Kaida summoned the mayflowers by using April Showers.

 

Now that they'd been given a brief moment of respite to set up their next assault, Beuce began to concentrate. The space around his target classily began to distort from his vision, as though all the most vital weak points were blatantly pointed out and more vulnerable than ever.

Stratos, somewhat confused that he wasn't getting hit by the dark rat's metal pipe attacks, just decided to use cure on Kaida because she was looking a bit unhealthy.

 

Raisor watched from afar as the Shadow Blot began to scream and whail at its inevitable defeat. Ice began to spread across its body until eventually the whole being was a giant ice sculpture. Just as soon as the freezing had stopped, light began to shine through cracks in the ice, and the Shadow Blot was gone, with only a million shards of ice falling around them. At the same time, Raisor felt lighter himself and noticed something was off about himself physcially, like a giant chain was wrapped around him, restricting him, suffocating him, and finally fell off.

"Huh, so that's what it feels like. Guess they were right when they said I'd notice the difference. Still," he took aim at Mortimer Mouse, "I've got another fight to help out with."

He fired a shot at the mouse, causing an explosion at the enemy's feet.

 

The battle against the shadow blot had finally come to an end and bluntly put, Kel was exhausted. From continually attacking to somehow managing to dodge to having to deal with some injuries during the fight, all of which combined had left him in an pretty exhausted state. Unfortunately there was still work for them to do. The others could likely use some help in dealing with Mortimer, who had somehow managed to piss Karina off. It was a good thing that he wasn't within her field of view, otherwise who knows what she'd do. Speaking of which, since they couldn't actually go there and assist in the fight, firing a barrage of cannon shots would have to do. Therefore Kel started to head over there shortly after Karina silently took off. Not before calling out to the others "Look's like there's something else we have to do before we're done with this place."

 

Raisor fired another shot at Mortimer Mouse.

 

Having made his way over to a available cannon, Kel got on it and aimed in it in the direction that Mortimer was in. Once the cannon was locked on to the target, he started to fire at the keyblade wielding mouse.

As the magical barrier subsided, Glen made his move. He didn't attack, he didn't run at Mortimer, instead he waved his arms as though he were conducting the onslaught of thousands of cannonballs and as he did so, thirty magical instruments of the writer's choosing appeared on the ground in front of him. This was his Symphonia limit, the most musical attack he had in his arsenal.

Immediately he went for the instrument of his desire. There were empty bottles of alcohol, each his favourite brand and roughly around half full (though each one had varying amounts of alcohol within), and a single spoon next to them. He walked over, ignoring the chaotic bombardment as he did so, and began the most epic recital anyone had ever heard on those glass bottles.

Kaida figured she needed to jump in and help with the symphony so she made it over to her first instrument: the saxophone. Kaida started pressing down on the keys to whatever the conducted melody was and began starting with a few notes to help. Since what is a band without saxophones? She began rocking out and waiting for the others to jump in and made this one of those most amazing orchestrated pieces ever. Or maybe they were all tone deaf and couldn't tell otherwise. But Kaida thought they sounded pretty good.

As the fight continued onward between them and this oversized rat with a pipe, it seemed that they needed to take a break and jam. With the strength of one's heart and blah blah blah, Glen had managed to somehow summon a large mass of instruments for them to all use. What were these instruments going to do, Stratos had zero idea. However, all he needed to do was not think and play, and something was bound to happen. And so, he turned his attention to the nearest instrument; the guitar. Stratos grabbed the stringed instrument, and looked at it. He suddenly realized he had no idea how to play the guitar, or any instrument for that matter, but that wasn't important right now. What was was that he play the instrument like no one's business. And like no one had any business listening to this, Stratos started to strum across the strings of the guitar, letting loose the sound through the air doing all he could to participate in this symphony.

Just as the music was beginning to take form, Glen threw the spoon strike raid style at the bottles, hitting all of them and making a sound that I forget what the name is but is when you run your hands from one end of the piano keys to the other, yeah that sound. He made them on bottles like a goddamn musical legend. If he kept this up, he would surely be hired as the lead designer for a videogame based on their adventures one day.

Having successfully failed at playing the classic rocker instrument, the guitar, Stratos then moved on to getting to fail at some other instrument. The drums. They were also a classic that he could horribly butcher. Walking over to a set of them that were just floating about, he took the drumsticks in hand and started to play a mighty fierce beat. Which obviously meant tapping the sticks together followed by striking the instrument with the sticks like a madman. Given that Stratos had barely any strength to speak of, it was no surprise that the drums didn't break under this frantic, random and consistent pummeling of the instrument. However, that did not mean that they didn't produce noise, and a noise that would destroy the rat's ears simply from hearing the discordant rhythm and sharp sounds that made zero sense.

When Glen realised the bottles were no longer sounding as amazing as he had initially thought, despair entered his heart. Thankfully, he knew of a surefire way to cure despair. He would play sweet, sweet jazz music. Because he knew how to do that, clearly. Grabbing a saxophone, he began playing it like most professional amateur you've ever heard. It should have been music, but it was mostly failure. However, in his mind he was playing Careless Whisper and really that's all that matters.

While Stratos heard a noise quite similar to the one he was playing, he thought he was going a bit crazy. Clearly no sane person would be able to replicate such chaotic and random bad drumming down to the note and make the same noise as he. Looking over to see that Beuce was playing the drums, a look of understanding went across his face as Stratos simply said, "oh. Well that explains it." He then heard the exact same noise, again, being duplicated, wondering if Beuce had some managed to clone himself here. Seeing that it was Glen who was now on the drums as well, Stratos said, "yup. Still makes sense." Getting away from the drums, Stratos then went on to deal with the next instrument; the violin. A classical string instrument that produces beautiful melodies for the world to hear...when it wasn't played by someone who decided to play it like a guitar. And so, Stratos went on to rock out with his violitar and deal damage once again in this weird limit thing.
