Darkball heartless after darkball heartless, the darkball heartless continued to fall. He had gotten use to them at one point. At what point that was he did not know. At some points the darkball heartless seemed to have arms and a tail. while, at other times the darkball heartless what just a floting mess. A ball or a orb floating there. The darkball heartless itself has a spherical body that is pitch black and streaked with dark blue. Its glowing, yellow eyes are rather small. The inside of its mouth is blue, and the mouth itself is a jagged, toothy opening. Going back to the arms and tale now that he thought about it, The darkball Heartless has three thick, black and blue tentacles with frayed, pink tips sprouting out of its body; two are on its top, and one is on its underside. The darkballl heartless was a Heartless born purely out of darkness it seemed. Then he started thinking about the realm of drakness. The realm of darkness was well a realm made up of the Darkness of course. Moving through the horde, the boy got in a guarded stance as yet another Neo Shadow leaped at him. As the Neo Shadow had charged him, the boy stepped backward, immediately evading the first of the attacks from it. However, this way not enough as the Neo Shadow began to spin around, rushing into him and striking into unguarded self. The wind being knocked out of him, as the neo shadow's foot knocked into him, the boy skidded backward. Putting up his hands again, the heartless moved towards him with its claws, raking them over his arm causing a large cut to form across it. Wincing in pain, he looked for an opening against the heartless he was fighting, though the creature was moving much faster than usual and was unrelenting in its pressure. Trying to evade the attacks, the boy kept moving side to side. Punching forward, the boy struck the heartless's claw, with his weapon. He was able to destroying the claw entirely. Moving in closer to the creature, he then slid into it with his fist striking dead on into the creature's gut. As he forced the creature back, he then delivered one powerful roundhouse kick to the Neo Shadow's head, causing it to lurch to the side before being destroyed under the damage it had taken.

There was not was not much different he could do but to keep on going. It was hard to move anywhere to even attempt to find someone. The heartless seemed to want to keep everyone who was apart apart as long as they could. It was hard to think of what was going to come next after all this was over. If there was a after he kind of wondered what it would be. It could be a hundrand times worse then it was now. The other option was that it could be a relaxing retreat in comparation to what was was going on now. This was not even imagining what else there was to come in the next two waves. He was sure that even if he lived though this battle he would be somehow dead still. He knew that thinking this made no sense what so ever but when did anything make sense at any point over the last few, how ever long it has been. Time was one of thos things that was still hard to judge after all this time. For all he he knew all the events so far could have happened over a days time or many it was ten years, who really knew at this point.

"Yeah you know... where you came from, where you're going. What's your history and how you ended up in the realm of darkness. You know, that sort of thing. Watch your left." Hikaru held up his keyblade and fired a quick blizzard spell at a darkball that was approaching Koa from the rear. The darkball immediately froze in place, taking massive ice damage thanks to Hikaru's Diamond Dust Aura. The darkball continued falling to the ground and shattered upon falling to the ground, destroying itself on impact. "For instance, I went off searching for my friend Aux; that's him over there." Hikaru turned around and pointed to his red haired friend as he continued to hack and slash at the heartless canon fodder that were the darkballs. Aux wasn't even looking back because a small swarm had made their way over and were giving him a hard time. Not because of their strength, but because of the sheer amount that were floating around his head like giant mosquitoes. "He had this whole thing where he was following a dark path that led him to inevitably leave our home in Central Haven. He had some memories taken from a witch that controlled illusion, and he's better now I think... but well that's a whole other story. But I guess I should probably start at the beginning. My name is Hikaru." He quickly shook his hand realizing he hadn't even introduced himself. "And yeah, Kar- I mean Kiara I guess, was one of the first people I met looking for him. Anyways the story is that events kept happening and we've been traveling from world to world trying to set things right. We got knocked into the realm of darkness by Aux; again, that's him over there." Hikaru turned and pointed at his friend who was growing more agitated at the darkballs that kept appearing around him, punching and grunting as he was trying to make them distance themselves from him. "He's one of my best friends along with Kaida who is over... there." He quickly scanned the field before pointing out Kaida as the blonde girl on the other side of the field. "We all ended up taking the mark of mastery exam together and we all became keyblade masters. I think that's a pretty short abridged version of everything. I'm sure there's a bunch of stuff I could explain but-" Aux roared loudly as he continued to slash his keyblade at the darkballs, causing them to be eliminated one after the other. "Now's not the best time I think..." He looked over to Luna who had been launched onto another side of the field before looking back to Koa. "And glad you met up with Oswald. He's one of the people we met on our journey. Hope Mickey and the rest of them are okay." Hikaru thought back to the last time he saw them. Mickey was chasing Mizrabel through a portal after all his friends were abducted by the witch. He shook his head trying to focus on the task at hand though. "So I didn't catch your name by the way. Do you know Luna at all from the past?"

Back over with Finlay he was charging and yelling like a mad man, swinging his axes at any dark creature that dared stand in his way. He swung his axes back and forth to eliminate any of the heartless threat, watching neoshadow after neoshadow walk up to him, only to be imidiately destroying after meeting the end of his bladed weapons. His eyes remained locked onto Steel hoping the creature would be able to put up a challenge.

Giving Stratos a small smile in return, Aislinn turned her focus back to her battle. The silence that had fallen over those who were not new to the combat, or at least talking with those who were new was becoming deafening. It wasn't that there was anything wrong with the silence, and as she parried out of the way of an attack, Aislinn herself could feel her lungs burning. It was no wonder that people weren't talking, it was getting hard enough to breath as it was with the amount that was going on and the need to keep on their toes moving. As she spun once more, her muscles started to feel sore and protest, making Aislinn plant both feet on the ground instead of up on the balls of her feet like she had been to keep herself light and moving. The concept in theory was a good one, and had been working thus far, but it was better for shorter battles, the longer this one went, the more her body was failing her. While yes she was getting injured on occasion, it was more the fact that Aislinn wasn't used to having to fight this much without a break. It was wearing on her body, leaving it tired and unable to react as quickly as she wanted it to. Even as the heartless fell more easily to her blade, she still could feel her muscles tire with each swing of the keyblade and each time she launched herself forward for another attack.

Closing her eyes and taking a deep breath, Aislinn forced herself into another frenzy of attacks. There was no time to be wasting just relaxing even if her body was telling her that she needed it. A look of determination crossed her face as Aislinn forced herself forward to use a cross slash before dodging out of the way of another Neoshadow. Breathing heavily Aislinn continued to move, though she didn't want to. At this point if she stopped moving she would have a hard time getting going again. It was a matter of maintaining momentum at this point and that was something that she seemed to be doing rather well, as she cleaved through a heartless and kept her swing going as it wrapped around and bashed into another one. Two went down and she kept going, moving quickly to the next heartless, followed by one more, keeping herself moving through the smoke as her eyes scanned the battle field.

If she couldn't keep up with strength of the rest, she would just have to make up for it with how quickly she was killing the heartless. To Karina this started to feel like old times, except this time, instead of having Stratos at her side, she had Arctus. Her eyes drifted over to the boy who helped push her through the Battle of a thousand heartless, who had managed to stay with has as they not only finished off their own wave of heartless, but started to move around helping everyone else. Once more he was a force to be had. While sometimes he didn't seem too strong, when it came to things like this, there was no one that could match him. Not even she could keep up with as much as she tried. Every step she took she was still one behind Stratos. If it was anyone else than she would have been annoyed, but given it was him, there was nothing she could do about it, and Karina accepted that at this point and continued on with her fight against the Neoshadows and Dark balls that were around her.

As his slash made it was through the dark balls, the energy of light, fire and ice washed over the air, dissipating once the slash had finished. The blades started to have their own magic dissipate, the flame across one ending and the chill across the other thawing out. The blades of light as well turned back to their normal state as keyblades, as the boy fell back to the ground, landing harmlessly on the ground. The two keyblades were no longer radiating with energy, the limit having ended. The heartless that he cleaved through, however, had all ignited, froze or were generally destroyed by the attack he had just unleashed, the 30 of them merely returning to the darkness from whence they came as they exploded into dark smoke that merely flowed through the air and slowly dissipated from view. The boy looked at his blades, thinking it was amazing how many different powers he could channel through each of his weapons, and how having two of them was greatly enhancing the strength of his attacks. Then there was also the nature of his limit. He wasn't actually sure if what he just did would work, unsure of where the power of the job's command and power had lied in relation to his others, and wasn't sure if it would speak well, so to speak, with his other powers. However, the mixture of faith and red slash had worked flawlessly, and the intended result was even greater than he was expecting. Knowing there was great power in his command mixing, the boy wondered how the other powers would work if he had mixed them together, only having done this a select few times. All the same, it wasn't exactly something he could rapid fire off, and so instead he focused towards the other heartless that were still around, getting ready to try and build up his limit's power once again.

With blades at the ready, the boy charged towards yet another swarm of darkballs, that were merely floating around and took note of the boy. Letting out a chortle as they saw him rush towards them, the dark balls vanished from sight, causing the boy to stop in his tracks, aware of what was coming next. As the dark ball appeared next to him, coming out from a dark portal, the boy was expecting something like that, and merely ignited both of keyblades as he went in for a fire slash against them. As more dark balls appeared near him, through a similar manner trying to bite at him, the boy repeated this process over and over again. Each time, he guarded with his keyblade against the attack or rolled out of the way of the bite, managing to absorb or avoid most of the damage, though a few bites had managed to get past his defenses. Grimacing in pain, the boy wasn't going to stop however, as he continued to let loose a flurry of slashes into the swarm of heartless. Each time he did, he preformed another variation of red slash, his blades seeming to change color and effects as different elemental magics continued to form across them. All the same, the boy managed to cleave his way through the large gathering of heartless, coming out somewhat worse for wear from the exchange.

As Aeira continued her rhytmic punching against the neo shadows, she noticed one that seemed to manage to avoid her initial punch. With her flow being disrupted from this, the girl looked at the neo shadow, and as it jumped at her to get an attack in, she merely grabbed at its arm. Looking over to the other neoshadows, rather than punch them, she started to use her newly acquired neoshadow to beat the current ones to death with.

Keep moving, she could do that. She kept on her feet and dodged out of the way of a few attacks. Aislinn had surveyed the field to see who was doing well and what was going on. For the most part things were exactly as she had expected them to be. It was clear that this new group was no amateurs though. They were holding their own as well as anyone else in this battle, despite the fact that they didn't have keyblades of their own. It was almost entertaining watching the bigger man with the ax go about this battle. He seemed to have a lot of fight in him and Aislinn wished luck to all of his allies that had to deal with him. From what she could tell just by watching him for a moment, that he was a hard one to deal with, had a lot of energy to him, or at least it seemed that way. The girl who made the big entrance seemed to be more familiar with those around her, though much to Aislinn's surprise not as many people were talking to her as she had originally thought. Then Hikaru and Aux were talking to another boy who had quickly run over and caught Luna's attention. To her it was interesting watching how everyone was getting along now, perhaps that was just something she found interesting, but it at least gave Aislinn something to contemplate as she fought the heartless that were now coming at her from all sides. There was not a chance she would let them catch her off guard though as she shifted her balance and adjusted to give the muscles on her right side a bit of a break and fight the heartless focusing more on using her left, less dominate side for fighting.

When Karina turned her attention back away from Stratos, she scanned the rest of the people. Guilt still sat in her heart when looking at Beuce due to what had happened the last time she was in this battle and ended up falling unconscious. That was not going to happen again, and even if she did, she was sure that Arctus would have her back. Karina was just thankful that there was no mutated behemoths to face. These Neoshadows were nothing compared to Derpy the Derpmoth, or Arma or even Free Willy Cat. The heartless in that battle were all insane and stupid and Karina didn't know how to handle them, meaning at some times she seemed to find her mind broken. It was really weird really, Karina didn't like thinking back on those times, it was not pleasant to say the least and to say she had lost it during that battle was an understatement. Glancing back to Arctus she certainly hoped that it didn't happen again during this battle. She had enough embarrassment for one day, she didn't need to add to it by losign her cool.

Wanting to show off a little more of what she had learned to do, Karina channeled her flames through her whip and sent it flying at the heartless, causing a bit of an explosion that took out some of the heartless around it as well. It was just a shame that there was no fire based heartless here, if there was she could show off her fire eater ability. That being said after the explosion at the lab, perhaps she had enough of that for one day. Though she had been healed, Karina could still feel the faint ache from where the injuries should have been, she was just thankful for the power that Lea had given her, if it wasn't for that then she would have been dead.

One after the other, as the heartless came towards him, Stratos managed to fight and fell each of the heartless. He was starting to get into a rhythm himself, responding with every attack he received from the heartless with one of his own. The pressure that they were exerting was incredible, but despite that being the case the boy didn't feel at all like he was about to give in to it. Instead, it pushed him further and further, to continue slashing through each and every one of the heartless that were coming his way. He found himself getting more and more pumped up, his body moving entirely on instinct as he tried to go faster and faster against the heartless, achieving his own sort of lethal tempo. With the wave of dark balls that he had just fought being felled, he was not about to stop and decided to continue to press the attack against them. Running forward, another cluster of dark balls looked his way as they charged towards him, maws at the ready to try and stop him. As they flew at him, they tried to bite down on him one after the other, which prompted the boy to, rather than charge at them, roll back away from them. The swarm of dark balls came at him like a tide, with each of them flying forward and trying to chomp down on him. However, backing away, they instead bit against air, and their momentum was broken by, rather than stopping at the boy, crashing into the ground. As he managed to avoid the tide of dark balls, the boy then pressed the offensive against the heartless and went in for an attack of his own.

Twirling the first keyblade of his, the boy tossed it forward into the swarm, the blade spinning like a helicopter blade as he used Strike Raid to give it the power to slash through the swarms. As it cleaved into one of the dark balls, it seemed to slow down and as it moved through more and more, it eventually veered off course and was flung away from the tide. As that was happening, though, the boy used the other keyblade to charge it with thunder magic. Magical energy began to flow through him and into his blade, as the tip of the keyblade seemed to have an electrical charge to it. As the electricity gathered more and more, it eventually formed a familiar orb of lightning which the boy merely pointed at the swarm of dark balls. With a shout, he said, "thunder bell!" The orb of lightning flew forward, breaking against the tide of heartless and letting loose a shocking explosion that managed to tear through each of the dark ball heartless, causing them to pause as they were being shocked. As the lightning continued to course through their bodies, the tide of dark balls started to convulse, letting loose a small screech of pain before exploding into the same dark smoke they always had, indicating their defeat. Summoning his keyblade back to his hand, the boy looked onward to see what next in this swarm he would deal with.

After going clubbing with one of the neo shadow heartless, Aeira turned her attention to more that seemed to pop out of the ground. They jumped at her, all seven at once from all different angles. As it was, there was no way the girl could dodge all the attacks, so she instead decided to power through them. A small aura of earth magic crossed her, before fading away and leaving her skin looking more rigid. Pushing through the heartless, Aeira punched her way through the neo shadows, tanking the slashes from their claws and seeming to be in little pain or trouble from the attacks she took.

After he had, As he forced the creature back, he then delivered one powerful roundhouse kick to the Neo Shadow's head, causing it to lurch to the side before being destroyed under the damage it had taken he thought about time. Time, a unknown. A day, a week, a year or ten. Who knew at this point. Really it could all be a dream and it still would still have the same effect. At one point of the battle it felt like there was a time dilation which can be described as the feeling that time has slowed down. Then there was right now which felt like time compression which can be described as the experience of time speeding up and passing much quicker than it usually would. More and more Neoshadow heartless had in fact set their sights upon him. He just had to take one battle at a time and keep on going. Weather or not thing were move faster or not it was hard to say at this point. The heartless may or may not be thinning faster. This too was hard to say. In fact all of this thinking was to buy some time to just think and think until the right moment. Really there was no point in thinking the same result would come from it, weather or not any time or a lot of time was spent thinking. Thinking what a wonderfull thing to do and he had plently of time to do it. It seemed like time had stoped for him for a moment. The Neroshow heartless had saved him the trouble of closing distance as they had all gone after him at once. Despite that, they still attacked him one at a time in the same method that they had done so before. They struck shortly after one of their own was felled by his blade, keeping him on his toes as he continued cutting through them. He continued to fight against the neoshadow heartless. The heartless continuing to exude an offensive pressure against him. He had to keep on Trying to stop them before they could get close enough to do more damage to him. He was somewhat thankfull that there was no mirrors on this isl;and because he was sure he did not look good at all. A mirror an object that reflects light in such a way that, for incident light in some range of wavelengths, the reflected light preserves many or most of the detailed physical characteristics of the original light. There was not much light hear to begin with so he was somewhat unsure on how it would work in such a place.

A large puff of black smoke still filled the air. The smell of smoke was just there. He started thinking about the combat so far, at some point it seemed simple and fast. At other times combat seemed dangerous while, at other time it was just random. Like spells would go off in the sky and disappear then then next moment there would not be a thing for some time. Then the magic spells would go off once again. He then thought about the darkness around him. How it was so dark was beyond him. Was it the heartless or something else? For all he knew uniform somehow did this to the island. Thinking about the island he had completely forgotten that he was on a island. He had been so focused on fighting he had not stopped to think where he was or what he was doing. He just did things as they came to him. It was almost natural in a way in what was going on.

Koa looked over at the boy as he was explaining what he had meant. "Yeah you know...where you cam from, where you're going. What's your history and how you ended up in the realm of darkness. You know, that sort of thing. Watch your left." Koa took a step to the left as the boy shot out a spell at an approaching heartless. Koa had saw some darkballs approaching the two. He ran over to the darkballs and immediately impaled them with his spear, causing them to vanish. After the heartless had been taken care of, the boy went on to talk about his friend and himself before introducing himself. "So I didn't catch your name by the way. Do you know Luna at all from the past?" Koa was silent for a little bit as to figure out how to answer Hikaru's question. After a few more moments, he answered. "My name is Koa. Koa Salavic. I do know Luna quite a bit actually. Well more than a bit." He paused a moment before looking back. "Hold on. Step to your right." He took ahold of his spear and ran it through another two darkballs. Once the heartless were eliminated, he looked back to Hikaru. "Luna is actually my fiance though this is the first time we've seen each other in two years, according to her. I've been stuck in the realm of darkness for a bit but I didn't realize how long I was gone." Koa took ahold of his necklace a bit as he reminisce a bit.

Luna looked over as Karina as she talked to her. "There is no reason to thank me. Just do me a favour and don't let him die, we still have work to do back in the realm of darkness. There is an old friend messing with some things he shouldn't." Luna was a little surprised to hear that from Karina. Koa had to go back? She didn't know how to react. Karina went on to explain her weapon. Before she knew it, Karina had went on to talk to Arctus. Luna gripped her blade. She looked over to see a small group of darkballs skulking around. Koa has to go back?? But...I just got him back.....no... Luna immediately ran over and started attacking the group. One by one they had all fell by Luna's blade. She grabbed her necklace and shook her head to shake away that fear. The fear of parting with Koa once more. She casted her Blizzaga spell and creathed another path of ice. She glided down the path and took down each darkball that had been caught on the path. As she reached the end of the ice path, each darkball had vanished into thin air. She looked up and tried to find him.

The swarms of heartless kept coming and Aislinn let her mind wonder once more trying to deal with the situation the best that she could. Her mind drifted back to before she had a keyblade, it was before her parents died. Something about her parents death and the desire to fight to protect her sister seemed to be the catalyst to bring her keyblade to her. Was it the tragedy that brought the keyblade to her aid, or perhaps how she dealt with it. Everyone here seemed to have gone through their own hardships, but each of them were still fighting instead of running and hiding or giving up, it must have been part of the reason that they had it. Aislinn always knew that strength of heart was something that keyblade wielders had to have, but perhaps she also needed something to show the strength of ones heart. If there was nothing to test yourself against then there as no way of knowing how long that strength would hold up. For Aislinn the hardship was the loss of her parents and the war against the heartless in her town. With her being just eighteen when her parents died, someone had to take care of Sarah, and keep her safe. While sure they could have found someone to look after them, at that point they were both old enough that they didn't want anyone else in their lives. That being said, they needed to support themselves, and that wasn't possible if they were both depressed, so Aislinn had to learn to be strong. As the heartless moved in closer she knew that she couldn't just sit back anymore either and help her sister ignoring all those around her, she needed to pick up a sword and fight alongside everyone else, it would be the best way to protect her sister. It was only so long after that before her keyblade came to her, and Aislinn was sent searching for someone to train her in how to use it. The training seemed to pay off seeing how she was managing to deal with the heartless here and now, even if she couldn't use the training to save her world yet, at least something was better than nothing, she had a place to start, she was quickly gaining power and now she was at the point that if she went home, she was sure she could make a difference, it was no longer just a maybe.

The battle stretched on before her and while Arctus and Luna were fighting at a respectable speed, Karina found herself pushing herself more than she should to keep going, keep fighting. There was a jealousy of the power of those around her. She hated that she was so weak compared to them. At one point she used to be the strongest and now she was struggling to make a difference. While Karina was starting to get over her power hungry habits, it was not something that she broke in a day. It took a lot of time fore her to get over herself, and not feel the need to outdo everyone. From visiting her home world the thing Karina learned was that she would never be strong enough, and there was nothing that she could do about it. She had to deal with her problems another way and not just add strength until she was strong enough to rip apart the world. It would get her nowhere in the long run if she didn't deal with the issues in her heart, issues that Karina was still lost on how to deal with.

"Thanks. And it's a pleasure to meet you Koa," Hikaru nodded after his quick save on destroying the heartless on his rear. "Luna is actually my fiance though this is the first time we've seen each other in two years, according to her. I've been stuck in the realm of darkness for a bit but I didn't realize how long I was gone." Koa took a hold of his necklace a bit as he reminisce a bit. Hikaru's eyes widened at the sudden news that Luna was engaged to him. "Wow... Luna's engaged? I mean, I know we learned that she was a princess of heart and all, but I didn't know that you were the one she was planning to marry." He had only recently learned that Luna was a princess of heart, but the sudden news threw him for a loop since he didn't really consider that people might have romantic partners waiting for them back home. He turned to Aux to deliver the news to him. "Hey Aux, you hear that? This is Koa! He's actually Luna's fiancee!"

Aux at this point was still struggling with fighting the dozens of darkballs that were still floating around his head. Not so much struggling from difficulty, but over the frustration of actually having to get rid of them all. Much as he would've liked to leave them be, he couldn't consciously leave the dark creatures to thier own devices for fear they could actually hurt someone that wasn't adequately prepared to fight them. After slashing through another couple darkballs, he yelled back at Hikaru in a very frustrated tone. "NOW IS NOT THE TIME HIKARU!" He said, thrusting his keyblade into another darkball, before watching them smoke from it's elimination fade past his face. Right, not the time, my bad!" He yelled and waves before scratching the back of his head and turning back to Koa. "So you're engaged to a princess, huh? That's gotta be pretty interesting. I mean, you're practically a prince to be then, yah?" Hikaru quickly spun around and performed a quick combo on the couple of darkballs that were approaching them. He slashed his keyblade a few times, watching his extra ice damage from his diamond dust aura do most of the grunt work as ice crystals solidified themselves around the darkballs before Hikaru finished them off with his combo finishers.

Back with Finlay, the dynamic viking was still trudging along preparing to take down the dark furred canine beast. He slashed his axes through several neoshadows making his way towards Steel. His steps were decreasing in speed, but the intensity was still in his eyes to challenge and take down the clothed wolf. He cleaved his axes through several of the heartless as his axes and body were becoming charged with more and more electricity. The massive buff he had given himself with Thor's lightning strike on his body was beginning to slowly deteriorate. He still had plenty of strength and speed left, but he could feel his speed slowly decrease. He slashed his axes as more and more neoshadows jumped up to him just to meet the end of his electric bladed axes. As Finlay walked he took a deep inhale through the manly nostril and exhaled through his mouth that smelled of lamb meat and grinned as he walked. This setting right here is what he was accustomed to. The glory of battle and the thrill of the hunt, continuing to march forward as if he were an army of one preparing to wage war on whatever enemy crossed him.

"Can I help you, sir?" Steel shouted to the distant form of the strange Viking madman that had been shouting his own name earlier. Finlay, it would seem. The barbarous Norseman seemed to have fixed his focus on Steel for some reason and was dashing towards him whilst he cackled madly and slaughtered every heartless in his path. It was a lot like looking in a mirror in several ways, though insanity was no longer his current state. Of course, that didn't exactly make it any less unsettling. As he stabbed at an errant Neoshadow trying to sneak up on him and swung around his weapon to decapitate another, Steel calmly pondered what he had done to gain the man's violent brand of attention. Since it was a Viking, he probably just wanted Steel's pelt on his wall or some such.

He sighed as the berserker continued to storm towards him. He just sort of stood there waiting... and eviscerating all the heartless that came near his location, but waiting patiently for his addressee to respond, nevertheless.

Watching Luna start to walk off, Karina wondered if it was something that she had said. For once in her life she wasn't actually attempting to chase anyone off, but she sat there and watched as Luna started walking away in the direction of Koa, Hikaru and the red haired boy that she couldn't quite figure out who he was still. She had at least seen the other two before she had left with Lea, this boy was a complete mystery to her though. Luna seemed to be a little upset and Karina couldn't figure out what she had done this time. Sure she deserved it for plenty of times before, but having come back and just watching people who once were her friends, or acquaintances anyways, walk away from her instead of fighting at her side. Perhaps she had created a greater gap between her and everyone else than she had originally thought. Karina had never let herself think about it before, convinced herself it didn't matter, instead filling her head with thoughts of power, but now that she had given that up, she realized how lonely she really was. Sure Arctus was at her back now, but part of her had hoped when she came back to save her friends, that they would be excited to see her. Instead Ananta and Luna stopped by for short periods of time while the rest gave her a cold shoulder while they went about talking to each other and fighting along side those they were closer with. Perhaps she had put more distance between herself and everyone else than she though.

Turning away Karina focused her attention towards the direction that Uniform was, watching him closely as she fought through the heartless. If no one else cared she was there, she wouldn't care for them, instead dealing with the heartless until she made her way over to her one true goal, made her way over and killed Uniform. It would just be a small step in the direction that she was heading. He was the first person to kill if she was going to kill her past and move on with her life. She had learned that strength alone she couldn't do it, but apparently she couldn't rely on friends all that well either, so determination had to be the answer. Instead of running and hoping it went away, she would simply have to face it head on and go to whatever ends to deal with it, starting with the pain that thought it a good idea to get on her bad side by constantly bringing up the past that she was trying to leave behind. One day... eventually she would get to her father.

Aislinn continued to think back to her life at home learning about the keyblade and those first days after her parents death. However hard this battle was, it was nothing compared to the struggles of getting her life started again, getting up every morning and making lunch for her and her sister. It was those times that she learned what strength really was. It was the ability to keep moving when things seemed like they were impossible. It was that same strength that Aislinn carried into battle with her. Sure she was physically strong for the most part, but it was how she carried herself, the inner strength that she knew was important and the reason that she could get her way through things. As long as she had that strength, even as her body tired she could still fight to the very end. There was no laying down and waiting to die for her, that was not an option, she couldn't let it be with something like this.

With both of his keyblades back in his hands, Stratos looked towards the swarm of heartless as they continued to move all around. Assessing the situation, it seemed that the sea of dark balls was considerably lower in quantity then when he had first started to tear into them, a large quantity of them having been entirely destroyed. Looking around, he saw the efforts of everyone else beginning to come to fruiton, as it appeared this wave was going down far easier than the second one did. In fact, it might have been at the same pace as the first one was. Looking around, he knew that Mizu and Shiro were hard at work, both of them dealing with the swarms of heartless but also keeping the man summoning them at bay. If he could summon this many heartless at once, and continue to toe to toe with the Order, Stratos had no doubt that he was truly a powerful foe, and wasn't sure how well the group would stack up against him otherwise. Furthermore, Shiro seemed to be capable of making all of them far stronger than they normally would be, which was a power Stratos couldn't even begin to fathom how it was possible. Generally, he had a basis to go off of that he would be able to copy, but both what Shiro was doing and the magnitude to which he was doing it was entirely foreign to him. The more he thought about it, the more he realized just what it meant to be a member of the order and how much of an elite group of keyblade wielders they were. While Stratos felt like he was starting to fully catch up, he realized just how far a way he still had to go to become a true keyblade master as he watched the two members of the order get to work.

Focusing back to the battle at hand, Stratos's attention was drawn away from the heartless around him, as he thinned out a fair few of them. Instead, he heard a rather irritated yell come from elsewhere, his attention being focused to where Hikaru was. The yell itself had actually come from Aux, who seemed to be in the midst of dealing with his own swarm of dark balls, and the two of them were with someone that Stratos didn't recognize. Thinking he was probably a member of the group that had come alongside Karina, a group of people who seemed to be fine holding their own against the heartless at the moment, he figured the trio of them could use a hand. More specifically, Aux. Looking to Aislinn he said, "Aislinn, I'm going to assist them over there. Keep safe." Bending down, the boy began to focus as his familiar cherry blossom petals fluttered in a nonexistent breeze. In an instant, he was gone from where he was standing, instead nearer to Aux now. As he appeared, a large quantity of heartless were slayed, exploding in a puff of darkness. Looking to Aux, with a smirk on his face, he said, "you look like you're struggling a bit."

With one wave of neoshadows down, the light was beginning to shine at the end of the tunnel. The girl was making surprising progress in pummeling these heartless, but it was quite irritating for her. She was more suited for dealing with singular larger opponents, and having to fight a swarm was a bit out of her comfort zone. All the same, she wasn't going to slow down just yet, and instead continued to punch into each and every one of the heartless near her destroying them in a single blow.

Koa looked back at Hikaru and listened as he reacted. "Wow...Luna's engaged?" Koa scratched his head a bit as Hikaru continued. "I mean, I know we learned that she was a princess of heart and all.." Koa's eyes widen over what he had heard. She's one of the seven?!?! What??? Hikaru continued. "But I didn't know that you were the one she was planning to marry." Koa shook his head a bit as if to push back his thoughts and listened before responding. "Well it's understandable why she didn't mention anything. Before I disappeared, the engagement was a pretty recent event. I'd imagine that she wouldn't really mention too much." Some darkballs had started to approach the two. Koa grabbed his metal cube and immediately formed it into a scythe. He ran over and immediately cut the darkballs in half, one by one. Once he had made sure the darkballs disappeared. He looked back to Hikaru as he spoke up again. "So you're engaged to a princess, huh? That's gotta be pretty interesting. I mean, you're practically a prince to be then, yah?" Koa placed a hand on his chin as he pondered. He never really thought about that. He never really thought about titles or status. "To be honest, I could care less about titles or social status. I proposed to Luna because of who she is on the inside, not for her status as a princess. Speaking of which...." He paused before continuing with a concerned expression on his face. "What do you mean she's a princess of heart? How could she be one of the seven? Just what exactly has happened to her while she was with your group??" He was getting quite worried over the new information he had just been told and worried about the events that might've transpired while he was away.

Aislinn supposed that it was fair enough that Stratos was moving on to deal with helping more people, but it still left her feeling a little lonely as he moved on and she was left to fight more or less on her own in that side of things. While it was fine, she could handle it, it wasn't the first thing that she wanted to do. Besides it providing entertainment it also provided reason to fight. A person to protect other than herself. While Sarah wasn't there, Aislinn began to imagine her sisters smile. She imagined the reason behind her strength, someone to fight for. At this point it wasn't fighting to protect her or make her life easier. Aislinn was fighting to return to her sister. She knew that Sarah wouldn't be able to handle it if she never returned. She knew how heart broken her sister would be if she died here on this battle field. That was her reason to fight. It wasn't for her own sake even though it was fighting to keep herself alive, she was doing it for others. Just that thought helped give Aislinn focus. With that in mind she was able to look Stratos straight in the eye and offer him a nod. "Yeah, you stay safe too, and show them how it is done." Aislinn encouraged Stratos, though she knew Aux really didn't need to be shown up by anyone, it would still be entertaining to watch from a distance at the very least.

Flipping over top one of the Neoshadows, Aislinn sliced at it's back getting a second wind.... or a third wind... or a fourth. At this point she wasn't quite sure which one she was at or how she was doing, honestly she was just going for it. Moving around the side of another group of them Aislinn pounded one heartless into several more before summoning her keyblade back to her and using it to charge her way through the next grouping. There was now some gaps in the defenses of the Neoshadows. Not enough that Aislinn could consider it time for a break, but enough that she was gaining confidence that there would be an end to this coming in a relatively short amount of time. If she kept up the pace that she was going, there would be no issues dealing with the heartless, hopefully opening a path for them to deal with the man who was creating the heartless, though that was a big if.

Karina would never admit that she was upset, though her attacks lost some of the flare they had before and degraded mainly into harsh fast slashes with her whip as she tore through the heartless. As one got too close to her, Karina didn't even try and use her weapon, instead using her already clenched fist to punch it. When it fell prone, she took advantage of that as well as she stomped on it's face. Sure it wasn't nearly as effective as a proper attack and it took a little longer, but it still did the job and get some of Karina's anger out, though that was very little considering how good she had been behaving. It had been long enough that since she had last had a full on fit, that she had a lot of pent up rage that she was more than happy to take out on the heartless. Even as she did her eyes were still glued on Uniform fighting Shiro in the distance. While it wouldn't be right away, she was going to get over there and kill that over confident son-of-a-bitch.

Aeira continued to brawl against the neoshadows in front of her, one after the other as they came. The first one lunged from underneath the ground, trying to slash at her with its claws attempting to rake them against her body. Being able to react to this in time, though, the girl lifted up her gauntlet and managed to stop the attack from connecting altogether. Reeling back a fist, ready to punch into the head of the neo shadow, she was then ambushed by a different set of neoshadows, a pair that tried to attack her from behind. Trying to keep her balance on the fight, she stepped backward and put up her hand blocking against the first attack of the neoshadow. However, as both of her arms were now occupied she couldn't do much to stop the third claw from scraping across her back. Her face becoming more irritated, as her now stone skin took the blow, the girl pulled back both of her hands to turn and face the heartless that attacked her. With a singular punch, she managed to knock the head off of the neoshadow cleanly, destroying it in almost an instant. As the other two that attacked her tried to back off, the girl reached out with both of her hands, grabbing at the arms of the neoshadows that were trying to escape. Slamming the two creatures together, she managed to vanquish them, with only four more being around her.

As they circled around her, waiting for an opportunity to pounce, the girl kept her focus steady and ready to deal with the creatures. As they first charged her, she brought up one hand to block the first set of claws that tried to rake against her. Bringing up the second gauntlet as the second one ran at her, she knew that she was now exposed but didn't seem to mind much. As one tried to run at her back, the girl merely stomped on the ground, causing a tremor to shake through the ground. As it did, the creature stumbled and couldn't complete its attack as a fourth one ran at her. Pushing off the leg she used to stomp with, she brought up her other foot in a mid air sweeping kick, striking the heartless clean in the head. Moving her gauntleted hands around the claws they were guarding against, she grabbed onto both of the arms, spinning the bodies around as she too was spinning the air. As she landed back on the ground, she brought both of the neoshadows she was grasping onto down onto the one on the ground, killing all three of them in one fell swoop. With that done, the heartless had exploded into darkness, leaving Aeira needing to find more opponents to punch through, a small competitive feeling rushing through her as she saw how easily the rest of the keyblade wielders seemed to be dispatching through the waves.

After Stratos's grand entrance, there seemed to be yet another swarm of dark balls floating towards the quartet, ready to chomp down on all of them, swarming around. Taking a deep breath, the boy's gravity aura flickered, before erupting in a plume of black and purple darkness, his aura having shifted as a result. Looking at the swarm, he readied his keyblades, rushing headlong into the fray, swinging his keyblades in a flurry of slashes, letting loose a combo through them all. At the end of his combo, the boy dismissed both of the keyblades, creating a large claw of darkness that he swung at the swarm, destroying the dark balls in one fell swipe.

He moved forward slightly and unleashed a flurry of blows before the one of the darkballs heartless could escape. His combo hitting was successful as the one of the darkball heartless faded into darkness. From the corner of his eye, he could see many of the smaller shadow heartless sinking into the ground and heading right for him. He moved back and began to stand far from the heartless as he could. He whacked his way through the wave as they mad there way towards him. The heartless were trying to reach him still desite his fighting style. He noticed that fighting the once adament heartless seemed relatively easy to him now. He kept moving until the large darkball blocked his path. He froze in place, backing up a bit at the size of the above average darkball heartless. He backed up and use his back ended up next to the same palm tree. While he wasn't the fastest, he thin he could manage to race around behind the heartless before hitting the heartless with his knife. The power of the knife did a number on the darkball heartless, doing massive damage and causing the heartless to decrease in speed. Seizing his opportunity, he unleashed a quick torrent of slashes before the darkball heartless finally dispersed. He continued to look around for any of the massive darkball heartless he had never seen before before backing up slowly. His back eventually hit something, as he was stunned before turning around. and saw that it was still the palm tree. With his slashing of heartless having managed to destroy a large swath of them.

It would do him no good to try and destroy every last heartless that was here and instead it was better to slowly destroy the ones in front of him to systematically lower their numbers. Perhaps at some point he might see the others and they would then try to destroy some. Through his combined efforts he would be able to get through this swarm of heartless with no problem. Of course, in front of him to start with was two of those darkball heartless shadow creatures that he had run into before. While he was fast enough to not get hit he was not taking any chances. At this point some more darkballs formed a swarm behind him. Regular shadows were far slower in comparison to their more matured versions. As such, he could not just run past the darkballs and expect to continue fighting them. More to the point, he could not actually just kill them in an instant either, as they had proven to be more difficult to actually land a blow on then their smaller counterparts. Add to the fact that while in this state of his he could not actually.

Regardless, he began to ran at them, and the darkball was ready for him. The first of the darkballs seemed to flop down to the ground trying to stop what he was doing. The darkball then began spinning at him. He was unsure of what was looking at, but the darkball heartless seemed to be more like a wheel of raw slashing power that he wanted to not deal with at all. so, as the spinning darkball heartless moved towards him, he jumped over the heartless. he brought his blade into it by shoving the blade backwards killing the darkball. Bringing his blade up into a guard, he then blocked the next attack as another of the darkballs came his way.

Having heard the response from the rest, Ananta looked over to the sound of a....guy yelling and attempting to run towards Steel? That struck her as odd since he almost looked like he wanted to kill Steel or something. Ananta wasn't too sure if she should go and help. After all, Steel was strong enough, he'd be fine probably. The last time she tried to help somebody, they ended up hating her in the end. But Steel was her friend, he'd probably appreciate at least a familiar face, right? Shrugging, Ananta started to trudge over to Steel. She also wanted to find out if he knew why the guy was trying to get to him.

She stopped upon the appearance of five Darkballs. They seemed to be attached to a Neoshadow in a weird way. Like a string was visibly there, but it was more or less made of darkness. It was amusing, to say the least, and since Ananta wasn't doing much else, she decided to end their little party. She summoned her keyblades and rushed forward, attempting to cut the Neoshadow, but it had began to float upwards by the weight of the balloon heartless alone. Blinking, Ananta looked up to see the Neoshadow was now launched down towards her. It clawed at her, but it was met by her keyblade, causing it to stop. She then stabbed the Neoshadow. The Darkballs were now free and now they wanted revenge for ruining their party. Each Darkball ran into Ananta, hitting her from all sides. Battered and bruised, Ananta fell to her knees. Glaring upwards, she then started to assault each one with a flurry of attacks. Once she was done, she landed on her feet and returned her keyblades. The Darkballs collectively disappeared in puffs of smoke, leaving her to assess the damage.

"Bunch of bruises but...that's it I guess?" she said, dusting herself off of any sand. Her journey continued as she approached Steel and glanced back over to the strange man approaching. "Any idea who that guy is?" she asked, tilting her head. "Do you need help...?" She looked up to Steel. Her eyes caught glimpse of four Darkballs floating about. "I guess we'll just have to wait for the guy to get any answers, huh...?" she said, summoning her keyblades. She the jumped forward and attacked the first Darkball. It went down easily, while an ice spell smacked the second one into oblivion. The third one took a little longer, but it was gone too. The last one just took a single fire spell before it puffed out.

Ananta landed beside Steel and she readied herself in case the man came to attack Steel. "How's the fight been for you? I'd say things were interesting on my p-" she was cut off by a Neoshadow grabbing her and pulling her to the ground. It kept a tight grip on her, covering her mouth as she struggled against it. There was nothing she could do, but her eyes looked at Steel in desperation.

After bringing his blade up into a guard, he then blocked the next attack as another of the darkballs came his way. The large darkball in the distance had appeared to be amused by His attemets of attacking. He made a gesture and fortunately for the keyblade wielder, there weren't any other darkball heartless of that massive of a size. He did not want to deal with another exploding darkball heartless but it looked like that was not a potion. Instead this time he choose to play the numbers game and had the smaller darkball heartless come towords him. fourdarkball heartless were sent his way, all grouped up to make it so that he would not be able to take them down in one strike. He knew that he was ruining low on energy he felt tired. He would have to rely on his own skills to deal with this threat, which was not too much of an issue as he had done this song and dance before. Not to mention he had a few more tricks up his sleeves. While he thought on this, the darkballs and shadows seemed to merge into the one being. This was not the case but they were so close together at this point they looked like one thing. The darkballs fortunately did not seem all that smart or maybe they were and this was all so he would lower his gard. The darkball heartless was not all that intimidating of a sight by, more strange. No matter the thoughts were pushed away and he went on the offensive and deal blow. It was successful in striking down some of the darkball. His original plan was to strike away at the darkball heartless until it was gone. He had to deal with as many of the darkballs heartless as he could. As they floated his way they had fallen flat on the ground. Now he needed to think of something else while dodging the heartless's repetitive attacks on him. It may have been the same size as him, but its mass made its attacks slow and easy to dodge.

Everything around him seemed to be keeping up nearly as well as he was. He was fighting hard he could tell. There still there was hardly an end in sight. They would need to put a lot of work in in order to get any further with this fight. That being said the big threat still loomed over him in the form of the darkball heatless that was clumped together. He would need to deal with this before he was allowed time to relax a bit. Then he might be able to deal with the small enemies. As much as he would like to join the fight reducing down the numbers, left unchecked this could be a problem. As long as he could not get those countless heartless under control he should not rest. be too much of a problem. Though having their numbers cut down by some now seemed to have made it somewhat easier. He could see them start to dart around him trying everything they could do to get to him. Jumping back a little to the palm tree. The darkball heartless did not seem to be giving him any chances. He had to get a chance to hit the darkball heartless. The next thing he knew the darkball heartless came towards him. As the mass of the group of dark heartless came at him he took a few swings clearly hurting. With a few more swings of his blade the drakball heartless was gone.

As Hikaru listened he looked onward to Luna. "Yeah, she's a caring one alright." Hikaru had met Luna in Dwarf Woodlands and ever since she had been a committed and prominent part of their brigade. Koa paused before continuing with a concerned expression on his face. "What do you mean she's a princess of heart? How could she be one of the seven? Just what exactly has happened to her while she was with your group??" Hikaru could see that his words were beginning to worry him and he tried to pick his next words carefully. He didn't want to cause any more trouble than he might've already caused with Luna, but he knew that Koa truly cared for her and wanted to show his support by informing him of what he needed to know. "To be honest, we ourselves don't really know what the whole choosing of princess of heart procedure works. All I know is that during the middle of our mark of mastery exam we were transported to a few digital worlds, and inside those worlds held three lists that depicted the names of the princesses of hearts. A good twenty one candidates of who could be a possible target since the bad guys are trying to reveal the final keyhole. Luna was on one of the lists, so that's all we really have to go on. " He looked down and reflected on all the times he had traveled with her to different worlds. Dwarf Woodlands, Timeless River and Beast's Castle were just a few that he had been to, most of them being in the realm of light before being thrown into darkness. "Can't say I'm too surprised to be honest though. Luna has a very bright, kind heart, and it's said that the seven princesses all have the most purest of hearts. So I guess, it's more of a compliment than anything," he said with a reassuring smile.

Over with Aux, he was still taking care of the darkballs in the most violent way possible. The balls kept bobbling their heads over towards him as he pierced the sky and slashed at their floating head, even letting loose a powerful fire spell just to create an explosion to get some distance from the creatures. As much as he leapt up to destroy them with a flurry of aerial combos and finishers, their rushing and twitching erratic attacks continued to hit him. While the damage was minor, it was still infuriating for him to deal with. He hacked and slashed getting upset to the point where he pointed his keyblade to one of the darkballs and saw a twinge of darkness create a suction like noise, watching the darkness leave the darkball before destroying it. The darkness fell into Aux, leaving him feeling refreshed. He had just used the Drain spell he used back in Shibuya which began to worry him. He didn't want to resort to using the dark spells and auras unless absolutely necessary. He didn't want tto reactivate the dark remnant he knew was still buried in his hart.

Destroying several more neoshadows on his way to Steel, Finlay leapt forward and tackled Steel onto his back. He held his axes and used them like scissors as he prepared to decapitate him. This was actually quite hilarious as Steel had just greeted himself a moment earlier. But all Finlay could see was the wolf, prompting him to stand tall over the anthropomorphic wolf and demanding answers. Seeing as how he could talk, Finlay tried to reason with him the only way he knew how. "Alright yah beastie! Tell me what yah are and how yah got here! And don't try anything funny or I'll strike yah where yah stand!"
