It was surprising how long it had taken Aux to reply to her. Sure he was fighting, but it was more than that, he seemed to be thinking on something before he was willing to answer her, and when he did speak he was hesitant to tell his story. It was a little surprising indeed even if he didn't totally remember it all, she wouldn't think it would be that hard to just say he didn't know or what he was thinking. Either way she wouldn't push him too hard, Aux would share what he wanted to share, and that was fine by her. What he did share though was sparse but still interesting to Aislinn. He was friends with Hikaru and Kaida, that was something Aislinn was already aware of, just from their interactions and the small amounts of the story that Kaida had told her about the entire thing. That part still circled in the back of her mind but she wasn't going to bring that up in the middle of battle. However what she did find interesting was the fact that Aux was abducted. From what she saw of him that would have been no easy feat and he wouldn't have gone very willingly. To be abducted, put in the Mark of Mastery exam, and pass, that was almost unreal. It was amazing and a little unsettling in some ways. This kid could just walk in and be a Master when someone else fails, it was strange way of doing things, but it was not in Aislinn's right to question it at all. She had just got sucked into the realm of darkness and practically just walked in on these kids Mark of Mastery Exam and took it with them, even if her joining was before the exam started and not half way through.

Upon explaining the situation to her, they were momentarily interrupted by Ananta jumping in there and a warmth washing over her body as the pain from her side started to ease, the wound knitting itself closed. There was a sigh and then she waved over at Ananta. "Thanks for that!" Aislinn shouted back at the woman as Aux finally noticed her injury. "Oh that happened near the end of the last wave. There was a Neoshadow that popped up right beside you when you were busy with something else. When I went to deal with that, I made the mistake of leaving my left side open to an attack. Another Neoshadow managed to get my side, though it wasn't a big deal. I managed to survive through that." Aislinn shrugged it off realizing that it might have sounded like she wanted pity when that was not the point behind her comment and she didn't wish for it to be taken that way. She could handle herself well enough that she didn't want Aux to feel guilty about it, that was not the most productive use of their time.

Feeling a lot better Aislinn took that moment of full health to make good on her time to attack. They needed to get rid of this massive heartless before it started to rain more balls of dark energy on them. She was not ready to deal with that again. After getting a few combo's off on the darkside, Aislinn clasped her hands together and lowered them closer to the ground as she looked over at Aux, giving him a half smile. "Your turn." She informed him ready to launch him at the Darkside to deal more damage to the face, much like she had done before, this time she had more strength to boost Aux up, make it fair.

The invisible that had been brought down by Kel let out a mighty howl in pain that grabbed the attention of the other invisible. Neither of them had been expecting Kel to get back on his feet as quickly as he did, which allowed Kel to land a successful preemptive strike on them. Before he could follow up the preemptive strike with a finishing blow, the other invisible had intervene with a quick swipe of its sword that prompted Kel to take a step back before being it by it once again. Once was plenty good enough for him. Once the other invisible had gotten up to its feet, standing beside its comrade, they focused their attention at Kel. From the looks of things it didn't seem like they were going to make the mistake of simply swatting him away, which did not bode fell for the keyblade wielder in the slightest. He was still tired from all of the running around that he's been doing, on top of the injuries he's sustained throughout this fight. That last hit in particular was what really done this all. Still he stood firm in his decision to fight off the heartless regardless of his current condition. He was still standing after all and he could still fight either way. He found himself adjusting his footing in preparation for the fight to come. In the very moment in which the fight looked poised to breakout between the two parties, a new challenger had entered the battle. Ananta had come running by and while her entry in the battle was brief, she had made sure to heal Kel before she left to the other parts of the battle. A surprise it was for certain that killed some of the tension that had built up for the fight, but on the other hand all of his injuries were healed, bringing him back up to full power.

This brought forth another new issue for the invisible before Kel. Now that he was fully healed, injuries, bruises, and anything being slammed against the island ground might have done to him internally and externally. There was nothing stopping him from returning the favor to the duo of heartless. Seemingly they realized this as one of them had taken up a more defensive stance while the other gradually started to inch forward towards Kel. Whatever confidence that they had going into this fight was clearly gone which was perfectly fine by Kel. These were just heartless after all and not human opponents, though the fact that they had some capacity to learn, come up with strategies and adapt was more on the concerning side of things. No matter, there were still heartless that he needed to beat. A single adjustment was made to his stance and Kel quickly ran past the first heartless that was near him. An attempt was made to hit him with its sword as he ran by, but he managed to duck the attack while continuing on his assault towards the other one. The invisible on defense however tried to swipe at Kel twice, once with its sword and another with its free hand. The sword strike was deflected and the hand swipe blocked, counted by a stab from Kel's keyblade that trapped the heartess's hand in place. From there he fist bumped the hand that was stuck in the ground. Naturally this caused a chain reaction leading to the heartless exploding. Now the fight was a one on one between Kel and the last Invisible. Said invisible had already turned to face Kel in preparation for what was to come.

As time passed and the battle raged on, it was getting disheartening the state everyone was in. Aislinn knew that they had to keep fighting and that they would keep fighting, there was no question about that, but they couldn't just get over their exhaustion and lack of will just with a snap of the fingers. To try and help at least herself, Aislinn brought a song to her mind, but not one of the softer instrumentals that played through her mind as her feet and blade moved to the song of death and hope. No this one was a little more upbeat, something that may help lift everyone's spirits even if they didn't thrive off of music the same way that she did. Not everyone had to make their fights into a dance in their mind to get them through, but in Aislinn's opinion music was uplifting to everyone and was needed by everyone. She would use it to help the best she could as her foot started to tap, the song forming in her mind as she slammed her keyblade into the ground twice creating a thud thud sound. She then hummed a little bit and slammed her keyblade into the ground another two times, humming a little more before she opened her mouth.

"This ain't a song for the broken-hearted." She started out before she continued. "No silent prayer for the faith-departed." With the second line she started forward towards the heartless nodding her head as she approached before she continued to sing out. "I ain't gonna be just a face in the crowd. You're gonna hear my voice." Taking a deep breath she jumped up and slashed at the heartless, music could almost be heard backing the track of her song that she sung. As her keyblade made purchase with the heartless, she continued to sing out "When I shout it out loud." After turning back from doing this, Aislinn looked over her shoulder at everyone and smiled at them, she didn't know about anyone else but her spirits were certainly lifted, she felt like she could keep this up for a while longer and not lose heart.

"It's my life, It's now or never. I ain't gonna live forever. I just want to live while I'm alive! It's my life!" And no stupid heartless or general are going to take that away from me. I am going to see my family again, return to my sister a master and make the difference in my world that is so desperately needed to keep everyone safe. It's my life! Aislinn thought to herself as she continued her on slaughter of attacks on the heartless around, aiming for the giant darkside that still loomed over them. "My heart is like an open highway. Like Frankie said: I did it my way. I just want to live while I'm alive. It's my life!" As she sang out the next part it hit Aislinn, who the hell was Frankie, she couldn't remember anyone notable named Frankie from her world. That being said she wasn't even sure if this song was from her world, it was more of an assumption that she made after hearing it for the first time. This was one of her fathers favourite songs, but Aislinn never really asked passed that, at the time she didn't care and didn't really listen to the lyrics, it was amazing that she could remember them now. "This is for the ones who stood their ground. It's for Kaida and Aux who don't backed down. Tomorrow's getting harder, make no mistake. Luck ain't enough. You've got to make your own breaks!" With that she delivered one more devastating strike to the darkside.

Noticing the grand efforts of Stratos as he leapt away to help someone else, Hikaru watched in admiration, not even minding that he left. Not really like they should be using a lot of this time to be talking too much anyhow. There were too many heartless too eliminate and there were only a dozen of them present to get the job done. As he thought of what his next plan of action, he was approached by Ignis. The red haired girl walked over to him and began some casual conversation. "So, how are we handling ourselves? Have any enjoyable moments with these little guys that you'd rather forget about? Oh yeah, you know if Aux is handling himself any better?" Hikaru had only really alligned with Ignis during their time in Sanfransokyo, and even then, it was during a time in the exam where they were seperated in both realground and underground planes of existence. She seemed kind enough and was willing to approach Hikaru in concerns to Aux; something he thought no one but himself and maybe Kaida would bother to check in with. "Could be worse, I guess," he replied to Ignis. "I mean, yeah there are a lot of these little buggers everywhere, but at least becoming masters gave a kind of edge, y'know?" Hikaru shrugged, looking across the field at Aux and Aislinn. "As for Aux, I guess he's just adjusting. He said he began recalling a lot of his forgotten memories. I don't know if that's a good thing or bad to be honest..." Realizing something crossing his mind, he turned to Ignis to question her on something he constantly thought about. "Aren't you still mad at him? Y'know... for throwing you and almost everyone else here into darkness from Disneytown?"

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On the side of the darkside, Aux was prepared to attack once more when he saw that Aislinn was prepared to boost him up. Before he could even jump, he hesitated. After all, he knew that she was definately a strong woman, but being hoisted up by a woman more than two weight classes below him felt... dangerous. Not to mention he was always concerned with his size in comparison to others his age. His rigorous training with his grandfather Kurt caused him to gain unbelievable muscle mass from a very rigorous training schedule. Hikaru had always said that his arms were the size of cantaloupes, which somehow made him a little uncomfortable about his size. But this was Aux attempting to try and fit in with the crowd and work together with them. Kaida was able to do it, so why not him? I mean sure, he's still the reason a large percentage of them ended up here, but in the long run, he still had to at least make the attempt to be a team player. Just as he was about to go in for the boost, he stopped at the sign of Aislinn preparing to sing.

The two were fighting a giant heartless, but she still managed to find the time to prepare a ballad of sorts to sing as she sung her heart out. She turned back to him after her attack and redid her boosting position. "Your turn," she said.

Choosing not to question it, Aux simply took her boost and gave the darkside a wicked whack to the face. As he descended back down, he watched overhead as the Darkside shook it's head. Reaching back his giant head, he punched it into the ground before the two and caused a swirling purple pool of darkness to form around his hand. "Well that's probably not good."

Entering the chorus again, Aislinn turned back to all those around her, then locked eyes with Aux, if felt like he needed to hear this more than anyone and she hoped that he didn't hate her again for that optimistic personality that she was still hanging onto despite knowing that he wasn't so much a fan of it. It would be good for him she was sure to have some optimism in his life. Aux might have acted like he was okay alone, acted like he liked acting out, but she had a feeling in the end he just needed someone there for him, to encourage him. Whatever happened to him that made him leave training with Hikaru and Kaida, he was missing something she was sure, missing the companionship that he had with them. It might have been cheesy and it might have been just Aislinn reading into it far too much, but she saw a lost boy who needed a friend and to know that he is in control of his own life. Whoever kidnapped him, however he ended up like this, however he got here, it was his life to control now, he could take it in whatever direction he wanted from here.

"It's our lives, and it's now or never. You ain't gonna live forever. You just have to live while your alive. It's your life. Your heart is like an open highway. Like Frankie said: I did it my way. You just have to live while you're alive. It's your life!" Aislinn sang to Aux but more telling him, encouraging him to take a hold of his own life, not to let the past define him, not to let it get the better of him. He just needed to move on, now that he was a keyblade master their was a world waiting for him if he was willing to step into it and take it for himself, and he would always have friends at his side to watch his back. While Aislinn fully planned to go home when she had the chance, she would always be there if he called, she would always help. She wouldn't turn her back on those who had helped her make it this far. Even if they had been off to a rocky start, she wouldn't be here without the aid and help of Aux, so for that she was more than grateful.

"You better stand tall when they're calling you out. Don't bend, don't break, Aux, don't back down...." Aislinn trailed off letting the song drop there as she turned to Aux again. "Ready to take hold of your own life and show everyone what you are made of?" She asked Aux quietly before turning her eyes to the Darkside who had been surprisingly quiet through the whole thing but was now bending down, releasing his barrage of dark orbs onto them. Well time for music was over, now it was time to fight and survive through all trials that awaited them ahead. With one last nod at Aux, Aislinn ran in, taking advantage of the fact it's arms were lowered to get a few strikes on it's arms before jumping onto it's hand and waiting for it to start to stand up. When it did and the arm was held horizontally she ran up towards it's face, her feet a little unstable under her as she neared it's head, but managed to push herself off and catch the darkside for another strike to it's face before she more gracefully landed on the other side of the Darkside so that she now faced Aux, across the way.

In typical battler fashion, before Kel had officially started the battle with himself and the last invisible, he aimed his keyblade at the heartless. Now it was his turn to do the taunting of the heartless, something he had no problems in doing in. The invisible on the other hand seemed to be distracted at first. It was subtle at first, an occasional nod of its head. Said nod turned into foot tapping and that foot tapping became a small nudge of his arm upward. Plainly speaking it was odd behavior for a heartless and that as saying something given all of the things that he's seen heartless do over the course of this battle alone. Those subtle movements continued and Kel had long since lowered his keyblade, not wanting to interrupt what the heartless was doing. Maybe if it had done it once and focused back on him, then he would have fought it, but nope this heartless was really into whatever it was that it was doing. This heartless was seemingly seeming livin on a prayer. Being free from the task to having fight the heartless, Kel started to hear something in the distance. It was singing? He listened for a bit longer and thus was able to piece together what it was and it was in fact a song. He didn't what that song was though. Ya know, being born and raised in a fantasy world and bon jovi doesn't exist in most fantasy worlds and not cause he's an uncultured swine cause someone would certainly call him that. This small rant aside, Kel acknowledged that the one singing was Aislinn and when he turned back to the Invisible, it was completely rocking out to the song. Head banging, jumping up and down. Even going as far as to use its sword as a air guitar. Now this was quite the sight to see. First he'd learn that Aislinn could sing, a minor fact in the grand scheme of what he was looking at to be honest, but a fact nonetheless. On top of that, for whatever reason, this heartless actually knew how to do all of the things that he was standing there, watching it do and Kel really couldn't bring himself to do anything about it. As strange of a sight as it was to watch the heartless play air guitar, he found it to be fascinating as well. Overtime the song continued and the invisible was joined by other heartless. Eighteen shadows to be exactly. All crowded around the heartless, listening to the music in pairs. Kel could have swore he spotted one of those shadows holding up a lighter to the sky as it swayed too and fro with its brethren. After a while Kel had just given up on the idea of actually fighting and put away both his keyblades. From there he took a seat on the ground and watched the whole thing take place. The invisible had really attracted a whole crowd of shadows to watch its performance despite being very clearly still in the middle of the battle. The invisible had gotten really into his performance at what Kel could only assume was the guitar solo. Erratic movement, pretending to slam the 'guitar' on the ground, something that actually hit a couple of the heartless around it, the whole nine yards. By the end of said guitar solo, about half of the heartless that were around it had been wiped out and none of the surviving ones seemed to care in the slightest. Pretty messed up when you think about it. Kel didn't know if the song itself was reaching it end, but the performance was. What gave that away was how the Invisible made one was strum of its 'guitar', ran through the crowd of heartless that were left and jumped off the edge of the island with its arms outstretched. He couldn't help but get the feeling that it was hoping something would be there to catch it. There was not and the Invisible fell into the void, leaving Kel sitting there still perplex about what he just spectated.

The battle was going well enough for what it was, the darkside they had been fighting was certainly taking damage which was a very good thing as she could start to see the light at the end of the tunnel in a strange way. The tunnel was only this one heartless but there were still thousands swirling behind her that she managed to avoid. From what Aislinn could tell the smaller heartless were just as terrified of the Darkside as she should be. That being said there was a part of Aislinn that wasn't afraid, a part of her that was willing to look this creature in the eye as she fought it and not back down. The courage she had to face these creatures of the dark had only grown since her time exposed to the dark realm in which she didn't belong. It seemed even that had been good for her growth, even though upon first arriving Aislinn wanted nothing to do with the realm, none of them did. And after the battle that she had walked in on, Aislinn didn't blame any of them for wanting out. She didn't know how much these children had grown through that, but she could certainly see her own growth, and that was good enough for Aislinn. She might have seemed fearless back home, doing whatever she could to protect her town, her niece and nephew... her sister, but she was quaking when she did it. Deep rooted fear kept Aislinn shaken to the core, even as she gathered the strength to fight on another day. Now however here she was staring a darkside in the face, hordes of heartless surrounding her, it was a fight for all of their lives and she didn't even flinch away. She stood tall and faced what was to come. It wasn't the title, the knowledge that she was a keyblade master that made a difference, but instead the knowledge that she wasn't alone. On her world she had been the only one who had a keyblade, the only one for centuries. While it was rumoured they existed no one had obtained one until she had. Her training had all been with a man who knew of the keyblade but not how to use it exactly. He had no first hand experience with it. She had felt so alone during that time, the weight of the world on her shoulders as she was the only one that she knew of that had the power to change. Now here on this small island she could look around and see numerous faces that would help her if she needed it, but more than that understood the responsibility that came with the weapons that they had and would share the weight for her if they needed it.

Knowing that was all she needed to do to carry on and make more work on this. Soon enough they would be able to be done with this Darkside. Once it was down, she still had a second to deal with. Seeing how well this one was going, Aislinn figured that if Aux helped she might have a chance of dealing with it efficiently, but knowing how long this one was taking, she wouldn't be able to do it alone. There was only so much stamina that she had for doing these harder battles. When she felt like she made progress with the smaller heartless, it didn't bother her as much, but when it was a slow process of taking down the heartless small amounts at a time, that was whens he found it a bit much to deal with.

After making his statement, Hikaru didn't seem to answer, but instead brought attention over to Aux and what he was doing, due to Ignis's prompting. The boy looked over to see the large man and his partner from the Cites des Cloches, striking at the large dark humanoid heartless, seeming to make some great heady way into them and carving wounds all across them. He was then briefly surprised as Ananta appeared before him, healing him, with the boy only saying, "wha- oh thanks," as she did. As Hikaru asked if they were still mad about what Aux did, Stratos merely said, "of course." His expression was neutral, and tone was matter of fact. "He destroyed a world with only innocent people on it and pounded us all into the ground while stomping on our beliefs. Of course I still haven't forgiven him, and I don't think I'll be able to until he answers to all of us about what he's done. But," he looked back to the two fighting the darkside. "He's fighting with us now, and doesn't seem to have any intention of betraying us for the heartless, or if he does it doesn't matter since he'll have to kill all these heartless anyway. Besides, we're busy enough, so I don't really have time to worry about what he'll do." With a smile on his face he said, "and he's your friend and you seem to trust him, so that's good enough for me right now. Of course, if he does turn on us, that's entirely on you buddy," he joked towards Hikaru.

Looking towards the heartless before him he said, "well, I'm going to get moving onto that big guy over there, so if you two are coming, now's the time. Otherwise, happy hunting." Twirling his keybalde, the boy began to move towards the large heartless looming over all of the other heartless. With everyone else putting in work, the heartless weren't paying too much attention to him, only for his run to be stopped as a sword appeared in front of him. Well, appear wasn't accurate so much as fall directly vertically down from the sky at him. The serratted looking blade was becoming all too familiar in appearance to Stratos, and he knew exactly what was coming up. The air around it began to ripple with purple and black flame, a humanoid hand reaching out from the strange darkness. Grabbing onto the blade, the creature pulled the blade out of the ground, slashing it a few times before pointing it at Stratos threateningly. "If you want to keep from that big man over there, you're going to need more than just threat," the boy declared at the heartless.

Cocking its head curiously at him, the creature flourished its blade before disappearing, reappearing behind Stratos. Though he was caught off guard by the sudden teleportation of the attack, he wasn't exactly surprised either, and was able to react in time. Bringing up his keyblade, the boy managed to successfully guard against the attack, though he still felt the force behind the attack as it pushed him forward. Wincing in pain, the boy looked towards the creature, ready to retaliate, only for another heartless, a neo shadow, to appear right before him. Clicking his tounge in frustration, the boy dodge rolled backwards avoiding the claws of the heartless. As he did, he noticed the invisible flying above him, ready to dive down onto him. Focusing on the two in front of him, the boy then vanished from sight, striking both of them in an instant with his zantetsuken, felling them instantly. With the two felled, the boy looked towards the dark side he was now near, tossing his keyblade at it.

The more that Aislinn continued to sing, the stranger Aux's face became. He wanted to respect what she was doing. He really really did. But there was just something about the odd visual sight of watching someone sing while in battle. The more she sang, the more he tried to analyze just what it was she was saying. He began with looking back to the earlier verses of the song. She mentioned 'I ain't gonna be just a face in the crowd. You're gonna hear my voice.' Obviously she wants to tell him something. 'It's my life, It's now or never. I ain't gonna live forever. I just want to live while I'm alive! It's my life!' And the more he listened to the lyrics the more he was trying to understand just what giant thing she needed to say. What information did she need to convey that required such a grand gesture? He recalled some of the other lyrics in his head about just what it was she was singing about. 'My heart is like an open highway.' As he thought about it without much moving, several small shadow heartless began to pop from the small pool of darkness that the darkside heartless had created. Twitching and jerking about, the shadows began to flail their way towards Aux; who at this point was still in a deep analytical thinking process regarding Aislinn's sudden burst into song. As the shadow heartless jumped upward, Aux quickly slashed them away with one fell swoop of his keyblade. He didn't even look at what he was defeating. He just looked at Aislinn continuously with a semi-horrific look on his face, swatting away and any heartless that approached him like there were an afterthought. The shadows he swiped away from the darksides pool had been eliminated as the darkside raised it's hand and returned to it's upright position. The attack wasn't all that powerful as it simply brought more shadow heartless onto the field. The darkside seemed content with it's time consuming attack as it simply stood there, lurching slowly as it looked across the field, it's bouncing edgy shadow hair just bouncing in place.

As Aislinn sung on, Aux peered his eyes, trying to understand just what it was she was trying so hard to sing to him about. 'You better stand tall when they're calling you out. Don't bend, don't break, Aux, don't back down.... Ready to take hold of your own life and show everyone what you are made of?' Looking away for a quick moment, Aux quickly slashed away at the darkside heartless' shins again, hoping to break eye contact with Aislinn if even just for a moment. The eye intensity she was holding was a very awkward thing to try and hold with her. As he pushed away the darkside, he looked back at Aislinn. As she sang to him and had her hair blowing in the wind, he had a very unsettling thought as she continued. She kept singing about living for the moment and that her life was her own. She claimed her heart was open ended and that he had better stand tall because she was calling him you. He told him not to back down from this very public display she was portraying. There was no other logical way to look at it. The signs were too obvious and the lyrics were far to specific to be anything else but what Aux had suspected would happen since he met her. Their initial disagreement upon meeting and their sudden kinship as allies. Aislinn was confessing her love to him.

As Stratos's keyblade that he had thrown, spinning with the force of a strike raid behind it, the blade managed to skid across the arm of the dark side. The large humanoid arm didn't seem to be all that affected as the blade spun across it, only mere wisps of darkness came off the arm but no visible signs of damage were seen from the hit. And while it didn't manage to inflict any really damage to the creature, it did manage to draw the large heartless's attention towards him. Now that he was up close with it, the boy could see in full view the power and size this thing contained, looking downward at the keyblade master who had challenged him. Though Stratos could look straight at the large creature's eyes, in spite of the large tangling of black tendrils that wrapped around its face that extended outward, he saw just what lie beneath its veneer. Nothing. No rage, or hatred. No malice. Just instinct. Just an innate need to destroy, and likely consume, what was before it. As it winded its hand back, fingers balling into a fist, Stratos merely said to himself, "I might have made a mistake."

The large humanoid heartless had finished pulling back its arm entirely, only to then punch towards the boy. The attack was a lot slower then he was expecting, though there was a visible cone of wind around it, indicating the force that was being brought behind it. Running away from the attack, the boy's footing was being lost as the fist struck the ground, releasing a large quake through it. The quake managed to trip up Stratos so much that he ended up falling onto the ground, though that was the extent of the damage that he seemed to take from the attack. Letting out a sigh of relief believing the worst of the attack to be over, and thinking this creature looked far more threatening than it was, he noticed something. Its fist was still in the ground - literally inside of it. A pool of darkness formed around its hand, wisps coming out from it as he saw claws reach from underneath the pool. The claws were small, yet numerous, as they moved down and pushed against the ground, as if pulling itself up. Stratos went wide eyed as he realized what the creature had done, with the shadows having fully hoisted themselves out of the ground. This wasn't just a big guy meant for punching...it also summoned.

Thinking now that he made the right choice to kill the large humanoid being of darkness first, as it would just continue to summon more and more heartless into the battle. Spinning his keyblade around the boy targeted some of the heartless, saying, "Aqua Splash." Water formed at the tip of his keyblade, firing off four bubbles of water at four individual shadows. Each of the shadows had taken a bubble, it exploding on impact and destroying some of the heartless around him. Of the twenty that the creature had summoned, his aqua splash had managed to destroyed eight of them. Running towards the heartless, he then ran into the center of the shadows, which were now converging on him. Shouting, "faith." Four columns of light appeared around the boy, spinning and exploding outward, destroying the rest of the shadows and dealing damage to the darkside heartless. The heartless held its arm up to defend against the attack, and after the explosion had taken place, the arm still seemed perfectly fine. Stratos was not sure what this thing was, but it was a hell of a lot more sturdy than a behemoth was.

Kaida was fully prepared to run back up the tree, but suddenly a wild Ananta appeared and touched her shoulder. She felt the cure which was definitely helpful what with the horde that just recently nearly killed her. But before she could even thank her, Ananta had passed out.

Then Kaida was really panicking. This girl had managed to get through the horde to help her, only to collapse. And the only protection she had found so far was in a tree. And she certainly did not have the strength to carry Ananta and climb a tree. She was ****ed. For lack of a better word. Cause she was not about to leave Ananta to die. But she could not figure out how to get the girl out of there.

Kaida took a deep breath and grabbed the green haired girl and made her keyblades disappear. Then she began having Ananta pigggyback her. She looked up the tree at her shadow friend and she said, "I'll be back, pipsqueak." and she ran as fast as she could towards the others. The horde attempted to chase her for a while but she made a maneuver closer towards the darksides and that made it so the others let her go. For how long, she could not say. They probably had a taste of her blood by now and they would likely come back for more.

Kaida reached the dock she had been on before and it remained relatively untouched. Kaida placed Ananta on it laying down before she cast cure. Then Kaida took a breath and quickly placed a protective bubble around her that basically worked the way guard did. But cstar, that ability doesn't exist. Well for the purposes of this moment it does cause I am not babysitting right now sorry Tay I ain't about that life. Once the bubble was cast Kaida went to run back to join in on the fight.

Unfortunately for her, there was now a darkside in the way of her destination and it was not going to let her run by it a second time. The darkside looked towards her, looming, as it went to sway it's hand. Kaida quickly cut through it with a slash, contributing a bit to the fight, before she set onto the ground on the other side. She turned to see Aux confused and Aislinn...singing. Kaida shook her head and just kept on running so her contributions were literally just one hit to the darkside. She felt kind of bad, but her battle was most definitely elsewhere.

As the blonde returned towards her spot the horde was beginning to split up more into larger groups. Which was way better, she had a feeling maybe the way she was fighting was contributing to the horde problem but it felt very good to take a bit of a break. Even if it was running. As she got back towards the palm tree, she noticed her heartless friend was not there anymore and the blonde looked around worried.

Pipsqueak must have decided to either follow her or start its own fights somewhere else. She could respect that. Though it did not mean she liked the idea of losing a support network. The random coconuts from time to time were some nice ranged ammo. The blonde resummoned her keyblade and decided to go after a neoshadow. Whether or not it was the one that knocked her into the horde last time, she could not say. All she knew was she wanted to take out this one in particular. So she combo'd it. And she combo'd it so hard the neoshadow barely had any flavor text.

Though there was a bit of smoke coming off the arm of the dark side heartless, the residual effect of the explosion of the faith attack, the large humanoid being of darkness hardly seemed damaged at all. Instead, it moved its arm to the side, curling its fingers into a fist. As its fist tightened, Stratos saw that unlike the last attack this one was charged with some kind of dark energy. While Stratos was watching the fist expectantly, thinking it was going to be brought down on him at any moment, he noticed the creature suddenly tilted. He was curious as to what was going on, he noticed that it wasn't as though the creature was being tilted by some kind of external force, no - it simply raised its foot. Seeing the foot now raised above him, Stratos merely said, "oh," as he realized what the creature was about to do. As it went to stomp down with its foot down on him, the boy realized that he needed to get out of the way soon, and thus began to frantically roll out of the stomp. As he did, it only stomped on empty ground, causing a brief quake from the force. Expecting it this time, and not being nearly as strong as the last punch, though, the boy's footing was still firm and solid on the ground.

As he looked towards the darkside, now that its foot was now firmly planted on the ground, the creature began to move further towards the boy. Swinging its fist with great might towards him, Stratos attempted to leap out of the way, using his gravity aura to increase the height at which he could jump due to shifting the gravity around him to become lighter. As he made his way upward, he looked down as the fist slammed against the ground. While he wasn't on the ground to feel the impact, there was a visible shock from the punch, and explosion of darkness stretched out from the epicenter of the punch. The wave stretched on for a few feet before slow dissipating back into the darkness around it. As Stratos had landing on the ground, the dark side began to pull its arm back out of the ground. As he looked at the arm, Stratos figured that attacking that would do no good, as evident from his previous attacks against it, and instead decided to go and strike somewhere he thought would be more vulnerable. The mass of tentacles around the creature's head.

Jumping at the arm, the boy landed on the forearm of the creature before it managed to pull it out from the ground. Now on the creature, he knew that there was very little time to do what he had wanted to do, and began to run across the arm of the creature. As he got further and further up the arm, the boy jumped off the arm, using his gravity power to cause him to catapult downwards, then being reversed to fly upward even faster. Now 10s of feet above the dark side, the boy intensified the gravity field around him once again, dropping down on the heartless below. With a heavy slam, the boy smashed his blade against the creature's face, causing a noticeable groan of pain as it was forced backward, only to reach up with one of its hands to slap the boy away. While it was not strong as it could be, he was still forced away from the creature, down on to the ground and with a heavy crash into a few of the shadow heartless.

Moments ago he had thought that it was over, that they were done with this fight, having just fought off over a thousand heartless, but this was not the end. Their test as masters was just beginning once more. He knew that the Mark of Mastery exam was going to look like a cake walk, compared to what was coming for them in this battle as large shadowy creatures rose out of the ground and loomed around them, as smaller heartless filled the space between them, much like the heartless they just fought. This was true that the mark of mastery was easier by comparison. Aside from the Darksides that loomed over them, at least this battle would be similar enough to the previous one, fighting similar enemies meant that he could take what he learned from the first battle and put it to use here as well. The amount of those annoying flying drakball demons had increased however and he knew this time he would not be able to take as many out as fast. This time there seemed to be more Invisible heartless. The last wave had exhausted him slightly and this wave was bigger then the last and he knew that there was a possibility that the waves would continue to get bigger. Sighing the boy got ready to go into a fighting stance and deal with more darkball heartless.

He attacked the darkball heartless. The creature might have stood up after his attack, if it had feet but it was a floating thing. He had ran through the horde, dodging as much as he could to save Aux during the first wave and now he was stuck here untill the end. Some of the horde began adapting to new tactics. As the first the darkball heartless dissolved she was back in the horde that surrounded him but soon even more came out ready to fight.

Moving through the horde was not a option, the boy got in a guarded stance as yet anotherdarkball heartless came at him. As the darkball heartless had charged him, the boy stepped backward, immediately evading the first of the attacks from it. However, this way not enough as the darkball heartless began to spin around, rushing into him and striking into unguarded self. The wind being knocked out of him, as the darkball heartless knocked into him, the boy skidded backward. Putting up his hands again, the heartless moved towards him with its teeth showing. Wincing in pain, from the earlier attack he looked for an opening against the heartless he was fighting, though the creature was moving much faster than usual and was unrelenting in its pressure. Trying to evade the attacks, the boy kept moving side to side. Punching forward, the boy struck the darkball heartless and destroying the darkball heartless entirely.

Catching his breath, he was a bit taken aback by the suddenness by which he was attacked by the creature. The boy felt a bit weird, having just fought so many but he knew this would not stop. Taking a deep breath, he began to focus on the opponent before him, before back stepping away from the heartless as it attacked him. The darkball heartless continued to put on the pressure. soon another dark ball had appeared behind him, mouth open. Stopping to not be bit by the creature, he stuck his hand out killing the one behind him. Now to take care of the one infrount of him as well. That was when the darkball heartless attacked again. Having avoided the attack by backing up to the palm tree and moving to the side. He looked back and it was time to go on the offensive. It was only for a moment, but the darkball heartless were all clustered up. Without wasting a moment, he seemed to be able to take out a few darkball heartless. A momentary pause and an unnatural stillness from those darkball heartless followed. He moved forward slightly and unleashed a flurry of blows before the one of the darkballs heartless could escape. His combo hitting was successful as the one of the darkball heartless faded into darkness.

Stratos was busy dealing with the heartless around them and Hikaru had asked if they were angry at Aux for sending them into the Realm of Darkness in the first place. At that moment, Ignis grabbed Hikaru's shoulders and moved him a little to the side, and then used her keyblade to stab a Neoshadow that has jumped at them. Another came following, and Ignis let lose a flame burst to grill the Heartless to smoldering vapor. She turned back to Hikaru and didn't even think about the question regarding Aux.

"Nah, I don't hate him. I've spent most of my life in life and death scenarios, fighting for the people and all that. But being a mercenary means you'll end up fighting against some people one day and the next you may end up being their allies, sometimes even friends. Though to be fair, in my past I didn't like working with anyone, so usually when I was forced to be paired up in a group I just went off on my own. Kinda led to a lot of people losing their lives, but I digress." She scratched her head, thinking about exactly how to word her feelings toward the subject. "I guess the best I can say is I don't hold grudges toward people when I'm on a job, so to speak. I've basically viewed this whole thing as a job of sorts, and it just meant that we were going to face off against people, some of which might be stronger than us. All that happened was that we had a fight and lost. Be thankful that we had at least lived through it, there's plenty of people who would no doubt have wished they had that opportunity. It might have been personal for you, Kaida, and Aux, but for me I just saw it as something I had to deal with to finish my task, and I lost. But since Aux ended up joining us, I don't have to worry about facing him again, at least for the time being. I don't hold grudges against people because they're doing what they believe is right. Well, not most of the time. There is someone who I'll give my life to kill, but that's my own personal problem. Either way, I have the viewpoint of "If they're your enemy, you fight them with to the best of your abilities, and if they're your allies, give them the best you can offer."

She turned around and burned a couple more Shadows that were leaping toward her and watched the smoke dissipate. It ended up making her think about about all the times she had taken jobs and fought against some people, and then ended up becoming allies with them later on. There were plenty that hadn't lived as long as she, and some that had been through plenty more battles in comparison, but all of them had picked their sides and needed to stick with it. She sighed and turned back toward Hikaru, remember something else about that mindset she had.

"Of course, there's also the fact that viewing things that way means that you have a hard time fully trusting people at first. It really depends on the person's own personal code, but sometimes those who side with you may end up turning against you later on. I've had some people I've known who fought against me and then sided with me, only to turn their swords on me yet again, all because of their personal beliefs at that point in time. I don't hate them for it, but it made it hard to trust people when that was the life I lived. Let me tell you this, if you can find a friend that will stick by you no matter what happens, no matter what you do, they'll be irreplaceable. I think you and Kaida are a little bit like that, and even Aux, at least as far as the little bit I've seen so far. Though I will say, like most people, I don't like losing, so I'm still going to fight him again at some point and get that win back. Just, maybe not in a whole "life and death" situation, you know?"

After he moved forward slightly and unleashed a flurry of blows before the one of the darkballs heartless could escape. His combo hitting was successful as the one of the darkball heartless faded into darkness. The heartless around him had to have been anticipating his first step because a darkball heartless with a little shadow heartless riding atop its head had flown directly in front of him. The shadow heartless struck first with its claws outstretched and was swiftly swatted it to the side. The darkball heartlesson the other hand was more on the persistent side with its attacks and spent a bit flying around AJ, narrowly avoiding all of his attack that he threw at the heartless. When the heartless thought it say its chance to strike, it opened it mouth and prepared to strike. That proved to be a fatal mistake for He was able to dodge the attack and launch a counter attack of his own. Vaporizing the darkball heartless soon after. As the blonde settled down a bit more, he began to consider possibilities to get further out of the jam he had placed hhimself in.

With the first of the darkball like heartless having been felled, he was given a bit of a reprieve to catch his breath. As he did so he started to think of what the heartless were like here. The last time he had fought the darkball heartless, in the first wave, they were only difficult to face due to his sheer unfamiliarity with them. However, this time they seemed to be far more ferocious in nature, and not only were they more aggressive but he had felt as though they were faster and stronger as well. They were able to continually exert great pressure, greater then what he had experienced not a few moments ago, and he wondered what was going on here. And though he had only managed to fight a few darkball heartless in the last encounter, these too seemed stronger as well. Trying to figure out what was going on here he looked around and did not see much. He was soon swiftly cut off as another darkball heartless came down to attack him.

Dodging away from the attack first, he did not want to deal with another one of these things so quickly after the last, especially with the damage he had taken so far. He needed to get his wounds healed, though, he hardly expected the heartless to give him the breathing room to actually cure himself. He had to blink a few time to readjust his vision, while the now defeated darkball heartless took a large portion of the blow, he was still a bit dazed from the impact.

The first of the darkball heartless moved fast towards him. Rather than lunging at them, as they would not to do, this darkball heartless floted in a odd way towards him. As it did, two more came out of nowhere. The last two, behind the first, merely seemed to flote there, looking as if they were waiting for something to happen. As the first of the darkball heartless had finally closed to the distance. He watched as more darkball heartless began to rise in front of him. Their bright eyes illuminated the atmosphere of darkness that was laid before them. He let out a sigh time for battle. Holding his weapon aloft, he looked onwards to the swarm of darkball heartless. Hoping to try and deter their efforts while saving some of his own stamina, he helt his wepond over his head. Pointing straight at the darkball heartless and attacked them.

Keeping his routine defensive stance as more shadow heartless appeared, Hikaru listened as Ignis continued to share her story. "Wow, I didn't know you were a mercenary." She spoke a lot about what it was to hold a grudge versus just having something happen as part of the job. It was true that since Hikaru began this little crusade, each world has felt like part of a job he was meant to complete so he could keep the world order. At the very least, she wasn't hating him, which is what Hikaru was hoping for since the beginning. Since his trial of heart, Hikaru had had a looming thought over his head in terms of what became of Aux. He had seen with his own eyes just what the remnant had did. It corrupted him and caused him to act with dark intentions. But the reason he felt most responsible for the whole situation is that because Aux gave up his light just to save him from his fractured heart. While Hikaru had come to terms that his own life was his to live, he still felt he owed Aux a group to call his own and a life to live. He did accept Kaida's advice and chose not to beat himself up too much about it, but part of him wanted to keep Aux safe from further blame.

Before he could think further on the subject, he a few Neoshadows begin to creep their way towards him. Their size was much larger than their shadow counterparts. As he saw them begin to circle him as if they were velociraptors. Hikaru's eyes shifted back and forth watching for any of them to strike. They had long lanky arms, which meant they could cover a large rage with just a sweep of their arms. Taking his keyblade and keeping it vertically in front of them, he carefully paced his feet in a circular motion to get a good idea what was going on in their heads. They had a very predatory mentality, as just like any aggressive creature, their end game was to be able to knock him down and finish him. He pointed his keyblade to the ground and cast a seeker mine spell, causing various seeker mines to appear in a cirular formation around him. Seeing the powerful mines places, the Neoshadows began to scatter. Some jumped up high in the air, while others began to run in the oposite direction. Regardless of what they did, the seeker mines managed to chase them down and detonated themselves in a small controlled explosion. The Neoshadows were for the most part eliminated, with Hikaru lowering his keyblade to see if the damage he done had scared them off for noiw. Looking to the ground, he checked to make sure if there were any straggling shadows or neoshadows performing shadow sneak. The last thing he needed was for any of the heartless to perform a sneak attack while he was busy getting rid of the neoshadows. The area seemed clear for now as he saw a small straggling shadow without anywhere to run. It was close enough for Hikaru to reach without moving himself at all. Taking his keyblade he turned around and quickly slashed at the shadow heartless. A few smacks with his keyblade and the shadow vanished in a puff of smoke after it's defeat. Returning to defensive stance, he could see some darkballs floating around him. Instead of pursuing them, he kept his ground and prepared for if they had planned to decide whether or not they wanted to bring the fight to him.

After having used his makesilf knife, which at this point was like using his bare hands to destroy the heartless before him. While he was able to keep up with the heartless and able to destroy them with great speed, fighting a horde with this knife was far less effective then it was with a keyblade, not that he got the chance to use his yet. He watched as a small group of drakball heartless come out of no where and ended up floating in front of him. They tilted their heads, looking at the sky aimlessly as they rose like black ink from no where to the leveled plain. They looked to him with intense glowing eyes. Their bent teeth showed. One of the darkball heartless jumped towards him, prompting Aux to tilt his head up as he watched the darkball hearless come towards him. The heartless looked down immediately and made a mad gliding dash towards the man. He remained in place as he watched the heartless approach him at an alarming speed. As the darkball heartless prepared to spinn away at his face, He quickly stabbed the darkball heartless by it's head causing it to flail. He glared at the creature as he jumped into the air, the darkball heartless' head still in his palm. As he jumped back down, he swung down his hand, slamming his palm and the heartless' head with it.

Now that it was unable to escape becasue of the countless heartless infrount of him. With a heavy swing, he attacked another darkball heartless. The rotund heartless was caught unaware and he threw the darkball heartless into another one. He sent the darkball heartless into it companion. The darkball heartless would at least would take some damage. As much as he wanted to say they were getting close to finishing up their fight here, it was hard to convince himself of that. He looked around and noticed that there were just begining the battle. He fired off a another strike to a wayward darkball heartless. He took a swing at another darkball heartless, taking it out and looking around. It seemed kind of strange how there were so many enemies and yet they did not just completely overwhelm him all at once.

It had appeared that he somehow had managed to get the darkballs to slow down. They were slowed down for now but he knew that they would attack soon. It seemed that the stopped darkballs were not going to stay stopped. Taking another deep breath, and ready for the onslot that was sure to come from the darkballs and shadows. With his wepond at the ready the boy charged forward with swift speed rushing towards the darkball heartless. before they could do anything. With a single cut nothing seemed to happen at first, only for the keyblade master to then immediately strike with yet another swing of his weapon the darkball exploded. Another darkball show up this one looking regular size and he took this one one fast too. The heartless were destroyed in an instant, unable to take the raw force of the attack, and dissipated back into the strands of shadow they were made of. He was staring to get the grove of this battling thing but he knew that he was getting tired. With that some of the heartless were now gone. He knew that he would be be able to cut through the heartless even more easily than he had been before, and started to run headfirst into the on coming mob. There was still a gap between him and the next darkball heartless, meaning that he would have to try and make his way further through the battle at hand. There was more fighting to be had before he could ever make it over to the next darkball. He watched as the darkball heartless flew through the air before hinting the ground and disapearing. Perhaps he should have thought things through before throwing a heartless into the air. Spinning himself around he searched around for anyone that was familiar. He still was not quite able to see anyone again.

The shadows that Stratos had crashed into exploded into wisps of darkness as the boy's body smashed into the ground, his body skipping across before he managed to get back to his feet. He was a bit unsteady at first, needing to find his balance, yet he eventually managed to steady himself, looking towards the large foe he was against. Stratos could tell that the beast was far stronger than he was anticipating, as what had just hit him wasn't even a full power attack. He was merely smacked, tossed away effortlessly by a small little slap. As such, he knew that if he were to keep fighting this thing, he had to avoid getting hit by a direct punch no matter what. As he looked to the face of the creature, though, he could see some of the writhing and clustered tendrils that made up the creature's face were either missing or cut apart. It was clear that it was wounded from his attack, and aiming for the face was definitely the way to go. However, there was also the issue of having to actually get to the creature's face in the first place that made it all the more difficult, especially now that the large humanoid heartless was paying more attention to the boy.

To make matters even worse, Stratos looked from behind him and saw a few more heartless behind him also taking notice. More specifically, and more problematically, they were neo shadows. With claws at the ready, the creature's started twitching their heads around, seemingly ready to pounce on the the keyblade master. Of course, now that he had noticed them, they were now ready to pounce on to him. Rushing forward, running along the ground, the first of the neo shadows jumped at the boy, causing Stratos to roll forward. As he dodged the attack, he then looked that he had now sent himself in front of the dark side. It didn't seem like it was going to punch him this time, instead merely putting its hand to the ground, moving it across the ground. Trying to dodge roll to the side, Stratos managed to barely avoid being slapped by the back hand of the dark side, only for the other two neo shadows to leap towards him, claws at the ready. The boy kicked forward, sliding across the ground as he dashed into one of the neo shadows. As he brought his blade through the heartless, following up with an ignited slash and felling the heartless, the other neo shadow had managed to claw him in the back.

Wincing in pain from the attack, the boy imbued his blade with darkness, rushing at the neo shadow next to him. Striking one after the other in a string of seven hits, Stratos unleashed a splatter combo into the creature's torso, cleaving off parts of its body. With one final, regular, slash the boy managed to fell the heartless. Looking over, the darkside was now moving again, its other hand coming towards him with its fingers extended and bringing its palm towards Stratos. Realizing that the creature was trying to grab him, the boy pointed his keyblade towards the dark side's face, he shouted, "Thunder Bell." A lightning orb formed at the tip of his keyblade, firing off and into the face of the dark side. As the bell hit the heartless in the face, it recoiled backwards, its hand moving away from him. Before he could even find more room to breathe, the final neo shadow moved towards him, the boy back stepped away, having the claw strike into his torso, before dashing forward with a series of consecutive regular slashes into the heartless to slay it.

There was still a gap between him and the next larger darkball heartless, meaning that he would have to try and make his way further through the battle at hand. There was more fighting to be had before he could ever make it over to the largest darkball yet. Frustrated about not being able to get to that large darkball heartless. He brought his attention to the closest darkball to him. He readied himself and the darkball flew at him stapping his knife into the darkball. He began to spin it over his head before throwing it straight at another darkball that was popping somewhere between him and the largeest darkball yet. He watched as the darkball heartless flew through the air before hinting the ground and disapearing. Perhaps hhe should have thought things through before throwing a heartless into the air. Spinning himself aroundshe searched around for anyone that was familiar. He still was not quite able to see anyone. He was a keyblade master but yet he felt no different. he was ready for more darkballs. Strike after strike that the darkballs did he dodged the darkballs as the came close. He was not sure how much damage they could do to him but he was not about to find out by getting hit. The largest drakball looked ready to try and kill him.

Through all this he managed to close the distance between himself and the large darkball. He did not worry too much about the Iarge darkball as soon he was sure it would be gone. He knew that the moment that he stopped moving left to right and back again there would be an attack again. He did not want the battle to come to him as it was easier for him to take out things slowly to the side. So he just made sure that he kept on was still hopping around so that if they did attack he would be ready. He was sure the heartless would miss if they attacked. After that he took the makeshift knife and drove it forward into where the heart would be if this darkball was a person It was hard to tell being that it was a floating orb but he did his best. The Heartless tried to fight back but it was hopless for it.

With the last of the three neo shadows that had been assaulting him being destroyed, the boy looked up to see the dark side he had struck. The lightning from his thunder bell was arcing across its face, spark jumping across the different tendrils, and the creature seemed to be pushed back by the attack in full. Yet, it didn't take long for the shocking effect to subside from it and the creature merely moved its head back into being straight once more, as it stared down and looked at Stratos, its golden eyes fixed on him. Whereas before, where Stratos saw nothing but an instinctual need to kill and consume before, here he saw something much more expressive. He could see an anger, and one that was directed at him no less. Stratos backed away from the creature, expecting it to let loose yet another punch, though his attention was split once again as he did so. As it turned out, his fight against the large heartless was not meant to be a one against one fight, as more heartless had decided to join in on the fray and attack the boy while he was being occupied with the creature.

Three more neo shadows had clawed their way out of the ground, standing upright yet still hunched with a predatory look in their eyes as they stared towards the boy. With claws at the ready, they began to make their way towards the boy, who in turn wanted to get away from the dark side. Of course, the only meditate way to do that was to dodge towards the heartless. Looking at the dark side, he saw it bringing its hand back again, likely winding up for yet another punch towards him. Knowing that being in the general vicinity for that would be bad, the boy merely rushed forward towards the neo shadows, spinning his keyblade in his hand as he did. Tossing it, with a spin the strike raid was sent towards one of the shadows who merely struck at with their claw. While his attack had been deflected the neo shadow that parried it also seemed to be off balance now, causing the boy to recall his keyblade to his hand and pointing the blade at the stunned neo shadow. With a ball of flame forming at the tip of his keyblade, the heat apparent, the stopped momentarily and said, "firaga" as he fired the fire based magic at the heartless. The ball homed in on the heartless, and with a large explosion engulfed it, slaying it almost instantly.

Looking behind him, he saw that the dark side had managed to close its fingers and ball them into a fist yet again, the hand seeming to be charged with a purple and black dark energy. It was in this moment of distraction that the neoshadows managed to close the distance on the boy, who had been able to react in time with his guard. Placing his keyblade up, he managed to block one of the claws of the neo shadows, only for the second one's to go underneath it and cut a bit into his torso. Stepping back away, the boy saw the fist beginning to come down towards him and knew what had to be done. Rolling forward, past the heartless, he then turned around to face them as cherry blossoms fluttered in the air. As time came to a stand still, the boy vanished from sight as he appeared behind the dark side. The two neo shadows seemed to be instantly cut in half, and part of one of the dark side's tendrils also was cleaved off.
