Video Game: Kingdom Hearts SOS: The Road To Light

Steel's ears twitched as he was rather abruptly called out from inside by Kaida. How on earth she had heard him from inside with the limited hearing human ears provided, he wasn't sure. Regardless, it seemed he was being summoned.

"Well then..." He turned to the wolf who had been keeping him company. "...It's always nice to meet a fellow fan. Enjoy your vacation." With that farewell and a quick wave, Steel walked around to the front of the hotel and made his way inside. He approached Kaida and her laser pointer since she was the one who had called him in specifically.

"Aren't laser pointers more a cat thing?"

 

"Yes..." Kaida moved a little closer to Steel and said, "But he isn't exactly a cat or a dog but look at him." the blonde moved the pointer more and the blue alien moved to catch it. Kaida got up to a wall and shifted it upwards so it was above his reach and the alien stopped and stared at it before letting out a growl like noise and he started climbing up the wall like a spider or something to follow the laser pointer. Kaida's eyes widened as she watched this happen and when Stitch was just about to reach the pointer she turned it off and he looked around everywhere for it, skeptically.

Kaida looked over at Steel and took a deep breath and said, "I-I don't like this... I don't like this... wait." she pointed the laser again to attract the attention of Stitch and mumbled towards Steel once more, "You're fast, right? What if you grab a bag and try to grab him up in it while I distract him with the pointer."

Stitch's ears twitched.

 

Steel looked thoughtful for a moment but ultimately shook his head.

"Is that really the best idea? I mean... he's supposed to have super strength, and he quite clearly does have claws. The laser pointer would only distract him until he was actually in the bag, after all, I don't think it would hold him for very long once we got him in it." Though along those lines, just how were they supposed to nab him though? Lure him with candy, pastries or food of some kind? The creature hardly had any reason to head for the water. What could they really do here?

Kel, having never seen a waterfall before, was immediately distracted by the sheer sight of it all. The tranquil air that it all seem have while providing a peaceful sight and the shadow behind that ran off shortly before John Smith gave chase. Okay that last part wasn't really anything that had to do with the waterfall itself and more so the surprise from John's actions. Kel had barely moved a muscle before they were stopped by, using John's descriptions from earlier, Indians. Not the best of timings for them to show up, especially with threatening their lives. "Easy there, we aren't looking for trouble. I'm Kel." His hands went up as well to prove his statement. "No need to threaten our lives here."

 

Stratos, who was near Kaida and Steel observing the thing in full said, "well, he's probably super fast and you're like, the speed guy. So no one else can catch him, except maybe Kaida, but she's the laser guy right now. If you're worried about his strength though, you should try and tag team with Aux, because he's also probably super strong. Just like, lure him into the big guy or something. And then uh, then...." Stratos seemed to think on it for a moment, before saying, "well, I haven't that far ahead yet."

 

Kaida tried to think about some sort of plan for a minute and looked over at Lilo and said, "What if... we got her to look away... and then I cast Stopga on him. Then Steel runs to grab him and Aux is ready on standby for when it wears off?" It wasn't the greatest strategy in the world but at the very least Steel could get the creature far enough away, "If that isn't the best route... mmm... I'm not the best with gravity spells. How are you with gravity spells, Strat?"

 

The boy thought about it for a moment and said, "well, since we got our Auras I'd like to think I'm better at most. So if we need to stop him that way then I can probably bring him down. But uh," he looked around, seeing that they were still in a largely public place saying, "are you sure it's ok to just bust out some high tier magic in here? I mean, didn't you just scold Aux for almost bringing out his keyblade?"

 

Kaida wasn't trying to be hypocritical or anything in this situation but she realized she needed to clarify and said, "There's a big difference between drawing out a magical keyblade and pointing it at civilians who might not know about other worlds otherwise... and distracting the civilians while we bust out high tier magic in order to accomplish a needed goal." Kaida quiet for a second and said, "But I suppose it is risky. But I can't really think of a way to lure him out." Kaida whispered back as she kept circling with the red laser pointer on the wall and he chased after it rapidly. The girl stared off amused by it before blinking and looking at Stratos and saying, "I-I mean I guess there's the pointer but... okay fine do you have a better idea?"

 

Ananta listened to Kaida's plan and she...didn't think it was a good idea. Not at all. If Stitch is as dangerous as they were told he was, why would they try to brute force the whole thing? As they bantered, Ananta looked at Lilo and then Stitch and she tapped her chin. "Kaida, why don't we just ask Lilo if she could...I dunno, show us some cool places to hang out?" Ananta suggested. "Or maybe even let us give Stitch a walk. Something that doesn't involve showing off our magic."

"Yeah, that's uh, that's a good distinction." Stratos then tried to think of some other plan they could get Stich away from here, when Ananta spoke up. "That's," the boy paused for a moment. "That's actually a good idea. Lilo seems friendly enough that she'd probably just go along with it, and she still thinks that thing is her dog. So going for a walk with it seems like a fine idea. Besides, we can probably ask her more about it and see if we can figure out what's what with it before we try and forcibly take it."

 

Beuce looked to Ignis when she joked about them drawing straws. "Well, you two can go where you like, I'm going to grab something to eat while we wait for the princesses to start mingling." and so he did. The aroma of chocolate permeated throughout the room, and he soon found the source to be an assortment of small foods on a large white table, which he was pleased to help himself to, as he hadn't actually eaten anything in a few days. He'd been busy pouring over tomes on magic or getting ready for this party, but now the lack of food was beginning to catch up with him. He looked over to the head of the room, munching on the food. Ignis was right, there was a large throne just as she'd described. Well, of course there was. What kind of royalty didn't have a throne? From the looks of things, the two princesses were there already. One had solid snow white hair, and the other sported sandy brown hair with a single streak of white. That was interesting. At least his hair wouldn't make him stick out.​

He walked in with Ignis and Beuce. Ignis said something about drawing straws. He shrugged. "We should just wing it. Things seem to work out for the most part when we do. I also do not particularly care where I end up." Beuce soon left to get chocolate. He thought now would be a good time to part way with Ignis. While Beuce was over by the chocolate he made his way over to the sandwiches taking a plate and one sandwich. He filled his plate with different foods. He tried to stay clear of Beuce so it was not clear that they knew each other. He walked around the room with plate in hand and noticed there seemed to be two women in the center of the room. One with solid snow white hair, and the other sported sandy brown hair with a single streak of white. This was no doubt who they were looking for. He had finished some of his food now and hunger was not eating at him some much. He knew sooner or later things would start. By the looks of things it was going to start rather soon.

 

Beuce munched down the food quicker than he would've liked, and took a sip of the wine that was available. Briefly, he took note of AJ getting a sandwich, among other things. Walking over, Beuce took a seat and looked onward in the direction of the princesses. They looked to be a little younger than he was. Probably the same age as Stratos or Kaida. His thoughts briefly drifted to them, and he wondered where they ended up and what it was like. Their boats had all gone off to various places beyond their control. Any of them could've ended up anywhere. He was confident they could handle themselves, however, so he decided to focus on the task at hand and scanned the crowd for any moves made toward the princesses for now. ​

"No, its just us." Kel answered. Despite how they described the weapons, they couldn't have been talking about a keyblade. Maybe they meant John's weapon that he was holding. Still first savages and now white devils, neither of which had given off any form of non hostilities.

 

Faust couldn’t believe his luck as he shifted though the crowed ballroom of the palace. Not only did he arrive on the same day as a big celebration for the coronation of the new queen, but he even was able to attend a fancy party meant for the foreign nobility. He was whistling out softly with the music resounding throughout the hall to himself as he lifted the small tray holding a few champagne flutes a bit higher to squeeze past a few guests. He began to think to himself Can’t say it isn’t an interesting experience to see how these kinds of events are put together.


He had been asked to fill in for one of the servants that had been injured himself when he was out getting some last-minute ingredients for the event. Faust had been passing by when he had been exploring this new world. One thing lead to another and now he found himself working this event as a servant.


As he scanned the ballroom and walked around, offering some drinks to various party goers, he noticed something. Out of the whole ballroom filled to the brim with nobility and party goers, one girl seemed to stand out to him with vibrant red hair. Deciding to push his luck Faust nonchalantly placed his empty serving tray to the side as he began walking toward her. When he got next to her he opened with a grin as he said “My, it must be my lucky day to meet such a beautiful rose such as yourself. The name’s Faust, it’s a pleasure to have our fates cross paths like this,” giving a slight bow.

Ignis walked into the big ballroom, or throne room, depending on the point of view considering there was a throne in there and everything, and began to wander around keeping an eye on things. She stayed close to the edge of the room, walking near the windows and keeping out of the crowd as long as possible. The whole stuff about practicing dancing earlier was not something she wanted to try out unless it was absolutely necessary. She spied Beuce and AJ going around as well, and kept an eye on where they were in the room as well. Soon Ignis spotted two girls up near the throne through the mess of people, one with white hair and the other with a brown color with a white streak. As she tried to get closer, apparently a boy already decided to mess with her by giving her one of the cheesiest pick-up lines she ever heard. With her face getting slightly red from the fact that not only did this boy say such an embarrassing line, but to her, she cleared her through a little and made sure to try and hide herself from Beuce and AJ so they wouldn't notice.
"I'm sorry, but that was terrible," She motioned her arms in a shooing motion, trying to give the boy the message, "You might want to take those terrible lines of yours and practice them some more in front of a mirror, they need some work. Now excuse me, I've got some place else to be. Namely, not with you or your bad pick-up lines."

He continued to walk around the room. He had finished his plate at this point and he wiped his hands on a napkin and toss the plate away. The room that they were in seemed to be rather big. He was trying to keep a eye on Beuce, Ignis and the two girls at the same time. Beuce was sitting and he would take a seat before the celebration took place. he was trying to watch to see if anyone would make any moves towards the princesses. No one seemed to go for them yet. Ignis seemed to be on the edge of the room for the most part. He knew that being this spread out, that if anything happened one of them would be able to do something. There seemed to be wine at every table. He himself had never had any and being out of it did not seem like the best idea considering what the cost was. He had never got the appeal of wine and alcohol in general. A servant seemed to walk up to Ignis and was more then likely taking to her about something. Maybe he was offering to go get something. His eyes drifted back to the two princesses. He knew that if Beuce or Ignis got in trouble he would know. there would be a scream or something. There was also the fact that the two could take care of them self.
