    As things went on, Karina was not in the best of shape. She began to get more annoyed with the situation but was determined. She had to leave the damn mouse in the others hands instead of destroying it herself, so she could at least do them this favour and get rid of the main enemy as fast as possible. Karina let out a cry of determination. They were going to get through this as fast as they could. Karina wasted no time charging forward again, keyblade in hand to attack the shadow blot. It was going to die. She was going to make sure it would die.

    Wasteland halted at 42% Destruction. As the bloticles retreated back into the vat from whence it came, Mortimer was ignorantly paying mind to his own ego. The rest of the keyblade wielders were fighting off the blotlings, but four stood withing Mortimer's vicinity.
    "Wouldya look at this dump? Good riddance if yah ask me!" He folded his arms in disappointment as he prattled on, unaware he was being watched. "Now if I capable leader such as myself was runnin' things, we'd have a different story on our hands. Hehe, they'd have to make me king of course... and bow to me and my every whim! Bwahahaha- AAAHHH!" Mortimer's turnabout was startled as he finally took notice of Glen, Kaida, Beuce and Stratos behind him. "What the!- Hey wait a minute, didn't a keep you nimrods busy with..." He looked behind them as all the bloticles had been vanquished, and the Shadow Blot's army was beginning to dwindle. "Oh well that's just perfect! Old Morty finally has things going his way, and what should happen? Couple a kids with attitude try to take me down. What, no fancy uniforms? Maybe you can wear matching colors and have your own dorky little pose, Hahaha!"
    His chuckle was short lived as he was beginning to grow unamused. "Whats-a-matter, cat gotcha throat or something? Come on, these are the jokes kids!" Mortimer was stalling. He looked on to the Shadow Blot, who was having a difficult time on his own against Kel, Karina, Hikaru, Steel and D'daear. "Unbelievable. FINE! If that's the way you wanna play it..." He summoned his false keyblade and took aim. "I'll show you what the future king of Disneytown does with the likes of you interlopers!"

    Since it seemed Glen was focused more on the immediate attack, Kaida decided it was probably best to try and heal Stratos so he'd be able to help out a little longer. Or maybe it was because a little bird somehow told her what to do. So Kaida aimed her keyblade upward saying, "Here you go." before healing Stratos up a bit.

    Now the the bloticles were dealt with, it was time to deal with the one behind most of this. While he had more powerful attacks at his disposal, he could feel a power swelling up from within him, but it wasn't quite ready to be unlocked. He could feel the path to obtaining it, though. Pointing his weapon toward the mouse, he lit the tip ablaze and shot a simple fira spell in his direction.

    After having dealt with the crazy powerful time bloticle, Stratos would've enjoyed a bit of a break. Of course, such things didn't exist when it came to such large scale battles. Nevertheless, he and a few others had seen their chance to take on the second in command of these blots, the rat thing with the dark keyblade. With all of them catching up to him, Stratos braced himself immediately as the foe struck him with a few powerful swings of his keyblade. Stratos had to admit, this guy was already plenty strong, and he could tell from just a few regular attacks. While he was wondering about what the full extent of his power was, he felt a wave of healing light wash over him. Shaking away any nerves about this enemy, he simply gave a thumbs up to Kaida to show his thanks. Knowing he had to do something, Stratos figured that the best way to go would be to cast an Aerora over someone. After all, their team wasn't exactly made up of the most durable people in the world. But there was one amongst them who stood out as particularly paper thin on defensive prowess.

    Letting wind flow out of his keyblade, Stratos cast Aerora over Beuce.

    The next attack to be done onto the shadow blot was from Kel. He was still unable to use Zantesuken, but Aerial Slam should be usable now (least this is what Moksha is both assuming and hoping) thus he took another running start and when he got closed to the shadow plot, attacked it with Aerial Slam.

    Kel used Aerial Slam (or Combo if I can't use Aerial Slam)

    At this point, Kaida figured it was probably best that she was deligated to healer, for now. She couldn't do this forever, what with the small amount of MP and all but she'd make the most of it. Kaida held her keyblade up and went, "Aaaand some health for Beuce too..."

    As the healing light washed over him, repairing some of the wounds Mortimer had inflicted onto him, he turned to Kaida to give her a thumbs up. However, what ended up happened was he just kind of waved his stump at her and his teeth sparkled when he smiled. The greatest display of gratitude. Now that he had properly thanked the girl, he returned his attention to their opponent and the mysterious feeling of power swelling inside him. Once again, he lit his keyblade ablaze and shot a sphere of fire at him.

    After casting Aerora on Beuce, it seemed that the wind barrier had come up just in time to save the white haired man from death by rat. That'd certainly be an awkward story to tell to future generations. 'Now kids, let me tell you about the time I fought a rat who was using a giant black metal pipe, and he killed me.' That just didn't sound like a very flattering tale no matter what. Really, even if he won, it was still only beating a giant rat. So really, not a good story to tell no matter which way it went. What was he supposed to be doing again? Right, fighting a giant rat. Well, given the guy nearly wrecked him before, Stratos figured that the best thing to do would be to cast Aerora on himself as well, so that he wouldn't die and could keep casting spells to the rest of the party. He also didn't want to tell people of the story of the time he got killed by a rat.

    Stratos used Aerora on himself.

    So far so good but it wasn't over yet, there was still far more that needed to be done. There was no time to rest yet, not till the Shadow blot had fallen at their hands. It wasn't that Karina was getting tired either. She could keep going, as long as needed. The group had fallen silent during the fight. There was no talking needed, they each knew what they needed to do and where they needed to be. Each had their roll and they played it well. Karina wouldn't say that they played it perfectly, but there was very few things that she would consider going perfectly. That simply wasn't doable. That was one good lesson that her father had taught her, and she always held onto. It could have been that it meant that no matter what he said, she could take comfort in the fact that him, himself was not perfect.

    With things going well Karina was not about to slow down now. She held her keyblade tight in hand as she eyed the monster. Soon, it would be soon that it fell. She wasn't going to waste any time. One foot after another, she traveled closer to the blot, moving faster with every step. Soon enough she was right in front of it, ready to attack, and attack she did. She spared no mercy as she slammed her keyblade into the monster again and again until she needed a moment to catch her breath. Only then did she take a step back to breath, but just for a moment. She couldn't afford to waste too much time even if it was to catch her breath.

    As everyone was attacking with as minimal detail as possible, Stratos had felt the need to go into just slight more depth. Because here he was, presented with the option of what to heal Beuce with. He could use cure, but as the rat seemed bent on giving Beuce an awkward story to tell future generations about how he got killed by a rat once, he would probably have to use a hi potion. Thankfully, the young ward came prepared, with pot in hand. Yes, he was going to be able to heal Beuce right up with this pot. He then looked at the potion in his hand and realized something about it. There was writing on it. Looking more closely at it, Stratos gulped a bit.

    Right, this was a thing he had gotten. Stratos thought he had already returned it to him. Yeah, he must have at some point, because why would he just horde his friend's potion otherwise? Besides, based on the chicken scratch writing on it, it was probably done after Beuce only had one arm, so clearly that meant he had to have returned it to him at some point... So why did he have it now? Details, details. Those didn't matter. All that mattered now was that he had it and could use it far more effectively then Beuce could have. So it must have been fate that it found its way back to him. That had to be it.

    Stratos used Beuce's Hi-Potion on Beuce.
