Video Game: Kingdom Hearts SOS: The Road To Light

Beuce followed mok back to the Police station. He honestly wondered why they were going along with this whole "pretending to be police officers" thing. Weren't there repercussions for this? Well, it wasn't exactly like they could just put them in jail for impersonation. Cages didn't exactly work well on people who could unlock anything in the universe with a flick of a wrist. Whatever, they had a sheep to interrogate. He had a pretty good idea of where the penitentiary was. He'd seen in passing as they were putting the tickets on the cars. "Alright, lets head out." He barked to Stratos and Ignis before walking out the door.

Once they were outside, he turned to the two. "So, this good samaritan police work is all well and good, helps the common folk and keeps the order of the city, but do we actually have any indication as to what we're supposed to be doing? Both times previously, we had some kind of clue as to our mission. In the first world, Stratos and I had 'Defeat the Monster, Save the Man'. I'm not sure what you had, but I'd imagine you also had something. The second time, we had to collect the password that turned out to be the princesses of heart. What this time?" He continued walking toward their destination, pondering over their lack of direction. "What did you have in your world, Ignis? Maybe it'll help us get a common theme together to at least venture a guess." ​

 

After getting back to the police station, Clawhauser had mentioned another rabbit officer by the name of Judy handing out 200 tickets all by herself. "I hope she and Nick are okay." As Clawhauser was about to go on, a large buffalo, who had appeared to be the chief, had walked up to the group. He handed each person profiles of Officers Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde. Luna looked at Judy's profile and saw she was a rabbit just like her and same height not to mention. She then went and looked over Nick's profile. He was a fox that had been smiling in his profile. Chief Bogo went on to brief the group on the situation with those two so far. The two was last seen in Tundratown before they disappeared and no one had seen or heard from them since. Bogo had informed them that there were two individuals the two had encountered before and plans to interrogate them. One team would interrogate one individual while the other team interrogates the other. Bogo immediately called Luna, Steel, and Kel and told them to go and find Duke Weaselton in a place called Little Rodentia. The three made their outside the building and on their way to Little Rodentia. Luna was the first to speak up. "For two of Zootopia's best officers to go missing like that....I wonder what happened? I hope this Duke Weaselton will have answers for us. What about you guys?" Luna looked over to her teammates as she was walking.

 

Two of their officers had gone missing and they were to interrogate the ones who had might know what happened to them. Sounded simple enough despite not knowing much about how to interrogate. Something about a good cop and a bad cop? Whatever, they could figure it all out when they got there or along the way. Kel briefly skimmed through the file that was handed to them specifically, momentarily surprised to hear someone else say his last name at that. With the objective being given to them they headed towards their destination. "Maybe someone wanted them out of the picture. They could've gotten annoyed with all those parking ticket thing." Kel said. 200 of those things was both impressive and a bit much.

 

Ananta pecked the lion in protest. "Hey, I talked to you first, Aux." she said, frowning. "At least acknowledge I'm even here!"

Sure she's a bird, but ignoring her even being on his head? That was just rude! Ananta was not having any of that mess.

Andrew continued to walk with Kaida and Aislinn not really paying attention to much of what they were saying. Thinking about Aux, it was really convenient that he lost his memories and did not seem to have any at all. He was not sure what to think about it. After some time he thought they would have made some progress but it did not seem like they made it far at all. They were at some sort of valley. There was nothing in sight but a small assortments of rocks next to a dead tree. That was when the lioness said that 'this is where our last king; Mufasa died. He was killed in stampede, along with his son; Simba. Simba was my best friend. I miss him everyday.' "I know it is hard to see someone you know die." He said this like he knew what it was like. His voice was of sympathy. Then there was a option to go left to get to where they were going or take a trip to the elephant graveyard. While the second option seemed like a interesting idea he thought it might be better to continue on there way. That was when Aux came up to him and said, 'What's your story?' He did not even know how to go about answering the question. Then there was the fact that Ananta was still on the lion's head and he did not know both of them that well and it seemed odd to answer the question to, two people he did not know.

He did not know where to start. It was not like he could say when a mommy and daddy lion love each other very much they... He could say it but he did not. "What do you mean what is my story? Like why am I here? Well I told you back in Game Central Station and sugar rush." He said this in a neutral tone. He did not trust Aux and did not feel like giving him to much information. So he decided to give him some information without much detail. "My home world is messed up. I somehow ended up in the realm of darkness and decided to help out where I can. To help others because why not? I thought that..." That was when Ananta pecked aux in the head and said, 'Hey, I talked to you first, Aux. At least acknowledge I'm even here!' He did not see the big deal. If it came to being ignored he would be the king. He did not even get to finish saying what he was going to say.

"I think Ananta want to talk to you." He said this allowing Aux to talk to Ananta. He did not really care that much that Ananta wanted to talk to Aux. There was also the fact that he did not trust Aux and this made it so he did not have to say much. He thought that the reaction was over the top with Ananta but he tried not to think about it to much.

Ignis listened to Beuce as they continued to walk to their destination. She pondered for a moment, thinking about what they were supposed to be doing in this world. It was true that in the other worlds they had a goal set for them and this time was different since they went in without any information, but it's not like they didn't have anything to do.

"Well," she responded to Beuce's question, "For the first world we had to help a kid out with some problems, and the second one was the same as you: getting the password that turned out to be a list of people."

She stopped at that thought, thinking about a little while ago back in Game Central Station when she had one of her famous moments. At that point she shoved the last bit of her previous thought out of her head, so she didn't get reminded of anything else that might set her off.

"Maybe we already have a mission and we just don't know about it. I mean, for the most part helping people has led us to what we need, so maybe just acting like police will get us where we need to be?"

She continued to walk, and then turned a corner as they neared the penitentiary. She looked at it and wondered what kind of people they were going to meet inside. Back in her old life she beat the living crap out of those who were likely to end up in jail, or even kill them. For their sakes, she hoped no one inside tried anything funny, or they were going to end up with a very bad day.

 

Kaida was silent as she listened to Aislinn piece everything together and she let out a sigh and said, "You... basically said my own thoughts but out loud." Kaida looked back over towards Aux and saw... whatever was going on with Ananta and AJ. She turned her head back and admitted out loud, sounding a different kind of sad as she said it. All the other times she'd been sad and explaining her thoughts, there was a hint of bitterness and anger behind it, but this time it just seemed to be hidden behind regret and confusion, "I... I know it sounds odd but the way he is right now, it's the way we were before everything happened. This was the Aux I was best friends with. I... just came to accepting the fact that this was gone. That whatever kept us as friends was gone. Now he's back this way and it... hurts." Kaida looked up over towards Hikaru a minute and then back towards Aislinn, "I don't... want to care about him again... only for him to gain those memories back and go through all of this again... it's why I'm just trying to be cold about it." The blonde stretched her wings a minute and jumped up in the air and flapped her wings to land gently on Aislinn's back. She was basically the weight of a chicken, pretty much nothing, so she hoped it wasn't causing Aislinn anguish or anything though it might have seemed weird. She burrowed a bit and said, "Aux never liked heartache. He'd understand why I'm avoiding it."

Listening to Aux, Ananta considered everything he was saying. She nodded at him, knowing that them meddling may not be the best thing, but she knew there was no other way to pass these exams. "Regardless of these worlds being asleep or awake, we've gotta help them. Heartless and darkness are everywhere these days. We can't let the heartless or those affected by darkness rule over a world. It certainly hurts the world more than anything. Besides, the last world's we went to solved their problems themselves. We just helped them ensure that." she said, looking down at Aux. "Isn't that what we're supposed to do? Protect the worlds and make sure they can continue on? I want to try and restore the lost world's too. Like AJ's and mine. There's gotta be a way to do it. Right?"

She sighed and shook her head, looking ahead at Nala and Hikaru. Aislinn had joined her too, it seemed. Though she did hear Aux mention messing up his hat. "Just for that, I'm gonna do it. I wasn't, but now I am." she joked.

She hated that she interrupted AJ's story, seeing as the poor guy probably never told anybody. "AJ you can....continue your story, by the way." she said, looking over at him.​

 

Steel held back a chuckle at Kel's response. It was entertaining to be sure, but the possibility remained very real. Beyond just the parking tickets, the fact that the two were the "Zootopia's best" meant that more than a few entities in the criminal underbelly of the city were like to have it out for them. Weaselton was an under-grounder, so he would likely know a few good places to start. It was something they knew all to well really, getting that sort of help. What with having their profiles magically appear with Bogo, they were above any form of the usual suspicion of being foreign elements, and were completely free to operate as authorities. No doubt Megumi's doing.

Hopps and Wilde themselves seemed... vaguely familiar to him. No doubt because of the foreknowledge of the his previous incarnation. Such knowledge was now considerably more limited to him, especially since he had split up from his brother and sister. They likely still retained their pieces, so he could try to call them... but that seemed like it might be forbidden within the rules of the game. While they were resources that he regularly had access to, it would be best to not even undergo the ordeal of bothering to argue the point to someone who may not even be convinced. To be honest, Megumi's position might have even granted him insight into that ability of Steel's and blocked it off. He hadn't bothered trying to contact the other two since the exam began, and they hadn't called for him either, so he didn't even know if he could reach them at the moment.

Best to just leave things be and finish with the test as is.

"Kel's words ring true, though we might wanna worry more about catching the guy once we find him." He shrugged. "Chief said he was slippery."

Andrew turned when Aanata when stared talking to Aux. Then Aux said, 'As for all that stuff about meddling, it's just... why bother? The events of this world are meant to happen without us interfering' That was not true. Darkness came into the world and changed it. More then anything else they were setting the worlds back to before there was darkness. When he had said to Aux something about Game Central Station the reaction from Aux was that he did not remember what had happened. He had gathered that Aux had memory problems for some time. He wondered about that. That was when Ananta said, 'Isn't that what we're supposed to do? Protect the worlds and make sure they can continue on? I want to try and restore the lost world's too. Like AJ's and mine. There's gotta be a way to do it. Right?' "I am not so sure about that. I feel like I would feel more if it was lost. I feel like it is asleep."

He was not so sure but it was the best he could come up with. He was sure that he would have had more of a reaction or would feel something more if it was lost but he was not so sure. He was not so sure about Ananta helping he wanted to save his world. Then Ananta said, 'AJ you can....continue your story, by the way.' "Nah it is fine it is depressing as..." He was not so sure what the right word was. "It was bad before darkness hit." Part of him wondered if it was worth saving then guilt hit him, how could he think such a thing. There were a few people in the world that were good. Then a idea came into his head what if darkness was always there or at least was there for a long time. It made so much more sense but he was not sure.

 

As the group was given the work to be done, which was apparently questioning some convicted criminals, he walked alongside his two partners for the mission. As they began to move out, Beuce seemed to wonder what exactly they were supposed to be doing in this world. While Stratos thought about it for a bit, he nodded as Ignis gave her answer. "Our mission is probably so unclear because it's our last one. But, you know," he seemed to ponder a bit before seeming to keep a positive expression up. "It's not like this is the first time this has happened. When we first went to Camelot it's not like we had any clue what we were doing there, but look how that ended up. So, I think as long as we keep moving forward, we'll stumble upon trouble in no time." As he said this, the group seemed to be in front of the penitentiary that they were told to go to. "And this seems like a perfect place to stumble onto that trouble."

 

Luna listened and nodded her head as Kel and Steel spoke. "Chief said he was slippery." Luna looked over to Steel as he recalled the Chief's words. Luna looked ahead of her and saw a sign that read 'Little Rodentia'. She stopped and called out to her teammates. "Hey guys! I think we made to where we need to be! Little Rodentia...." Luna walked ahead and looked at the area. "It's definitely little alright." Luna chuckled a bit before looking for their suspect. Her eyes came across a weasel going about the town. "Found him!" Luna pointed over to the weasel and started walking over. Upon approaching the weasel, Luna called out to him. "Duke Weaselton? Sorry for the disturbance but we have some questions for you. Do you have a few minutes to spare?" Luna smiled at the weasel as she spoke and awaiting for his reply.

 

Kaida had looked at Aislinn and said, "I think so..." but then the events began to unfold. Listening to Hikaru react in shock that the lion was going to go after, well, an animal, was pretty interesting. And she'd be lying if she didn't find slight amusement in Aux's morbid comments about describing the attack. But before she could even think, she'd somehow gotten involved when a meerkat jumped up on her back and proceeded to ride her like a horse. Whatever he did, it managed to make Kaida let out a little, "Kweh!" before she suddenly moved forward, running off of Aislinn's back and after the warthog, "W-what? HEY! EXCUSE ME!?" before she tried to halt herself saying, "Do you just jump on every bird to you run into and try to ride them?" she paused a bit and looked at the meerkat before looking over at Hikaru and letting out a groaned noise before saying, "Mmmm... Nala?! You could go after bigger prey than the pig if we keep looking!" and Kaida reluctantly started making chase after her. "One pig isn't gonna feed the whole family!"​

Andrew tuned when Nala perked up her head as she began sneaking off. 'I think I smell something in this direction.' Before he could do anything she ran off. That warthog was not going to be enough food, then there was the fact that they did not know where that thing had been. Then Aux said 'Well what did you think they were gonna eat? Bugs?' No he thought they were going to just find this place then go back and lead the pridelanders back here or that was what it seemed what they were going to do. Then a small meerkat came in saying 'Puumba! Oh geez this is bad!' The meerkat then ran past Nala and turned to see the large lion forms of AJ and Aux. 'AHH! PREDATORS!' Did everyone just judge a book by its cover here or what? He was not going to hurt anyone. "Well this is interesting. We are going to bring unwanted attention at this rate." There had to be more then just two animals in this place.

He saying what Aislinn said moments before. There was not much he could do or say at the moment and he was not about to get in Nala's way.

 

As the trio had made their way to the detention center, they entered the building, making their way through and being directed to where their target was. While Stratos had no idea who "Bellwether" was, thankfully the people who actually were from this world did, and thus finding them wasn't all that hard. When they finally made it into the room with the sheep, they were given a table to sit at, with their suspect on the other side. "Hello there Ms., uh, Bellwether, was it? Me and my friends here are here on behalf of the uh..." Stratos was blanking on who it was they were helping before saying, "the police. And we'd like to ask you a few questions, if you wouldn't mind? We're a bit new, so, mind telling us what a uh, sheep like you is doing in a place like this?" That was about as far as Stratos's plan had gone. He didn't actually know who this person was, and thus, didn't actually know what they had done to be in here in the first place.
