    Koa saw how weak it was getting with each strike it was dealt. He smiled a little bit. "Just a bit more!!" He pulled apart his spear and made two swords. He ran up and continued his onslaught against the enemy. With each slash, the demon tide was struggling to even move a muscle. He knocked off each shadow that was attempting to reform the tide. He headed straight for the core as he reformed his spear. He pierced through the core several more time before getting one last strike. "It's practically on its last breath!!"

    Karina stopped, stopped fighting, and just looked at Arctus. "I don't write... but I do have my own ways of coping. Though I don't know where the hell it is anymore." She stated to him not knowing how to deal with what he had said next, she looked away from him before responding to him again. "Maybe it wasn't but I don't know what it meant. At the time I just wanted to stop the random jabbering but why I used a kiss. I don't know. I just don't know anything anymore okay? Everything has been a mess since I lost use of my keyblade, so leave it at that." He wouldn't, she knew he wouldn't, and perhaps it was for the best, perhaps he would have a solution for her own mind, but for now she just... she was breaking and Arctus wasn't helping. Perhaps it was what she needed, to break before she could rebuild, but she didn't know how to handle it at this moment, it just kind of left her stunned.

    With one last swing of his blade he brought down the Demon Tide and grinned brightly. "YES. DOWN GOES THE BEAST. I HAVE BESTED YOU IN SINGLE COMBAT. ME. I ALONE HAVE-" He looked over at Karina and laughed nervously, stabbing his sword into the ground as he looked down. "Uh...right...sorry...uh...okay. Coping. Right." He looked over at the empty space where the Tide used to be, feeling a slight sense of pride. "You should find a better way to deal with it than...whatever it is you're doing. Maybe we can talk more after this is all over. Normally. Promise."

    The girl paused as Koa charged past her, striking at it with twin swords. As he followed up his strike into it, she merely said, "just one more push." Charging towards the dark sphere of the heartless, she began to charge towards the demon tide's exposed core. Striking with one punch after the other, she was beginning to cause clear breaks in the skin of the dark core, with darkness beginning to seep out of it. In one final blow, she managed to break the surface of it, leaving it one blow away from breaking apart. Launching the core harmlessly away from her, she said, "finish it."

    The demon tide was barely clinging on as the two ruthlessly slashed at it. He knew a couple more strikes against it were going to be the end of it. He ran over to the core once again and muster a bit more strength and ruthlessly attacked it once more. He saw the core lowering itself down to the ground as it was getting very weak. It made it much easier to strike against it. He pierced the core several more times before leaping into the air. "Finish it!" He nodded before readying the spear for its descent. "With pleasure!!" As he made his descent, he felt the spear come in contact with the core. "It's over!!" With that last strike, the core had vanished. He landed back onto the ground. He let out a sigh of relief as the fight was over. "Good work Aeira!" He raised his hand for a high five as he smiled.

    Well at least their target was dead and Arctus took a lot more pride in that than any normal person should. Either way she waited until he was done his gloating and turned back to her, wordlessly until he spoke to her. "My way works fine, or as fine as journaling would." She informed him before turning to look at Uniform. "You say that like there is ever a break from trials and hardship. When you find one that we can talk normally, let me know. For now I have a bigger issue to deal with." Karina then turned away from Arctus and started to run over towards Uniform. "This is my fight." She claimed as she neared and prepared her weapon to attack him.

    Arctus rolled his eyes and sighed out loudly while watching Karina run off after another bad guy to fight when they could have waited around and had a nice chat while waiting for more Heartless to fling themselves at the two. He lingered behind for a bit, wondering what she meant by having a way to cope and feeling curious as to what might have been in...whatever was as good as a journal. "No rest for the wicked I guess." The Demon Tide the others had been fighting had also been destroyed and he was left wondering just how many seconds he should give Karina for a head start to whatever vendetta she was going for next.

    "Think I've waited long enough..." None of this was a good idea but neither was trying to convince Karina to accept a pet Shadow from him as a present. Arctus took off after Karina. If things were going to go south for Karina then they would go south together.

    Finally broke out a pair of glasses and put them over his red nose. He looked to Karina and Arctus as they ran away. He put his axes away knowing the demon tides were destroyed. He put his hands together and breathed deeply as he got his much needed dose of battle before returning to a serene demeanour. "Well I feel like we've made some some real progress today." He looked to the rest of the group. "We done here then?"

    Over with The dark side, Aux went straight for the darkaides legs and performed a combo.

    Aux used a ground combo.

    The pun that Aux had made did count in his opinion. Kaida mumbled to herself and he looked over to her. He thought that it was best to have some fun when you could because you could never know when the next time would be. Kaida then said, 'I'm surprised you jumped in on the puns though. You don't seem like the kind of guy to jump in on a group gag.' He shruged at it at first. He did not really thinking about it. "I have to find some way to entertain myself. It was what I had to do on my homeworld. With no one to talk to for the most past and I had to be always looking over my shoulder." At the mere mention of his homeworld his face changed to that of sadness. "No time for that now." Brushing off the thought. "We have a battle to focus on." Stratos and Kaida had already attacked the red darkside heartless. Ignis then said to Kaida, 'I don't know what you're grumbling about. Puns are just the lowest form of humor, and I prefer not to hear them.' Did the girl not know that you had to have fun some of the time? He just let it go. It was not worth getting into. He then watched Ignis walk up to Aux oh this was not going to be good. She then proceeded to poke him aggressively. Well that was probably not a good thing to do. Ignis continued with, 'And I don't care if that was intentional or not, if you're going to side with me, do it properly, or keep that trap zipped so you keep yourself from looking like a buffoon.' He let out a sigh and turned his attention to the darkside. He guessed that sometimes you had to go with the flow. He thought that now was the best option to do something. He need to attack with something and soon water came out of his keyblade.

    Well, so much for attempting conversation with AJ in the battle. Since he was more focused on the battle itself. She wasn't exactly sure what was different about this fight and the battles before it. But that didn't matter, when Ignis mentioned puns being the lowest form of comedy Kaida said, "I disagree with that. You know what I think is the lowest? Deadpan comedy. Or even anti-humor. Or a mixture." Kaida shivered and noticed the darkside charging up some sort of attack and she mumbled, "Well that looks like it's gonna end in hurt... alright then." Kaida felt like she needed to end the battle faster, and in that moment her body seemed to agree and in an instant, her speed aura was activated. Kaida swirled her keyblades and seeming to be even faster than she normally was, she dualcasted fireballs and they launched at the darkball with a much faster velocity.

    After the attacks had gone through, Stratos looked over to Ignis, shaking his head in disagreement saying, "nah see, the lowest form of humor is going to be this guy, six feet under when we're done with him." After stating this, he heard both AJ and Luna say how they needed to focus on the fight at hand, and Stratos said, "well, you heard the two. This isn't the time for jokes Ignis." Following Kaida's lead, the boy took a deep breath as he focused, hearing all the sound of the world around him. As he did so, an fuchsia colored aura appeared around him as he said, "alright, let's break it down." Twirling both of his keyblades, the boy once again launched two orbs of fire from it, sending them straight towards the dark side.

    Stratos used Sound Aura and Dualcasted Firaga (x2)

    With the demon tide having been felled, Aeira seemed both scratched and scuffed up from the fight. All the same, she was still standing strong, and looked around to see that the keyblade wielders were also fighting the darksides pretty handily at the moment. As she was about to charge after Karina and Arctus to aid them, she looked over to Koa as he congratulated her. Looking at his extended hand, the girl seemed a bit awkward as she said, "um, yeah. Good work too." Raising up her hand, she moved to give Koa what he would probably consider the most awkward high five had ever received, as if the girl wasn't even sure what she was supposed to be doing. After that odd exchange was over she said, "now let's go." With that, she ran towards Uniform with the other black coat members.

    As Stratos talked about the heartless and them putting it six feet under, Ignis could only cock her head to the side, wrapping her head around the joke he tried to make. Failing that, she got annoyed as he seemed to put the whole joke nonsense on her and let loose some flames all over her body. As Stratos let loose his flames against the Darkside, she jumped forward the heartless and knocked it around with another combo of hers and then jumped back. As she did she walked over to Stratos and knocked him on the head with her fist. "Next time you try to place the blame for something on me that was your fault for continuing, you're going to wish you had Heartless instead of me to deal with."

    The first thing that Kaida said, to Ignis, 'I disagree with that. You know what I think is the lowest? Deadpan comedy. Or even anti-humor. Or a mixture.' As long as you got enjoyment out of something and it was not hurting anyone he did not see the issue. The red darkside heartless seemed to be changing some sort of attack. This was not good. Stratos then said, 'nah see, the lowest form of humor is going to be this guy, six feet under when we're done with him.' He did not think that Stratos met literally because he did not think it would be possible to bury something so large. Stratos continued with, 'well, you heard the two. This isn't the time for jokes Ignis.' He was more so talking about talking about his homeworld but he srugged it off and looked onto the red darkside heartless. He took a glance over at Ignis. He watched as she walked over to Stratos and knocked him on the head with her fist and said, 'Next time you try to place the blame for something on me that was your fault for continuing, you're going to wish you had Heartless instead of me to deal with.' He was not sure what was wrong with this woman. "So just because you are angry you have to hit someone?" There was a darkside right there so he did not see why Ignis could not just go over to that and attack the darkside if she felt the need to push something. He did not know Stratos that well but there were other ways. You have words for a reason use them, he thought. It was like dealing with a child that did not get what they wanted. He hated seeing someone get hurt and if he had to he would defend them. He walked over to Stratos once Ignis was gone. "Are you alright?" While he waited for Stratos to answer he heed to prepare for the battle and wind armor came around him.

    The lack of a response that they had gotten from the darkside after all of their attacks was concerning. Instead of possibly over thinking about it, Kel instead went in for another attack. Unlike last time his attack was nothing fancy, but just a simple combo.
