At he stood there fighting he thought about his homeworld. Everything was so different now. Euterpe was peaceful in ancient times and everyone worked together towards the better of the land. Long ago it is said that a person of unknown gender had some sort of magic. They were happy with the way people had worked together. So one day they told the people of the land. 'If you wish for the land to remain as it is all you have to do is rejoice in the way things are. Work together and you shall find the Well of delight. To the first who find untold wealth and a wish awaits you. Stay as one you will not find anything but remorse and anger. Together you will find what you desire. If you do not one of heart and mind will be able to find what was lost but can be found. Clues you will find to point you the way to untold treasures. The desert of want and needs, the sea of deep wonders and the forest of wonder and thought you will get what you all desire.' Well that was how some of the story went how true it was he could not say. There was a well but as far as he could tell there was nothing different about it. Shortly after this person left, That day the person left without a trace and was never seen from again. At first people began to work together to find the unknown Well thing the person had talked about. As the years went on people began to look for the Well them self. As the years went on people began to figure out that there was no sea, desert or forest with names in the prophecy the person had said. The was not even a sea or a desert anywhere to be found. The forest that was near was searched but nothing was found.

Years and years went on with no Well being found. With the years going on and on some began to give and lose hope. Most began to work for only there benefit. This continued until the current day where and glimmer of a clue was taken from you and was used to find the Well. Not many clues were found and the ones that were did not lead to anywhere. And that was how the story went.As for the person that told the prophecy no one ever could figure out if it was a man or a woman. The person was cover from head to toe in a white cloak. The only thing that was to see on the person was the face and even then the details were lost. At this point he looked down at the Amulet he had. He had just one day he was walking on the outskirts of the forest and the fields. The object he found was an amulet. The amulet itself appeared to be made of gold and was rather small. The metal on the Amulet was not gold according to those who looked at it. The amulet was light. Some thought that there might be something inside but no one ever found a way to open it. Untill he did when he had found the well one day but what the well did was nothing as far as he knew, because shortly after he had found the well he had left his homeworld at that was not by choice. He was not sure how what he felt now that he was no longer there and went back to looking at the battle.

After having slain the heartless with his dark combo finisher, Stratos looked at his hand, wondering just what it was that he had done. Or, more like how he had done it. This was a bit different from the power of the gravity aura, which was merely a pulse of gravitational magic. This was like an actual construct, an appendage made from darkness itself. Wondering what this new power meant, Stratos at the very least could figure out that the power of darkness was quite a unique an odd one. With that done, though, the boy decided to shift back to his other aura. Focusing a bit, the darkness that was surrounding him subsided, with a calm lighter purple color surrounding him. As this happened, the air around the boy grew heavier as his gravity aura had flared up once again. With that out of the way, feeling a bit more comfortable in this aura, the boy focused and summoned both of his keyblades back to his hand. Twirling his keyblades around, the boy looked for more heartless to go and fight, which didn't take very long as there was still a large swarm of dark balls around, merely floating around looking for people to fight. Deciding to more than oblige them, Stratos ran at the collection of dark balls ready to cut a swath into them once again.

As the dark balls looked towards the boy, they dived at him, maws ready to chomp down onto the keyblade wielder. Dodging under the first, with a swift roll, he then found himself being attacked by a swarm of five. Being unable to avoid all of them, the boy instead decided to face the heartless dead on. Charging his keyblades with magical power, the boy merely declared, "red slash," before slashing twice at the dark balls. With one keyblade charged with earth, a rocky substance coating it, and the other light, glowing brightly, the boy tore through the five heartless that were coming at him. However, he was then stomped in his tracks as a dark ball had warped behind him, biting down onto his shoulder. Wincing in pain, the boy didn't have much time to react as yet another swarm was coming at him. Tossing one keyblade in front of him, the boy twirled his other keyblade behind him, firing a chunk of ice out from it. The blizzard spell had managed to fell the darkball, while his strike raided keyblade managed to tear through a few others. Calling his keyblade back to him, there was still a large quantity of dark balls that were left, mostly still trying to ram their jaws and chomp down onto the boy. Focusing his magical power, the boy created four pillars of light around him, which started to spin around him. As he declared, "faith," the pillars moved outward, exploding against the dark ball swarm when they collided. As the flash of light magic occurred, the wave of dark balls were destroyed in one fell swoop, causing them all to erupt into dark smoke as they were felled.

Aeira. Punching. These are things that are often paired together. Even more so when it comes to fighting heartless. With one collection of neoshadows down, the girl had yet another one to go towards to try and stop. With one neoshadow jumping at her, she merely stepped back, punching it in the face to fell it. Then there were like six other neoshadows. And they all tried to the same tactic at once in an attempt to overwhelm Aeira. And the girl was not overwhelmed. Instead she punched more neoshadows and destroyed them. Yeah.

Things seemed to be more or less going the same. Going back to thinking about the battle the battle would be interesting as it continued. Then he thought back to his dream back on his homeworld. The day everything changed. His dream... Andrew ‘AJ’ Jacob looked around. All he could see was darkness in every direction. The darkness did not bother him too much. He had rather good eye sight when it came to walking and looking around in the dark. He had no memory on how he got here or why, although he did not really think about it. The darkness had an effect on him. He began to think back to a time when someone thought it would be a good idea to come up on him in the dark a dump something on him. He saw this act coming a mile away so it did not happen. It was one of the many things he was good at. He picked a random direction and stared walking. There was not much to see considering how dark it was. He lost track of how long he was walking for. He did not even know what he was looking for if anything. He continued to walk until he saw something or someone in the distance. He could not make out who there were. The only thing that he could make out was that they were human. It was more of a shadow than anything else. He tried to get a closer look but the person just keep getting farther and farther away. There was no sound or really much of anything. He tried to say something but nothing came out.

There was nothing for him to do but to follow them. The whole time he followed the he tried to make out what they were wearing but they must have had on all black because he could not make out a single detail. He then almost tripped over something looking down there was an outline of a key. He could not see any more detail other than that. He bent down to pick it up but could not find it at all it was almost like it disappeared. He looked up to see several looking dog things in the distance. Something told him that getting close to them was not a good idea. He turned and ran in a random direction. He looked behind him once or twice to only see the dog outline behind him. He still could not make out any detail. Then a bright light appeared out of nowhere. A blinding bright light. He closed his eyes for a moment and... that was when he woke up. When he had first had it he thought nothing about it but now more and more that dream had been trying to tell him something. Then there was the metal amulet that he had. The metal on the Amulet was not gold according to those who looked at it. The amulet was light. Some thought that there might be something inside but no one ever found a way to open it. Until he did when he had found the well one day but what the well did was nothing as far as he knew, because shortly after he had found the well he had left his homeworld at that was not by choice. He attacked the darkball heartless. The creature might have stood up after his attack, if it had feet but it was a floating thing. He had ran through the horde, dodging as much as he could. He had to keep fighting weather or not that dream met something.

Luna stopped in her tracks. She turned back toward Karina and thought back on the words she had told her. She walked back toward her. She had then saw some darkballs headed toward her. Luna instantly created another ice path and raced her way over. "Karina! Look out!!" She immediately casted a Blizzaga spell, creating a ball of ice in the middle of the group of darkballs. The ice had then formed spikes, impaling each darkball that had surrounded it. Luna went over to Karina whiles she was still on the ice path. "Are you alright? You're not hurt are you?" Luna looked over at Karina as concern had been painted on her face. She then let out a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness." She scratched her head before continuing. "I'm sorry I just walked off. It's just that....." Luna paused as the corners of her lips turned down. She took a deep breath before continuing. "This is the first time I've seen Koa in two years. The thought of him leaving again....It's just that I just found him again and now he's going to be leaving again." She casted her eyes down to the ground as she continued. "I'm scared he might not come back this time if he leaves again." Luna gripped her necklace tightly She looked up and saw some more darkballs headed toward them. "Sorry. Excuse me a moment!" She skated off toward the darkballs. She began spinning while her blade was extended a bit. As she spun, her blade cut through each darkball, one by one. As she stopped spinning, she raised her blade as each darkball around her vanished. Luna skated back over to Karina. "I'm sorry for throwing this all at you. Better to be honest and say something rather than say nothing and keep it to yourself." A sad smile went across her face as she apologized to Karina.

Koa was still concerned as Hikaru tried to choose his next words carefully. With each moment that passed, he grew more and more worried. After several silent moments, Hikaru had opened his mouth. "To be honest, we ourselves don't really know what the whole choosing of princess of heart procedure works. All I know is that during the middle of our mark of mastery exam we were transported to a few digital worlds, and inside those worlds held three lists that depicted the names of the princesses of heart. A good twenty one candidates of who could be a possible target since the bad guys are trying to reveal the final keyhole. Luna was on one of the lists, so that's all we really have to go on." Koa clenched his fists over the new information he had been told. He was speechless. Nothing came out of his mouth for several moments. He had saw some darkballs coming toward them. He immediately ran over to them and formed his spear. He ran his spear through each darkball that had come up to him. His spear moved fluidly and aggressively as Koa continued to attack. Once he had seen that the group had been eliminated, his spear became a small cube again. He walked back over to Hikaru as he continued to speak. "Can't say I'm too surprised to be honest though. Luna has a very bright, kind heart, and it's said that the seven princesses all have the most purest of hearts. So I guess, it's more of a compliment than anything." Koa looked down for a few moments before sighing. "That's what worries me. Luna has always had a target on her back because of her title as princess....But now...She has a much bigger target than she did in the past. She has risked her life so many times for the life of another, no matter how small. She never put herself before anything else. She was always like that." He looked down for a few moments before looking toward her and continued. "I've been at her side since we were kids. Back then, I had no clue she was the princess. Even after I found out, I still stayed by her side, trying to make sure she stayed out of danger. So I studied and trained as hard as I could to be accepted into the kingdom's elite forces, so I could make sure she would be safe. Though....I can't say I've done a good job." He clenched his fist again. After several moments, nothing but silence had passed. Koa broke the silence that had lingered. "She was always trying to look out for the little guy. Always making sure everyone was happy and okay. But she was always trying to make sure to live up to everyone's expectations, including her parents. Even now as I look at her, she's still trying to live up to expectations. Still holding in all her burdens and worries. And I have to leave her again because there's still some work that needs to be done. I'm just worried about her." He kept gazing at her, worry filling his eyes.

With one set of neoshadows having been defeated, the girl moved on to fight against yet another one of the neoshadows. With her fists at the ready, she saw a larger than normal neoshadow, veins of red coursing through its body as the imposing creature looked to try and stop the punch happy girl. Noting that it was definitely stronger than a normal one, without even having to exchange blows with it once, the girl immediately got her way into a fighting stance. Putting both of her hands up to guard against whatever the creature may send her way, the girl had her knees partially bent and her stance steady as she waited for what the neo shadow was going to do. The creature merely looked at her, its head fidgeting and twitching at seemingly random as the creature began to walk around and try to, more than likely, find an opening in her guard. In addition to its head moving in an almost spastic way, had its claws seemingly titch around as they went form open and ready to slash to merely moving around at random. As it did, the creature looked towards Aeira, and in a surprising burst of speed and suddenness in motion, the heartless immediately closed the distance between it and her.

With her hands up, she managed to intercept one of the claws as it first tried to slash into her, parrying the claw away. However, with a sudden snapping motion, the other claw had moved towards her and seemed to snake its way past her guard. Trying to avoid it, the girl could barley move out of the way, and merely braced herself for the following pain as the claw managed to rake across her skin. Though the blow was lessened due to her magic, it was clear that the heartless was nothing to mess around with it, as it managed to deal significant damage to her. As it tried to put on more offensive pressure towards her, the girl, rather than guarding against such speed, decided to take it in stride. Stepping forward, the girl attempted to close the distance between her and the neoshadow. While the claw tried to snake its way past her guard, it was met with much lower success this time. As she had moved forward, rather than stand her ground, the girl had managed to actually avoid the claw though was still slammed into by the arm. With a swift punch to the gut, the girl had managed to force the creature off its feet from the sheer force of the attack. Pulling back the fist she had just used, the girl went on to follow up with yet another punch to its gut, beginning to put on a large amount of pressure towards the creature. As the creature's body was being impacted by a large amount of force, it was no longer actually on the ground. Reaching out with both of her hands, she grabbed onto the arm of creature, spinning it around before slamming the creature down onto the ground. Throwing the heartless back into the air, the girl then delivered one final uppercut into it as it was felled by her fist.

Stratos, meanwhile, was still killing dark balls. With cherry blossoms fluttering through the wind, the boy had initiated his attack once again as he managed to vanish from sight. Appearing on the other end of a sea of dark balls, it was clear that he had used his zantetsuken attack, to fell each and every one of the heartless that had kept moving towards them.

As soon as the neoshadow and the shadows were gone more just seemed to come. After cutting through the last swath of heartless, he looked around the horde of shadows that seemed to be towards him more now. Stepping forward, slightly the heartless instinctively continued to come towards him. Only to eventually halt a few feet away. It looked like he was just going to be stuck here until he died or the battle was over. Continuing his defensive stance now that his only way out was gone. He decided that going after some of the bigger heartless might be best. That said he did not think that he had much of a choice in the manner. Picking on the bigger heartless first before bothering with the smaller heartless seemed like the best idea but no matter what ended up happening he was sure to get overwhelmed at some point. He was quite thankful that he somehow had not got himself killed yet. He wished he could be of a little more help to others but with no way of getting to them and no way on them to get him he was and they were out of luck. He knew that he needed to pace herself or he might die faster. slow death or a fast one? He did not think that it was much of a choice. If he was going to deal with the large heartless he could not waste time on the smaller heartless as well. If he tried to do too much at once, he would exhaust himself far too fast and would not be a good thing. There was also the fact he might die. Still only taking out a few heartless at a time was the best option for now.

That being said the little guys in the quantity that they were swarming in could still cause issues if they wanted to. They already were for what he could tell as they were the only ones that kept on coming. When ever he made a move to go after a neoshadow in the distance a shadow to walk in and he would have to take care of the shadow first. It looked like the heartless were not giving him a option on who to fight and there seemed to be deciding for him that it would be the shadows. Having no intention of slowing down against these heartless, he stood his ground agest the heartless that mad his way toward him. They moved forward towards him. With the blade still in hand, the boy began to attack as they came towards him.

After the last wave of heartless had been dealt with he thought that the heartless were somehow thinning. He had a feeling that this would not last that long. He knew that soon enough somehow more heartless would come out of no where. No sooner had he thought this then over the heads of some of like five neoshadows, who at this point seemed weak, rose several dark balls. With a spin, kick and slash of his weapon he took the five neoshadows out and then the darkballs made there way towards him. With blade in hand, the boy began to make his move towards the side as a large collection of darkballs made there way towards him. Some of the darkball heartless seemed to be far fatter around then the ones he fought before. They were defently different then the regular darkball heartless. After he moved forward slightly and unleashed a flurry of blows before the one of the darkballs heartless could escape. His combo hitting was successful as the one of the darkball heartless faded into darkness.

After defeating the most fearsome of the foes she had been fighting against, the girl was immediately beset by yet another swarm of neoshadows on her position. Readying herself, the girl put herself back into an offensive stat as quickly as she could, though it was rather sloppy given the speed of the neoshadows. With the neoshadows leaping after Aeira, the girl attempted to try and merely punch forward rather than guard. As she stepped swiftly forward, despite her lopsided form and hasty actions, the girl still had the power to back it up, and had intercepted one of the claws with a punch of her own. Breaking past the claw, her fist then collided with the neoshadows head, causing it to be launched backward due to the force of the hit before exploding back into a dark smoke. After the attack, though, she was immediately dog piled by five other neoshadows. Using her other hand, she managed to grab and toss one of the neoshadows away, but was slammed into by one of the them, as the other two slashed their claws against her arms. Due to her stone skin buff, the pain and damage wasn't actually that great, but she couldn't afford to keep taking hits like this. With a fifth one coming in for her head, the girl moved forward again, however, rather than a punch she went in for a headbutt. Slamming her head into the neoshadow, she forced the creature back, and into the ground, causing the body of darkness to ripple before exploding into dark smoke.

As the four other neoshadows moved towards her, the girl readied her stance to fight back against the creatures, this time more prepared for them then she was before. As the one closest to her tried to ram into her once more, the girl grabbed the head of the neoshadow, and merely tossed it into the air before looking towards the other heartless that were coming towards her. With her two fists she managed to catch both of the neo shadows jumping at her with either of them. The darkness rippled across as her fists came into contact with them, and their heads seemed to be moving farther away from her at a faster rate then the neoshadow's bodies did. Completing her punch, she sent the neoshadow's body flying with them breaking apart in mid-air, turning back into a dark smoke. With only one left moving at her, Aeira merely grabbed the arm of the falling neoshadow as it got back to her height, and used it as a weapon. With a hefty swing, the girl slammed the neoshadow she was holding onto into another of the neoshadows, crashing the two into each other. With that attack finished, the two heartless exploded into darkness, signifying that they were bested and slain, the black smoke drifting through the air before it dissipated.

Readying both of his keyblades, the boy continued to tear through each and every one of the darkballs that continued to come towards him. With another wave of thirty trying to crash into him, the boy charged his body with rainbow lightning once again. As the lightning coursed across him, it eventually was channeled into his blades as he attempted to combine two commands together once again. His keyblades igniting, the boy swiftly dashed forward and through them, spinning his flaming blades through the creatures. "Link Synchro: Sweeping Fire Slide." With the attack having finished, the boy skidded across the ground as the flames consumed the darkball heartless destroying them in a single instant and returning them back to whence they came.

After he moved forward slightly and unleashed a flurry of blows before the one of the darkballs heartless could escape. His combo hitting was successful as the one of the darkball heartless faded into darkness. The heartless around him had to have been anticipating his first step because a darkball heartless with a little shadow heartless riding atop its head had flown directly in front of him. The shadow heartless struck first with its claws outstretched and was swiftly swatted it to the side. The darkball heartles son the other hand was more on the persistent side with its attacks and spent a bit flying around AJ, narrowly avoiding all of his attack that he threw at the heartless. When the heartless thought it say its chance to strike, it opened it mouth and prepared to strike. That proved to be a fatal mistake for He was able to dodge the attack and launch a counter attack of his own. Vaporizing the darkball heartless soon after. As the blonde settled down a bit more, he began to consider possibilities to get further out of the jam he had placed hhimself in.

With the first of the darkball like heartless having been felled, he was given a bit of a reprieve to catch his breath. As he did so he started to think of what the heartless were like here. The last time he had fought the darkball heartless, in the first wave, they were only difficult to face due to his sheer unfamiliarity with them. However, this time they seemed to be far more ferocious in nature, and not only were they more aggressive but he had felt as though they were faster and stronger as well. They were able to continually exert great pressure, greater then what he had experienced not a few moments ago, and he wondered what was going on here. And though he had only managed to fight a few darkball heartless in the last encounter, these too seemed stronger as well. Trying to figure out what was going on here he looked around and did not see much. He was soon swiftly cut off as another darkball heartless came down to attack him.

Dodging away from the attack first, he did not want to deal with another one of these things so quickly after the last, especially with the damage he had taken so far. He needed to get his wounds healed, though, he hardly expected the heartless to give him the breathing room to actually cure himself. He had to blink a few time to readjust his vision, while the now defeated darkball heartless took a large portion of the blow, he was still a bit dazed from the impact.

The first of the darkball heartless moved fast towards him. Rather than lunging at them, as they would not to do, this darkball heartless floted in a odd way towards him. As it did, two more came out of nowhere. The last two, behind the first, merely seemed to flote there, looking as if they were waiting for something to happen. As the first of the darkball heartless had finally closed to the distance. He watched as more darkball heartless began to rise in front of him. Their bright eyes illuminated the atmosphere of darkness that was laid before them. He let out a sigh time for battle. Holding his weapon aloft, he looked onwards to the swarm of darkball heartless. Hoping to try and deter their efforts while saving some of his own stamina, he helt his weapon over his head. Pointing straight at the darkball heartless and attacked them.

After the large offensive pressure of one of the waves of neoshadows had been dealt with, there was no rest for Aeira's continued onslaught of punching against the heartless. Both she was not letting up the pressure on her own offensive prowess, and the heartless didn't want to seem to give up on fighting her. Clenching her fists tightly, the girl moved forward, rather than being in a readied guarded stance, running at full speed towards the neo shadows. As one of the neoshadows went to spin in a horizontal way, parallel to the ground, the girl didn't slow down when approaching it. As the leg of the heartless came close to her, threatening a kick, the girl merely grabbed onto the leg of the creature, beginning to spin along with it. As she started to spin forward, she jumped into the air, and with a heavy amount of force spiked the creature down onto the ground. The raw force of her toss had caused the creature to smack against the ground, bouncing a bit upward even despite the sand it fell on and getting close back up to the girl's height. Close to her elbow, the girl merely struck with her elbow towards the creature, causing the neoshadow to break apart from the raw force of the attack, as she did. Landing back on the ground, the girl looked towards the other neo shadows, a death stare in her eyes as she challenged them to move closer. And closer they did.

Three of the remaining six dove into the ground, becoming apart of the shadows as they tried to scurry towards the girl. The other three neoshadows moved closer to her as well, trying to charge and lunge at her. The middle of the charging three spun in a vertical motion, perpendicular to the ground, as it tired to wheel its over her. The other two moved to the side of the girl, trying to rake their claws into her torso in preparation of her avoiding the middle one. Unfortunately, they didn't expect her to move to the side and catch one of their claws, instead putting them in the way of the spinning heartless. As she shielded herself from the heartless with one of their own, the other three appeared out of the ground trying to all slash into her back. Stomping on the ground with great force as they came up, the girl caused a small tremor to shift the ground around and force the neoshadows off balance. Clenching her fists, the girl pivoted to the side, grabbing one head of the neoshadows behind her and starting to push it past all of the others, spinning around sweeping all of the other heartless away from her. Tightening her grip, the girl crushed the head of the heartless in her hand, only to turn to the other of the three that had charged her. Quick stepping near it, the girl punched into the chest of the neoshadow, her fist going through the body of darkness and slaying it instantly. The two that she had knocked to the ground were getting up, but the girl didn't give them the chance to do anything else as she let loose a sweeping kick into both of their heads, slaying them as well.

Stratos continued to tear through the waves of heartless, the sea of darkballs being far more notably lower in volume than it had been at the start. There were now clear gaps in their presence, and it was clear that with one last spurt of fighting them the dark balls would be felled before long. And so the boy merely kept up with what he was doing, slashing through the dark balls as best he could.

After taking a few more swings of his blade the drakball heartless was gone. He soon found himself surround by Neoshadows. There was an almost noise to all the battling. He did not think that a battle fighting heartless could be so load. It could hear Magic going off and keyblades hitting things off in every direction. Unknown to him heartless where coming up from behind him too. They seemed to be climbing over the palm tree now. Looking forward. He could spot heartless making there way towards him all he did was stand there. He knew that if he did not do something soon he would be surrounded by more heartless in a manner of minutes. He was sure it would happen soon. He did not see a signal person in the mist of all this chaos of the battle. Did they leave him or where they somewhere out there? It did not matter. He could see the light of different spells going off. Fire and lightning bolts colors filled the sky. Sooner or later he would most like get hit by a stray spell or something it was only a manner of time. Puffs of black and purple smoke filled the sky making harder to see anything. The heartless that where behind him were still getting closer. A storm was here pieces of wood flew past him and he he would not be surprised if a large palm tree flew past him. At this point he could hear voices but could not make out what they were saying when there was a battle going on. From what he could tell there was more then one which met that he was right that the others were here. Where they were he could not say but it made him feel a bit better. Soon the heartless that where behind him was about ten feet or so from him. The heartless that he could see were still making there way towards him.

A Neoshadow heattless came up behind him and he did not see it. Moving to the side just at the right moment the Neoshadow heartless went fast first into the tree taking some bark with it. The Neoshadow heartless then turned and faced him. He still did not have his keyblade summoned so he could not use that for the moment. The Neoshadow then lunged at him and he gave it a good kick sending it back into the palm tree. Then then continued giving it a few more kicks until the thing disappeared. He looked back forward and heartless were still coming. Looking down and spotted a large piece of bark. Well bark was better then not using any weapon at all. Another darkball heartless show up this one looking regular size and he took this one one fast too. The heartless were destroyed in an instant, unable to take the raw force of the attack, and dissipated back into the strands of shadow they were made of. He then bent over and picked up the bark. Looking at the heartless that were coming he threw the sharp piece of bark toward the heartless like a throwing knife except sideways. He guessed it was more like a frisbee then a knife throw. Some heartless went out in a explosion. After the explosion managed to fell one of the heartless. He wondered when things would be easy. That said when has anything been easy other then some parts of the mark of mastery. It was hard to say if there was still 10'000 heartless or not as there were still so many. That said he knew that many had fallen in battle.

As Karina stormed off, emotions clouding her own judgement, she had not noticed the attack from behind, it was only the quick thinking and attention of Luna that managed to save her. Karina was left, mouth agape for a moment as she contemplated what had just happened. She had already convinced herself that no one cared for her, so she was ready to move on, anger already filling her heart, but here stood Luna, turning back to help her, caring what happened. It had honestly caught Karina by surprise, as she turned, not actually able to make eye contact with the girl at this point. "I'm... fine. No damage done thanks to you." No physical damage at least, though Karina was still confused and unsure of what to make of the entire situation as she found herself just staring blankly for a moment before managing to snap herself out of it. Luna was trying to make excuses, but they were pathetic ones. Of course she didn't want to lose him again, but what did she think would happen? He would magically suddenly be able to use the keyblade and become a master so he could travel with them? No that was not how the world worked. "What did you think would happen Luna? Were you just going to run off, abandon all your friends, all the worlds you have helped just to go hide with him? Of course not, you are too nice to leave people to die and fight on their own. You know as well as I do that Koa isn't suited to go with you through whatever trials you all must face next, and you certainly are not suited for where I have been. You took the Mark of Mastery to get out of the realm of darkness, so don't throw that chance away. He is fine, I have seen him fight, he can hold his own and he isn't alone. I know god damn well that I should be the last person saying this, but you have to try trusting other people for once if you want to see him again, running away or dragging him with you are worse idea's than letting him walk his own path until this entire mess is dealt with. I don't know if Nequa is dead, I hope so but without a body, I am not going to assume anything, and Vanitis and Aux are still out there. That is just the start of our troubles. We can't just walk away from the paths we have chosen for one familiar face, so you will just have to learn to deal with it." Karina kind of snapped at Luna. She knew what she was saying, meant every word of it, but also knew that there was nicer ways that she could have said it. What was done was done though, and trying to be nice was never something Karina was good at, it was better to be blunt, she would deal with the consequences later.

Ananta had gone off to help Steel, which was probably for the best, but once more Aislinn found herself feeling more alone in the fight. She wasn't the only one fighting alone, she knew that well enough but it was always nice having someone there to watch your back. Without it it left Aislinn twirling in circles, trying to cover from attacks on all sides. Unfortunately that wasn't possible and while she was holding her own well enough, it left her with a few scrapes and bruises. If nothing else it was nothing serious enough to stop her from fighting. She simply had to learn to shrug off the pain and keep going.

Kaida continued on with her barrage of aerial attacks at the darkballs. Stopping time in midair to knock a few out before they could float out of her range. Or slamming them into the ground so the impact was what got them. When she finally charged up red slash again she let loose with that as well. She jumped down and landed on her leg the wrong way and needed to keep herself low. She decided to move to a safer spot to rest up at least for the rest of this wave. Next wave she would do far better.

Moving through the horde, the boy got in a guarded stance as yet another Neo Shadow leaped at him. As the Neo Shadow had charged him, the boy stepped backward, immediately evading the first of the attacks from it. However, this way not enough as the Neo Shadow began to spin around, rushing into him and striking into unguarded self. The wind being knocked out of him, as the neo shadow's foot knocked into him, the boy skidded backward. Putting up his hands again, the heartless moved towards him with its claws, raking them over his arm causing a large cut to form across it. Wincing in pain, he looked for an opening against the heartless he was fighting, though the creature was moving much faster than usual and was unrelenting in its pressure. Trying to evade the attacks, the boy kept moving side to side. Punching forward, the boy struck the heartless's claw, with his wepond. He was able to destroyimg the claw entirely. Moving in closer to the creature, he then slid into it with his fist striking dead on into the creature's gut. As he forced the creature back, he then delivered one powerful roundhouse kick to the Neo Shadow's head, causing it to lurch to the side before being destroyed under the damage it had taken.

He watched as a small group of drakball heartless come out of no where and ended up floating in front of him. They tilted their heads, looking at the sky aimlessly as they rose like black ink from no where to the leveled plain. They looked to him with intense glowing eyes. Their bent teeth showed. One of the darkball heartless jumped towards him, prompting him to tilt his head up as he watched the darkball hearless come towards him. The heartless looked down immediately and made a mad gliding dash towards the man. He remained in place as he watched the heartless approach him at an alarming speed. As the darkball heartless prepared to spinn away at his face, He quickly stabbed the darkball heartless by it's head causing it to flail. He glared at the creature as he jumped into the air, the darkball heartless' head still in his palm. As he jumped back down, he swung down his hand, slamming his palm and the heartless' head with it.

Now that it was unable to escape becasue of the countless heartless infrount of him. With a heavy swing, he attacked another darkball heartless. The rotund heartless was caught unaware and he threw the darkball heartless into another one. He sent the darkball heartless into it companion. The darkball heartless would at least would take some damage. As much as he wanted to say they were getting close to finishing up their fight here, it was hard to convince himself of that. He looked around and noticed that there were just begining the battle. He fired off a another strike to a wayward darkball heartless. He took a swing at another darkball heartless, taking it out and looking around. It seemed kind of strange how there were so many enemies and yet they did not just completely overwhelm him all at once. It had appeared that he somehow had managed to get the darkballs to slow down. They were slowed down for now but he knew that they would attack soon. It seemed that the stopped darkballs were not going to stay stopped. Taking another deep breath, and ready for the onslot that was sure to come from the darkballs and shadows. With his wepond at the ready the boy charged forward with swift speed rushing towards the darkball heartless. before they could do anything. With a single cut nothing seemed to happen at first, only for the keyblade master to then immediately strike with yet another swing of his weapon the darkball exploded.

Having finished yelling at Luna Karina turned around letting most of the rest of her rage out on the heartless around her. They stood between her and her target after all and that was not okay. Sure she yelled at Luna but that was not the object of her rage, it was the mad man who was summoning all of these bastards to their doorstep. She wasn't going to let him get away with this, that was not okay in her mind. On top of that she did have a score to settle. Perhaps Karina had gone too light on him, perhaps becoming a little like her father wasn't a bad thing when it came to the fact of dealing with those out of line. She had tried to change but he was making things hard. Perhaps, just maybe if she got rid of that block in her way she could indeed become a person to be proud of. That being said she now finally had someone who accepted her for her, so perhaps change wasn't as needed as she had thought it was. Without the ever present loneliness, perhaps she could be okay with herself, or perhaps not. Karina couldn't quite figure out where she sat with it given she was never good with anything that didn't have to do with anger and violence. She had once upon a time tried to be a normal person, slip into her role in life. That only brought pain, fear and failure. Every time she tried to do something she failed at it and earned her fathers wrath. The one thing she was good at was fighting, and that was not a skill for girls. She escaped and trained it to the point she saw herself becoming her father. When she tried to back off Karina found herself lost and that was where she was now. Unsure how to deal with anything and everything. She was scared of being weak and she was scared of becoming her father. Finding the middle between that felt like an impossible task. Now looking back at Arctus she wondered if she even needed to try. If he was accepting her as she was, perhaps she was not as bad as she thought she was in her own mind. That being said, her mind was a volatile unpredictable thing that she couldn't trust either thinking good or bad thought. Everything she thought of turned in to an unsure mess as was the case now, leaving her instead to lose herself in the battle rage that quickly had crept up on her.

Breath... just breath. She just needed to take the time to breath, though the heartless were not really allowing it. Every breath she took, Aislinn could see the heartless closing in on her. She had to keep fighting, had to do something, she wasn't going to die here. Taking one more breath Aislinn stepped forward, not launching herself into the attacks like usual, but instead stepping forward dealing single swings at the time, just enough to keep the heartless back a bit. Breathing heavily Aislinn quickly got a feeling for how many more she would have to deal with before continuing her fight in a slow manner. It bothered her she was slowing down the way she did, but there was no choice, there was no way that she could keep this up, Aislinn wasn't that stupid. If she launched herself into battle every time she started to feel tired, she would soon find herself taking a dirt nap. This was the best way to keep up with the battle.

Arctus saw no way to insert himself into the conversation between Karina and Luna without callously wrecking some sort of emotional moment and...even he wasn't that Heartless. Get it? No? Arctus shrugged. He used the power of filler to extend this paragraph into something less short. Arctus brandished his blade and swung it upwards, cleaving through the ground and sending debris propelled by gravity magic towards Heartless and obliterated several on impact. "More down. Many more to go." He muttered under his breath before resorting to what was quickly becoming one of his favorite maneuvers and launching his own sword to pierce through several more Heartless and several more on the return trip. He glanced at Karina who, by now seemed to have finished her conversation just as she glanced away from him and went into a battle rage. Impressed, he followed after the young woman.

Hikaru put his hands on Koa's shoulder seeing the worries in his eyes as he tried to comfort the boy. "Don't worry," he began. "We're all doing our best to keep each other safe. And I'm sure she appreciates everything you, Kiara and everyone else have done up until this point. She keeps us safe just as we keep her safe." He flashed a reassuring smile hoping that would ease his mind. Luna was one of the few guardians they had and her health and curing abilities helped her keep alive and well over the course of many battles. She was one of the best healers they had aside from himself and Ananta. The light inside her heart shone brightly as her light magic would transcend her spells and flow to her very core. "Luna was one of the very first people I met. I remember back in a world called Dwarf Woodlands, she ended up..." before he thought about finishing that statement, he thought about the first time they actually met. The light filled princess was not as she was now, but was actually in a state of mind where she wasn't acting like herself, but like what Karina acts like. In fact, when he first met Karina, she was actually more like Luna was now. It was funny to him as in the back of his mind, he wondered just what events happened that caused them to act the way they did or revert to different personalities altogether. "Well, she was always kind. So it's not surprising that she's been helping us as much as she is now. You're quite a lucky Koa." He felt bad for lying in the beginning part, but he already seemed worried and Hikaru didn't want to make matter worse by digging up things that happened so long ago. Dwarf Woodlands was actually the second world he had been to and back then he was still calling himself 'Krowley.' He felt silly and almost foolish for choosing the name of a man who betrayed them, but as time had shown, both he and Luna had done a lot of growing since those earlier days.

Over with Aux, his friend wwas still slashing through darkballs, feeling the darkness growing stronger inside him. The rage feuling every strike as if motivating him to slice and kill and maim without hesitation. It was like a massive Adrenalin rush where the only major downside was losing just a bit of his own moral compass. Up to this point, Aux's compass hadn't exactly been steering him in the right direction, but he hoped that working with Kaida, Hikaru and everyone else would at least help as a start to righting the wrongs he had done. He could feel the darkness increasing ashe closed his eyes, watching a dark purple veil envelope his body, as the edges of his fingers began to look like shadow-like claws. He opened his eyes wide as unknown to him, he had just activated the first level aura of Darkness; Darkest Fears. He looked at his hands and keyblade as he could feel the darkness surround him. Instead of panicing however, he felt calm and continued to slash at more darkballs, making sure he would do enough damage so that they wouldn't dare come back.

Back with Finlay and Steel, Finlay was still standing over Steel, slashing at Neoshadows that were going near the two. He wasn't really sure what to do with the wolf man as he hadn't replied to his earlier threatening declaration. All he could do was just fight more of the dark creatures that were around them. Their numbers were dwindling to the hundred as he slashed his axes through heartless after heartless.

The silence from Arctus wasn't sitting well. Yes she was talking to Luna before, but it seemed like Arctus always had something to say. Whenever she looked at him he didn't seem so involved in the battle that he couldn't talk. Not a single witty comment from him? It just didn't feel right. That being said she couldn't complain too much about that. Usually he was just annoying, it was kind of sad that she missed his annoying voice. Rolling her eyes she tried not to think about it too much as she turned her attention back to the heartless. They were almost done but she had a feeling that this wouldn't be the end. Looking around for her team Karina called out to all of them. "Hey Black Coats." She didn't know what else to say to get the attention of those following after her lead, it was the best she got. Karina figured that the SoS people already knew, so she wanted to make sure that everyone was prepared and that she would be able to bring everyone back alive. "Remember this Son of a ***** can summon more of these things. The battle isn't over until he is dead, so don't get to comfortable yet. There is a fight still ahead of us yet. Watch your backs." She called out over the heartless to everyone who would listen to her. It was important for them to know and be prepared for it because she was determined to make sure they lost no one else.

With that covered there was still a fight that she needed to deal with herself as she moved ever closer to Uniform. Sure she was sure that the over sized out going man could deal with Uniform himself. He was one of the order after all. It wasn't the reason that Karina was heading in that direction. She was heading over there because she wanted to face him again. She had thought she was over him when he ran away, but now that he was threatening her friends this wasn't over. It was her fight once again. She would be there when he fell, even if it was not by her own hand. He would see the burning determination in her eyes, see that she wasn't going to let him get the better of her. His words got under her skin sure but it wasn't going to stop her, very little would stop her now. Not when she was so far into this. This far into her new life, leaving her past behind. He could talk all he wanted but she wasn't going to sit down and wait for him to come for her. she wasn't going to wait to die, not when there was still a fight to be hand. It was all that she was good at after all may as well go for it.

Thankfully this round was almost over. She knew that the heartless would come again but if she could just get a moment to breath properly then she would be able to fight once more. They were almost at that point. She could get there if she tried a little more. Taking on her favoured ability once more she used Zantetsuken to get herself going once more. It was one last attempt and after she burst through the heartless, Aislinn fell to one knee as she breathed. Her eyes closed for a moment. "I will keep going. For Sarah and her family. I can do this." She told herself but for the time being she didn't get up, didn't try to fight again as she let the others finish the battle.

Judging by her response, it was a good thing that Kel didn't refer to the cosmetic change that the solider job gave him. Well he was unsure if there would've been any major differences between responses, but a keyblade seemed more reasonable than an article of clothing that really did nothing special at all. As far as he was aware of course. A small group of darkballs had jumped out towards Kel and were swiftly frozen solid through the effects of his Aura. They cracked, fell apart and blew away in the wind in the same diamond dust fashion that the heartless from before had. This allowed Kel to turned toward Aeira with a slightly lessened risk of being attacked by a heartless. "That's an aura, well my aura anyway." Kel paused, putting a finger to his chin. He really didn't know much about auras to be able to explain it to anyone. What he did have was his own interpretations on what it was, which was the best that he could do right now. "Aura's are, well, something that we were given upon becoming masters. We weren't really told much, if anything, about them." Hopefully he was making sense cause he was starting to doubt his own explaining skills regarding it. "Pretty much its a magic like skill." That wrapped up the hopefully follow able explanation of what aura's were. It served more to show how little he knew about them himself, which was already pretty evident by how he'd accidentally used it in the first place. He'd gotten name to put to the person he'd been speaking with though. "I'm Kel." Just as he's said that, the next group of heartless came floating his way. Instead of taking the easy way and just freezing them with his aura, he opted to be rid of them the easy way by using his keyblade. With his weapon armed he ran off to intercept the heartless. His keyblade became a lit in flames as it pierced through the first heartless. The flames had caused the Darkball to burst into well...flames. His stride continued as for the still alight keyblade was later tossed through another group of darkballs that had grouped together. A recurring theme that was easy to take advantage of with the right AOE attack. A large number of the group of heartless had been swiftly beaten by the time his keyblade had returned to him.

Still on his own little war path, Vallus continued to literally cut his way through the heartless that popped up around him.

After Aeira managed to punch through the swarm of heartless, there were hardly any left to speak of. She managed to slam her fists through a good quantity of the neoshadows, and there was a sense of pride well through her as she looked to see the progress of the other keyblade wielders. There were a few outliers among them. The boy with the blonde hair. The boy with the black hair. And the woman with the black hair. Those three seemed to be generally isolated from the rest of the other keyblade wielders, but they were proving more than a match for the heartless, which in turn made Aeira want to push herself even harder to strike down the neoshadows before her. Looking around, she saw the other pace of the keyblade wielders, and knew that she was already outpacing them as well, which gave her a small sense of validation, but all the same it wasn't enough to make her slow down and take it easy just yet. Though the heartless were few in numbers, they were still up and alive, and she still raring to go against them all. Her attention was briefly torn away towards the voice from Kar-Kiara as she mentioned something about Uniform's powers. It took her a second to realize that the statement was directed towards her, not specifically but in general, as she said, "wait, we're the Black Coats?" She hadn't remembered if that team name was decided on already, but it made enough sense that the girl didn't bother questioning it. Regardless, it didn't matter if this wave nearly complete or not. If Uniform would continue to summon heartless, then she would continue to destroy them. It was that simple.

Looking over to the boy she had responded to, him now giving a response of his own, and explaining what the glowy ice thing he had surrounding him was. "Aura, huh?" The girl was not familiar with the term, though from the way the boy acted it seemed that he wasn't all too familiar with it either. However, for the most part it seemed to be something magical in nature, and something linked to being a master. While he didn't say what kind of master, Aeira could easily come to the conclusion that he meant a keyblade master. The girl furrowed her brow at this, seemingly displeased with the answer, but her face returned to normal as he said his name. Nodding, as though she were merely affirming that she now knew his name the girl said, "got it." As she went on to punch more heartless, she paused briefly, before turning back towards Kel and asking a question. "So, Kel. I take it that means you, and all of your other companions here with keyblades are masters?"

Regardless of the answer, the girl went back to punching the heartless around her, with very few neoshadows left, with her having already cleared a large swath through them. As one of the neoshadows jumped at her, the girl merely ducked underneath it, grabbing its leg as it passed over head. Looking towards the other heartless around, she spun once where she was standing, before tossing the neoshadow into another, causing them both to vanish. Running at full sprint towards four others, the girl jumped into the air, landing heavily on the ground and create a shockwave from her earth magic as she did. With the heartless off balance, Aeira grabbed towards two of the neoshadows, crashing them into each other before spin kicking the last two she was fighting. With the deed done, the heartless merely exploded into black smoke, having been defeated and destroyed.

Luna's eyes had widen as Karina started to yell at her. I don't know if Nequa is dead, I hope so but without a body, I am not going to assume anything, and Vanitas and Aux are still out there. That is just the start of our troubles. We can't just walk away from the paths we have chosen for one familiar face, so you will just have to learn to deal with it." As Karina walked off, Luna clenched her fist. She knew all to well that Karina was absolutely right. No matter how hard she tried, she knew she couldn't go with Koa and Koa couldn't go with her. She knew she would have to accept that fact. She looked over at Koa just as he turned to her. I know you'll be fine. I have to be able to trust you to come back. And I do.... She smiled at him. She looked back at Karina and smiled before shouting to her. "THANK YOU!" She smiled before running off toward Koa. As she ran, she saw some neoshadows running up toward her. She immediately started up a Blizzaga spell. As she did, she then started casting an Aeroga spell. The ice had grown and split into shards. She then used her Aeroga spell and pushed the ice shards toward the neoshadows. I know you'll come back. I know you will....You wouldn't dare leave me behind...You couldn't.....I'll wait for as long as it takes, even if it means centuries. I'll wait... Once the neoshadows had been eliminated, Luna continued her trek back over to Koa.

Koa looked over at Hikaru as he rested a hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry. We're all doing our best to keep each other safe. And I'm sure she appreciates everything you, Kiara and everyone else have done up until this point. She keeps us safe just as we keep her safe." He smiled a bit as Hikaru reassured him. Despite how worried he would be, he knew Luna would be able to handle herself. She was tough, he knew that all to well. "I know. She's tough. I trust her to take care of herself. I just worry she'll push herself too hard." He watched as Luna fought with Kiara. He knew she would be fine. Hikaru had started to recount the first time he had met her. He then stopped mid-sentence. He looked a little confused as he was curious as to what he was going to say. "Well, she was always kind. So it's not surprising that she's been helping us as much as she is now. You're quite a lucky Koa." He smiled as he laughed a little awkwardly. He thought back to some warning her father had told him. An idea had then struck through his head. He sighed a little bit. "You need to work on your lying a little bit. But I think I kind of know what you might be talking about. I won't go into details. But if she's around people like you, I can leave with a peace of mind. Thanks." He ran off toward Luna. He looked over to his left to see five darkballs. He immediately grabbed his spear and eliminated each one. Once the last darkball was eliminated, the two met up again. "Hey-!" The two started speaking but had been interuppted by some more neoshadows. "Together?" Koa smiled as he grabbed his spear. Luna smiled back as she answered. "Together!" The two ran off toward the neoshadows. Koa immediately used his spear to lift Luna into the air. She then pointed her keyblade downward toward the heartless. Koa formed his spear into a hammer. Luna casted a Fira spell toward Koa's hammer. His hammer had immediately lit up. Luna's blade had started to emit a blue light. As she made her way down, Koa lifted his hammer. As both weapons hit the ground, the fire and ice bursted forth as a shock wave cutting through the last few neoshadows. The two stood up and smiled at each other.
