Kaida watched the castle disappear as Mizrabel was defeated. She felt this special kind of relief as the battle was over, and she looked over at everyone to make sure they was okay. Especially D'daear who ended up being the unfortunate victim when it came to getting hit and not being able to get out of the chest. But when she looked for D'daear, she couldn't find him. She looked around a little in panic, since she couldn't believe someone just up and vanished like that and she asked, "D-D'daear? Where did you go?"

She suddenly heard Dreamer's voice and looked slightly surprised as she unsummoned away her keyblade and turned towards Dreamer. When Dreamer asked if Mizrabel was defeated, Kaida nodded and said, "Yes. She's gone... wasn't exactly a breeze th-" Kaida cut off when she saw Yue and Lea and she said, "Yue, Lea? What are you doing here?" especially considering the fact that she hadn't seen then from Central Haven, so she thought maybe the bad guys had gotten them.​

Xara blinked when the whole freaking castle disappeared after the witch was defeated. "Whoa..." She saw the girl in the orb be released and seemed to be fine... ish? And then this Dreamer guy asked a very important question with yet and obvious answer.

"Uh...." Xara waved around her where the castle was. "I guess the screaming with a whole fortress disappearing and a weird light show happening means that this witch has been defeated... at least I believe so." Xara scratched her head as she still held her keyblade in one hand. "Does this kind of stuff happen all the time? Wait, and what do you mean by "absence"? How long were we gone?"

 

Looking back toward the castle, Luna saw the castle disappear along with Mizrabell. Breathing a sigh of relief, Luna turned to Kaida as she called out to D'daear. Looking around, Luna looked for D'daear but was nowhere to be seen. The corners of her lips turned down as she began to frown. Still thinking about people being missing, Luna looked around for another person. "Karina!?!? Karina!?!?" She looked around for Karina until her eyes fell upon her just up ahead. "Karina!!!" Luna sprinted over to her as Karina opened her eyes. Luna slid on her knees and slid over to Karina. "Are you alright!?!? Are you hurt!?!?" Luna began asking Karina, making sure if she was alright, with worry being written across her face.

 

Ananta watched Mizrabel write and start to shine brilliantly. Shielding her eyes and turning away from the sudden explosion, Ananta opened them again to see everyone standing around and Karina floating down. She heard Kaida speak to Yue and Lea, but currently, Ananta was more concerned with Karina and how lost she looked. Whether or not she was overbearing at the moment, Ananta just wanted to make sure she was okay after disappearing for that entire battle.

She saw Luna make it over first and she just walked quickly over herself. "Are you okay?" Ananta asked, looking at Karina. "You disappeared for that whole battle and..." she took a deep breath and sighed happily. "I was so worried." she smiled.

The battle against Mizrabel had finally come to a close and the castle that surrounded them came down to the ground and vanished. "Finally." Was the first thing that Kel said before stretching out his limbs to take card of any cramps that might have remained due to being crammed into a chest all those times. He gave Aislinn a quick thumbs up in response to her question. Once the castle had fully removed itself from their sight, Dreamer was seen standing waiting for him along with two others. "The witch is defeated alright, but what exactly happened while we were gone?"

 

Who the hell did this chick think she was? Some slack was the last thing they needed? Beuce, clearly quite upset with Yue, walked up with a sour expression on his face. "Excuse me but, I have a question. Did everyone in the order just take turns systematically pissing in your cheerios before the fall happened or what? Some slack is the last thing we need? What exactly do you think we've just had happen to us? I'll tell you what. It started hitting the fan when we fought off a literal army of heartless defending YOUR BASE. Which, by the by, we had nothing to do with. I lost my arm in the fight, and you know what i did? I walked it off." Beuce continued to rant about what a ***** she was being. "Next, we find the person who had been giving us some kind of direction turned himself to stone to prevent knowledge slipping out. Then went on a wild goose chase through some kind of illusory world to find a mouse, and got sucked into a book, almost killed, fought a second army, then defeated another member of the hellfire club. This one had a keyblade. Finally, when we manage to break free, Some witch robs us of our keyblades, strength, skills, everything. We get our asses handed to us by Aux and are thrown into a hellscape of darkness. But did we take it lying down? No. We got back up. We came here, went through our homeworlds, won back our power, and took out the witch that took it. So I'll be damned if after all that, some skank that thinks she's all that because she's a member of the order is going to walk in here and tell me I didn't do good enough because it took all of us to take down Mizrabel." Beuce glared at the woman, obviously less than pleased at her treatment of them. ​

Kaida kind of froze up at Yue's words and felt a lot of anger based on the fact she felt like she was being talked down to again. But she knew, out of all the things right then, they didn't need her screaming. Kaida tightened her fist before straightening out and looking Yue directly in the eyes attempting to be as assertive as possible, but as soon as she opened her mouth, a wild Beuce appeared and completely threw off her momentum. He was not having this at all, and Kaida listened as her hands moved in front of her mouth, literally to keep herself from containing the smile on her face hearing someone yell at Yue. After Beuce was done, Kaida uncovered her mouth, clearly struggling to keep a straight face, and she placed a hand on Beuce's shoulder, "Wow Beuce, you've got more of a temper than me over this. Do you um, do you need to like... walk away and cool off?"

She then looked at Yue and said, "Uh, did you...get all that. He basically described exactly what happened. If you want every last detail, it'd be quite a long time to explain it... I think it'd take like, 100 to 200 pages of words to detail everything, but bare bones... Beuce got it all."

 

Standing back, Glen listened to what Beuce was saying. The guy raised a valid point, and as much as Glen wanted to yell at this newcomer and vent out some of the frustration that he himself was feeling, Beuce had pretty much covered it all. Kaida pretty much verified what he'd said, so maybe this hoe would actually listen. So far there had been very few members of the order he disliked, but in an instant this woman had made it to the top of that list.

"We'll be fine when Vanitas shows himself again. We're a lot stronger than we were before, he won't know what hit him next time" Glen said somewhat confidently, although his usual cheery tone of voice wasn't there. Rather, he had a very monotone, serious tone.​

Kaida stepped back upon those last words and said, "The... the mark of mastery?" Kaida looked very thrown off by that and crossed her arms and said, "I mean... are you sure? I know we've gone through a lot more after this but..." Kaida stopped herself from continuing and she looked away saying, "Is it the same structure as in Central Haven? I-I mean, I know it'd be kind of difficult to put it exactly like that but.... how would it... how would we...." she uncrossed her arms and asked pained, "Do you think we're ready to become masters?" Kaida certainly did not, especially after that whole thing with Aux. And she just got knocked out who knows how many times against Mizrabel. Even with the homeworlds and the keyblades back, Kaida felt like she was almost back at square one. And considering she took the Mark of Mastery two times previously, she didn't like her chances.

 

"Relax, Kaida. You'll be fine. You're one of the best keyblade wielders I've ever seen, mark of mastery's not going to be a problem" Glen reassured, giving his friend a pat on the back. The Mark of Mastery, now there was something he hadn't heard mentioned in a long time. His father had never officially been called a keyblade master as far as he knew, and if he had he certainly hadn't talked about it a lot. Finding out something about the keyblade he barely knew about was a rarity, but that only made him more interested.​

 

The next sequence of events was an interesting one to say the least. They hand gottened chewed out by one of the order members, who was later chewed out by Beuce in an admittedly funny to listen to from where he was standing. The snickering as a result ceased just in time to hear something about a Mark of Mastery.

The pin that Kaida was given had really caught his attention. "Reaper's Game?" It sounded cool, not at all what he thought it would be named, but cool sounding nonetheless.

Kaida had wanted to explain to Glen how she had failed the Mark of Mastery twice prior, and while his comments made her feel better about it, she still didn't exactly have the confidence to carry her through. So instead of responding, since Yue started right afterwards anyhow, she decided to just listen to her explain it. The blonde caught the pin and looked over the skull and said softly to herself, "Interesting pin... though, a name like Reaper's Game sounds like it could go horribly wrong..." though, maybe this would give her the chance at finally passing the Mark of Mastery, after all this was put into practical use rather than just being in a stadium with an audience. She was a little worried about the whole 'dangerous and immoral' thing. Kaida glanced over and figured the others were gonna wanna look at the pin so she held it up easier for them to see it if they were curious.

Xara was utterly dumbfounded as so much dialogue was happening. Most of it went over her head, but the tween tried to take in as much as possible. It seemed like they had beef with this Yue chick, but the Lea guy seemed to keep the peace between everyone.

One question was eating her though, and she had to say it. She knew this wasn't about her, but she had to know. Everyone had been through so much. And her?

"E-Excuse me," she started with a quiet voice, raising her hand. "I kinda got placed in the Relam of Darkness for the majority of the events..." She swallowed, feeling uncomfortable to speak to the Dreamer as well as Yue-chick. Yue seemed unforgiving and super annoyed with everything and everyone.

Xara sighed and decided to spit it out. "So, am I still qualified for this Mark of Mastery exam even though I don't have the experience like everyone else?" She kicked the ground below her while placing her hands behind her back. "Is this Reaper's Game the only way out of this place?"
