Video Game: Kingdom Hearts SOS: The Road To Light

D'daear hadn't even laid a finger on the witch and yet she had the audacity to strike him like some common enemy!! The nerve of some villians. D'daear stood his ground, but not without feeling the pain from Mizrabel's attack. Doing his best with what he could, he shook off the pain knowing full well that he wasn't the only one having taken a hit. Mizrabel being the miserable witch that she was assaulted them once more, and this time hitting hard as usual. The fray was too much and his eyes couldn't pay close attention to the details, but it was obvious some of his teammates had taken a rather hard hit. At this point it was a race to take out the hag before they were all thwarted. D'daear darted to the large squad of keywielding allies that were assaulting the big bad witch, and made a jump into the air; swinging his keyblade down hard with one arm.

Andrew still with keyblade in hand did not receive answers from Chicken Little. He guessed that he might be able to get the answers at another time. Looking around he saw that people were dropping like flies. He wanted to do something but he thought better of it. It was now time to act. It was time to help these people. Pointing his keyblade at the women. He let out small smile. How dare this woman hurt the people around him? He felt a power that was unknown to him. He felt powerful. This woman was going down. He ran up to the woman and gave her a good wack onto the head. Jumping off of her and back onto the ground. The attack seemed to do something.

A.J. attacked and dealt 50 Damage

The steady progress that they were making against Mizrabel had continued without too much hindrance from some people being knocked down...and then she'd managed to take down some more people with her attacks. There wasn't much that Kel was able to do in way of helping them up, but what he could was to keep attacking until she eventually went down. With his keyblade reappearing in his hand, he again threw it towards Mizrabel.

Kel dealt 29 damage

Ignis winced from being hit by the attack. She had her guard up when it connected, but that didn't stop it from pushing her back. Strangely enough those rings hit harder than she thought. She needed to be careful. Taking her chance after the attack, Ignis attacked Mizrabl again with her keyblade then backed off for someone else to throw a hit in.

Ignis dealt 27 damage

 

After striking Misrabel again, she retaliated at the boy with another magical ring, striking him hard again. Being brought down by the attack again, Stratos fell unconcious, only to swiftly be brought back awake as he let out a pained, "thank you," in the direction of the person who had cured him. Another new person. These guys were alright. Getting back to his feet, starting to wonder if this would just be a constant thing, Stratos grabbed his keyblade and attacked Misrabel again.

Stratos attacked for 29 Damage.

 

Beuce winced as he was hit by the magical ring. He could see why those things took Stratos out so quickly. He wasn't sure he could take another one himself. They needed to take her out as quickly as they could. So, with that, he ran up to the witch and let loose a flurry of blow. but with a weapon. not like the monk ability.

Beuce dealt 29 damage

 

As the witch released another blast of magical energy, Glen prepared to attempt to dodge the attack, however the magic was not directed at him, but some of the others. Poor Stratos had taken yet another hit and gone down, and many of them were feeling the effects of the battle. Given Mizrabel didn't seem to be paying attention to him, the opportunity was presented and Glen took it, lunging forward with his keyblade and striking the witch fair in the back.

Glen attacked, for 28 damage!

Well this was getting rather frustrating. More and more people were dropping like flies each time they attacked. She wanted to help them, she really did, but she felt something locked inside of her. As long as she could still fight though, she was going to give it everything she got. This enemy, who ever she was, she wasn't going to go down easy. She ran to the target again, landing another hit and then backed off. All they could really do was attack, block best they could, and keep going at it until something else happened.

Xara dealt 25 Damage.

Luna attacked Mizrabell!

Well that was lame. She'd healed that dude, only for him to go right back down. Gwendolyn felt for the guy, really she did, but she had enough tactical knowledge to know that just repeatedly healing would not win them the fight. And besides, it looked as though someone else had already handled it. Time to jump back into the fray.

Gwendolyn did 25 Damage to Mizrabel

 

Readying Artisian Shard for another attack, Steel noticed that one of the newer members, a boy with blonde hair, had performed a unique summon. With the way things were going, and any form of assistance. However, while a summon could help turn the tables only time would tell if it would be enough to give them an advantage... or even just some breathing room.

He sped back in for another slice at Mizrabel.

Steel attacked for 28 points of damage!

 

Ananta looked at the people curing the injured and she sighed in relief. "Well at least Stratos is ba-" she said this and watched Mizrabel slap Stratos like the boy he is. "OH COME ON!" she yelled, grumbling in frustration and rushing at Mizrabel.

Ananta slapped Mizrabel with her keyblade!

After his attack he seemed to be happy with himself. The woman then used some sort of magic and everyone was forced back into chest. Not knowing what chest was what He walking up to a random chest. He aimed his keyblade at one of the chest.. Open he thought. A light shot out and to his surprise the chest opened up. He slightly wondered if the keyblade its self responded with thoughts of the user. He looked at the chest and standing there was Xara.

Xara was freed

Xara couldn't help but to shudder when she heard the old hag's words. Creepy! She couldn't wait to kick this witch down for good. But things would flip once more.

One minute, everyone was fighting. The next minute, she was locked back in the chest. "Ugh! How annoying!" She pushed against the lid, only to not feel it budge. She heard her lock click, and she was freed once more. "Thanks again!" She shouted to the blond hair boy. She then raced over to the chest that was closet to her once more and tapped the top of it with her keyblade, freeing the girl she didn't know once more.

Xara freed Luna!

 

Luna fell flat on her face the second she was freed. She didn't know why, it wasn't like this was in character to her at all, but she didn't really feel like trying for some reason. If this was some sort of music game or a video game, maybe a little more effort would be put in but nah. Luna realized she should probably do something though, the teammates could only nag her in the meta. But as long as she did something, she had nothing to fear! She walked over to Steel's chest and freed him again, as was necessary to continue on.

He was in a box again. How delightful.

So while waiting for someone to come along and open up the way out, Steel decided to kick back with a cup cappuccino and watch the... weird... space stuff... happen.

Surprisingly, it wasn't all that long before someone came along and let him out again. It was okay though, because his cappuccino had been a small, so he was done with it.

"Greetings and salutations your highness." Steel said in the same empty tone he had greeted her with previously. "We really must stop meeting like this." He crushed the paper cup in his hands, raising an eyebrow when the cup caught fire. Seeing as how his instinct when he was done with something was to burn it...

"Right, magic is back."

Seeing that one of the newer individuals was knocked out, Steel sent a quick cure spell over to him; he would have done more if he could, but in terms of curative magic, he was rather lacking in comparison to some of the others. Still: at least they no longer had to deal with the 'limited healing' problem.

Steel cast Cure on Celio!

"What. What the fuck. What the actual frick-fracking fuck."

Did she say this fight was eight shades of bullshit earlier? She meant eighty shades. Eighty shades of pure, unglorified bullshit. Welp, here we go again. The guy on her one side had already been freed, so she might as well go for the other guy who seemed to have to worst luck in the world.

Gwendolyn freed Stratos

 

He had been locked into a box. He had been freed. He had been attacked, and attacked and went down. He had been cured. He had been knocked back down. He had been brought back up. He had been locked again. Upon the lock breaking and his body being ejected from the chest that he had been cramped into, Stratos's expression was one of irritation more than anything else saying, "dealing with emotional turmoil isn't as mentally taxing as this." Giving a thumbs up back to the girl who had freed him, again, Stratos looked to his right to see a row of chests, and no people standing about them. Letting out a sigh, he struck the chest next to him in order to keep things moving.
