Video Game: Kingdom Hearts SOS: The Road To Light

When Ananta walked over, Kaida stared at her for quite a long time unsure of how to react. She still had the squirrel in her hands but she had tried to hide it when she noticed Ananta was so close. She stared a little while, and it probably looked like she was angry for a minute, but it didn't take too long before Kaida turned towards Ananta and held her hands out clearly as if to give her the whittled squirrel. And she bowed her head in apology and said, "I'm.. sorry... I know my snap was too far. I... feel a bit the same about some of it. But not all of it. And I'm sorry I got you upset. But uh... you need to work a bit on that space thing..." she sighed and looked up and said, "But.. the friend part was untrue. I've just... been annoyed at you watching me looking like a ticking time bomb but... I was working on whittled charms to give to all of my new friends... this one was the one I made for you."

 

Ananta looked down at the squirrel and she smiled. She took the whittled animal and soon replaced it with the yellow flower. "I'm sorry, too, I just...well..I should of given you some space. I just...I just thought maybe you'd want somebody to be there and try to keep your mind off things..." she thought of what to say next and she sighed. "I kind of know why you're angry. I mean, I won't ever know exactly how you feel, but I want to at least try...since I know what it feels like to lose somebody important to you." she said, holding the squirrel close to her chest. "You're not alone, Kaida. You've got me and everyone else. We've all been there, I think...."

She put a hand on Kaida's hand where the flower was and she closed her eyes. "I'll always be there for you. So let me be there to know what's troubling you, okay? I'm a good listener I think...."

Steel sighed, having been left by himself some time back.

"Well, I did very little good there." As he came within view, he saw that Ananta and Kaida seemed to be getting along now. Aux seemed better too. Good, they had taken care of their own problems. That made things convenient. He supposed he had probably gone off a little too soon. He always was something of a control freak though. He smirked to himself as he leaned back against a tree. He stayed out of sight and took to observing the 'dog.' They could have their moment while he kept a close eye on the target.

Well... possible target.

The boy continued to keep his eye on the blue dog, making sure it didn't go anywhere or leave for the moment, and let Kaida and Aux walk off. He looked back to them from time to time, making sure that things were going on, and though he couldn't make out the full of their conversation he could tell things were going well. Once Ananta had come over he was, pleasantly, surprised to see things seemed to be going even better. Walking over to catch up with them, Stratos said, "well, glad to see everyone's made up. It'll do us all better to be on friendly terms with each other right now." Stratos gestured to Aux saying, "even with you big guy. So, how about after we figure out what to with this dog thing, we all go for another round of ice cream. Even with you too, Steel," he called out, not actually having any idea where his Lupine companion was.

 

"Mmm, not always. But I at least understand you were trying to help. I'll consider that next time, but I can't promise you I'll let ya know everything that's troubling me." Kaida shifted her hand up to place the yellow flower back in and she reached into her bag and said, "Yeah, focusing more on the alien is probably a better idea at this rate." she pulled a whittled snake out of her bag first and held it out towards Stratos, "But I wanna give you this first. I made it for you." she looked a bit at it and said, "I hope it wasn't an odd choice, I tried working on scales. I think I did okay."

 

Stratos approached and Ananta smiled. "I'd love to have some more ice cream. And maybe then, Aux could eat his." she said this, glancing off in the direction of the dropped treat. Ananta looked in Aux's hand and saw a a wittled animal too. "Oh, his is a lion. That explains Pridelands." Ananta chuckled, looking to Kaida. "SO far, this blue dog hasn't really seemed that dangerous to me. In fact, he seems more tame. I'm probably stating the obvious when I say I think those two guys were lying to us." She said this and crossed her arms. "But watching the dog for now seems to be a better idea, the only thing he's done is destroy some watermelon as far as I can tell."

The boy looked at the snake, as Kaida gave it to him. Seeing the serpent charm in his hand, the boy began involuntarily smile as he ran his fingers across the rough scale work that Kaida had done on it. After a brief moment, he looked back up at the girl and, realizing that he had been spacing out a bit, said, "o-oh. Man, this is great. I don't think I ever thought of myself as a snake person before, but this is cool enough that I think I can reconsider that. Really, thanks. It means a lot." With a smile on his face, the boy examined the charm once more, and then went to seemingly examine the trees around him. When Ananta spoke once more, he looked back and said, "oh, yeah. Well, those guys seemed to be talking to themselves a lot when we came in anyway, so I doubt they were giving us the full story. I wouldn't particularly say it's harmless, but I suppose we should make sure nothing bad happens to or because of it for now."

 

Luna looked up to see Kel, Aislinn, and John arrive. They must have heard her scream. She felt a hand on her shoulder. She had been a little startles before looking up to see the hand belong to Aislinn. "A-Aislinn...Kel..." Aislinn had then spoke to her. "Is this why you screamed? You know this is part of the circle of life right?" The girl nodded her head before standing up. Aislinn had then spoke once more. "We should keep going. There is nothing we can do about it now after all." Kel had then responded soon after she spoke. "Aislinn is right, we can't do anything for it now." Luna nodded before going over and begin digging a little bit. "Even so....I-I kind of feel bad for it. Even knowing that. I kind of at least want to bury it. I at least want to give this deer that respect instead of just leaving it like this. I'm sorry. You guys can go on ahead. I just want to give this deer a burial place." Luna continued digging out a hole to place the deer in.

Luna stopped what she was doing as Aislinn whispered to her. "Luna. Look, someone killed it. They are probably going to come back for it. It might be someone's food, I am sorry but I don't think we can bury it. That wouldn't be right to take away someone else's food. Maybe the person just went to get someone to help them bring the deer back." Luna took a step back before looking back at the deer. After a few moments of thinking and reflecting, she tried to cleaning her hands from the dirt. After a few moments, she looked back at Aislinn before opening her mouth. "You're right. I-I don't know what I was thinking. I-I'm sorry. Let's get going before the hunters come back." Luna started to walk off ahead. She honestly didn't know what came over her. She had been camping plenty of times and she knew her father would be hunting for dinner so it shouldn't have had a impact on her. Though why did it have such a huge impact now? Maybe it's been so long since the family's last camping trip? She didn't know nor could she know.

Kel glanced around before returning his attention back to Luna. He hadn't heard anything rustling near them so nothing had gotten there yet, but they couldn't stick around long if someone was on the way. He tried to think of some way to compromise seeing that Luna was in the process of digging a hole to bury the deer. It wasn't needed though as Luna herself had stopped digging and walk on ahead. "Wait up." Kel picked up his pace to be walking along side her. "Not a good idea to be going off on by yourself right now."

 

Steel heard Stratos shouting something about him and ice cream. Really, he'd probably just make a mess. Processed sugar was also sort of horribly bad for canines. He should probably let everyone know where he was at... even if he was like to draw attention the second broad daylight hit him. He headed out of the tree's and toward his party members, but he was thinking more about the 'dog' at the moment. It hadn't really hurt anyone yet, but that didn't mean it wouldn't try, but the fact it was doing anything else was points against the story told by the two gentlemen on the beach. If it was really hardwired for pure destruction with no other instinct, it probably wouldn't be engaging in experiments like dancing in the market. Still, flawed observations did not for an innocent individual make, and Steel continued to keep a close eye on the subject as he stood silently by his party members.

 

Luna looked over to see Kel run over to her. "Wait up." Once he caught up to her, he spoke once again. "Not a good idea to be going off on by yourself right now." Luna nodded her head as she continued walking. She looked up into the sea of trees as she tried to clear her mind. She was still a little concerned about just how she allow herself to not come to reason. It still rattled her brain. She let out a small sigh before taking a deep breath. She continued walking alongside Kel, Aislinn, and John. Hopefully they would be able to find what these Indians before the sun went down.

Stratos raised an eyebrow as Aux told him not to call him big guy, only to ask for his name. With a small grin on his face, Stratos put the snake charm in his other hand as he extended his free hand out for a shake. "It's Stratos. S-T-R-A, T-O-S. Stratos. A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Aux." Stratos didn't mean to be sarcastic in his introduction to Aux, though he couldn't feel he was coming off as such. After that was done with, he said, "anyway, if he's any bit dangerous then I'm sure a situation will arise where we can swoop in a stop whatever trouble's going on. That'll be a nice way to enter into the scene. Though, I guess wishing for something bad to happen is a pretty terrible plan."

 

Beuce put his hand on the woman's waist, as instructed. The woman took hold of it and adjusted it to the proper position. After which she began to take a few steps. Beuce did his best to follow, but inevitably stepped on her foot. She winced momentarily, but simply took up the position with him again and repeated the process. After a few times, Beuce appeared to be getting the hang of it and began to mess it up far less. "You're a quick learner." She complimented. Fairly soon, Beuce heard a voice at the window and looked over to see Ignis. "Friend of yours?" asked the hairdresser.

"Yeah. Hold on a sec. Do you mind if I let her in?" The hairdresser nodded and Beuce walked over to open the door for her. "Well, she offered to give me dance lessons before the coronation and I figured it certainly couldn't hurt."

He still there watching Beuce dance. "Is it really that nessacary to learn how to dance for this coronation?", he asked the woman. There was still the look of fear in his eyes for this dancing. He stood there for a long moment before looking at the woman once more. "Do you mind if I get my hair cut?" At this point he had been running his hand through his hair and was just felling how long it had become. At some point Beuce had let Ignis into the shop.

Ignis was let into the store by Beuce, who apparently was being given dance lessons by the hairdresser. She almost had to laugh at the scene of it, seeing him step on toes. Though she doubted she'd be much better, to be honest. As AJ stayed in his corner, Ignis sighed a little.

"You do realize a lot of parties have dancing right? It may not be fun, but take my word for it, if we don't want to stick out, it's best we learn how to blend into this party." With that she took Beuce's hand and walked to the center of the store. "Okay, let's see what you've got so far. I may not enjoy it, but that didn't stop my sister to try and teach me something."
