He stood there when Ignis said, 'Well, obviously we're not going to take the princesses anywhere. Sheesh, you guys take things so seriously.' He could not believe the conversation was going this way. He did not feel like that there need to be a answer to his question. Then Ignis asked, 'should we try to do it all at once, or each separate and try to get to know them? I don't know about you, but three people all of a sudden out of nowhere would be a little overwhelming.' "Well the castle is big so they could be anywhere. There is also the fact that we do not know what they look like so they could be anyone." 'You do know there are other ways of making use of people outside of trying to marry them, right?' Well no kidding sherlock he thought. He took a deep breath and did not know what to say. Then Beuce said, 'Yeah. There are also two princesses. That means one of us should be with each of the princesses separately, and another should be there for backup in case something goes wrong. It's a little hard to say who should be with which princess since we know nothing about their personalities. So, we'll decide on that once we get there.' "Maybe we should just wing it. Things seem to work out for the most part when we do so. I am also sure that we will know who the princesses are when we get there. Once we know more we just go with whatever happens."

Kel too was able to understand the adventure reason behind John Smith being here. It was a pretty easy reason to understand and much better when compared the other ones he listed. "I can get that, well kinda, there's never been much of a desire for adventure for me. Its a nice change of pace though." After all there's been numerous things that he's both seen and done while on this adventure that he probably never would've done before. In that regard he was certainly grateful for all this.

"Well, speaking from personal experience the few times I've gone to parties with royalty, I can bet you there's going to be a big chair somewhere in the room and the princess and/or queen is going to be sitting in that chair. Or at the very least, near it." Ignis had her hand to her head, failing to even get a proper image of any of the parties she'd been to.

They had gotten close to the castle by this point, and Ignis looked up, realizing the castle was much bigger up close than it was from the other side of the bridge. It was deceptively wide, but at least they weren't going to have to search the whole place.

"The good news is, in these kinds of events, it's rare for the guest of honor to not be there, so I doubt we'll have to search anywhere else. And that's not because I've had to attend them as a party goer, that's me speaking as a former bodyguard for some important people. Trust me, it gets boring fast."

 

Steel had only the briefest of moments to think that he was rather inclined to like the 'dog' as it rained down fragile substances with not but a stringed instrument, even it had severely hurt his sensitive hearing, before being dragged after it by Ananta. He wasn't quite sure why she seemed to think that was her job all of a sudden. She had come to pull him away from the beach too, and he had been doing some important research. It was too bad it couldn't be completed, though that was more because of a missing variable. He had stopped her from dragging him away, after all. Still, as she let go of them at their new destination, he decided he had clearly made a mistake in joining them out in the hot sun. It didn't seem anyone actually needed him, so he waved to the others before heading back a shady spot he could watch the target from. There were plenty of tree's around, so it didn't take him long.

 

Luna listened to the conversation between John, Aislinn, and Kel. He continued to ask about the three. "You came all this way from a civilized country to new lands and you don't have a sense of adventure? You can't tell me you are like that stiff backed Radcliffe, can you. Always in it for the gold. He thinks there is so much to be had on this new world, but I think there is so much more. Adventure and exploration, nothing to hold me down and definitely no stiff neck parties to attend." Luna listened as John gave his two cents on Radcliffe. She kept silent for a bit as they were walking. John had then leaped onto a rock. He had spoke of what he was sailing for, passion burning in his eyes. He seemed really passionate about what he wanted to do with his life. She smiled a bit as he spoke. "That sounds like fun. If that is what you want to do, then you should do it!" Luna clapped her hands together as she spoke to the man. Aislinn had then spoke up. "I guess the adventure is always fun. You are lucky when you can. I don't think my sister would be able to do anything like this ever again, not with two little ones. And while I long to see them again, I am not tied to home to care for them. I should just enjoy my time here." Aislinn had smiled as she spoke her words. Luna smiled as well before speaking. "Sometimes nature can make us forget about the problems that weigh down on our shoulder and I think that's wonderful. Though I feel like with places such as this, it makes me kind of reassure myself of my goals and helps me find myself again." She smiled as she looked up into the trees.

Secluded in a heavily wooded area within view of the target, A strange wolf wearing local clothing stared up at Steel innocently. Steel himself merely stared back for a good several minutes before pulling out his phone and typing away at it. It took him a few minutes, but he spoke up as soon as he got what he was looking for.

"I'm seeing a lot of mixed results, but it's a consensus that wolves aren't native to the Hawaiian Islands." The wolf, of course, had nothing to say to this. After all, it wasn't as if the overall lack of explanation for it's being there meant that it somehow wasn't.

Kel shrugged off the comparison to him and Radcliff. Adventure was just never really a high priority to him when compared to other things. Either way John was clearly enjoying himself as he'd gone out of his way to hop onto a rock and pose in the wind. Kel actually chucked at the sight right as the wind had picked up. Maybe Luna had a point, there was a seemingly relaxed air among them despite John still holding his gun. "I'm starting to see what you mean there Luna."

 

Luna looked over to Kel as he spoke to her. She smiled as he was starting to understand what Luna has been saying about nature. John had then opened up his mouth to speak up again. "But you have got it right little lady, nothing beats being out in nature like this, adventuring, finding new lands, and new treasures, fighting the savages." Luna was still a little uneasy about the whole 'savages' thing. She didn't want to call them that until she had seen them with her own eyes. "M-maybe we might not have to fight them. Maybe they're kinder than what you've seen. Never judge a book by its cover, as they say." Luna was hoping John would be able to keep an open mind about them until they have seen one or a few. She kept walking around with the others as they continued their conversation.

No matter how many times Kel heard that word, he was still having troubles actually picturing these indians as 'savages'. His own head canon would fit the name better, but seemed out of place for this world as well as odd given they weren't in the process of defending themselves right now. So far they seemed to be doing a good job in leading John away from where they assumed the indians were. "By the way, what is the 'Virginia Company' you mentioned earlier?" He also had no idea what 'Virgina' was either, but hopefully that would be answer while his first question was answered.

As the dog they were following let out a shrieking noise, Stratos winced a bit, seeing the glass break a bit at the sound. Looking to Aux he said, "well, I don't think that's quite the destructive we were looking for. But, well," the boy seemed to shrug as the people and the dog started to move. Following after them, Stratos briefly broke off from the rest of the group for a few moments, though wasn't gone long. When he got back, the group was now in front of a hotel, prompting the boy to say, "well, now what do we do? If they go in we can't exactly maintain subtlty if we just follow after them."

 

Flipping through the magazine, Ananta followe the group absently. She looked up now and again to make sure she wasn't seperated, of course, but other than that she was totally engrossed in this thing. Determined to figure out an outfit that would help her fit in almost anywhere, Ananta was beginning to settle on something when that blue dog made a noise. Looking up from her magazine, Ananta looked at the hotel they were now standing in front of. "Well, we can always stay outside. We don't really need to go inside, after all...besides, I think that older woman's the reason they're going to all these places anyway." she said, nodding at the older girl leading the trio they were following.

"Oh dear, there he goes again..." Ananta mumbled, tucking the magazine away and following after Aux. She certainly didn't like how unsubtle he was being, but she couldn't stop the guy. She ended up standing next to him as they watched the older woman talk to the receptionist about finding a job. "Ouch..." Ananta said, realizing they were basically spying on a woman looking for a job. A young girl approached Aux and Ananta glanced between the two before Aux got this look on his face. Ananta reached over and put a hand on his arm. "Calm down, big guy, you can't cause a scene here." she spoke low to him. She may have been shorter than Aux, but she knew if push came to shove....

Well hopefully it didn't. "Well, little one, if you know who we are, mind keeping it a secret for us? We'd hate to be...discovered." she said, a smile spread across her face.

Steel, not wanting to put himself in the middle of a hotel of all places whilst wearing such conspicuous clothing, decided to sneak around in the abundant vegetation by the windows. He was able to get a good look inside at the others having some kind of conversation with the little girl. Aux seemed to be getting mad at her though.

"Let's hope they won't blow it." He muttered to his side, where the wolf that had started following him now sat. Its response was merely a large yawn that showed off all of its sharp teeth rather nicely.

"Yeah, me too."

"So its like a guild then." Under that reasoning, Kel put together that this 'Virginia' place was where it was located at. Then his statement afterwards caused Kel to raise an eyebrow. If the savages were only to be involved if they got in the way, then why was he going around with a weapon in his hand. He hadn't heard any sounds that would imply someone was nearby and he has been keeping both an eye and an ear out for those kinds of things. "This seems more like you're hunting them. If they stay out of the way to mind their own business, why not do the same and look for gold?"

 

Luna walked along with the group as they continued the conversation. Kel had then asked John about this 'Virginia Company'. John had explained what exactly it was. Apparently, this company had hired John and his men to come to this land and acquire some gold. Luna nodded her head as she listened to his explanation. Aislinn had then brought up an interesting question. "Why does the so called Savages have to be involved?" Luna was actually a little curious. If all they were doing was looking for gold, why involve the Indians? They have nothing to do with their job. She was a little concerned. Kel had also brought up another interesting question. "This seems more like you're hunting them. If they stay out of the way to mind their own business, why not do the same and look for gold?" Luna nodded as she looked at John. She wanted to know why John was more concerned about them and not the gold they were sent to find. "It'll be easier on you and your men and it will be just as easy on the Indians. There's no reason to get them involved and start a fight with them." Luna held her arm as she spoke to him.
