A heartless was producing the the microbots, that was a little bit concerning given that Hiro said that he had built them. The masked man must've been using the heartless to reproduce the ones that Hiro himself had made. He wasn't sure how many out of the mass amount of Mircorbots that was, fortunately it was something to worried about another time. "Got it."It was good to know, but there was a way to turn things around for them. They just had to hold out while the UG team dealt with the heartless making all those microbots.

The purple haired girl jumped back in the game again. It seemed never ending, but they had to get out of this somehow. The microbots formed into snakes around her, coming in on her fast. She knew she couldn't block all of them at once, and she had to do something about that.

Xara raised her keyblade in the air, it seemed right. "Stopa!"

The microbots seemed to freeze for a moment and Xara smirked. She giggled as she twirled around, flinging microbots everywhere like metal rain.

Steel was had not been very focused on the fight: He was attacking sure, but his strikes were weak. Their was simply too little force behind his blows. The crowds treatment of Quasimodo had certainly made him angry, but it had also made him sad. He couldn't help but wonder how things might have been different if it were him in the RG. Would they have dragged him into the festival? Discovered his monstrous appearance before the poor bell ringers?

Could he have save Quasimodo from this?

The answer would have to be no of course.

Or at least, in a good 85% of timelines: time did so love it's little set pathways. Even if they had, he could very well have made things worse. Sure, Quasimodo was 'ugly' but he was still pretty darn human. Him though? They would probably think he was some kind of demon, and Frollo's influence wouldn't help. if Quasimodo had been discovered after him, well... the consequences could be disastrous.

A moment of clarity burst through the haze of his mind, and he managed to just dodge an enemy attack. Now that he was back in the present, his rage came back to him. The self righteous cruelty of the masses fueling his own self-hatred, and only provoking him further. He may have faced his inner demons, but the truth of the matter was that such a confrontation was never ending, and while the consequences of his action had curbed his blood lust and taught him restraint, he had never doubted for a moment that the rage he had locked away for so long was still there; pulsing in his ever unearthly eyeball.

The crowds inconsiderate torment of Quasimodo was infuriating.

"Just stop..." he muttered. Briefly noting that Stratos had dealt with most of the horde all by himself. "Stop... just..." Stop.

Stop...

"Staphma!" He practically roared the strange word, causing multiple bolts of lightning to crash down and evaporate multiple foes.

After that, he turned back to his thoughts, and was lost in them once more.

Ananta finally jumped up and helped cover the other side that Aislinn was unable to protect. She looked around and blocked as many vegetables and eggs that she could, but of course she was dirtied by just as many. She looked back at Quasimodo, who was just staring confusedly at them and still trying not to get hit himself. Ananta looked into the crowd to see Luna. "Aw, no!" she muttered.

"Luna, please, stop!" she called. Aislinn and her both were telling her to stop, but she didn't know if Luna would really stop. "Aislinn, we better focus on these tomatos for now....Luna can handle the crowd." she said.

Xara's spell suddenly ran out, and the microbots rushed to her like a storm. Soon she was overwhelmed and was lifted up into the air by her ankles by the microbots.

"Hey!" Another swarm grabbed at her keyblade, trying to yank it out of her hands. She held on tight, despite the pain, only to realize she could summon it back later. Tired fingers finally let go, and the key vanished from the air. Before she could summon it back, she was tossed towards a pile of wooden boxes. She felt her heart catch in her throat and instinctively put her arms up to protect herself as she prepared for impact.

Knocking away another wave of Microbots, Kel had a quick look around to get a general idea on the current situation at hand. AJ seemed to be doing well on his own, Gwen was still no where to be found and as for Xara. She appeared to be having the worst luck out of the three of them. He had just seen her be be both picked up by the microbots that had swarmed her and tossed aside towards a pile of boxes. Right now Kel was the closest person to her and had the best chance at getting to her before the impact against the wooden crates. Kel moved as fast as his legs would take him and placed himself right in the path of the flying girl, with an added measure of gravity to keep himself anchored to the ground upon catching Xara. It was a good thing that he had done so, otherwise he might've gone flying back into the crates himself while holding her. "Gotcha." Kel then gently placed her back onto the ground.

A hero swooped in to save the day, and it was none other than Kel. "Thanks!" She said to him as she set down on the ground. "I don't think the Kabuki Guy liked my exploding lights or that spell thing. Heads up!"

Xara stepped in as another whisp of microbots swooped in out of nowhere, almost crashing down on the pair. It was stopped by a block and a slash of Xara's keyblade. "Okay, right, anyone in the UG taking care of that Heartless that's causing all of this mess?! We can't even get close to the Kabuki Guy!"

"Working on it!" Glen called out in response to his partner, maneuvering his keyblade glider to the right to avoid another swarm of microbots that emerged from the heartless. His attacks weren't having as much of an impact as he'd like, simply striking the thing wasn't accomplishing anything quickly. Glancing towards the others for a brief moment, he raised his altitude. "Kaida, Ignis, Hikaru, I could use a hand here! If we stop this, we stop the guy in the mask, but I can't do it on my own!" he shouted, shortly before a mechanical fist hit him off his glider and down towards the sea of microbots. Down he went, flailing his arms as though he could flap them like wings and soar, but just as he was about to meet his demise, he summoned the keyblade glider and took off once more, flying up into the sky.

It was at that moment he had an idea. Flying straight up into the sky, Glen began storing energy within his keyblade, causing it to emerge in physical form as a great ball of fire underneath the glider. Once that was done, he flew over the top of the mechanical monster and leaped off of his glider once more, summoning it as his keyblade and hurtling towards the heartless at breakneck speed with the fireball at the end of his it. Using the momentum, he slammed straight into the heartless with his Trip Around the Sun, causing a mighty explosion that knocked him away from the heartless and stopped it from spawning microbots for about seven seconds.

A little groggy, the keyblade wielder stood up where he had been hit to. He seemed to be in the remains of a crate, shattered from the impact. Well, at least it had cushioned the blow, if a solid, not soft object could be called a cushion. He looked over towards the RG group, desperately fighting off the microbot horde. At this rate, they were going to lose the fight. Had they really gone through their trials and defeated Mizrabel just to fall here? Glen's usual cocky grin faded at the thought and turned into one of complete seriousness. No, no we didn't he thought. All thoughts of everything else vanished as the young keyslinger looked directly at the heartless he had to take down. Without a word, he took off on his glider, more determined and driven to defeat this opponent than ever before.

At this point Andrew just kept on running in random directions. He just kept on trying to find a way to attack the asked man from above. So far he did not see a way to even get above the man. It was not like he could fly, or could he? The keyblades seemed to respond to thoughts of the user so it was not out of the question that the keyblade could make him fly. The keyblade had to have some sort of limit to it. He turned to Xara who said, 'Glen said that there's a giant Heartless making the endless supply of these microbots behind the creepy mask dude in UG. Glen's gonna try to take it out!' "Well that would explain how there seems to be a endless amount of these things." Xara was then able to freeze the Microbots. That was when he could see Ignis saying something about being right back. It did not seem that she had an ideas at the moment. He looked back to the others and it seemed that unfortunately Xara's stop spell stoped working at the wrong time. He was not in a good position to help the others at the moment. He did not know what to do. The only thing that he could do was use the keyblade, but so far it seemed to have a mind of its own. He tried to summon his keyblade standing still for a moment when out of nowhere a wave of microbots hit him hard. This caused him to fall from where he was to the ground.

The next wave of Microbots that had sent at him had been fended off successfully before any more potential harm could be done by them. "Don't think he likes the fact that we're here to begin with." Still that wouldn't change much regarding their efforts in trying to stop him, which knowing that there was a heartless producing the microbots that they were using. One window of opportunity would be nice to, especially if they could figure out how to get closer to him.

Hikaru's plan would've likely worked well, however Glen didn't pay attention to the words that were spoken. His mind was focused solely on the heartless before him and nothing else. Victory was the only thing spurring him onwards, the strength to do what he had to do his goal.As Glen got nearer to the enemy, a mechanical fist came right at him. Seemingly effortlessly, Glen moved his keyblade glider out of the way, but his opponent had planned for that; a huge surge of microbots were already flying at him, practically on top of him already. He wasn't going to be taken out that easily though, not by a long shot. With inhuman agility, the boy ducked underneath the first burst of robots, before leaping up and avoiding the second one, landing once again on his glider as he charged forward.

Nearing his target, he came to a stop before it and launched towards it, slashing it with his keyblade as he passed the face. Continuing through the air, the keyslinger descended onto the arm that had struck out at him. Racing along it at a much faster pace than usual, he took another swing at the arm he was running along, before he leaped up and onto the very top of it. A flash of light occurred as he changed into his ninja attire and gripped his personal keyblade, Last Legacy. He then proceeded to repeatedly attack the top of the heartless more aggressively and savagely than he had before, each strike surprisingly fast and hitting hard. Finally, he was making a dent in this thing.

By this point Ignis had done nearly nothing while Hikaru had learned what it was like to be knocked around like a plaything, and Glen was, well, being a berserker from the looks of it. She wasn't sure if it was such a good idea for him to go on top of the thing and smash away like a madman, since that thing was making microbots every second, and those things could easily attack him. Since that was the case, Ignis tried to think of a way that she might be able to deal with the thing, or at least get it off balance. Then she came up with an idea. And idea that probably wouldn't even work, but it was better than nothing.

She started a charge toward the heartless and was attacked by microbots. The things came at her like spears, but just because they were big and strong all together, that didn't mean they were unbreakable. She brought her keyblade forward and slashed at the microbots and tore apart the spear-like edges, then continued on as she neared the heartless. Glen was busy up on top chipping away, so she would hit its bottom. With that in mind, Ignis took a leap off the docks and landed right near the thing's legs. Given that she was standing right on a giant mountain of microbots, it probably wasn't a good idea to stay there, so she took a slash at the legs to try and bring it down.

Unfortunately, the attack didn't seem to do much, as there were no marks left from her attack. She wasn't going to try and hack away at it, so instead she swung her keyblade like a bat, hit one of its legs, and forced the leg to bend and caused the heartless to fall down on a knee.

Xara felt as if her ice magic would be kinda weak right now. The stop spell seemed to work, but using magic felt a little weird. She continued to fight the microbots, doing what she could to avoid being hit hard again and be taken off guard.

Throughout this cycle of dodging and fighting back microbots, they've yet to make any progress towards actually hitting the masked guy. Another wave of microbots was sent towards him and Kel managed to avoid them before any damage could've been done to him. Another set had flown towards him and it was stopped by a quick burst of fire magic from him. It may not had been much, but it was enough to disrupt the chain of microbots and give him enough time to move out of the way once more.

Kaida had also done... not pretty much nothing. She had done nothing. Theoretically she should have done something by this point but perhaps it was due to the incompetence of the player. No matter. Kaida heard Hikaru's suggestion and thought about it for only a moment before saying, "Maybe. Trying it couldn't hurt, right?" especially since Hikaru seemed fairly certain. Kaida summoned on out Whittling Promises and pointed it and aimed it the best she could towards one of the cogs, seeming in pretty deep focus about it. She yelled out to Kel, "Hey, Kel. Just so ya know, I'm using blizzard on this big heartless cog making thing. If you need it later, I'm sorry." and she looked back at the cog and shouted, "Blizzard!"

Once it hit the cog, she charged at it directly and joined in on the assault. In her preferred form of helping out. Hacking and slashing as fast as she could, hoping she was cutting off quite a bit of damage. Unbeknownst to her, Kel probably thought she was a crazy woman. Maybe not. But she didn't care because this thing was a tad more important.

Kel had been caught off guard by two separate things in a short amount of time, the first of which being Kaida saying something to him. Due to being primarily focused on avoiding being hit by the vast amount of microbots, he'd effective forgotten about his partner. The next thing was seeing what Kaida was fighting or rather not seeing it. From his perspective she was just fighting the air.

When the initial shock of seeing her fight the air had passed, he recalled that there was a heartless in the UG according to Glen, which was according to what Xara had told them. An odd time for him to forget that pretty important detail, but his mind has been focused on other things for the most part.

Andrew opened his eyes from being knocked over. Things did not seem to be going that well well. He stood up not sure what was going on. The microbots seemed to be slowing down but that did not mean anything. He had to find a way to help the other but he did not see how. I need my keyblade, he thought. The keyblade appeared in his hand. This time it showed up faster than the first time he used it. Now all he had to do was use it to help the others. Help the others, he thought. The keyblade glowed a blue color before shooting off some wind straight at Xara and Kel. He was not sure how that was going to help but the moments later a wind surround the two. The microbots that seemed to reach the two seemed to be bounce off the wind wall and get thrown back in a random direction. He did not know how long the wind magic would work so now would be a good time to act. Water he remembered. He wanted to use water on the microbots but had forgotten about it until this moment. He wondered if the keyblade could make water well only one way to find out. "Time to get wet." Water, he thought. At first nothing happened then the keyblade glowed and it stated to rain on top of the masked man. He was not sure if that was going to be helpful or not. He had to make his way back to Hiro and the others.


He stared running towards the others. The microbots seemed to be frozen in time for now. He did not know how long that would last so it was best to take the opportunity to do something. This microbot thing could go on forever from what he could tell. The water could help the microbots freeze when some used ice magic on them. He wondered how long this battle may last. He continued running towards the others.
