Video Game: Kingdom Hearts SOS: The Road To Light

Luna was still a little lost in thoughts until she realized the group had stopped. She turned around and looked over as Kel had pointed out a strange marking. She looked at it for a little bit while the others were trying to decipher just what it was. Strange...Yet very intriguing...Luna was very curious about the marking. The others had thrown around ideas about it. Perhaps it was sign that it was hunting grounds or perhaps it was marker for whoever made to find their way back home? Who knows? Maybe it was a warning sign? No one could say. Luna started to walk around the area to find anymore markings. "There might be more markings like that around. I could be wrong though. But it wouldn't hurt to look around." Luna continued to look around to see if that same marking was on any other trees. There weren't anymore as Luna was looking, perhaps it was in plain sight or perhaps she missed a spot.

Kel continued to further examine the symbol, trying to see any connection as to what it could be. The others had made their own guesses, which made sense as well. "Well we got time I think." The sun wasn't exactly setting and the sky didn't look red so they had to have some form of time before nightfall. "Let's see if we can find anymore around here." Kel walked away from the first tree and went to the tree right next to it. He found...nothing. This wasn't going to be easy.

When Beuce said, 'Your lady awaits,' he was not sure what to say. Ignis was not really his. She was her own. Then Ignis took his hand and began leading him in a dance. He miss stepped a few times but was always steeping were he would not step on Ignis' feet. He would have to keep on trying. He messed up a few times but just kept on stepping in a spot were Ignis' feet would not be. He was about to give up when something came to him about this dancing thing and that was it reminded him of something. Once he had this idea in his head he moved with a grace that he did not have before. Dance had a flow to it just like something else. That was when Ignis said, ''There's definitely something we should do while here, but what exactly is it? I mean, going to the coronation is all well and good, but we should probably do something else too.' He would have shrugged but that did not seem like the best idea to do considering what he was doing at the moment. He had to choice his words carefully. "Well once we get to the Coronation we should try and read the room. You know keep a eye on people and things going on. I am sure it is a big deal to some." At his point just looked at Ignis and wounded how she thought his was fun. This dancing was like fighting in a way. They both had movement. Maybe that was why he was able to pick it up. He did not know. He was trying not to think about it to much. "You know that if the others ever find out about any of this they will not let us live it down." He did not think that the others would find out but you never know. It was at this point that someone had said, 'I must've gotten something wrong. It looks to me like you already have a place you belong. You've got friends like them to keep you goin'.' He smiled at the woman would had no clue what she was taking about. From what he could tell the group was just a teen group of misfits. Sure the others may think that they were family with each other but he was not sure if he belong in that family. The group probably knew each other for about a year now if he had to guess. He had just shown up one day and the first person who talked to him other then Hikaru was Kaida. They had know each other for so long. He was just there and did not want to do anything because of that. He then continued to dance. He knew the dance had to come to a end at some point. He knew in the movies how it ended but he was not about to do that. It felt wrong in a way. "Whatever the case may be at the coronation we should keep a eye and stay close if possible to the 'hearts' of those there." It felt odd talking in code but what could he do about it. As the dance came to close to the end he was not sure how to end said dace.

Beuce stood up from his seat, getting the gist of what his companions were trying to say. They needed to discuss the plan for what they were going to do at the coronation in private so they could get to the heart of the matter. Beuce turned one last time to the hairdresser and gave her a smile. "Thanks for your help." The woman returned his expression and stood up to give him a pat on the shoulder. "Don't mention it. I hope things work out between you and the princess, and for anything you do in the future." The keyblade master nodded, before pulling out the munny he'd taken from his pouch earlier. "No no, The haircuts were on the house. I like you kids." Well, he wasn't going to force the munny at her, so he turned to leave the shop. "Good luck." She called out one last time before they left. ​

Aislinn did have a point and to be honest he was having doubts about them the moment John Smith had given that very unconvincing description on what a 'savage' was. From what he could tell they had done nothing to warrant being called that. "I'm not opposed to the idea of leading them away, but" He paused to look at another tree, inspecting its entirety before looking back to Aislinn as he'd found nothing on the tree. "what if he decides not to follow us, they, well Ratchilffe, already doubts us. I don't know, its not like we can just scare him away."

 

Luna stopped her search and regrouped with the others. Aislinn had then walked over to her and Kel and began to talk quietly. Aislinn was quite concerned about whether or not to continue toward this 'Indian' village, if there was one. "Look at his weapon, he could do serious damage to someone with that, and if he plans to use it just because they don't live the same way? I am not saying turn on John Smith or anything, we don't know enough for that yet, but part of me hopes that we don't run into these Indians. Perhaps... maybe we can lead him away from them if that is okay with you two? Just if we find more symbols, go the opposite direction instead." She had a point. Luna herself was a bit concerned about John's weapon. His weapon could probably do more harm than it appears. She nodded along as Aislinn spoke. Kel had then spoke up in response. "what if he decides not to follow us, they, well Ratchilffe, already doubts us. I don't know, its not like we can just scare him away." He also brought up a good point. It was definitely quite the conundrum. To continue on the search for this village or to lead him away from it? Aislinn had then suggested that they try to lead him away by saying she had found another mark. Luna walked along with Aislinn, hoping John Smith would follow them as well.

As Beuce attempted to pay for their haircuts, Ignis took that cue to finish letting AJ have some practice and let go, waving to the hairdresser and walking out the door. It seemed like they had managed to kill a little bit of time, as the sun seemed a fair amount lower than before. It wasn't quite evening yet, but the sky was certainly getting close to a golden color.

"So," Ignis started, as she tried to think on what to do, "We have the clothes to blend in, but aside from finding...whoever it is we need, what are we going to do? It's not like we can just run off with someone important."

 

Steel shrugged... again. "Sounds good to me." He hadn't really felt like talking about his family anyway. "With that out of the way then, I don't think it's too wise to dismiss the subject as a non-threat just yet." He chided as Ananta flipped through her magazine. "While it's certain he's not quite up to senselessly attacking as they made out, it still hasn't exactly been threatened. Just because it won't attack blindly, doesn't mean it's not powerful: Just as every bit as smart as their other warning. Rember that bit? Thinking faster than a supercomputer? It can surely learn... though just what it's picked up on is quite the question of its own."

 

Luna continued to follow along with the group. As John and Aislinn continue their conversation, Luna continued looking around her for any markings that could be around them. John had then asked the group what they were all doing here. Luna gave herself a few moments to think about what exactly she was going to say to him. "Well....We were just floating down the river. No set course really. Though, if you don't mind..." Luna paused before continuing. "Do you mind putting away that umm...that weapon? I don't feel too comfortable with it so out in the open. We're not in danger so..." Luna awkwardly scratched her arm as she asked her question. She still kept her eyes peeled out for any marks.

"Pretty much what she said, we just decided to go for a boat ride and ended up running into you." Kel added. It sounded believable enough given the circumstances. "What about you? These so called "savages" Kel provided his own air quotes for this one. "can't be the sole reason in which your here." By this point Kel had moved his hands into his pocket, giving off a slightly relaxed air while they continued with their plan.

 

"I suppose you're right." she spoke, flipping through more pages. She folded over the edge of a page and smiled. She continued to look through the magazine until a loud noise could be heard. Ananta looked up and over at the blue dog to see it happily playing the guitar...until it broke windows. Covering her ears before the worst could happen, Ananta prepared herself and was lucky to not receive any type of damage. Opening her eyes once more, she removed her hands and followed after them, tucking her magazine away into her endless pocket. Of course she grabbed Steel to drag him along since he had a problem going anywhere without help.

"I didn't mean your clothes were terrible Aux, I just thought the ones in the magazine would be a nice alternative." she spoke. "I even found ones I thought Stratos, Kaida, and even Steel might like. Just something fun, not like they gotta wear them." Ananta glanced backwards at Steel, letting go of his arm.

Once they'd found a sufficiently secluded area, Beuce let out a breath. "We're not here to take them away, but more to make sure no one else does. Obviously we can't just whisk them away against their will. We just need to be close enough to keep an eye on them. Elsa and Anna were both names on the lists of princesses of heart. We need to protect them at all costs." Beuce said, giving a general summary of the situation. "Honestly it might not be a bad idea to just get friendly with them. That way we can be close without drawing too much attention to ourselves. I think our best bet to get close to them would be at the dance. We can't just walk in and march straight up to the princesses to shoot the breeze, but I imagine they'll be dancing." Beuce paused, giving thought to the situation "It's a coronation, right? So one of the two of them is becoming Queen.That hairdresser thought I was here to marry one of the princesses. If both of them were apparently an option, that means there isn't a king right now to take up their attention. So that means they'll probably be dancing among the masses with no one in particular, which means we're pretty likely to get some time to talk to them. Just have to make them like us enough to have us hang around afterwards. Easy." ​

When Ignis let go he was not expecting it and he was surprised. Well that was one way to end a dance. It was nice of her to even dance with him in the first place that said he did not like it. He walked out of the shop after Beuce had tried to pay. They soon walked to a secluded area. 'We have the clothes to blend in, but aside from finding...whoever it is we need, what are we going to do? It's not like we can just run off with someone important.' "Why would we do that? They are far safer somewhere, were more people can see them. I know that if someone wanted to take them away or do something the best thing to do would be to do it when no one was around or looking." "Well the Duke did not seem to know anything about them that said he is after something. So if we keep him away somehow then he can not do anything." "Well we do have to find a way off of here and a boat is the best thing to use, that said they are not just going to give a boat away." 'It's a coronation, right? So one of the two of them is becoming Queen.That hairdresser thought I was here to marry one of the princesses. If both of them were apparently an option, that means there isn't a king right now to take up their attention.' "Wait you do not think that is the Dukes plans to marry one of them? He is old as dirt by the looks of things, so it seems odd to me." So we should act like we are interested in the princesses?, he thought. He was not to found of the concept that said Beuce and him would probably have a better chance talking to the princesses if that was what they were after. Beuce had made this whole plan seem like it was a walk in the park but he knew better. He had been around long enough to know that things were not that easy in fact if he was a betting man he would bet something would go wrong.

Ignis couldn't help but glare at both Beuce and AJ, as they seemed to think that when she talked about running away, she apparently meant abducting the princesses. It kind of annoyed her, but she only sighed and walked toward the castle across the big bridge.

"Well, obviously we're not going to take the princesses anywhere. Sheesh, you guys take things so seriously." She looked at hem both and then pondered on what to do. "So, if you want to get friendly with them, that brings up the question, should we try to do it all at once, or each separate and try to get to know them? I don't know about you, but three people all of a sudden out of nowhere would be a little overwhelming. Plus, having us separated gives us a chance to keep a better watch on the room in three different positions than all of us bundles together."

AJ mentioned something about the duke and Ignis could only scoff at the mention of that man. She couldn't even fathom why he was worried about him. The guy was nothing more than a pointless opportunist who wanted to take advantage of something and increase his own wealth.

"You do know there are other ways of making use of people outside of trying to marry them, right? That guy's more than likely the type to just make use of someone for nothing more than personal gain, and if we're talking about kingdoms, there's also trade, currency, diplomatic relationships, and so on. The only thing we should worry about with that guy is if that hair on his head is real or not." As she stated the sentence, she paused for a moment, trying to keep the mental image of an old man wearing a wig out of her head.

 

Beuce nodded. Splitting up was likely the best option for them. "Yeah. There are also two princesses. That means one of us should be with each of the princesses separately, and another should be there for backup in case something goes wrong. It's a little hard to say who should be with which princess since we know nothing about their personalities. So, we'll decide on that once we get there." ​
