard Kaida speak up, panicked about something. Stratos had a look of concern cross his face as she seemed to not be able to remember the man who sacrificed himself for them, more specifically his name, even after Steel had clarified what it was. Worst over, it seemed that Ananta had started to follow this as well. "Come on guys, his name is..." Stratos paused for a moment. There was a clear look of thought on his face during this pause before saying, "Hikaru." He nodded to himself, as if affirming to himself that this was right. Looking at the group he said, "but, this is worrying. Why we would all suddenly be forgetting Hi- him?"

Kaida immediately whispered to herself, "Hikaru..." she tried to have the name stick and hoped her saying it would help. But it didn't take too long before it was gone again. The blonde shook her head towards everyone and said, "I don't know why I've forgotten his name. I didn't get hit by any spells or anything that seemed off to me..." Kaida grabbed a marker and looked over at Steel and held out her hand, "Could you write his name on my wrist? I'll at least remember it that way... hopefully..." The girl looked towards everyone else and sighed, "I don't think it can be helped at this rate, but maybe it's just temporary or something...?"

Aux's mind blanked for a moment as his eyes darted back and forth to try and remember his friend's name. He felt awful that it took more than a few seconds for his name to click.

"We're forgetting him because... everything he had was borrowed." Aux took a small pause to try and connect the dots as to why this was happening. "My memories with kurts data...- Hikaru was created artificially... so when he passed on, all our memories of him are meant to fade as well." Aux sat down on a rock with his head down. "And because he was alive so long, our memories of him are going to fade at a slower rate... it's torture."

Other than chopping and gathering firewood, Kel didn't know what to do form this point either. Luna was the only one who actually was the expert on all this. Taking another bite out of the fish, he followed Aislinn gaze up towards the sky. "Maybe we can." Eventually, these colors would be replaced with the darkness of night and the stars would have their turn to come out. Truth be told it was on the list of things that he's wanted to see first hand for quite some time.

"That's too cruel...." Ananta said, wiping her eyes. She sobbed and closed her eyes. She thought about what Aux said and took a deep breath. "So are we destined to completely forget him? Everything he's done...it's all just going to..to go to waste? Fading away into nothingness?" Ananta asked, looking at Aux, hoping he knee what was going to happen. When he didn't reply, Ananta looked at Kaida. "NO. I'm not going to just...forget him. I can't accept that." Ananta put a hand to her chest. She felt her heart beating and reached for her crystal necklace. The warmth it radiated reminded her of her loved ones. She sighed and looked at Kaida, a sad look on her face. "Kaida, I'm sorry..I don't know how this has got to feel right now."

"And how do you suppose we did that?" But at this point it didn't matter anyways. The bright colours of the sky faded into dark blue's. The smallest specks of light trying to show their true beauty, but without it being completely dark, they struggled against the still fading presence of the sun. She painted the imagine in her mind and hoped that it would last for at least a little while. Laying back a bit she stared up at the stars and the moon starting to rise up. "So back in the realm of light, when we meet up with everyone and deal with this No Heart character, what then for you guys?"
