Luna felt a strong presence show up. She looked behind her and the man had summoned even more powerful heartless. "How can he summon all these heartless?!" Before Luna blinked, she saw a demon tide headed straight for her and Koa. There was no time to react as the demon tide split the two apart, knocking Luna over to the other side of the area. "Luna!!" As she went flying, she heard Koa call her name She tried to reach for his hand as she called out. "Koa!!" She landed onto the ground tumbling onto the sand. She got up and saw an enormous Darkside in front of her. Luna immediately got onto her feet as she saw that she wasn't alone in fighting this Darkside. She summoned her blade and watched as Kaida, Stratos, and Ignis make their moves while still coming up with some puns. She turned to Ignis and spoke. "We can talk about the puns later. Right now, we need to take down this thing. Alright?" The tip of her blade had started to turn blue. She then aimed and immediately casted her spell. "Freeze!!"

Koa had seen that Aeira had arrived to help him. He nodded his head as Aeira had begun her onslaught against the demon tide in front of them. He grabbed his spear once more and ran up to the demon tide. He pierced through several shadows that had made up a part of the demon tide. He continued to do that several times with his spear. Koa leaped into the air and made a huge slash down a side of the demon tide. Several shadows had fell out of the tide and started disappeared one-by-one.

With her arm being freed from the tide as the rest of its body went into the ground, the girl looked behind her as it launched itself out once more. Shaking her arm, being a bit sore from what she had just done, the girl continued to track just what the demon tide was going to do next. As it spun in the air, it then dove back straight into the ground underneath it, sicking into the darkness below. Wondering what was about to happen, the girl felt a rumbling underneath her, as the demon tide forced itself out from the ground underneath the girl, taking her a bit by surprise. As she was pushed up into the air the girl was getting torn up a bit by the heartless, but taking her arm to the core, she punched at it knocking herself out of the tide.

Aux looked upward at the darkside, cracking his knuckles in the process. "They just never learn." He summoned his keyblade in one hand before listening in about Luna mentioning to save their puns for later. "I hate puns." Leaping into the air, he pulled back his shoulder she approached back his shoulder. With the fist he wasn't holding the keyblade in, he punched the darkside with a flaming punch that knocked the darkside back in a contained explosion, as he landed back onto the ground. "Never a big enough punch line."

He looked up realizing he just used the word punch after punching an enemy. He looked back before saying; "That doesn't count."

He had somehow taken a large amount of heartless out fighting alone. How he had manged to do it he was still not completely sure of. Hughes summoned three darksides heartless and three demon tides. Well the battle was not over yet. The red colored darkside heartless was the closest to him. At this point he was free to move about from the spot he had been the whole fight. He felt tired and he was still glade that there were no mirrors in the realm of darkness. He did not want to know what he looked like. He spotted Aux, Ignis, Kaida, Luna, and Stratos not to far off. It was time for another battle. The battle was escalating far too quickly and he wondered how much more Hughes would push the group. It was nice to see people after fighting alone for so long. That was when kaida said, 'Hope you guys are ready for this to get... electrifying.' He was not sure what he was he was ready for if he was being truthful. At this point he figured that this was probably the best time to summon his keyblade. He thought about it and the keyblade appeared. He knew that it was going to be nice to fight with a keyblade. He also knew that fighting with others was going to be nice after the last three waves of fighting alone. That was when, Stratos said, 'I think things are more likely to get a bit hot in here.' Then Ignis followed up with, 'So are you two going to make bad puns every time you attack?' "We have to have some fun somehow." It was not like doing puns was hurting anyone. At this point he was just happy to see anyone so he did not mind the puns. That was when Aux said, 'Never a big enough punch line.' Then he said 'That doesn't count.' He just smiled at Aux. "Well I say it is time to have a explosive battle." With that said and done he thought about what he wanted and mines showed up.

Speaking of punching, local resident super hero of the punching task force, Black Coats 05 Aeira was on the scene in bringing down the giant enemy demon tide. After punching its weak point for some solid damage, the girl fell back onto the ground, kicking up off of it to get back into a standing position. The fight itself was already nearing its halfway mark, whereas the fight with the darksides had hardly seemed to start. Cracking her knuckles, the girl began to run towards the demon tide, flying through the air as it was. With great force, the girl jumped into the air, landing on the tide itself and beginning to ride the wave of heartless. While her balance was incredibly suspect on the creature, the girl began to run from one end to the next, trying to get to the bulbous dark core at the head, stomping on the shadows that acted as platforms as she made her way over to it.

Aeira continued to strike forward against the demon tide, as she was running along top of it. With each stomp, she managed to take out one more shadow, one after the after other as she got closer to the core of the tide. As she did, however, the bridge the heartless made seemed to come apart, as the tide split itself in half. Seeing that she was on the falling end of the demon tide, the girl began to sprint forward, trying to make her way all the way to the head before it fell. As she got to the end of the heartless bridge, she jumped forward, landing on the demon tide's core and delivering one hefty punch into it. As she did, the tide shook and shuddered a bit, causing the girl to then fall of and make her way back to the ground. As she landed, she looked up to the heartless, seeing it was clear that the damage had been done to it.

Arctus then performed a quadruple backflip and punched the Demon Tide with his leg. No, he didn't do that. He wished he did though. "I. Am not. Sulking!" Arctus shouted, lifting his blade up high into the sky and bringing it down in a heavy swing that caused ripples in the fabric of space-time. His gravity magic ripped into the Demon Tide and sheared off several Shadows just as the mass of Heartless swerved to the side to avoid the concentrated center of the magical attack. Arctus blinked and breathed out. "Huh. ...That was new. ...So...what were you saying about sulking? That if I do it more you'll come closer?"

Kaida giggled a bit when Stratos joined in on the puns, and was immediately shut down by Ignis over the puns. What? It wasn't like she was dancing or doing something that wasn't fighting. She just spoke, that was a free action she was pretty sure. When Luna seemed to be more hyper-focused on the boss she let it go, but then Aux made an accidental pun. Kaida grinned and said, "That counts that totally counts!" and then AJ joined in on the puns and Kaida said, "See? Even AJ know how to make a good pun and not complain that 'this isn't the time'. Don't get your bottoms in a bunch." The blonde twirled her keyblade and mumbled, "It's like no one has time for games anymore. All busy and 'not the time'. No Kaida, let's not throw some excitement in though some of us were singing earlier when surrounded by hordes. Gotta plan. All plans no games, like we're not just kids in soldier positions... grr..." then Kaida pointed at the darkside and shouted, "Firaga!" as dualcast activated, another fireball flew on our of her other keyblade and that threw off Kaida minute, though it really shouldn't have, and she backed up and looked at AJ, "I'm surprised you jumped in on the puns though. You don't seem like the kind of guy to jump in on a group gag."

Rolling her eyes once more, Karina cracked a little bit of a smile. "Sorry I don't like men who sulk to get their way. I would rather just show them up." She let the fire ripple forth as it coated the whip. It was almost like there was fire in Karina's eyes as she turned her attention from Arctus to the Demon Tide. Suddenly with a flair that seemed to be radiating from Karina herself, she was launching at the heartless slashing several times in a row at the tower of heartless before she dropped to the ground, standing in front of the heartless, focusing her breath, the firey energy slowly retreating as she looked back over at Arctus smiling in the slightest, a wicked challenging smile.

Stratos was having a bit of fun as everyone else seemed to join in on the fun of punning at the heartless, twirling both of his keyblades as all of the attacks connected. Looking over to Ignis saying, "see, it's almost definitely the time for them." Looking over to Kaida, the boy was a bit curious as she seemed to be grumbling to herself, saying, "are you alright there?" As Kaida then went for her next attack, the boy looked at the fire sailing through the air saying, "well, if you're gonna do that, then I feel obligated to do this." With lightning charging his keyblades, the boy fired off two large orbs of lightning shouting, "thunderbell!"

Aeira continued to fight against the swarm of heartless, seeing the large swarm of heartless be none too happy with her striking of its core. Charging at the girl, she was ready to meet it head on again, only for the creature to start spinning and orbiting around her. The girl was curious about what was going to happen, but had a pretty clear idea as it started to close in on her, trying to crush her in the swarm. While the swarm managed to completely wrap over her, the girl took a deep breath, seeming to ignore the claws and bodies colliding with her, and merely striking the core of the tide, sending the heartless back reeling.

Arctus was at a loss for witty words. He wasn't in the mood to ramble on and he wasn't sure what to say to poke Karina's buttons to annoy her. But he was in the mood to take her up on her challenge and let a smile show in return. "What about good ol' flattery? Because the way you fight those Heartless is really lighting up my day! ...Get it? Because fire? And light? I don't know. You messed with my groove and I'm trying to find my footing here. Give me a few minutes and I'll figure something out alright? Just lemme do this one thing first." Arctus jumped up into the air rising faster and faster while his magic propelled him through the sky and sliced right through the Demon Tide and came down onto it with a second cut, crashing into the ground and landing on his feet without a scratch.

As the swarm recoiled away from Aeira, the girl continued to press the attack against it, rushing after the demon tide before it could get much higher into the air. Running faster and faster, the girl jumped into the air, right into the front of the demon tide. While she was swallowed by the wave of heartless, she didn't actually go that far into it, and instead reeled back her fist to begin punching into it the large dark core. One after the other, her fist struck into the dark core, causing the tide to convulse in pain, moving about and dropping shadows onto the ground as the full form of the demon tide seemed to be breaking apart. As the tide began to move to crash into the ground, the girl kicked off the core, rolling across the ground as she did so.

Oh that was bad, but at least he was trying. As much as Karina tried to be broody and keep a straight face she didn't know how in this case and just looked away from him for a moment to hide her amusement. "Well at least you aren't completely broken anymore. At least you can talk now." She retorted as she watched him fight. At least, most importantly he was fighting again, that was what they needed to do. They just needed to get through this and protect the SoS people. She had traveled too long with them to watch them die here. When it was her turn, she didn't do anything nearly as extravagant as before but Karina did throw out a fire ball that seared at only the edge of the demon tide, her real damage came from her bursting through the flames and hitting them straight on with strength based attacks. Soon she landed on the other side and found herself facing Arctus once more.

Arctus swung his sword every time the Demon Tide came within reach and felt that this battle had gone on too long. They had made progress but it was just going too slow for him and he was losing ideas on how to creatively deal with the problem. Wait...no he didn't. He held out his palm to rip a Shadow from the Tide using a gravity field and caught it in his hand. Grinning, he held it over towards Karina as the Heartless squirmed and wiggled and tried to break free. It clearly was not enjoying being held as much as Arctus enjoyed squishing it. As the tide was starting to shed more and more heartless, it crashed into the ground, trying to retreat for the time being. As it launched out of the ground and back into the air, far away from Aeira. As it did, the heartless that were around her seemed to glow red, almost in a rage state as they started to rush their way towards the girl. Charging at the girl, the heartless started to move with much more fervor than before, yet Aeira was not deterred in the slightest by it. Clenching her fists tighter, the girl rushed forawrd towards them, punching at the rushing heartless one at a time. With each punch, she managed to defeat the shadows, in spite of their increased force and power, clearing the ground out before turning her attention back to the demon tide.

Karina hadn't remembered the last time she had laughed as much as she had this battle with Arctus, and this just took the cake as she burst out laughing. "Are you kidding me? I might be inclined to take it if it wouldn't try and rip my face off the moment I took him from you." Karina pointed out taking no moving to take the heartless from him. The thing wasn't tame it would want her dead all the time and she didn't know what he was thinking she would do with it. A pet perhaps? What in the world made him think it would be a good pet? Either way there was a lot more where that came from still trying to kill them, so her attention was forced back to the battle as she fended off a couple attacks before making a few more of her own.

The girl started to make a break for the demon tide, sprinting at the demon tide and getting ready to finish the fight. As she made her way over to it, the tide seemed to be much more about avoiding the girl. However, not allowing it to do such a thing, the girl slammed her foot into the ground, creating a few rocks orbiting around her. Firing them into the air, one after the other, the girl began to jump up. Jumping on to each of the rocks, she used them as platform to gain enough height to get onto the demon tide. Once she had reached the maximum height needed, she managed to land on it, bringing her foot down onto the core of the heartless, forcing it further down towards the ground.

Arctus frowned and tossed the Shadow aside like a used napkin. "Hey! It's not my fault you can't train a Shadow!" He grumbled and, using the same technique as before, began ripping Shadows directly out of the Tide, watching as they rained down and bursted into little puffs of black smoke when they crashed into the ground. If Karina wasn't going to accept one as an extreme pet then no one would have one as a super cool pet. Not even him. Especially not him.

As she was now in the air, falling towards the ground as the demon tide did, the girl began to strike back at the heartless swarm as she did. With one foot after the other, she continued kicking into the heartless core, forcing it closer and closer into the ground. As she had eventually managed to slam her feet into it hard enough, the demon tide smashed against the ground. As it did, the girl jumped off the tide, reaching out her hand into the tide itself. Grabbing onto the dark core, the girl, with great force, pulled back and tossed it, sending the heartless core sailing through the air with the shadow heartless trying to helplessly follow after it as it slammed and bounced across the ground.
