Continuing with her attempts at getting rid of the Shadow mob that was in the process of surrounding her, Ignis wondered if maybe there was a way to at least cut the hoard off so she didn't have to deal with all of it at once. Unfortunately for her, there wasn't much that she could see, and the heartless didn't feel like letting her get a good look either. As she punched another heartless, she noticed a Neoshadow jump up from the ocean of Shadows. Wondering where in the world that thing was hiding, she got her keyblade ready. Since those things had longer arms and were in general just a much larger nuisance that the Shadows, Ignis had to try and ignore what else was going on around her for the incoming one.

As the Neoshadow fell, it flung its claws wildly, making it hard for Ignis to attack back. She put up her keyblade, shielding herself but its wild swipes. As she tried to find a way to get in through its strikes, another Neoshadow managed to crawl its way behind her and attacked by spinning around. The moment Ignis got hit in the side, she had to use all of her willpower to keep herself from losing her balance and get ripped to shreds by the Heartless in front of her. She kept parrying the flailing of the Neoshadow in front of her, and while doing so, grabbed a hold of the one that was standing behind her. Grabbing it by the arm, she yanked it forward, sending it into the Neoshadow that was still going strong, letting it attack the second Neoshadow. At that point the two were lined up nice and neat, and Ignis threw up keyblade right through the both of them, taking them out and leaving her with the ocean of Shadows as well.

She looked around to see if there were any Shadows that were available for her to knock out, but much to her dismay, the heartless had learned they could get on top of the battered bridge as well and were lining up to go after Ignis from the front. She prepared herself to fight in the small space than realized that she could try using the width of the bridge to her advantage. She light up her keyblade and used a horizontal slash, sending flashed flying toward the lined up heartless. Some of them jumped out of the way, but Ignis was prepared and flung her keyblade, taking out the ones that were jumping. The heartless kept piling up on the bridge and Ignis continued with her flames, sending them flying off the bridge and clearing the way. The ones that were technically smart enough to jump out of the way of the flames were unlucky enough to be sniped by Ignis's keyblade, letting her handle the Shadows with relative ease. But she also knew she couldn't keep it up forever. If they Shadows managed to figure out that they could get up on the bridge and attack, eventually the ones on the ground were going to think about attacking at the same time while Ignis was preoccupied with the ones already on the bridge. She looked around to see if there was any way out of the situation and realized she was basically stranded where she was. The only way out was either going through the ocean of Shadows that was below her, and while they were technically small fry, she didn't think wading through a few hundred of them was a good idea. She tried to figure out some way out of her problem while dealing with the oncoming flood in front of her, realizing that she was probably going to have to do something drastic if she wasn't to get somewhere safe to deal with these guys.

As Aislinn cleared out the heartless around her, she took mercy on the poor Neoshadow in front of her. Hearing the calls for help from a red haired girl in the distance, she wanted to get over and help the girl as soon as possible, but Aislinn wasn't the kind of person to leave someone suffering, even if it was the enemy, even if it seemed to be an emotionless creature created to kill. Aislinn was not convinced that the heartless were emotionless though. Perhaps their will was not their own, but looking into this ones eyes, looking at the pain she saw the hurt, even the fear as it backed off from her, she needed to do at least something to help. She couldn't just let it sit there until another person came along to kill it. It was a small amount of mercy but it was what she could offer, even after seeing how cruel the Neoshadows could be to those heartless beneath them, she was sure that the Invisibles and Darksides were just as cruel to it when they had the chance, so was the hierarchy in the Heartless ranks.

Walking forward, Aislinn put a hand on the heartless's shoulder, and it surprisingly didn't attack or try to pull away. Instead it looked up at her with big yellow eyes as she took her keyblade and stabbed it through it's body, as the once solid heartless disappeared from her grasp. Looking up to the sky she watched what was left of it float away before she remembered that there was allies that really needed her help. The red head on the bridge looked like she was in real trouble.

Wasting no time, Aislinn began to run, avoiding any heartless that she came across until she hit the old shack. Nimbly she jumped from the sand up to the rocky ground, from there to the shack roof up to an upper area on the island holding the bridge that lead to another smaller island with an odd shaped tree that held a star shaped fruit. "Hold on I am coming. Just wait a moment." Aislinn called out to the girl.... Ignis... if she remembered correctly. She had never actually spoken to Ignis, their paths never really crossing throughout their exam, but that didn't make her any less of an ally.

A mass of heartless stood between Aislinn and Ignis. She would have to fight her way through to get to the girl, and while Aislinn didn't usually fight this many creatures at once, she would sure as hell try if it meant helping someone else out. The horde was swelling by the moment and Aislinn wasn't quite sure how to deal with it except for cloaking herself in a barrier and rushing through. Much to her surprise just by doing that took out quite a few heartless and opened a path for her to the girl. "Are you alright?" She asked as she settled down, getting surrounded herself before fully making it to the girl. She was close but a good twenty five heartless or so blocked her path their. "Well then, guess the fight isn't over." She sighed as she started to defend and strike out time and time again. The scratches on her stung as she kept attacking, gaining new scratches by the moment but at least she could manage with them as each heartless she killed seemed to be replaced by another. "Nothing is never ending." She muttered to herself to keep her from feeling like this endeavor was impossible. They would have to back off eventually.

Ignis continued her neverending fight against the ocean of Shadows when she noticed that one of the other keybladers was heading in her direction. From the looks of it, it was Aislinn. Ignis hadn't personally talked with Aislinn much, if at all, as far as her memory goes, but she did know her name from being around enough to hear it in relation to who was being talked about. As she eyeballed Aislinn plowing through the Shadows using a barrier, they were separated by a number of heartless between them. Ignis lit up her keyblade and shot some flames at the heartless, knocking a fair number down and roasting a few others. There was finally a clear path between the two and Ignis took the chance and ran for it, setting up back up to Aislinn and facing the other end of the bridge, where apparently the heartless were now forming. She hadn't noticed earlier, but they had apparently climbed up on the island out in the water and were getting on the bridge from that end.

Ignis clicked her tongue out of annoyance and turned her head back toward Aislinn. "I hope you realize you might have just gotten yourself stuck in a sea of heartless with me. Long as that's not a problem, I appreciate the help. Now you better get ready, because these things don't seem to feel like giving us a break."

She lit up her keyblade, then shot out a blast of flames, this time instead of sending it out as a large wave she sent it out as more of a cannon shot. The large flame ball flew toward the heartless, and any of the ones that didn't fall down just because they were pushed off by the number of them were incinerated without a trace. While it cleared up the way for a minute, they were still surrounded on all sides with plenty left to deal with.

Feeling like it was going to get pretty boring just taking out heartless, Ignis decided to try and strike up some kind of conversation. "So I guess you were fighting a darkside earlier with Aux huh? I only caught a slight glimpse since I was busy running away for my life from a previous hoard before this one. That's a horrible way to start a conversation, but I got nothing better to start it with. Hope you got a better way to keep the talk going or this is going to be one silent bout between us and Heartless."

She watched as the heartless began swarming the bridge again. Tossing her keyblade, taking out a number of the Shadows, Ignis was surprised that the bridge at this point hadn't collapsed under all the weight and destruction that was being caused on top of it. At the very least it was a sturdy bridge, beat up as it was. If it weren't for that, Ignis may very well have been swimming with the Heartless by this point and it was not have been a pleasant experience. She looked around to see if she couldn't catch a glimpse of how the others were doing, but it was hard not keeping her eyes in front of her at the moment, what with the army in front of her ready to take her out and all. She only managed to catch a glimpse of Kaida shooting from atop a tree, but past that, she was unable to see anything else. The heartless drew closer and Ignis ended up punching it, causing it to go back and blowing up, taking out more alongside it. The blast also ended up shaking the bridge a little, and Ignis had to keep her balance.

"Okay, no more blowing up heartless on top of the bridge. From now on I'm only doing that to the ones down below."

So this girl called for help but then seemed to be a little stand offish with her. In the end Ignis seemed to appreciate the help that she offered, but acted like Aislinn didn't know what she was doing when she came into this. Of course Aislinn knew that it was dangerous to be in here. Of course she got the idea that when she ran into when she came here, if it was a problem she wouldn't have come running in. Aislinn wasn't fond of the way the girl was talking down to her, but she could shrug it off because in the end it didn't really matter, she was ready for the battle and would fight to the end.

Flames came from the other girl, burning out a bunch of the shadows. Sometimes Aislinn missed the ability to use magic, while she wasn't that adept to it, it was certainly helpful at times when she needed to clear out mass amounts of heartless at once. Seeing other people utilize it, it made her think it would be a lot easier to get through the battles like these if she knew how to use magic, on the other hand she was a lot stronger in her current form and it was what she was used to. For the most part Aislinn didn't even want to change from what she was, she could if she really wanted to take her normal form back and cast magic, but in the middle of a battle it wasn't all that easy. She would just have to make due with the situation.

As they fought Ignis started to talk up, trying to strike a conversation with her. She supposed that was good, it passed the time and maybe it would go better than her conversations with Aux. "Yeah it was quite the fight, I also jumped in and helped Stratos with his darkside, but he did most of the work, just let me get the kill. It is surprising how strong that scrawny boy is." Aislinn laughed trying her best to strike up a bit more conversation since Ignis recognized that her attempt perhaps wasn't the best way to start conversations. "So... what brought you here, to this group? What made you want to become a Master, or was that just consequence of situation?" Aislinn asked trying to get to know the people here a little better, their motives and such. It was an odd group of kids and Aislinn didn't quite understand them, but they all fought so hard she wanted to know why, what motivated these kids to keep fighting like this?

Speaking of fighting, Aislinn knew that she needed to keep up with Ignis, talking was good, but she still needed to work on dealing with the heartless. Jumping around and slashing at the Shadows, she took out one after another after another of the heartless. They kept coming but for each heartless that came after her, a cloud of dust followed in her wake as she finally cleared a path so that she could be right next to Ignis and they could watch each others backs. Hopefully this time it would be better than the last time she went about watching someones back. This time hopefully she would have to take a hit like she did with the Neoshadows. At the very least she hoped Ignis would be able to help her a little more than Aux did. Aux didn't even seem to notice until a later time after Ananta ran by and healed her. She wouldn't be able to go that long without healing if she took an injury like the one she took before.

The little breaks that he'd been getting in between the heartless attack were doing less and less to actually help his condition. Not to mention that the wisps of darkness that were still coming off of him had yet to stop. It also didn't appear like there were any signs of it stopping either which posed a different issue as he had no clue what would stop this from happening. All and all it was a very problematic situation to be in. A stray darkball had managed to get the drop on him from behind and get in a quick attack. An attack that didn't really feel like it did much to be honest. That wasn't just because he was wearing armor either. Right when the attack would have normally struck him, a protective field formed out of the dark wisps that were still steaming off of him. By no means was it a full on shield or anything, but it was a small area that formed in a large enough size to nullify some of the damage he'd taken from the blow. Needless to say, the darkball was beaten shortly after it had hit him. Overall it was another strange thing that he was able to do with this armor of his.

Another thing that Kel was having trouble getting used to was the matter of how he was down to using one keyblade. This, fortunately, being a much easier thing for him to get accustomed too. It was off when he'd take a stance that would imply he was using both his keyblades, but it was an easy fix regardless. This small little error didn't affect his ability to kill the heartless, which was really the important fact in all this. It had been during this time that a legitimate sized horde of shadows rolled up on him. Wasn't anything compared to the grand scheme of heartless that they were forced to deal with right now, but when compared to the other small batches that had rolled up on him, this was certainly impressive. This happened to coincide with a silvery glow surrounded him, as well as a feel another surge of power. Sadly it still didn't do anything to affect the lingering dark wisps around him. That constant reminder was really starting to annoy him, especially with how he still managed to feel drained regardless of any methods that wasn't beating up heartless and even that only did so much and not enough to actually combat the affects. Well with a horde this size, surely the affects wouldn't be too bad if he were to strike them all down in one single attack. Kel knew for a fact that he had a couple of attacks that could actually do that, but there was one again that woudl actually wipe them all out in one fell swoop. Kel slightly spaced out his feet and aimed his keyblade into the air, muttering the single word "faith" and four beams of light shot out from his keyblade and into the sky. Shortly four pillars started to rain down into the crowd of shadows, wiping them out in large suecession. Fortunately this whole magic spell didn't drain the living mess out of him with its four attacks, plus it did a lot more then what he thought it would do. It was a magic attack and magic never was one of his strong suits. In a matter of moments all of the heartless were wiped away in four pillars of lights. Said pillars that typically resulted in more heartless showing up if all the times Luna used it was anything to base it off of. Oh well, if anything did show up, then Kel would face them head on before they could get to Luna.

With the heartless still swarming there was not all that many choices that Aislinn had with what she was going to do. They were everywhere and they seemed to be forming bigger and bigger hordes, clambering on top of each other in order to make a giant swirling mass of heartless that was much harder to protect herself against. As Aislinn watched all this happen, fear struck at her heart. This fear however was a little different to the fear that had hit her when it came to riding the light cycles before. This one struck her to the bone paralyzed her for a moment as she gasped for air. In her mind she was pulled back to the battle field where she had stepped up to take care of the heartless, protect the front lines. Where she stood off against these same creatures. She was weaker then, and alone, the circumstance should have changed because of those factors, but she still stood frozen in fear for a good few seconds. She could see these washing over her relentlessly, she could see them clawing at her and dragging into ever growing darkness. The darkness so deep she knew that she couldn't escape no matter how hard she tried. It was a darkness that not even her keyblade could save her from. They might have been the little ones and easy to kill, however when they teamed up and started to grow, swell in size until they were the giant swirling mass in front of her, they no longer were just weak little creatures that she could take out with a swing of the sword, they were a real threat. While normally Aislinn was good at facing threats it was always different when you had faced that threat once before and lost, the fear had time to build, you knew you should be afraid of them.

As they rushed into her, hitting her and knocking her to the ground, Aislinn managed to get her senses back through the pain. It snapped her brain out of the fearful state and pushed her to actually do something about the situation that she was it. It wasn't pleasant, and she now hurt like hell once again, but that just convinced her that she didn't want to die. If she let herself die now she would be in a lot more pain as the heartless did that. Pushing up through the heartless, Aislinn felt like she was swimming through the swarm as she slashed around her, catching numerous heartless with each swing. When there were that many shadows surrounding her, it was hard not to take out several at once. As the small amount of light that allowed them to see on this island broke through the darkness, Aislinn fought even harder. She wasn't going to be dragged back down, she wouldn't allow herself to get pulled back to the darkness, it was suffocating and she couldn't return there. Gasping for breath she made it back out of the swarm, shadows still surrounding her, but the cyclone form of heartless was smaller now, missing pieces and by the looks of things, there was no other shadows willing to jump in and help yet. Aislinn let out a soft groan as she stood up properly, holding onto her ribs. She wasn't bleeding badly this time, most of the damage she had taken was bludgeoning, but it still felt like every part of her was bruised. At least nothing was broken, as long as there was no broken bones she knew that she could fight through more of the heartless without too much of a problem.

As Stratos had managed to cleave off the arm of the dark side he watched as it fell to the ground slowly but surely. As it did, he watched as the slammed against the ground and start smoking with darkness, slowly but surely deteriorating and returning to the void from which it came from. Before the could fully be destroyed, however, Aislinn had moved up to do her piece. After managing to cleave off the other arm of the heartless, Stratos watched as the girl slashed into the heartless's body and tore a long gash across its body, before removing the blade from the creature and jumping off of it. As she did, the second arm crashed into the ground, beginning to go up in dark smoke as well. Soon enough, both the arms began to lose their form before finally exploding into the darkness that made them up, returning back to the realm from whence they came. The body of the dark side, now bleeding darkness from both of its arms began to fall down on both of its knees, before finally falling forward onto the ground. With a resounding thud, the creature seemed to be defeated, its body soon breaking apart and turning into naught but mere black smoke. As the body vanished, there was nothing left to denote that it was ever even there in the first place, and instead the two keyblade masters stood triumphant over its lack of remains.

After having defeated the heartless, Aislinn began to talk about her new clothes and how they were now torn up. Looking at his own clothing, he noted that it was also looking a bit worse for wear as well. As the girl kept speaking about it, also talking about her own family, Stratos merely said, "yeah, I was really liking this jacket I got. Gives me some nice freedom with my arms and I think I wear the black pretty well." After stating that, he shrugged, "well, I'm sure these things will just fix themselves anyway. If you don't pay attention to it, these things tend to work themselves out." As the girl then moved back into the hordes of heartless, the boy nodded and watched as she went about her business. Getting ready to dive into the tide of shadows as well, he was stopped as a collection of neo shadows jumped out of the ground and began moving in to attack him. With claws at the ready, they began their charge towards the boy, rushing at him one after the other. The first three he managed roll backwards against, evading them entirely. The next two he dodged to the side to evade their attacks. With that out of the way, there were still seven more on him and he wasn't exactly nimble enough to avoid all of them. Waving his keyblade into the air, the boy managed to cast a spell of gravity causing five of the remaining ones to hover into the air. Guarding against the next, parrying it away, the boy then ignited his keyblade and cleaved through the final one, destroying it in a single stroke.

As he finished that one off, the others that he had evaded earlier continued to move towards him, swinging his keyblade at the air in their direction. The heartless that were rushing him suddenly found it far harder to move, being put under an intense gravitational field, as the ones he had sent skyward before came crashing down onto the ones below. With that maneuver, he had managed to destroy most of the ones charging at him, leaving only one left, being heavily injured.

The shadows were no longer the only things to be getting to the two girls standing on the bridges. Bigger and better foes thought that they needed to try their luck against the two girls who stood side by side fighting off hoards of heartless. Aislinn after her little panic attack was not looking too hot, but she was still on her feet and still fighting. There was nothing these heartless could do to stop her from trying to fight her way through this battle The small shadow hoards turned into hoards of larger heartless, the Neoshadows returning to get revenge on what she had done to them before. It was another wave of attacks that they had to be ready for, it was these little creepers that had caused her injury before, Aislinn wasn't about to let that happen again, not if she had something to stay about it. "Be careful with these ones." Aislinn warned. It wasn't that she didn't think that Ignis could defend herself, she was more than confident the girl could, she did after all pass the Mark of Mastery with the rest of them, but she still wanted to make sure that people were okay given all that was going on, and with her own health failing a little bit at times, she didn't expect everyone to be perfect, sure they could hold their own but no one was perfect, no one got by without a scrape or two.

Turning to the heartless, Aislinn prepared her keyblade for the first set of heartless that were ready to throw themselves at her. Twisting around her keyblade she brought it up to her chin as she waited quietly until one of the heartless threw itself at her, at that moment Aislinn made her attack. She didn't waste time from there, the initial attack was slow, but after that she began to strike down heartless after heartless, hardly noticing now the difference between the Shadows and the Neoshadows that flung themselves at them. They were all a blur of black and dust. It was just death and destruction as her bones ached from her attacks that were made on her before. They had slowed her down to some extent, but did not stop her, Aislinn was still fighting, and fighting hard. She was going to make it through this wave without anymore injuries. At this point Aislinn didn't know how much longer it would go on. She was not hoping, like last time that the fight was going to be over as soon as the heartless she could see was cleared out. Last time she had gotten her hopes up for a break when she was done and that break turned into just move harder creatures to fight, until the loud man managed to defeat the one summoning these things, she would not hold hope that this would be over anytime soon, she couldn't afford to delude herself like that. Knowing more were coming she would have to pace herself to the best of her ability considering the circumstance. Of course Aislinn couldn't just walk away and take a breather before walking in to fight again, she didn't have time for that, but she could not go rushing in to every battle that she saw and just took things as they came for her, it would be something she would have to learn to do. Everyone needed help but she couldn't help everyone, she had to focus on helping herself first, that was the hardest part of her. Aislinn didn't know how to focus on her own needs before others.

With his new ice infused Diamond Dust aura, Hikaru could feel the chills go down his spine as he held his keyblade. He lifted it up as he saw a swarm of shadow heartless make their way towards him. He rushed foward, small dabs of cold ice being left behind as he walked, as if he lightly froze over the ground in which he walked. He felt the ice powered magic surge through his veins as he held his keyblade to charge into the fray. As usual, half of the heartless retreated into their shadow sneak form, as the other half was left vulnerable. They began to trample each other, clawing and scratching their way towards Hikaru, lingering about and desiring to devour his heart. His eyes shimmered, charging forward and attacking with his keyblade on the dozens of shadows who decided to cease their fate while messing him him during both his ice powered aura and the accompanying buff that Shiro gave to the group. Slashing away with his keyblade, the momentum and force he struck it with created an icy rift as icicles began to form around the shadow heartless, causing them to freeze in place. He then swung his keyblade about and hacked and slashed at the frozen heartless in a frenzy. More began to trample each other only to meet the end of his blade as he continued to hack away at the heartless causing them to freeze before he would eventually put an end to them by the sheer force of his blade. The shadow heartless that were still lurking about below didn't give him any time to rest up or breathe as they were plotting to come up for air themselves. The heartless that were in shadow sneak mode came up into the playing field and scurryed about jumping over each other to leap against Hikaru. Staying cool and collected, Hikaru breathed another cold breath of air as he cast blizzard spells on the ground, causing giants pillars of crystalize ice to rise from the ground and stab any oncoming heartless. the shards of crystal ice punished the shadow heartless as they hopped to their doom. The shadows were left with no other option to be impaled by the ice as they dispersed in a puff of smoke.

With that small barrage of heartless gone, more were installed to quickly take their place. Hikaru had gone from fighting a couple dozen heartless, to what felt like half a hundred. Shiro's power buff was really showing it's metal at this stage in the fight. While the heartless continued to come again and again in seemingly endless wave, the buff from Shiro allowed for the keyblade wielders to counteract their numbers and perform greatly under the circumstances.Seeing the new heartless crawl over and around the ice crystals, Hikaru jumped into the air and slashed at the shadow heartless repeatedly. He performed a few hits as he executed his combo with poise, dispersing the shadows as well as several ice chunks. Watching the smoke and ice chunks fall to the ground. Hikaru had done his work and was prepared to take on any other threats that would dare step up to him or even think about hurting his friends. He took his defensive stance and fired a quick blizzard spell into a distance crowd of shadows. The Ice boost allowed the long range to hit and disperse the heartless that were oh so very far from him. Taking another cold breath he ran across the field to find some other sort of task that he could accomplish while discovering what else his aura could do.

As his graviga had managed to cause most of the heartless to fall, crushing each other under their own weight, the boy was able to see just how much stronger he was now that there was no dark side taking most of his attention. Whatever it was that the member of the order did - or at least he presumed that was who gave them the silver light - it was certainly a great improvement. Feeling invigorated, the boy looked towards the neo shadow that had managed to survive the power of the gravity spell, getting back up on its hind legs and standing upright. Getting ready to strike at the boy, he merely held up his keyblade, ready to intercept it on its course. However, the shadow was injured, its form barely held together by the strands of darkness that made it up, as it slowly began to hobble towards the boy. Weakly raising its arm at him, with a small sigh, Stratos lifted up his keyblade in response. With a slash from the weapon far faster than the claw, Stratos managed to cleave into the torso of the creature causing it to explode into darkness. With that out of the way, the boy looked on to see where else needed his attention.

As he looked around, he noticed that the battlefield suddenly felt much less...crowded. With the defeat of the two enormous heartless, the dark sides, there was a much needed weight that felt like it was lifted from the field of combat. Added onto that, there was also just signifiicantly less heartless. While the dark balls and Neoshadows that were moving around were definitely still plentiful in amount, he could feel like there was an end to them, and that this fight would be over a lot faster than he had initially thought. Then, there was also the shadows. What was once an endless sea of those small little heartless definitely seemed to approaching an end. While there was still an enormous amount of them, one that Stratos knew was far too large for him to count, he could tell the size of the swarm had been reduced by an incredibly significant degree. As he had been doing not much but fighting the dark side and the neo shadows, he hadn't noticed it until quite now. Looking out into the sea, he knew that Kaida had been located in it for most of her time in this fight, yet he saw two others now being swarmed to no end by both neo shadows and shadows. Recognizing them both to be Aislinn and Ignis, the boy decided he'd lend a helping hand out to both of them.

Though the distance between them was great, there was no distance that his strongest attack couldn't cover. And when it did cover it, it left a wake of destruction in its path, something the two looked like they could use right about now. With a calm breath, the boy focused on the heartless in the distance, closing his eyes as he got a clear visualization of the place he wished to go. As cherry blossoms began to fall from the sky, time began to come to a stand still. All the heartless had stopped moving, all the keyblade masters had stopped fighting. In that single instant everything stood still. And then, he was gone, appearing far across from where intitially. With a rush of force, the boy cleaved through a large wave of heartless approaching both Aislinn and Ignis, looking towards both of them. Directing more towards Aislinn he said, "this time I thought I'd lend you the hand."

After he moved forward slightly and unleashed a flurry of blows before the one of the darkballs heartless could escape. His combo hitting was successful as the one of the darkball heartless faded into darkness. The heartless around him had to have been anticipating his first step because a darkball heartless with a little shadow heartless riding atop its head had flown directly in front of him. The shadow heartless struck first with its claws outstretched and was swiftly swatted it to the side. The darkball heartlesson the other hand was more on the persistent side with its attacks and spent a bit flying around AJ, narrowly avoiding all of his attack that he threw at the heartless. When the heartless thought it say its chance to strike, it opened it mouth and prepared to strike. That proved to be a fatal mistake for He was able to dodge the attack and launch a counter attack of his own. Vaporizing the darkball heartless soon after. As the blonde settled down a bit more, he began to consider possibilities to get further out of the jam he had placed hhimself in.

With the first of the darkball like heartless having been felled, he was given a bit of a reprieve to catch his breath. As he did so he started to think of what the heartless were like here. The last time he had fought the darkball heartless, in the first wave, they were only difficult to face due to his sheer unfamiliarity with them. However, this time they seemed to be far more ferocious in nature, and not only were they more aggressive but he had felt as though they were faster and stronger as well. They were able to continually exert great pressure, greater then what he had experienced not a few moments ago, and he wondered what was going on here. And though he had only managed to fight a few darkball heartless in the last encounter, these too seemed stronger as well. Trying to figure out what was going on here he looked around and did not see much. He was soon swiftly cut off as another darkball heartless came down to attack him.

Dodging away from the attack first, he did not want to deal with another one of these things so quickly after the last, especially with the damage he had taken so far. He needed to get his wounds healed, though, he hardly expected the heartless to give him the breathing room to actually cure himself. He had to blink a few time to readjust his vision, while the now defeated darkball heartless took a large portion of the blow, he was still a bit dazed from the impact.

The first of the darkball heartless moved fast towards him. Rather than lunging at them, as they would not to do, this darkball heartless floted in a odd way towards him. As it did, two more came out of nowhere. The last two, behind the first, merely seemed to flote there, looking as if they were waiting for something to happen. As the first of the darkball heartless had finally closed to the distance. He watched as more darkball heartless began to rise in front of him. Their bright eyes illuminated the atmosphere of darkness that was laid before them. He let out a sigh time for battle. Holding his weapon aloft, he looked onwards to the swarm of darkball heartless. Hoping to try and deter their efforts while saving some of his own stamina, he helt his wepond over his head. Pointing straight at the darkball heartless and attacked them.

Of the four Invisibles, only three of them charged. The remaining one hung back to guard the summoner. The blue turtle Invisible was the only one that attacked him directly. The one with the strange wig wrapped itself in a tornado, shockingly enough. The brown, earthen one just stood wallowing in the disgusting stench of its own rotting flesh... wait, did it have flesh? He put the thought aside as he blocked the sword of his chelonian nemesis, quickly becoming locked in combat. As the two exchanged blows, Steel noticed the watery aura emanating from the blade and broke the near stalemate with a Thundaga spell. As it reeled to recover, Steel launched a Firaga spell in the direction of the undead threat. He was correct in assuming its weakness, thankfully. It was sending strangely mixed signals, what with being undead, yet earth? Undead were usually damaged by fire though. However, it was most certainly the proper weakness, since the Invisible let out a deep, angry bellow as the putrid stench of it's now burning flesh(?) could be smelled quite clearly even from his position some distance away.

However, the counter tactic of a careening orb flying towards him from so far away was a far more unexpected development. Not wanting to risk getting hit, regardless of the spells' nature, Steel cartwheeled to the side. It was very fortunate he did too, as the spell that sailed past was one that was all too familiar to him. It was a stop spell. An extremely basic one, with no purpose other than to slow the target. Nevertheless, he was not intending to let his opponents put even the smallest dent in his flow of motion. Even the slightest disadvantage was not one he was willing to take on, nor was it probable to be one he could afford. So he decided to blast the fiend with his own, more potent, stop spell. With the first fiend now frozen in time, he threw another Firaga spell its way before turning back to the blue turtle one. It seemed that it had decided to hide out in its shell rather than counter-attack him. Said shell was now beginning to flow around the shells perimeter. He decided he did not like the look of that, but it seemed that it would have to wait. The third fiend was now launching lesser aero spells at him from within the comfy confines of its tornado shelter.

Thinking quickly, Steel jumped onto a nearby Darkball. It hadn't really been threatening him at the moment, but he needed the extra height. As it struggled in vain to escape whatever plans he had in store for it, he executed said plan with a continuous downward stream of fire as he jumped up into the air. This quickly launched him into the sky while simultaneously destroying the Darkball. He wasn't able to maintain his angle for too long, but it was long enough. From his now much higher position, Steel canceled the Firaga and slowly began his downward plunge. Readying his blade, he slashed another Darkball as it drew just a bit too close. While he hadn't gone absurdly high, he had certainly gone high enough to pick up plenty of speed as he fell, momentum which the fiend felt full force when its face was bashed in with Steel's Keyblade. The attack from above had left the master completely untouched by the tornado, a construct that now evaporated like water in a volcano. The invisible collapsed as well, and Steel's landing nearby obstructed by a shadow that was quickly crushed underfoot.

Looking around, Steel could see that he had done quite a bit of damage, but there was still more fighting to be done with these three.

After the last wave of heartless had been dealt with he thought that the heartless were somehow thinning. He had a feeling that this would not last that long. He knew that soon enough somehow more heartless would come out of no where. No sooner had he thought this then over the heads of some of like five shadows, who at this point seemed weak, rose several dark balls. With a spin, kick and slash of his weapon he took the five shadows out and then the darkballs made there way towards him. With blade in hand, the boy began to make his move towards the side as a large collection of darkballs made there way towards him. Some of the darkball heartless seemed to be far fatter around then the ones he fought before. They were defently different then the regular darkball heartless. Staring at the strange creature, it looked back at him as well, a feral look in its beady eyes as it readied its self for attack. Throwing his almost dull makeshift knife at one of the darkballs. The darkball exploded lunching some unknown purple liquid out from its self. Thankfully it did not get on him. Now some of the heartless around him had a purple glow to them. He was given a short break upon the exploding darkball. After the faling of so many heartless why they still came after him was beyond him. He was felling the massive heartless battle was just beginning. To make matters worse, another darkball had floated its way over to where he was. Surprisingly none of the heartless had made an another move to attack him again yet. This was despite clearly having the numbers advantage against him. Yes he did just prove time and time again that he was not going down without a fight. It was likely that their strongest force out of all of them was there number not the strength of one heartless but one of manny. Him fight or they being gone for good would only last so long. Who made it longer it was hard to say at this point.

This one heartless was clearly sporting a cocky look on its face as it looked down upon him. Not to mentioned that it was had floated down and stared him down from its higher position. This heartless was challenging him wasn't it. It had a expressions on its face that said all of this. He would have been all to happy to take this darkball out. To take it in this challenge seeing as it clearly wanted it, but the moment he took a single step forward a good five more dark balls joined in. He let out a sigh. This battle seemed like it was never going to end. It was the battle that went on and on. The never ending battle fighting the heartless. It may have been brief, but still long enough for him to pick up another piece of bark and use that as his new weapon seeing at the last makeshift knife was long gone. He was able to deliver a devastating lunch to one more of the dark balls heartless and sending it flying back into the crowd in a fiery explosion. He was not sure why some of these darkball were exploding but he was going to try and not question it. Gripping his weapon tighter, the boy was ready to make another run at the darkball swarm that was ready to attack him. It had appeared that he somehow had managed to get the darkballs to slow down. They were slowed down for now but he knew that they would attack soon.

In a flash there was destruction, and a white light that streaked across the battle field. In its wake cherry blossoms that had been falling, Knowing the ability all too well, Aislinn smiled a little bit as Stratos made his way across the battle field to them in one mighty attack. Zantetsuken, it was one of the best attacks she could think of at the moment and with the amount of heartless around she knew it could be devastating to their numbers. Against one large creature it could sure as hell do some damage to it, but when creatures were as large as the darkside that they had been fighting, it wasn't enough to kill. However when you cut a straight line through a bunch of smaller heartless they all turned to black smoke before they even had the chance to move, and with this many heartless still on the battle grounds, it was hard not to hit at least a few of them in one attack.

Speaking of the amount of heartless on the field, looking around Aislinn noticed how close they were getting to finishing these. She had not been the only one to gain a boost in power, and thanks to that boost, the heartless were dropping like flies. She could see parts of the ground now, they weren't just all heartless, and the shadows were having a little more trouble building sizable swarms, instead being forced to stick with smaller pairings. Invisibles still existed out there, something that Aislinn found a little uncomfortable, but there was a... boy? Maybe? In combat with four of them, and he didn't seem to want any hep. It still left eight more that needed dealt with, but until they moved a little closer, Aislinn wasn't going to rush off to deal with them after she had just arrived to help Ignis, and Stratos had come to help the both of them. Out of respect for the two, and knowing how bad these heartless could get, she would stick around for a little bit longer, though her eyes did keep drifting to the Invisibles, keeping an eye on them as they slowly moved forward.

"I will never turn down the help. It keep us alive after all." And she didn't get this sort of help last time she walked into a wave of heartless, like hell she was going to turn it down now. "With such a flashy entrance I feel like I need to follow it up with something even better." Aislinn commented as she stopped for a moment. For someone who couldn't use fire her next attack was rather flashy. A small ball of fire appeared between her two hands, slowly growing bigger and bigger as she raised it over her head. The fire was hot and crackled, flames dancing off the surface of the sun like ball. When it was big enough she looked for an empty space where no one was fighting and threw it towards that area. Water sizzled and steamed as it connected with parts of the great ball of flame. Using that ability left Aislinn out of breath for a moment, but after taking her time to breath and center herself again she stood up straight and looked over at Stratos."How was that for flashy. No Zantetsuken but I did the job pretty well I think." And she didn't have to move a whole lot, give her aching body a bit of a break from combat for the moment so she could show off what she could do. Unfortunately the amount she could do that was even less than the amount she could use Zantetsuken. She would not be able to pull that stunt again this battle.

After bringing his blade up into a guard, he then blocked the next attack as another of the darkballs came his way. The large darkball in the distance had appeared to be amused by His attemets of attacking. He made a gesture and fortunately for the keyblade wielder, there weren't any other darkball heartless of that massive of a size. He did not want to deal with another exploding darkball heartless but it looked like that was not a potion. Instead this time he choose to play the numbers game and had the smaller darkball heartless come towords him. Eight darkball heartless were sent his way, all grouped up to make it so that he would not be able to take them down in one strike. He knew that he was ruining low on energy he felt tired. He would have to rely on his own skills to deal with this threat, which was not too much of an issue as he had done this song and dance before. Not to mention he had a few more tricks up his sleeves. While he thought on this, the darkballs and shadows seemed to merge into the one being. This was not the case but they were so close together at this point they looked like one thing. The darkballs fortunately did not seem all that smart or maybe they were and this was all so he would lower his gard. The darkball heartless was not all that intimidating of a sight by, more strange. No matter the thoughts were pushed away and he went on the offensive and deal blow. It was successful in striking down some of the darkball. His original plan was to strike away at the darkball heartless until it was gone. He had to deal with as many of the darkballs heartless as he could. As they floated his way they had fallen flat on the ground. Now he needed to think of something else while dodging the heartless's repetitive attacks on him. It may have been the same size as him, but its mass made its attacks slow and easy to dodge.

Everything around him seemed to be keeping up nearly as well as he was. He was fighting hard he could tell. There still there was hardly an end in sight. They would need to put a lot of work in in order to get any further with this fight. That being said the big threat still loomed over him in the form of the darkball heatless that was clumped together. He would need to deal with this before he was allowed time to relax a bit. Then he might be able to deal with the small enemies. As much as he would like to join the fight reducing down the numbers, left unchecked this could be a problem. As long as he could not get those countless heartless under control he should not rest. be too much of a problem. Though having their numbers cut down by some now seemed to have made it somewhat easier. He could see them start to dart around him trying everything they could do to get to him. Jumping back a little to the palm tree. The darkball heartless did not seem to be giving him any chances. He had to get a chance to hit the darkball heartless. The next thing he knew the darkball heartless came towards him. As the mass of the group of dark heartless came at him he took a few swings clearly hurting. With a few more swings of his blade the drakball heartless was gone.

Seeing that some of the annoying big guys from the previous round of battle were still around and ever moving closer, Aislinn thought it best not to let them forget who she was and what she could do to them. Now more than ever were they in trouble, not only could she deal with one of them, but Aislinn knew that she now held the capability to deal with numerous of them, given the amount of damage she managed to deal on the Dark Side after she got the boost of power, there was not a doubt in her mind that she could take on the Invisibles without too much of an issue. How many of them at once though, that was yet to be seen, but Aislinn was looking forward to finding out. With a crack on her knuckles and a small grin, Aislinn charged into the battle ready for whatever was to come, lucky for her, three flying swords came to greet her, the dark unformed mass behind them shimmering and then starting to form. First she noticed the demon like horns, before the massive, muscled bodies, as their hands each wrapped around their swords. The Invisibles looked down at Aislinn like she was nothing more than a pesky fly to them, but boy where they ever mistaken. Taking a step back, Aislinn decided to let them feel like they were doing good.

Charging at her two made an attempt to slash at Aislinn while the third planted it's sword into the ground and disappeared. For a moment Aislinn was caught off guard, a bit unsure of what to do about that until a ring of dark, unearthly fire surrounded her. Remembering this attack from earlier, Aislinn knew how she could get away from it, but with two other heartless around her, slashing at her, it was not nearly as easy to avoid such attacks. Not having much other choice, Aislinn chose to deflect the two swords coming at her from either time, pushing the heartless back and away from her, instead taking the brunt of the damage from the flaming ring, as it closed in around her form and exploded, before it returned back to where it's sword was planted in the ground. Now however it was her turn.

The explosion had hurt but it was not enough to slow Aislinn down as she threw herself into the battle, letting the pain push her forward into a flurry of blows against the first Invisible that floated to her left. Although it might have tried, it was unable to deflect against her attack leaving it vulnerable to her, allowing her to take it down with ease as she moved to the next form that tried to shift out of her way, unfortunately for him it was not an option that she had given him and she stabbed through it's shimmering form before he ever faded. That brought it back to a solid state in which she could swing her keyblade over her head and take it clean off with a swipe. Turning her attention she eyed up the third one which seemed to have called for help. Now where only one Invisible once stood, there was a Neoshadow, a Dark ball, and a regular shadow standing in her way. It was all the same though, she would push through it all. Aislinn darted forward grabbing the dark ball and swinging it around, throwing it into the Neoshadow and watching them both fade away. The shadow died by the stomp of her foot leaving the Invisble a little panicked. It once again turned into a ring of fire around her, but without the threat of the other heartless around she was able to roll out of the ring, waiting just beside the sword for it to turn back into it's original form, where it met it's untimely end.

Aux in a race towards Hikaru, watched as a swarm of shadow heartless were headed straight for him. Looking back to Hikaru who was fighting with a newly reinvigorated ice aura called Diamond Dust, Aux simply sighed and stopped in his tracks, skidding along the ground as he summoned out his keyblade. Whipping his hand back, he prepared to gain enough momentum before turning around and slashing upwards at the approaching enemies. The heartless flew back in slow motion as Aux watched the heartless that were knocked back, compared to the ones that continued to charge right for him. He leapt over the shadows and turned around to see the puffs of smoke symbolizing the heartless he had just defeated. He charged head first as he began to hack and slash his way through the heartless shadows. They were quite miniscule compared to his massive self, and while they weren't much of a threat to him, they were still obstacles that needed to be cleared. He charged in with his keyblade dealing heavy blow after hevy blow, watching as each swing of his blade caused more and more shadows to disappear. With most of the oncoming threats neutralized, he looked back to Hikaru, who was having his handful with a small group of neoshadows.

The neoshadows surrounded Hikaru, who was holding his defensive stance preparing for when they decided to make their move. He watched from the corner of each eye as the heartless began to pace around him in their predatory way of thinking. The neoshadows grew in number as they were preparing to overwhelm him. Keeping calm, Hikaru maintained his stance and was preparing himself. Unbeknown to him, a neoshadow had appeared beneath him and tripped him, causing him to fall on his back. The neoshadows prepared to seize their opportunity as they all sprang on him simultaneously. The heartless aiming for him, caught Hikaru off guard, firing as many blizzaga spells at he could to find them off from jumping on him. He managed to successfully destroy most of them but one was still going to jump on him. Before it did, it suddenly fell short of it's jumping mark and fell face first in front of Hikaru. The blue haired boy looked up as Aux had caught the neoshadow by it's foot, making it so the neoshadow wasn't able to make it very far. Throwing the neoshadow over his head and into the air, Aux pointed his keyblade and the heartless and prepared to lock on for a long distance magic spell. He fired a quick Firaga spell as he watched the heartless explode from the spell's impact mid-air. Turning back Aux offered his hand to help Hikaru up. Hesitating for a moment, Hikaru reached out his hand anyways and had Aux pull him up quickly.
    "Look Aux... about-"
"Not now," Aux interrupted. "Let's just show them what happens when they mess with the wrong people." Aux pushed his fist into his hand and let out a small grin, hoping to get Hikaru on board. Hikaru watched his friend get into the fighting spirit and was no longer looking at the man in the black iron mask. Aux was being more like his old self. Something Hikaru would hope to see before this was all over. Hikaru smiled and nodded as the both of them went back to back to watch each other's blind spot. Aux summoned his keyblade again as he held it aloft with one hand, while Hikaru held his blade with both hands vertically in front of his face. The two prepared for any threat that came their way.

As Stratos had made his way to where Aislinn was, he watched as Aislinn decided to try and show off her own skills as well. Creating what appeared to be a small ball of flame, Stratos looked on the girl let loose the orb. At first, he wasn't quite sure what it was she was doing, thinking it to only be a fire ball from a regular fire spell at first, the boy soon realized that the more he looked at the more it was much more than just that. As the orb exploded, causing a large shock wave of force and vaporizing everything that was in its area. The explosion was much larger and far more impactful than just a regular fire spell, and noting the colors of the attack, they seemed to be a brilliant mess of yellow, orange and fire. Whilsting as she finished the attack, he said, "might not be a flashy but it's just as reliable. Probably more." After denoting how well her attack went, Stratos was about to follow up Aislinn on fighting, as the woman went to go into combat with more heartless. Seeing an array of sword wielding heartless go at her, Stratos was about to go in for an assist, but was stopped by something else.

Looking to the side, the boy was just barely able to pick up his keyblade and guard against one of the attacks, parrying the claw away with her keyblade and twirling it around. Tossing his keyblade as the thing was recoiling from the attack, with a spinning strike raid, he managed to slice through the arm of the heartless, summoning it back before igniting his keyblade. Cutting across the torso with his fire strike, the neoshadow was destroying in an instant, evaporating back into darkness. Before Stratos was able to take a breather, his attention was still focused on a swarm of neo shadows trying to pile onto him. One after the other, the moved forward with their claws bared and swinging at him. And so Stratos was given no choice but to parry them one after the other, guarding and reducing the bulk of the damage he would have received from most of the neoshadows. Of course, his guard was not infallible, and instead he was taken aback as one of the neoshadows managed to snake past it, claws slashing into his torso. Wincing in pain, the boy then went to attack, pointing his keyblade at the heartless that just hit him, firing of a ball of flame into it as he said, "firaga."

After the explosion managed to fell one of the heartless, he looked back to the others that he had managed to parry. Pointing his keyblade at them, water started to form at the tip of his keyblade as he said, "Aqua Splash." Four orbs or water formed at the tip of his keyblade, launching towards four of the neo shadows, each orb exploding with an aqueous force as it hit. Dashing forward, the boy slashed into one of the other neoshadows, and began to start letting loose a flurry of slashes into all of them. By charging his blade with his gravity aura, one after the other he managed to continually slash into them with heavier than normal slashes, the impact behind them being far greater than normal. And as he managed to finish his attacks up, he had felled close to twelve neo shadows, with only one of them managing to live through the attack, still barely holding on. Stratos pointed his keyblade at the barely standing heartless, ready to keep on fighting against this creature.

Having dealt with all the last remaining Invisibles, excluding those that were actively locked in combat at the time, Aislinn turned back and made the short trip back towards Stratos and Ignis. The area around them was starting to open up more, there was room to move through, room to breath now. Heartless still swarmed them, but it didn't take a great amount of strength to get through the remaining heartless back to where they stood to help with the hoards of Neoshadows and Shadows that were around them. The two were probably capable of holding their own, but in the end if they didn't have to jump around to kill things, and the enemies just came straight to them, then Aislinn thought that was just as easy as anything else. Even as blood dripped down her arm as she went. The battle was tough and injuries becoming impossible to avoid, but even so she managed to keep herself going, the little bit of blood loss didn't bother her at all. If she was bleeding out, then there might have been a problem, but for now it was a few scratches that probably looked worse than they were with the sand that now clung to her, and the battle smearing the blood further than it would have dripped on it's own.

Pulling out her old cloak, Aislinn quickly tore a piece of fabric off of it, as she swept her hair up into a pony tail, using the scrap fabric to tie it up in a little bow, keeping her hair out of her face now. She had not minded having her hair down before, but at this point it was getting in her face enough that it made battle a little more difficult as the shorter hairs pricked at her eyes. That was always the problem with long hair, while Aislinn liked to wear it down whenever she could, when she got herself stuck in situations with drawn out battles or lots of movement, it tended to get in her face and be a little annoying. She should start carrying hair ties on her, but it wasn't something that she thought about until she was in battle, and when she was out of that battle, she was too busy making sure others were alright, making sure that she was alright, to actually be bothered to remember that she needed to buy hair ties.

With the hair out of her face, Aislinn got ready to jump into battle once more, seeing that the Neoshadows weren't going to stop at any point, she would have to do her best to deal with those as much as she could. There was one ability that Aislinn had been a little hesitant to use throughout the battle, simply because she never used it much, but she wanted to give it a try this time. Getting ready, Aislinn didn't use her keyblade for this attack, instead waiting for a Neoshadow to jump towards her. As it did Aislinn punched it back, causing it to fly into another Neoshadow and explode on them. With a smile she summoned her keyblade back taking the opening that came from the confusion of the heartless. Dashing between the groups on Neoshadows Aislinn slashed at those around her, Shadows and Neoshadows alike, it didn't really matter to her as long as their numbers were dwindling and nothing could bring more of them. Of course the cranky old man could, but that was not her fight to fight, the man named Shiro could handle that one, they simply had the heartless to worry about, regardless of how many there were.

After taking a few more swings of his blade the drakball heartless was gone. He soon found himself surround by Neoshadows. There was an almost noise to all the battleing. He did not think that a battle fighting heartless could be so load. It could hear Magic going off and keyblades hitting things off in every direction. Unknown to him heartless where coming up from behind him too. They seemed to be climbing over the palm tree now. Looking forward. He could spot heartless making there way towords him all he did was stand there. He knew that if he did not do something soon he would be surrounded by more heartless in a manner of minutes. He was sure it would happen soon. He did not see a signal person in the mist of all this chaos of the battle. Did they leave him or where they somewhere out there? It did not matter. He could see the light of different spells going off. Fire and lightning bolts colors filled the sky. Sooner or later he would most like get hit by a stray spell or something it was only a manner of time. Puffs of black and purple smoke filled the sky making harder to see anything. The heartless that where behind him were still getting closer. A storm was here pieces of wood flew past him and he he would not be surprised if a large palm tree flew past him. At this point he could hear voices but could not make out what they were saying when there was a battle going on. From what he could tell there was more then one which met that he was right that the others were here. Where they were he could not say but it made him feel a bit better. Soon the heartless that where behind him was about ten feet or so from him. The heartless that he could see were still making there way towards him.

A Neoshadow came up behind him and he did not see it. Moving to the side just at the right moment the Neoshadow went fast first into the tree taking some bark with it. The Neoshadow then turned and faced him. He still did not have his keyblade summoned so he could not use that for the moment. The Neoshadow then lunged at him and he gave it a good kick sending it back into the palm tree. Then then continued giving it a few more kicks until the thing disappeared. He looked back forward and heartless were still coming. Looking down and spotted a large piece of bark. Well bark was better then not using any weapon at all. He still did not want to risk summoning his keyblade as he might hurt Aux with the heartless being so close. He then bent over and picked up the bark. Looking at the heartless that were coming he threw the sharp piece of bark toward the heartless like a throwing knife except sideways. He guessed it was more like a frisbee then a knife throw. Some heartless went out in a explosion. After the explosion managed to fell one of the heartless. He wondered when things would be easy. That said when has anything been easy other then some parts of the mark of mastery. It was hard to say if there was still 10'000 heartless or not as there were still so many. He knew that by this point he got ride of 20 or so maybe. It was like a penny in the way to a million.
