Video Game: Kingdom Hearts SOS: The Road To Light

Ignis had walked into Shibuya from Zootopia, glad to finally be done with being an animal again. Though there was the bright side of not having to be stuck on all fours like when she joined up in that forest from a while back. But either way, she wasn't a fan of being an animal, and preferred to have a human body. Everyone else was getting excited about the fact that they finished the last of their worlds and to be granted their Master title. Ignis just wanted to be done with this test one way or the other by this point, given how many worlds they had to go through.
"So does anyone know where we go from here? I'd like to be able to go find a place to get new clothes, mine are getting a little worn out for my liking. Do I have to wait for us to get back to our own realm, or is there a shop here that I might be able to visit?" She looked around, wondering if maybe these administrators would be kind enough to give them a little break before whatever else was supposed to happen. "Hey Kaida, think you could give me some tips on new clothes? I want to try something like your outfit."

Kaida was a bit surprised when Ignis asked about her outfit and she looked at her coat and said, "Well, I didn't actually pick out my outfit. When I ended up accidentally on Central Haven I was wearing uniform from my homeworld and uh..." she crossed her arms and continued, "Master Sora thought it'd be funny if I kept up the color scheme and it just kind of became a thing. Reminds me of home though." she looked at her jacket and said "The best thing I can offer is that you should try and wear for maximum efficiency more so than design. Like, it's cool to be this kid over here with a cloak." Kaida replied pointing to Beuce for emphasis, "But what good is it gonna do for you when you're trying to evade someone's fire spell?"

"I like to dress like this so if I end up in the cold I can adjust everything." she pulled down her sleeves on her jacket and then her pant legs and shrugged, "It's better to overdress than underdress sometimes anyway, so if it gets too hot." Kaida pulled her jacket off and she just had a plain jane gray shirt under it, she tired her jacket to her waste and then fingergunned at Ignis, "And then bam, it's kind of stylish having it like this. And that's my recipe for fashion, Ignis. It's not amazing but that's what I've got." she unfastened her jacket from her waste so she could put it back on and cuff her sleeves and legs again,.

 

As Stratos was walking around, smile clear on his face as everyone else seemed to be taking in the realization as well, he and Kel were suddenly tackle hugged by Kaida. Chuckling at both her admission of past failure but raw enthusiasm in the face of it, the boy waved her off as she let go and bounded off after the others. Looking around, he saw Aislinn come back as well, the woman greeting both him and Kel. With a wave back to her as well, he said, "yeah, nothing out of the ordinary really. We were just walking, talking animals and had to deal with a revolution of birds. You know how these things go." He joked. "So, judging by her over there," he motioned to Kaida, "I take it you all passed your world with flying colors too?"

 

Having crossed back over to the other side, Ananta stood alone for a minute. She was lamenting on not being able to sit on Aux's head still. It was so much easier than having to walk or fly around. Unlike her other companions, she didn't really have too much trouble moving. Though when Megumi came back and gave them all sorts of new powers and things, Ananta looked up and saw Aux was still with them. Through their adventures in the Pride Lands, Ananta was really wondering if they were supposed to still be suspicious of him. After all, he worked with the group and helped them just as much as anybody else.

Ananta didn't care that he was talking to others, she walked over and tapped his shoulder. She was curious of one thing. "Aux, when this is over, you're going to stick with us...aren't you?" she asked, not wanting to say goodbye so soon. Aux was a cool guy, she wanted to be a friend. Even if Kaida might get angry about it, Ananta already felt like she could be Aux's friend.

"And uh, sorry about the head sitting. Your hat's clean, see?" she said, tapping at her head, indicating he ought to check.​

Hearing familiar voice, Kel turned to see Aislinn waving in his direction. Kel returned the wave, saying "It did, no worries here." Suddenly the blue hair teen found himself being pulled in, followed by an excited Kaida exclaiming in excitement. "I see no reason why not, we all passed everything they threw at us!" A little excitement of his own had leaked out, but there was nothing wrong with that. They had earned the right to be excited. Kel was surprised to see Aux had approached him. "We found some missing cops and stopped a crazy bird." Being that he was still within earshot of Aislinn and Stratos, he heard part of what they were saying but didn't really say anything on it until. "You danced the hula?" Clearly confused despite the official declaration of them becoming masters and some of the perks it came with.

The first thing that happened after they got back was that Beuce and Kaida had some sort of conversation. Something about the old times. That was when Ignis came up and said, 'So does anyone know where we go from here? I'd like to be able to go find a place to get new clothes, mine are getting a little worn out for my liking. Do I have to wait for us to get back to our own realm, or is there a shop here that I might be able to visit?' "Well if it is like anything else around here it will just appear at some point. After all it is how everything else happens it just pops up." He shrugged, as sooner or latter something would happen or appear. Kaida then proceeded to give tips to Ignis about clothing. That was when Hikaru appeared back in Shibuya and he snuck off to take care of something. He was always going off in secret.

That was when Megumi stepped from out of the corner of everyone's eyes. He was not surprised. So were they just all going to pretend the last time he showed up Glen went missing? He was trying to figure out why Megumi was being so nice. 'Well done to all of you. I feel a simple congratulations isn't enough, but here I am congratulating you. You've all shown rapid growth and steady co-ordination. I'm proud to award you these well deserved tokens of mastery.' He just did not know what to say about this. That was when Aislinn said to Stratos, 'Thank you for being a great partner and teammate. I know it is easier to go with your friends, so it means a lot. Couldn't have made it to master without any of you.' He must have missed that something between Aislinn and Stratos happened. That was when Kel said to Aislinn, 'You danced the hula?' "It was one of those had to be there moments." He walked away slightly from the others and looked into the endless darkness.

 

Stratos continued to smile and laugh as Aislinn seemed to through an equally weird experience. As it was revealed that they were indeed now masters, Stratos was briefly stunned in joy, only to then be swept away by Aislinn's enthusiasm as well. Patting the woman on the shoulder, Stratos smiled saying, "well, can't say I could've done it without you as well partner. Even since back at the castle of illusions, if it wasn't for you we'd all probably still be locked in chests. So it's been a pleasure working with you as well." After giving Aislinn a thumbs up, the boy started to walk over to see that they were now supposed to pick some kind of Aura things.

They all seemed to be representative of some element or strength that each of them had. Looking through all of them, the first that had stood out to him was the element of Darkness. It was one that, in terms of techniques he knew, he was just getting to learn them. Yet, like everyone here, he was no stranger to it. The boy knew that the only way he was going to get stronger was if he learned everything he could. And this included the techniques of his enemies. The next that stood out to him was Gravity. The natural enemy of time, and something he would eventually need to learn in order to defeat the one opponent he had to beat. Then with the last one to pick, Stratos looked through the Auras and, while he was curious about Blade, there was something strange about Sound to him. It was an element all on its own, with nothing to couple with it. It had no purpose by itself, exiting within its own void, and only through the power of others did it manage to find meaning. Thinking it a perfect fit for him, the last of the Auras for Stratos to select was Sound.

"Well, now that we're Masters guys," he turned to group and said. "I suppose I could also use a wardrobe change," he looked at his ragged and damaged clothing. With a smile across his face the boy said, "I know we still need to find a way out of this realm of darkness, but, I think we should get anything we need out of the way first, right? A little calm before the storm, since we just weathered plenty."

 

Kaida had been so excited over the fact that she was now a master, there wasn't anything that was going to kill her mood at this point. When Aux addressed her, she was still smiling a bit, though less so as she was reminded of the scenario they were in. She looked around for Hikaru for a second before she turned back to Aux, "Yue's probably outside waiting for us. She probably doesn't wanna congratulate me." she was joking mostly. The looked towards the portal back and stared at it a minute before looking back to Aux, "So... our entrance fee is gonna be returned. I... assume that's going to mean you're getting your memory back."

Kaida took a deep breath in before asking, "I hope you remember what's happened here, with the mark of mastery... and it doesn't bring you back to what you were with a disregard for us." she turned away and said, "Cause it's not that I don't want to be your friend... it's that I don't think you really want to be mine anymore." she crossed her arms and said, "If you turn on us after we go out there, I won't forgive you. But if you don't... I'm... sorry I've been so cold."​

 

"A pain? If anybody, I'm more of a pain..." Ananta commented, shrugging her shoulders. Soon enough, Megumi came back and all their player pins changed colors. Since there was a sense of emergency, Ananta nearly started to run for the portal. She looked to Kaida and Aux, listening to their conversation. At least Kaida apologized for being so cold. It wasn't really Ananta's place to comment about that, however, but she did nod in agreement with the apology. "He's not as bad as you said he would be. Aux is actually a pretty cool guy, I'm jealous you know him so well." she chuckled. "But you know what, we're all masters now. And if anything happens, Kaida, I'll be there to keep you going. Okay?" she said, smiling. "I've been a jerk too, so please, take my apology. I'm sorry I didn't consider your feelings towards Aux earlier. I don't know exactly what happened, but I can tell it wasn't a good thing. I wish I was there to see it for myself."

Not even sticking around, Ananta stepped towards the portal. "And sorry for butting in so much." she spoke lowly, knowing all too well herself she wasn't the most liked member of the group of masters. "I'll work on it."​

 

"Yeah," Stratos nodded towards Aislinn, "might as well make everything about this future new." As their instructor told them they were free to do what they wanted, they still only had a set amount of time to get through their ferry. Looking at the pin as it turned into a more ominous red color, the boy didn't think much on it at first. However, he was looking forward to being able to let the thing go, as it was proof they were no longer apart of these games to become a master. "Well, I'm going to look around for a bit," with that, Stratos began to walk around Shibuya, though, he saw Ananta make a break for the portal. He understood the urgency in her departure, though, didn't quite feel it himself. Instead, he merely looked for a place to change his wardrobe which, given the sheer volume of buildings in Shibya, wasn't all that difficult. Moments later, the boy came out in his new outfit, feeling a lot more free with the current jacket he was wearing. Cracking his knuckles, he walked back over to the group, saying, "well, anyone else got something fun to do in our time here?"

 

Kaida didn't exactly get enough time to respond to Ananta before she was heading towards the portal and she said, "Wait, Ananta. I'm sorry for overreacting. It... ended up a lot better than I thought. And I took it out on you... I'm sorry."

When Ananta had focused towards the portal, Aux started responding to Kaida and turned back over to Aux to listen. She smiled a little bit and was going to reply then and there, but jumped a bit at Hikaru's reaction. She watched the two in a bit of amusement and eventually began to laugh a little saying, "Oh come on. You don't have to be like that." Kaida jumped up and grabbed Aux, pulling him back to throw him off balance a bit just to pull him in for a hug and reached out towards Hikaru and pulled him in as well, "If it's the last chance I get at a hug. I'll take it. So hug it out, fuddy duddy."​

 

Luna looked over at Aux as he addressed her and Kel. He had asked about what happened in the world that they had visited. Kel had then explained. Before Luna could speak, she looked over at saw Megumi address the whole group. He had begun congratulating everyone on achieving the mark of mastery. She had felt power flow within her. She smiled and looked back up to see a mischievous look on his face. He had given everyone just a small taste of dark magic. She grabbed her chest and her smile had been wiped away. She had felt a small pain in her chest. "This magic...Is this really dark magic?" Megumi had then went on to notify the group that they had gained the power of Auras. He had said that the auras they would choose would become a part of them. Luna looked through the auras and saw Light stick out to her the most. She was essentially a symbol of it, with her being one of the seven princesses. She wanted to make sure that those who have lost hope to find it once more. She then looked over to see another aura stick out to her....Earth. She had associated it with the thought of protecting those who cannot protect themselves and protect her family and loved ones from any danger. She finally looked over at another aura that stood out to her...Sound. Sound was all around her. Helping her guide her steps if she was lost. It had also comforted her when she was not feeling well or if she was upset. She looked over the list once more before something else caught her eye...Water. She always felt at peace when she was near water. She wanted to be as calm and graceful as a river stream but as powerful and mighty as a tsunami. Luna closed her eyes before opening them. Light...Earth...Water...Those would be the three auras she would choose. She looked over to where Stratos and the others were as he suggested they get some new clothes. Aislinn had agreed with him. Luna smiled before looking at the pin in her hand. "24 hours...I think that's plenty of time." She started to walk around before coming up to a small shop. After a few minutes of looking around, Luna had finally picked out a new outfit, fit of her new title as master. She reached for a small bag that she had with her. She grabbed a box with a moon on it and pulled it from her bag. She opened it to reveal a crown. "Hello old friend. It's been awhile." She lifted the crown and placed it on her head. After thanking the shopkeepers, she walked out the door and spoke to herself for a moment. "Another step towards the bright future ahead....No more hiding...." Luna walked back over to the group before looking over to Stratos as he asked what else they could do for the remaining time they were here. She walked over to him and the others. "Well, I think a small walk would do us all some good. The weather's pretty nice so why not?" She smiled as she suggested her idea.​

 

She stopped upon hearing her name. Listening to Kaida, Ananta felt tears start to prick her eyes and fall. She reached up and tried to wipe the tears off, but she couldn't. They just kept coming. For the first time in a long time, somebody had told her they were sorry and it was starting to break her heart. Nobody had shown her kindness like this in a long time and it was such a surprise.

Turning back around, she saw Kaida, Aux, and Hikaru in a tight hug...well, it was sort of one sided with Kaida doing most of the hugging and the other two joining in. Hikaru was haing fun and Aux was...not happy, to say the least. Ananta walked back to Kaida, tears still falling down her cheeks. "Kaida...?" she said meekly, hoping not to interrupt. "Can...can I join in on the hugging fun times?" she asked, honestly feeling like a hug was what she needed at this point.​
