With no more heartless to kill, Karina took a quick look around and noticed what Finlay was up to. "For Christ Sakes Finlay, I can't look away for one battle can I? Stop trying to kill the pet and maybe focus more on the heartless. Steel is harmless enough, and if he needs another good beating I can handle that. This is not what I brought you for!" Karina yelled at Finaly not forgetting the big fight with Steel they had when entering the realm of Darkness either.

It was with shock, Steel could admit, that he fell to the ground with Ananta in need of assistance mere feet away. It seemed that Finlay had finally reached him, and at the worst possible time. So while Ananta was shooting him desperate looks for aid, he had two axes at his neck. Charming, this Finlay character. He wasn't exactly one to talk himself of course. Still, Ananta was pretty much right there and the only reason she was safe was that she was lucky enough to not have had her head chopped off when Finlay had been distractedly cleaving everything that was within range as he waited for a response. Having been rendered useless as the fight drifted to an end, Steel sighed once again at the superfluousness that was him.

"I'm an Artisian, and I came with the others. Can I get up now, or is this the part where I become 'a fine trophy mounted on your wall?'" His voice dripped with sarcasm, but he certainly believed that the man above him had the motivation to kill with little reason or provocation. He could fight back, but... well those axes were awfully close, and things happened. It wasn't as if he hadn't died before, but there was a very real possibility that it could be permanent this time.

That just put a damper on everything.

Somehow in the midst of everything, Finlay had managed to defeat the Neoshadow that was gripping Ananta. She finally stood up and took a good, deep breath. Her comrades finally finished off the rest of the heartless and she was left to see Steel get attacked by the strange man. Karina had chided the man, but that wasn't enough. Ananta had a look of anger on her face as Steel tried to nonchalantly get the guy off. She decided to take things into her own hands and she ran towards Finlay. Her leg kicked the axes away and she stood over Steel, her keyblades in her arms and at the ready to defend him. "If you can, Steel, get away while I keep crazy off of you." she said to him.

"Whatever you think Steel is, he's most certainly not that. He's a kind guy and a great friend. I'm proud to say he's even my best friend. I care for him and will protect him with my life. So if you want to fight him, you've got to fight me too. Believe me, I'll hurt a lot more than him, too." she said.

Back in the realm of Light,

No Heart was still sitting at his post in Central Haven. He had taken root of the main Order hall and began to eye the clock as he continued to do his research. Stacks of books were piled in front of him along with smashed computer screens. The screens no doubt being taken out for lack of access given to the master since DJ locked him out of the system. As he tapped his clawed glove against the table, Krowley began to pace behind him. "Operation Pandora should be more or less complete, and we haven't heard word from Auxillius. Why hasn't he reported back yet?!"
"Of that, I'm not sure... Perhaps I put too much faith in him for this instance." No Heart replied, reading away at his material.
"I warned you that he's stubborn. Just like his mother." Krowley too was growing impatient as his pacing grew more relentless.
"Your concern is unnecessary. If he still has the remnant, he should be at my mercy... Regardless of your own genetic flaws."
Krowley stopped pacing to look back at the master, slamming his fist on the table. "You're really beginning to try my patience! It's a wonder I trust you at all."
"If you only now realize this, you're a bigger fool than your grandson."
Krowley clenches his teeth and loosened them immediately as Seiza walked in. "Do you mind?" Krowley rarely let himself lose his temper, and didn't like to make a spectacle of it.
"No, you're timing is perfect. Report on your progress," No Heart commanded. Looking at the two in silence, Seiza began to feel nervous about his fate for being honest. He sighed anyway before nervously revealing; "...it is done... finishing touches could be made. But everything is otherwise completed."
No Heart's tapping stopped as he rose from his chair. "Excellent. It's nice to know someone is doing their job correctly."
"Oh that is it!" Krowley summoned his keyblade as he pointed it to the master. He had finally lost his cool. "I have had it with your enigmatic leadership and boasting! For the sake of my endgame I was willing to go along with it, But no more! I will accomplish my goal with or without you!"
Unphased, No Heart closed his book and looked back to Seiza.
"Seiza, also report on the status of Shiro. If he isn't already still in recovery, I'll finish him off myself." Seiza held his palms up and shrugged smugly saying, "He's gone, as far as I'm aware." As nervous as he was, it was comforting to know that No Heart could be absent minded on something for once.
"Well that's another failure, considering you were meant to keep watch over him." No Heart stated. Slashing his keyblade through the master's chair, No Heart quickly summoned his own blade and guarded the attack. "And seeing as how I've lost a prisoner, I suppose you'll have to pay the price."
"Whatever you plan to do is too big!" Krowley argued. "No matter how much you know about the future, What you're planning is near impossible!"
No Heart chuckled. "Of course you'd say that. And do you know why you will never grasp it? It's because you lack something that everyone has, but no one knows how to use. ... Vision. And when it comes to vision Kurt, heh... you may as well be blind."
In a rush of rage, Krowley began to take part in a very intense clash between himself and No Heart. Seiza watching from the sidelines held his breath as to wondering who would win. The struggle did not last long as No Heart was quickly beginning to overpower the head of the order. Beginning to panic, Krowley unleashed a flash of light that blinded No Heart long enough for him to get a quick shot in and crack his helmet. As the flash of light faded, Krowley had vanished from the room.
"Coward, " No Heart proclaimed as he turned around. Upon seeing Seiza, he froze in place, quickly having his helmet repair itself in hopes that Seiza had not seen his face. Seiza stares for a long moment before managing to speak out, "I had my suspicions... but I was hoping that it wasn't you... not after everything you've done."
Keeping calm and composed, No Heart looked back at the man. "That's the funny thing about Time. We're never the same person we were two seconds ago."
A quick Time shift was made as No Heart phased out of view and directly in front of Seiza. With no time to react, No Heart stabbed him directly in the heart without remorse or hesitation. "I felt you should know in your final moments, that this is not the outcome I foresaw for you. You have served me well to this point. But your service is no longer required" Seiza reached down to hold the keyblade and looked No Heart through his mask and into his eyes. "You... were the one... who was supposed to open the door..." before he disappeared into a puff of light, No Heart began walking away from him, taking his keyblade from his chest.
"You're going to break her heart when she finds out..." Seiza's final words faded, as particles of light left the room.
As No Heart marched off, he spoke softly to himself. "No more waiting."

Finlay was slowly backin off and shrugged wondering what he did that was so wrong. "So... does it hunt for you or does it just play around with the wee kids?"
Before he could get an answer, Hughes summoned three darksides and three demon tides; small cyclones of shadow heartless. Sprinkles immediately tackled one of the darksides as Oswald began to attack one of the demon tides circling Mizu. The other two darksides were on opposite sides of the field, with the demon tides, pushing back the other wielders, dividing them into two groups.

Arctus raised an eyebrow at one of the swarms of Heartless and looked over at Karina. "Yo!" He pointed at the Demon Tide. "Look at all the little guys swirling about! It's kinda cute isn't it? Look at the little guys go! ...Okay that's enough looking. Let's kick their asses now." Arctus charged forward and leaped like a freak to strike down with his sword on the Demon Tower, the black blade glowing with gravity magic and causing everything it struck to suddenly rocket down to the floor and explode in small puffs of darkness.

Koa looked over as Uniform summoned more heartless. However, these were more powerful heartless. The demon tides had then split apart him and Luna, sending her to the opposite side. "Luna!!" Koa jumped back as the demon tide went toward the side that Luna was on. "Not good not good!" Koa immediately formed his spear as he ran off. Arctus had went past off toward the other side and had started to deal with the demon tide that was after the other group. Reaching the demon tide, Koa readied his spear. He leaped into the air before coming back down, using the spear head to slash at the demon tide. "They already have enough on their plate! You don't need to add to it. Now disappear before we make you!" Koa readied his spear once again as he looked at the demon tide while taking a glance at Luna. "I have to make sure I protect her and the others while they're fighting that Darkside. They don't need to deal with two annoyances.." Koa kept his eyes on the demon tide, making sure it didn't reach the others.

Arctus spun his blade overhead, preparing a spell as he watched the Demon Tide he attacked fly about. Seeing all the Shadows clump together and be hurled forward as the swarm moved in the air greatly amused him. Despite the fact that he had said it was time to kick ass he still fixated on them like some kind of curious oddity to behold. Truth be told, Artcus wished he could just pluck one of those Shadows from its brethren and keep it as his own pet. It would then be known as his Friendly Heartless. Yes. And then he would gift it to Karina. No. That was stupid. Girls didn't like Heartless. They liked stupid boxes with chocolates in them.

Knowing his mind had wandered too far he shook his head and snapped back to reality. He called forth his spell and rained down small comets on the Demon Tide watching as Shadows exploded into sad puffs of darkness as they were bombarded by SPACE SHRAPNEL. "Bye little buddies. You'll always be in my heart. But not really. Stop resisting!"

As the group was split apart, the girl furrowed her brow as her conversation with the supposed keyblade master was abruptly put to a halt. Seeing the large wave of heartless start to fly around, the girl noticed that it was actually not a single heartless. It was just a wave of shadows all clung together. Looking at her hands, then back to the demon tide, the girl merely said, "how annoying." Punching her fists together, as Kar-Kiara - apparently Karina - and Arctus seemed to be dealing with the blue wave of heartless, the girl decided to go and aid Koa against the red one. Making her way over, Aeira jumped forward, leaping into the demon tide. Aeira was swallowed up by the wave as she punched into it, vanishing from sight. A few moments later, she was expelled from it, landing on the ground hard next to Koa. Picking herself up, the girl didn't seem any bit phased emotionally ,- physically she seemed to have taken some damage - before saying, "don't worry. They won't be able to make their way past us."

Arctus attacked once more by swinging his blade at the Heartless swarm several times. Just by the fact that there were hundreds of Shadows he managed to catch several with each cut of his large blade. "Easy peasy lemon squeezy." He threw his sword into the Demon Tide, his eyes following the path of destruction it cleaved as it made its way through, and caught it on its return trip. "Just a few more hits like that and we'll be done before supper."

Kaida took a deep breath as she looked up at the darksides and whistled, "That escalated far too quickly." when the demon tides decided to swarm over, Kaida quickly jumped to the side, feeling her angle kind of twinge in a bit of pain. She fixed her hair and looked up towards the red darkside, now focused on them. She looked towards the rest of her team and stood up and resummoned keyblades, this time whittling promises settling into her left hand, while her right hand glowed with oathkeeper. She twirled them slightly and pulled back a little saying, "Hope you guys are ready for this to get... electrifying." and Kaida quickly heaved back as a thunderbell came crashing down on the red darkside. Her other keyblade glowed as she tossed another one and threw it at the demon.

There were two different ringing tones as the bell hit and Kaida smirked a bit, a little amused.

Arctus began to think about Danger Noodles and how delectable they were. "Doo du du doooo..." He whistled as he threw his sword again, the purple glow of it illuminating the innards of the Demon Tide as it entered the swarm. Having nothing to do but wait for his blade to returned he absentmindedly played with his thumbs and kicked at the dirt beneath his boots. He only just now realized that the wait for his sword was quite awkward. His face brightened when the black blade returned to him. "Yes!"

Being split apart from half of the others of their group, Stratos looked towards those he was left with to fight against the heartless. Looking at them, Stratos was fairly confident in their ability to bring the enemy down. He had never actually fought alongside AJ before, though he had seen that he was fairly competent in fighting against the other heartless from what he saw so far in this battle. Then there was Aux. Stratos wasn't still wasn't the most comfortable fighting alongside him, but he had not turned on them yet, so he simply had to rely on that fact alone. As Kaida was the first to spring into action, Stratos smirked as the girl fired off two thunder bells. "I don't know," the boy replied. "I think things are more likely to get a bit hot in here." Pointing both of his keyblades at the darkside, Stratos created two orbs of flames at their tips.

After being chewed up and spit out by the demon tide, Aeira was grimacing as she got ready to dive right back into the demon tide of heartless. Clenching her fists tight, the girl began to sprint forward, jumping into the spinning spiral of shadows. While she was consumed in it again, the girl continued to punch out and forward towards the heartless, striking them one after the other, managing to collide her punches against some of the heartless. Though the attacks weren't that efficient, the girl was not the most well equipped to deal with the heartless in this form, and so after awhile of punching she was once again spit out of the swarm and back to the ground.

"Do you just like hearing yourself talk or are you crazy. I mean sure Shadows CAN be cute, but not when they are giant swirling masses of death." Karina responded to Arctus rolling her eyes at him. "We really should kick ass first and deal with everything else later." Karina agreed as she launched herself forward at the demon tide ready to deal with that as well. They were easier to deal with than Arctus, he was just.... strange. She didn't know what to do with him, it felt like she had a lost dog running around with her.

Arctus scratched the back of his head now that he was at a loss of what to do next. He refused to let his new signature move be his only move. He folded his arms, watching as the Demon Tide fly around. He wondered what would simply look the coolest in his next attack. Perhaps just imagining it would be enough to damage the Heartless. He looked over at Karina. "Hey! Are you jealous of a few Shadows? You know your rage is somehow cuter. Or maybe it isn't! Nobody knows. Well I knows." He shrugged, flashing a stupid grin with the knowledge someone agreed with him.

Skidding across the ground, the dirt being kicked up from underneath her feet as she did so, the girl gritted her teeth as she stared back at the demon tide. Generally, the strategy of rush in an punch things was both successful and reliable. However, as things were now, it was neither. Swarms were annoying. Flying enemies were annoying. Swarms of flying enemies, well the negatives didn't cancel each other out. So, clenching her fists tighter, the girl tried to think of a way to combat the demon tide before her. Smashing her foot against the ground, a few rocks formed around her, orbiting about. She wasn't the most magically inclined of people, but these were still shadows at the end of the day. So, punching forward, the girl launched a flurry of rocks in the direction of the demon tide, trying to damage it.

Rolling her eyes she grinned a little bit. "What is there to be jealous of. I mean they have everything you don't have. They are cute, quiet, fighting spirit. What is not to love about them. How can I possible be jealous. You just want me to be because you seem to like it when I am angry. Nice try lover boy but I have a secret for you, I am always angry." With that she patted him on the cheek and then took off to fight more of the heartless. If they could get rid of this tide, then they could move on to the other one and eliminate the danger for those who had to fight the bigger creatures.

Arctus continued to watch his Demon Tower, momentarily glancing at Karina and her impressive fighting style. "Ya know...ever wonder how they get like that? Like, do they just decide 'yo! Let's all go pile on each other and travel like a bunch of weirdos!'?" He scratched his chin. "Or do they do that because they're lonely? ...Oh sorry were you saying something about always being angry? Uh right. Got lost in thought. Um...lemme think of something witty-aha! Well, it's not witty but I like your spice, Karina! You're like an angry hot potato...that's spicy. A pepper. Yeah. You're a pepper!"

What... what was this guy on? What was going on in that mind of his? Without an answer but desperate to get him at least making sense again, Karina sighed and did something that she never thought she would do even days ago. Dropping her whip blade she walked up to Arctus, grabbed his face in her hands and planted a kiss right on his lips. After a moment she broke away and without a word turned around picking her weapon back up and heading back into the fight. She snuck a glance over her shoulder though, wondering how he was going to respond to that. Karina herself was blushing slightly but she tried to push it off like it was nothing as she purposefully let her hips sway with a sort of swagger to help pretend that she was more confident about what just happened than she actually was.

Arctus continued to passively wonder about the life and existence of a Demon Tower, speaking almost inaudibly to himself. "Dost thou loseth thine sense of self in yonder gathering? Dost thou...no...not gonna talk like this for a whole post. But seriously...how? How do you do this, little buddies? HOW!?" He sighed. Was there even a point in wondering save for the sense of wonder? They were just going to get destroyed in the end anyway. He placed his hands on his hips and continued to stare at the swarm even after Karina casually kissed him out of nowhere. Such was life. So the Demon Tide was still-waitwhatwhathowwhy.

Arctus hadn't even processed what had just happened. He nearly dropped his blade and watched as Karina walked away without a word, his jaw dropped. He had nothing witty to say. No musings about the stupid Heartless. Just confusion and a burning sensation in his cheeks. He opened his mouth to try to form words but all that came out was, "A-again?"

After sending the rocks into the demon tide, she managed to slay a few of the shadows in the demon tide, the girl wasn't sure this was the most effective method in dealing with them. Clenching her fists tighter, the girl began to think about running back into the tide, though first, her rising irritation was starting to be tipped over by something else. Looking over to Arctus she shouted, "Shut up already!" With that done, the girl then decided that running head first into the swarm was probably far less irritating than listening to the two's exchange. Getting into a sprinting stance, the girl started to run towards the demon tide, jumping into the air and back into the demon tide, punching at it as she was swallowed into the swarm.
