Video Game: Kingdom Hearts SOS: The Road To Light

Ananta jumped back to only find herself falling into a chest. "Oh great." she grumbled, struggling a little. She accepted her fate soon enough and waited her turn to be freed. Finally, she heard a knock on the wood and popped out, taking Stratos' hand and stepping out. "Thanks Stratos." she said, wiping herself a moment to see if there were any chests near her. Of course there was a chest. She KNEW there was a chest. She watched Kel get sucked up, so she moved over and kicked at his chest and freed him,

This was getting more and more annoying with each passing second they spent fighting Mizrabel. Being forced into a chest was annoying, but luckily it was a short time spent for he was ejected from it. The sole difference this time was that he felt like he could actually do something else other than attack, not help in way of making this fight easier, but help in the way of help someone who was currently dead on the ground. Green light started to radiate of his keyblade and towards Kaida.

Kaida was not feeling too good. Considering she got knocked out and then locked in a chest, the heal was definitely appreciated. She got up and reconfigured herself before noticing Mizrabel looked ready to attack again, so Kaida decided to get a little bit of damage in while she could. She charged up a spell at the witch and fired it at her, hoping it would do a little damage.

Celio dreams were full of light-green skies during a rising sun as he laid in a peaceful meadow. The wind picked up, making his hair dance. He turned his head to look at the sun. It was a light orange; Celio almost thought it was smiling on him as it laid it a blanket of warmth upon his skin. And then a thicker blanket of heat. And then a heavier layer. And now his skin was on fire. The sun turned a hellish red as it shot straight to the center of the sky, screaming in agony as Celio burned.

"Agh!" Then he woke, hacking and sweating as he rolled to his knees. He was surrounded by light and seeing...flowers? An aura of cool calm quickly alleviated his pain and panic. So that's what it was liked to be knocked unconscious. The last he remembered, the cloaked woman had used some sort of magic against all of the giant key wielders. So...giant key wielders = good and cloaked woman = evil (that would explain the maniacal laugh). So the magic knocked him out and someone else's magic had healed him. Celio turned to see who had done it and nodded. "...Thanks. Celio, by the way. I mean...that's me, my name." He shrugged.

"Wait, magic!" Celio knew magic now! He had used some against the living shadows! He looked at the woman and raised his Heavenly Ascension (the name which he gave his weapon) to cast magic. As he readied his weapon, he noticed some of his...comrades....were locked away in chests again. Deciding against his initial plan, Celio aimed his key at the locked chest nearest him. A beam of light opened the chest, releasing its prisoner. Celio forced a smile at him. "Strength in numbers, right?"

"Ow, ow, ow," Xara muttered under her breath as she stumbled back from the attack. She was finally hit, and boy did it stung. She felt whatever was blocking her earlier from helping others was gone. On instinct, she raised her keyblade and cast a green light over the girl she didn't know, but looked like she needed some help.

Kaida was a little embarrassed by how quickly she went down, and the pain sure didn't help but she was gonna tucker through it. She decided this time it was probably better to open up the chests, since not doing it last time was a stupid choice. Kaida ran over to the chest and opened it up so Ignis was out again and chuckled nervously and said, "H-hey, you're free! Um, sorry that took so long..."

Okay, that hurt a little bit. But not as bad as she was expecting, honestly. "Okay, now..." she coughed a little, getting back up. Ananta glared forward at Mizrabel. She then ran forward, swinging her keyblade hard. She aimed at Mizrabel's hat, hating how stupid it looked.

Gwendolyn winced at the attack that spread to the others, but still, she couldn't help but be relieved that it had missed her. Also, it seemed to have missed that poor unlucky bastard on her right. Good for him.

Might as well keep going.

It had taken some time, but Kel was now understanding just how it was that Stratos was taken down back to back by Mizrabel. Those rings of whatever it was that she was throwing at them hurt like hell. The initial blow had knocked him off balanced, but it was regained soon after. Now it was his turn for retaliation against the witch and that's precisely what he did.

Ignis had been trapped inside a chest again with nothing to do. It seemed like she had to wait longer this time to get out, but luckily, it was Kaida to the rescue again. She apologized for taking longer this time, but Ignis didn't care at this point. She figured it was going to be a regular thing, and she might as well do what she can now at this point. She ran over to the chest containing Hikaru again, then opening it up.

Andrew stood there a moment after opening the chest. Now it was time to attack. He then was watching this whole fight unfold. To say he was unhappy was an understatement. He did not like this situation at all. He was better off home. This situation was not any better then something he had to deal with at home. The only difference was that at home he had an idea what to say and do. Here he had no clue what he was doing. He had somehow got a keyblade. The keyblade was powered by thoughts and there was some kind of magic. It was all rather confusing. He just have to think something and it would work or was it something else altogether? Then there was the woman that entered the castle. Why was this woman even attacking the people in the castle? Better yet it would have better for her to just ask them to leave.

He watched the battle continue and watched a boy with a keyblade with a blue end and a red one attack the woman instead of opening a chest. He boy completely ignored the chest right by him. What happened to power in numbers? The boy was not thinking as he seemed to only want to attack the woman and not help the people around him. He let out a sigh. Well attacking the woman was out the window. He guessed that he would have to help these people because it was clear that they did not want to help each other. He felt right at home for a moment. People were not helping each other out. It was left to him to help the people around him. He had to help these people just like the people at home because no one else would do it. It was always him at home helping everyone. He did not know why he thought this place would be any different. It was not any different. When he got here he saw some sort of hope that these people would be different. In the end these people were showing their true colors. Still some of them seemed to have a heart while others he could not say. Open he thought.

This time the light was a mix of green and red. He wondered what that was all about. The same boy as before was in the chest. He looked at Glen like he was going to say something. He then decided not to say anything. Only give advice when asked he thought to himself. "You are free." He gave the boy a smile and walked away from him. He was not sure what he would do now. He felt like he was not doing much to help these people. It seemed all he was good for was to open a box. He slightly wondered if that was his purpose. He got a keyblade to open locks. Yea! Well time to move on he looked to the people around him and one boy whose name was Stratos seemed to be important for some reason as the boy had gone down many times. He felt sorry for the boy.

After being released once more, Glen realised just how sick of being shoved into chests he was getting. While it seemed to be safer inside of them, everytime he came out of one everyone else seemed to be just a little more tired and injured. How was he meant to help them when he kept getting turned into a god damn treasure chest? Taking out his frustration, he shot forward and attacked Mizrabel with his keyblade in full force before pulling back and preparing to attempt to dodge whatever came his way.

Right, so... their magic was back. That was good and all... but other than cure, he didn't really see much of an improvement in their situation. What few... no, the one spell that had been launched seemed to only do about as well as their physical attacks. Should they try multiple elements to find a weakness? Probably not: if they really wanted to find something of that effect, they'd likely be better of summoning Basil. In terms of what he should do now though... he had a feeling his standard strategy of using 'Stop' wasn't likely to work. With the situation being what it was, risking it right now probably wasn't a very bright idea. So... instead he just charged in with his pointy metal thing.

They were starting to get somewhere now that most people were up and out of their chest once again. It seemed like everyone else was going pretty well on the offensive, and most people were getting healed, so he decided to mend his wounds so that he could join in the assault shortly after. He wasn't sure he could take another hit otherwise.

The healing that he had gotten did serve it's purpose in keeping him up just in time for another attack from Mizrabel. Whatever luck that was keeping her from attacking him had apparently worn off and Kel was already feeling the effects of her magic rings. This fight couldn't go on forever, there had to be some sort of tipping point that would turn things hopefully in their favor and therefore, he attacked the witch again with his keyblade.
