Video Game: Kingdom Hearts SOS: The Road To Light

Beuce was already wearing a jacket, but it wasn't a terribly thick one. It was more for decorative purposes, as most suit jackets were. If they were to get up that mountain, they'd need more protective clothing. Beuce perused the selection of winter garments the shop had to offer until he found something he liked. Though a thought struck him as he was looking through them. It was really odd that this store was selling winter clothing. They were in the middle of summer right before this. I mean sure you'd need warm clothing to climb a mountain any time of year, but this mountain didn't seem to be that impossibly high as to reach incredible colds. It looked like you could climb it on foot in a matter of a few hours, tops. In the summer it was probably too warm to even snow. Plus, even if it were, there couldn't be that many people climbing the mountain as run a sustainable business off selling clothing for it, right? Beuce let go of the oddity of this store's wares and the sheer coincidence of it all once he was done. They had to focus more on the task at hand.​

 

Luna looked over at Pocahontas before walking up to her. "Thank goodness you're okay!" Pocahontas had then asked about the heartless and what exactly were they. "They are beings that have lost their own selves to the shadows within. Just mindless beings looking for something to make them feel whole again." Luna looked down before making eye contact with the native. She looked over to John Smith as he commended them on their strength and courage. She nodded her head before hearing the voice of the Village Chief. He had immediately ordered Pocahontas to move away from the trio and John Smith. Luna was definitely shocked, not because of the chief's words but the air around him. Chief Powhatan had immediately ordered his men to capture John Smith. He had then instructed the trio to find the campsite and alert them that there is no gold to found on this land. Luna nodded her head before Powhatan looked over to them. "As for you three. You are no longer welcome here. Your spirit's were pure. But they have been tainted by greed. Warn your leader that we will not be moved from our home." "That's not true!" Luna tried to argue but Chief Powhatan had walked away with the rest of his men. "I know it's not...."

The trio were then greeted by Nanaki. "What's wrong?" "I have seen the visitors... They are arming themselves for war. Something is wrong in this world. Everyone's spirits are being flooded by hatred and darkness." Luna's eyes widen for a moment before taking a deep breath. After doing just that, she continued to listen to Nanaki. Though...His next words were very alarming. "I believe they are being led by this man I saw. He was neither from this world, nor Smiths... He rode a black horse and his head was... not present. As hard as that is to believe..." Headless...Horseman....Flashes of memory played back in her mind. Her time in Wonderland and Beast's Castle....Pocahontas was in more danger than she had realized. "This is bad.....This is very bad....." Luna turned to the two before speaking again. "If we don't stop that horseman and this war soon....we might lose more than this land...." Aislinn had suggested that they find the horseman. "We need to do more than just find him. That horseman isn't here just to stir things up....Pocahontas is more grave danger than before. If that horseman gets to her because of....certain traits.....I rather not imagine what would happen...We need to make sure she's safe while stopping this impending war." Luna looked to the two as she informed them.

He walked outside with the others and looked up to the mountain. He figured it was time to go. As they reached higher up it began to get noticeable colder. He reached into his bag and pulled out a coat that he already had and put it on. He looked down at the town and noticed how high up they were now. 'Arendelle. It's completely frozen..But it will be fine. Elsa will thaw it.' It did not seem that bad yet but if things went on he was sure that it would get worse. They came across a small patch of trees that had survived the ice storm. Their limp branches were crystallized and presented a very lovely scene. 'I never knew winter could be so beautiful,' "It can be sometimes." A goofy, jovial voice said in the distance something. Who else was up here he wondered. He continued walking until they came across a walking talking snowman, smiling happily as he talked. Anna gasped and stepped back as she found the snowman. Screaming, she kicked off the snowman's head right into Beuce's hands. "A snowman." He was not surprised anymore of the odd things that showed up out of nowhere. He wondered who built a snowman all the way up here.

The group had finally decided on whatever they were going to wear and caught up with Ignis, walking through the snowy mountains until they came to a small clearing with a few trees that had little droplets of ice that hung off the trees. It certainly was something different, Ignis would admit that. Though not nearly as different as the randomness that occurred right after. Anna had made a comment about how nice it was, and out of nowhere there was a snowman, quite a strange one at that, from Ignis's perspective at least, and it was walking and talking on its own. It scarred Anna enough that she knocked its head off and into Beuce's arms, which didn't stop it from speaking.

"Hey Beuce, you've - ah...you've got something in your arms there" She tried to find the words, but they left her as she just stared at the snowman, wondering how exactly to react.

 

"Well, then no use standing around here." At Ananta's suggestion to use their gliders, Stratos had summoned his keyblade back to his hand. He didn't seem to pay much mind towards Aux's reluctance to follow along them with a keyglider, instead spinning his own in his hand. Looking towards Nani, he said, "don't worry. We'll be back with her." Looking to the sky, he simply mumbled, "we have to." With that, he tossed his keyblade into the air, jumping after it. As he did, the blade turned into his keyglider of which the boy landed on it. Taking a small breath, the boy rocketed off into the sky, in hot pursuit of Lilo's captor.

Faust could only stare in wonder at how the dew covering the various trees of the clearing had frozen coating the trees in a natural set of ice ornaments. He was brought out of his musings and wonderment when tripped and slipped on a lose rock hidden under the snow as he began to fall face first into the snow he felt his body halted for a second. As he observed his surroundings he seemed to be tangled in a set of the long tendrils hanging from the trees. When he heard a voice that didn't belong to their search group. When he turned back around he saw a talking snowman that moved on it's own accord, it greeted the group before Anna sent it's head flying into the arms of Beuce. Faust was fascinated at seeing this new and incredible pile of snow trapped in wonderment at seeing the head and body continue to move and operate even when separated from its self. "Hello new snow constructed friend!" Faust exclaimed from where he was hanging "It's Ice to meet you!"

Kel had given Luna a look that was a mixture of surprise and confusion. It sounded like she's seen this horseman before. "You think he's after Pocahontas as well?" It made sense and certainly fit with how Luna was reacting. If so, taking into account that Pocahontas is a Princess of Heart, then they needed to do something about that as well. Stopping a war and hunting down a horseman, so much to do in so little time. It didn't impede on their current destination, in fact, they could come across the horseman while on their way.

For some reason a headless snowman still taking was one of the oddest things he seen so far. That said the snowman that was still talking without a body was not the strangest thing he seen so far. Meanwhile Faust seemed to be trying to be friends with the snowman. He stood there and looked up to the mountain. It was hard to tell who had been up here and how many had been up this way. As he looked towards the path in front of them there was no foot prints so the snow fall had covered the foot prints of whoever had come come here. This made it so there was no way to tell who had been up here. Having a headless snowman continue to talk to them was creepy and hopefully Beuce would put the head back or something.

Ananta glanced at the others and back to herself. "Give me a second" she said, running into a nearby strip mall. She was tired of this outfit and couldn't stand this anymore. Without thinking, she grabbed some clothes that she had been eyeing previously and put them on. She shoved the old clothes into the fitting room she was in and left some munny on the counter and ran back out. She adjusted her hair as she frantically made her way back to the group.

"I can't make up my mind I just....anyway." she looked at Aux, having time to process what he had previously told her. "Aux, you've gotta admit, you are kind of acting like the littlest inconvenience is gonna ruin your day." she pointed out. "I've watched your eye twitch, your keyblade come out, among other things. I'm sorry I'm not trying to ask what's wrong, but obviously you're stressed about something." She joined him going over to Jumba's ship. "But I shouldn't be treating you like that. I'm sorry." she said, bowing at him. "Though you've done a great job so far, I have to give you that. So you're not a ticking time bomb. You've just got your own problems to deal with."

"Ananta, you're doing the thing again." Kaida whispered to herself since the green-haired girl wasn't in range to hear her anymore. She'd been quiet the whole time over-viewing the situation and beating herself up a bit over not being no help at all other than giving Gantu the edge to escape. Kaida took a deep breath trying to get over herself as she continued whispering, "Overapologizing to the point of making people think you're brown nosing them." Kaida held her hand out to summon her keyblade. Once it was out, she stabbed it into the ground as it flashed and transformed into her usual glider and she got on it. She tried pressing her arm to try and get her keyblade armor on but it seemed to not be working properly. Kaida sighed and said, "It must have broke at some point... oh well." and Kaida began flying up into the sky following Stratos.

As the group dealt with the living snowman -- if "living" that was the proper word to be used -- Faust seemed intent on making friends with thing. Although, Ignis was slightly more interested in how the guy had even managed to get himself tangled up in a bunch of crystallized dew in the first place. She let out a giant sigh as he made his ice pun and walked over to deal with him. She took out her keyblade, and without any warning, cut the ice that was holding him and let him fall face-first into the snow. As he fell, she knelt down and slammed her hand on his head, plunging his face into the snow even further.

"You know, it's actually kind of impressive," She placed her free hand on her leg and made a little pondering face, "I've only just met you but you've somehow managed to irritate me more than most people in my life with that personality of yours. Is this going to be a recurring thing with us?"

Ignis continued to her Faust's face in the snow, keeping the innocent, pondering look all the while, as if she had no clue what was going on.

While admittedly even if the dark aura hadn't been around Ratcliffe, Kel didn't doubt a possibility of him trying to attack the natives regardless. Though the aura did allow for a possibility for that to no be the case. "Going to war isn't going to solve anything, especially not with what's going on the Native's side." Whether or not they listened or ignored them was not the focus, getting their point across was. "Is this gold really worth spilling blood over?!"

Steel gave a heavy sigh as he watched events unfold before him. Clearly, this group was still far too dysfunctional in spite of everything they had done earlier. He wanted to say something, anything, to set things right. But he had never been any good with words. This was a fact time had proven, no matter how elegant or refined he tried to make his speech, he was not really the best person for helping others.

Even with that said, he didn't really want to leave Aux alone after that interaction with Ananta. It seemed ever since they got here everyone was intent on rubbing Aux past in his face. Well... okay not everyone. Just the girls. Sure, he had made up with Kaida but... Perhaps the first step in this 'support' thing was to just be there for the other, even if he could calm himself down on his own, the presence of someone else might- and Ananta was heading over there too. Well, shoot. He didn't know if she was actually going along with him, but if she was he would probably need to intervene. Hopefully, she would get a clue with how he acted after Myed left, and leave him alone. That said, he himself followed after Aux with little notice to the others.

"I just want to be there for you..." Ananta spoke under her breath with a sigh, turning away from Aux. She was doing the thing again and she knew it wasn't making things better. She couldn't help it, she just wanted him to know how sorry she was and he wasn't acknowleding the sorry until just now. Glancing backwards, she shrugged to herself and summoned her keyglider. She climbed upon it, gripping the bar and looking towards the sky. Taking a few deep breaths, she calmed herself down and smiled. "Let's go!" she called out, zooming off after Jumba took off.
