Video Game: Kingdom Hearts SOS: The Road To Light

As Steel hurled one of their enemies into the other, Glen let out a whistle. The guy was good, and quick. This part of the test was going to be awesome, he could feel it. In fact, he was so distracted by Steel being awesome that Leo had the time to get up and hit him with the butt of his gun. Yes, Glen's reactions were that slow. Anyway, right as Leo aimed his gun at Glen and prepared to fire, something extraordinary happen. Leo teleported backwards about three or four steps backwards, his feet freezing in place as he began teleporting around from place to place. He opened his mouth and tried to say something, but all Glen or anyone heard was robotic sounds, as though he had a terribly bad connection.

Taking the opportunity, the keyslinger opened fire at Karina who was now preparing to fire at him. Fortunately for him (and UNfortunately for Leo) one of his random teleports placed him right in front of the bullets and he took both the bulletstorm from Glen and Karina at the same time. He froze in several different positions, slowly but surely collapsing onto the ground before he seemed to explode into small, blocky pixels. Glen blinked a couple of times, not quite sure what had just transpired. He looked over to Karina, who just shrugged her shoulders and then raised her gun once again. She pulled the trigger, but appeared to be out of ammunition. She began the reload process, leaving her open to an attack, but the aatarsiluan keyblade wielder was too far away and really simply shooting Karina just wouldn't be satisfying enough. Glancing in the direction of his partner he gave a brief nod, giving his silent permission to have his kill stolen.

Ignis continued to fight against their opponents, throwing her disk to try and score points. She threw her disk at Eon again, but this time he seemed ready, as he blocked her throw and sent the disk right at back her. In a moment while Ignis was grabbing her disk again, another disk flew past her arm. Ignis didn't know where it came from and didn't have time to react. As the disk passed by, it left a small scratch on Ignis's arm. She watched as the disk flew back and landed in Anora's hands. Apparently the disk was from when Luna sent it flying from her hand.
"I'll deal with you later." She faced away from Anora and went after her original second target, and threw her disk, hitting Cat in the leg while she was distracted by Kaida.

After the match had ended, Stratos looked around to see that everyone else had made it out safe and sound as well. With the arena around them disappearing, Stratos reconvened with them, only to see that Team Sark had won their match as well. While he wasn't exactly confident in his ability to out maneuver the opposing team on a light cycle, he was happy for the reprieve they had gotten just now. As Hikaru asked about strategy, Stratos thought about it for a moment. It wasn't as though he knew enough to give general riding tips, but based on the last match he figured he had come up with something. "Well, for one thing, I think it's best if you force them into a corner. You can't really stop the light cycle so doing that will probably force them to crash."

Getting in some more practice would be nice as there was still things Kel needed to figure out. If Team SARK was as merciless as Tron says they were, then he wouldn't be able to figure out what to do on the fly like he did last time. "What's wrong Aislinn?" It was clear that she wasn't okay, very clear in fact. He'd been too preoccupied with the previous race to notice anything during. If she wasn't in the right condition for the next match, then he didn't want to force his partner to partake. "Do we have to have a full team for the next match?" He asked Tron.

Luna looked over and saw the disc she had tossed away from Anora scratch Ignis' arm. "Ignis!! Are you alright??" Looking over to her teammate, Luna watched for few moments as Ignis continued to fight her opponents. She turned her head back to face Data Anora as she managed to reclaim her disc. Luna immediately started to run around Anora and aim for Eon while he was still focused on Ignis. She threw her disc at Eon and landed a hit on his back. Returning to her hand, Luna immediately turned around to see Anora throw her disc at her once more. "Again? Really now?" Luna held up her disc and blocked the incoming disc.

Tron still hadn't answered him regarding if they needed to have everyone for the while and despite how his partner was still willing to partake in the next round, Kel still didn't think it as a good idea after what he was just told. He took a moment to collect his thoughts, a bit surprsied by the fact that Aislinn had bowed her head in front of him. Something completely new to him. "I didn't know all that and you're not being insolent with this." That was something that he could say for certain among all this.

After Glen and Leo's... unique showdown, Steel saw his partner give him a nod: The signal. Raising his gun and taking aim, He delivered a quick head shot. The fake Karina fell to the ground and dissipated into pixels like it's counterpart.

"There we go, done." Steel commented to himself in a rather pleased tone as he watched... in eerie silence. Looking around, everyone seemed to be looking at him.

Everyone.

Soldiers, Ralph... even Cybugs and the Sergent herself.

"What?" A nearby Cybug moved it's appendages in a such a way as to convey a... shrug?

Suddenly and without explanation, Steel understood.

"Oh I see... so that wasn't flashy enough for you?" He held his weapon towards the crowd.

"I can show you flashy!"

The battle resumed without a single further movement from him.

Andrew watched at the mud-quicksand seemed to work. He had slowed down Aden and Gwendolyn. Now all he had to do was wait until Felix finished fixing the bulling, but it was not to be. As soon as he thought this thought a fireball went past him and knocking Aden out of the mud-quicksand. Well this kind of sucked. Then Gwendolyn was out of it too and she did not look happy about what X just did. At this point Aden and Gwendolyn standing together like they were about to work together. They said noting but that was what he got from the look they gave off. They both were closer to X and had there keyblades pointing at X. Felix was still at the windows and was still repairing them so he was not going to help he did not even know if he could fight.

This was not good. It looked like he might lose his partner. Now he had to save X. This was just turning out to be all sorts of fun. He knew that the quick sand trick was not going to work a second time. First he would have to get the two away from X. He used Aero spell on X just as Aden and Gwendolyn jummed to words X. They went flying, but did not land to far. It was time for this to end. He just saved X. He used Aqua splash then followed up with Blizzard just as Aden and Gwendolyn were getting up from there short flight. Now what he asked himself. Now all he had to do was wait to see what would happen.

Base winced at the sight of Kross knocked onto his back with Ananta's forceful punch. He felt less bad when Kross jumped back to his feet with superhuman agility and flexibility; he had a feeling this wasn't the Kross he knew. He took this as a cue to summon his Keyblade, and just in the nick of time as Flora struck only to be blocked by the returned Keyblade. He jumped back, lunged forward, and took a crack at the candied armor of his foe. He couldn't even make a dent.

"I swear, if the secret to winning this is licking away their armor, I'm quitting and never coming back this time," Base joked.'

He backed away, readied his arm for a full swing, and swept right into Kross's chest. Kross went flying farther back than he had before, but Flora took the opening. Base missed a severe haircut by a hair.

"Your turn," Base side-stepped around Flora to force the foe to choose between two targets, setting Ananta up for an opening to strike.

Ananta winced in pain as she shook her hand. Even with a little bit of metal under her gloves to guard her fingers, it still hurt to punch Kross. Though she already knew this wasn't the Kross she knew and...well...

In any case, she held her keyblade tightly and watched Base nearly get a new haircut. She decided to take the opening Base had created and swung at Flora, watching her keyblade leave only a tiny crackle in the candy armor. "Hey Base, was she your sweetheart? Because that'd make sense as to why Kross was here to me." Ananta commented, ducking below a swing from Kross as she tripped him up, causing him to fall.

So Tron wasn't able to participate not out of choice, but because Sark pretty much wasn't allowing him to. It certainly threw a wrench in finding an alternative to Aislinn participating. She however was willing to participate if she had to. Kel still didn't feel completely okay with making her do so, but it was still her choice. "Alright, just don't overdo it." Kel then materialized his light cycle and rode off to get in some practice.

Kaida ran at Cat again, to try and have her disc actually hit her this time. She'd caught the one she'd thrown before and ducked down to try and get Cat in the knee. But as soon as she tried, Cat dodged and was immediately backed up by Etrius. Kaida gritted her teeth a moment and tried to dodge out of the way before she found herself in a speed fight with Etrius. She herself was trying to get a good hit on him, while he was trying to get a good hit on her. And they just kept dodging each other and going too fast. Eventually, Kaida managed to trip Etrius and throw the disc straight at his chest. Which resulted in her getting a point.

But she'd left herself a wide opening, and found herself not only getting a disc on her back from Cat, but also a disc in from Eon. At that point Kaida rolled out of the way and angrily threw her disc one more time at Eon. Who moved to deflect it, but only deflected it into their own hand.

Kaida essentially ended up with a net gain of 0 by the end of this round and she scoffed at herself for it. ​

Ignis continued her fight against her opponents, trying to score a point while also dodging against the throws against her and her teammates. She was finding it slightly annoying to keep up with such a small weapon like the disk though. Its size is so small it's usually easier to dodge oncoming attacks, though with the things curving though the air so much it made it hard to know exactly how to dodge. She watched as Kaida had her own stroke of bad luck going against Cat and Eon.

As the two threw their disks at Kaida, Ignis took the chance to get them off guard as well. Just as Eon tossed his disk against Kaida, Ignis threw her disk as well, landing a blow against Eon. Apparently Cat didn't like that though, because she then threw her disk against Ignis. Ignis bent down just in time to dodge the disk, and as she got her disk back, she threw it against Cat as well. The timing was pure luck for her though, because As Cat put her arm out to get her disk, Ignis's scratched her arm, just like what happened to Ignis earlier. Luckily this meant Ignis had gained 2 points, but before she could be happy being in the lead, a disk flew past her shoulder, leaving a small cut. She turned around and saw Anora, who had just scored another point off Ignis.

"Okay, now I'm getting annoyed. Am I the only one who feels like their being specifically targeted by someone?" She asked the question openly and rhetorically, but she probably guessed everyone felt that way right now.

Ignoring the fact that some kind of phenomenon intervention seemed to have occurred, Steel began shooting at the Cybugs, rather than an observer that probably wasn't even present anymore. Taking aim, he carefully avoided shooting into the mouths of the Cybugs to best of his ability: Though the surrounding chaos was making it into something of a challenge.

He delivered a special head-shot to the Cybug that he was positive had been the one to shrug at him earlier in that... other... possibility. It's sharp death squeal was accompanied by a sense of satisfaction within him.

"How are you holding up?" He questioned Glen.

 

Beuce had stayed out of the direct fighting for the beginning. He hadn't met most of these people, so he was attempting to size them up while the others fought. This worked for a minute until the current reigning lead tossed her disc at him. It was a perfectly aimed shot, aimed right at the man's chest. Beuce made an attempt to deflect the oncoming projectile, but managed to fail spectacularly at doing so. He disc went straight past his defenses, slammed into his chest, and deflected back to its owner. She was now at four points, but that gave him an idea. It would only work once, and might actually end up making things harder for them, but it was a pretty good chance to close the gap. Beuce tossed the disc up in the air as if to test its weight, and found it surprisingly aerodynamic. Though, that didn't really matter right this second.

Beuce threw his disc at cat to attempt to get her off of Kaida for the moment, but the second the identity disc left his hands, he bolted across the field. No disc in hand, and running in a straight line, he made himself an incredibly easy target. Anora, Eon, and Etrius all threw their discs at him nearly simultaneously, hoping to gain a huge advantage. However, just before the discs made contact, Beuce kicked forward off the ground, performing a spin in mid air. There were two reasons for this. One was so that he could catch the disc that had come returning to him. The second, was to avoid being hit. With such a linear movement, all three of them had the aim to hit him, but light radiated from the man, and spiraled out. As it reached about a meter from him, it hardened and spun around him once, knocking aside all three discs in one fell swoop. The hard light wasn't sturdy enough to deflect a solid melee hit, but it batted aside most projectiles with ease.

Caught off guard by the unexpected block, Anora failed to catch her disc, fumbling it to the ground. Beuce hadn't quite planned for that to happen, but it was a welcome surprise. Beuce was now right on top of the girl ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). There was no rule saying that they had to throw the disc. As long as they got a hit in, it counted. Beuce raised his disc and brought it down straight through Anora's shoulder. On the way back up, he raked it across her chest. She quickly bent down to pick up her disc to defend. She thrust it forward at him directly from the ground, but he was no longer there. Only pink cherry blossoms to contrast the neon blue atmosphere floated in the air, and a third hit across her stomach. Beuce leaped back and gave one final toss of the disc at the girl's back before she realized he'd gone behind her. That was about all he was going to be able to get out of that play. He was only able to hit her so easily because she'd lost her bearings from him engaging in melee. Plus, Any longer in that situation and not only would she be able to fight back, but the others on her team would back her up, and he'd have to devote too much attention to his fight to be able to defend against them. Nevertheless, he'd managed to bash down Anora's entire lead she'd built up, and gain one himself. Now he just needed to work on keeping it.
