    As Stratos continued attacking the bloticle, it kept fighting back with all of its variety of arms and weapons. He was almost positive all of these new arms he had seen before, though he quite place where the familiarity was from. After all, it felt like he hadn't seen this kind of stuff in years. Regardless of whether or not he remembered what they were, the fact of the matter was that they were still here and that they were still completely able to kill him. Stratos had to dodge out of the way of one of the giant hooks that the ghost arm swung, only to put up his keyblade in guard to the variety of projectiles that this thing was able to launch.

    In spite of his best effort, he couldn't really fend off the attacks forever, and given that seven out of the nine had some kind of projectile spamming ability, it was only a matter of time before the inevitable happened. Having his guard broken, Stratos was sent backward and blown away by the barrage of attacks. However, the moment he couldn't keep guarding, all that attacks convereged solely on his position. And when they had hit, there was nothing left but a smoking crater where the boy used to be. While the bloticle was satisfied with its work, its satisfaction was short lived as a giant slash appeared across its body, and the boy was on the other side of it, relatively unharmed.

    This creature was clearing getting absolutely ridiculous and if Kaida didn't know any better this was the kind that should be leading the charge as the boss, but it was only one of 10 of these things. So this thing wasn't the main boss and she had a feeling she would either be friggin obliterated by the actual boss, or she'd be extremely underwhelmed because of this thing. This creature could be her expectations' downfall.

    Kaida slashed at it a couple of times, avoiding whatever fire came her way, until she got to the second to last clock and she slashed across it, breaking the clock. And based on how angry the bloticle sounded the repercussions of that action were probably going to hurt like all get out. Kaida backed up and kept dodging just to make sure she could avoid whatever it through next. She hoped this was almost over.

    The fight was starting to wind down, and it could be seen in the expression of the bloticle...if it had a face at least, he was sure it would have a tired expression. Its arms seemed to be getting somewhat tired and were having a hard time keeping on weapons they might have had. Furthermore, the entire body seemed to start sagging a bit, acting as if it were a person who was panting, trying to catch their breath. Regardless, the fight was almost over, and Stratos was going to make sure that this creature was put down once and for all. Gripping his keyblade tight, he slashed with it to parry the sickle blade of the bloticle's, and then quickly threw his keyblade in front of him, turning it into a keyglider. Leaping onto it, Stratos immediately boosted with it to avoid getting shot down by the myriad of projectiles the creature had, only to then accidentally crash into the creature and tumble backwards from impact. Thankfully, it seemed to do a bit of damage to the creature, and he could see it was only a steps away from being dead.

    Kaida immediately followed up afterwards by throwing herself and the keyblade at the creature and going after the last clock. She put full force into her attack and swung about five times before the bloticle threw her back. Kaida picked herself up and watched the bloticle only react slower and it seemed so much weaker. She hoped this was the end, because they still had five more of these and 600 blotlings to take care of.

    As the bloticle was basically approaching its end, all the clocks started to whir again. Of course, they were going much slower then before and the thing seemed to be pretty much on its last legs, but it figured if it could get one last power out, it still had a chance. As all the clocks aligned, they gave one last glow before allowing the new appendage to reveal itself. Out from the metallic body of the creature, a puddle of black sludge could be seen being formed with a claw arm of similar material coming out of it. As the arm fully extended out, Stratos finally understood why the arms looked so familiar, and why this one was the most terrifying of all. To think, that he'd have to face that final behemoth all over again, it was a bit of frightening thought. But it was only its arm and attached to a much weaker being, so it wasn't going to be nearly as threatening this time around. However, before Stratos could even react to the thing, the bloticle seemed to be the first one to do so.

    It let out a shriek, not out of anger or intimidation as they normally did. This one, was out of nothing but raw fear. The area around where the arm had formed had seemed to start reverting back to ink, and that ink was slowly being pulled into the black mass. The other arms seemed to have some sort of terror in them as well, as they tried to move themselves out of the way of the arm, but it was all for naught. One by one, the black behemoth's arm tore the other arms off, absorbing them into itself, and becoming a much more frightening arm than any of the others. With light streaming out of his chest, Stratos grabbed at it and had it coalesce into a ball of solar fire as he threw it at the beast to end things once and for all. The behemoth arm simply clenched itself into a fist and extended forward. It punch straight through the sun limit and struck Stratos square in the chest, sending him hurtling away from the creature.

    In the enhanced strength of his warrior form, Beuce immediately leaped to strike the arm of the Kingsmoth. He knew what it was the moment the black sludge had started to spread. This was the monster that took his right arm. The bloticle had sealed its own fate by delving into this power. It was consuming it from the inside. It had struck a deal with the devil and was beginning to pay the price. Beuce had gotten visibly more nervous since the arm appeared. Sweat was running down his forehead, and he looked as though he were shook with fear. He took a deep breath and gripped his blade. Biting his lip, he forced his legs into action. He sprinted toward the halter of eternity, corrupted by the kingsmoth's power. He placed his hand over his chest and began to glow with a red power that looked akin to lightning flying from his body.

    "Stay in hell where you belong, Arma!" He threw his blade up into the air and leaped after it. Spinning in a spherical motion, he kicked it by the hilt, sending it spiraling toward their enemy. It pierced the bloticle that hosted the parasitic behemoth, but Beuce was already on the other side to catch it with cherry blossoms floating around him. Flowing immediately into the next command, he struck it with a cross-slash, and Zantetsukened through it once again. A slash mark cleaved across the middle of it. Coating the blade in ice, he leaped up from the ground and stabbed the weapon into it, immediately performing a vertical Zantetsuken to propel him high into the air as he ripped it from its body.

    Mounting his powerline, he flew even higher into the sky until it eventually ran out, sending him into a freefall. "Here's payback." Pumping all the remaining CG he'd accumulated into a limit he'd never performed before, his hand burned with a bright red aura. His second path limit. With a single, unimaginable punch, he rammed his fist into the hilt of his blade. It became a streak, like a bolt of red lightning raining from the sky. Immediately, it struck its target, and severed the arm of the Kingsmoth from the bloticle. Its power was the only thing remaining to sustain it, and the bloticle faded away into nothingness.

    D'daear looked on wide eyed at the Giant Blots massive claw heading their. Joints went limp for a moment while he wondered how in the world they were going to dodge such an attack. Steel and Kel were by far the most nimble of the group. Heck everyone but him was fast. "Daanng dude.... Back at it again with the pain..." he uttered quickly taking up the keyblade to try to mitigate the damage. The claw punished the group, sending the tall keyblade wielder skidding across the floor on foot. Knees buckled as he stumbled forward, using the keyblade as support just in time to avoid falling face flat. He lifted himself back up with effort before gathering himself to continue the fight.

    D'daear launched forward and attacked with a C-C-Combo!

    Everything was going well so far. Karina had taken a little damage but it was nothing that she couldn't handle. The shadow blot seemed to be having more difficulties, and that was her goal. A smug look crossed Karina's face as she prepared herself for the next attack. This thing wasn't as tough as it looked and she had a good team behind her for the battle. "Well lets work on finishing this up. I would rather not have to stay here longer than possible." Karina commented before running forward, jumping and starting a series of slashes on the blot.

    Steel was entirely silent as he charged back towards the Shadow Blot and readied his keyblades. He swung them downwards in an X before he stabbed Elementary into the enemy. He then delivered a horizontal slash with Oathkeeper before pulling the other keyblade out and leaping backwards.

    "From the looks of things, we're going to be for a bit anyway." Kel said. Enemies these big don't tend to go down easily, especially if there were any tricks that it was keeping hidden from them that could affect the pace of the battle. So far nothing like that had happened and instead of worrying about that possibility, Kel ran in and attacked with his keyblade.

    Karina gave a friendly nod to Krowley as he used Red paint on her. She was feeling stronger due to it. She liked this form and this power up, it was more than a little helpful. Karina cracked a smile thinking about the damage she could do with this. Even more so she imagined what she could do once her body was ready to handle using Zantetsuken again. If Hikaru could boost her power once again then, then she would be set. For now she settled with simple attacks against the shadow blot. It was her best option.

    Steel was utterly gobsmacked... or was that claw smacked? Whatever the case, he had just been hit. It wasn't that he was arrogant enough to believe he was above such things; he was still a corporeal being after all (...Mostly...). But it had been such a long time, that it came as something of a shock.

    Wait, had it really been all that long? Didn't they fight a few blotlings just before meeting Oswald? Surely he must have taken a hit then. But it felt like that was forever ago. Whatever the case, he had to kill this thing anyway.

    Refocusing.

    Avoiding another strike, Steel smirked as he felt an increase in power. Letting out a well timed BattleCry, he threw his keyblades forward. They each struck the Blot's torso, before being recalled by the groups resident speed demon. He continued his assualt by making a massive leap into the air, using his weapons as a pair of climbing axes or footholds. He launched himself higher and higher, stabbing into the ink until he ultimately reached the Blot's face...

    ...Which promptly took a few hard hits.

    His luck was bound of run out at some point and fortunately for Kel when it did run out, things didn't take a turn for the worst for him. Following the shadow blot's recent attack Kel had been struck twice and was fortunately still standing. D'daear wasn't so lucky in a since for he had gone down, only to be brought back up with the aide of a phoenix down. Another benefit was the sudden boost of strength that they all got following D'daear going down. So all and all, it worked out well for them. It would be a waste to not use this newfound strength, so Kel charged in and attacked.

    With a the final blow, the tall boy fell back dramatically as if an iconic moment in an anime or movie. The claw was seen coming a ways ahead of time, but with the fatigue and injuries it was just too much to handle. D'daear fell back, knocked out for the count. A soldier had fallen it would seem. Steel and Kel had taken damage too which would've been a shock had D'daear been awake to witness it. Two fast nimble people had been struck for the first time. You'd think they'd be on one knee now, but with that came a resurgence from everyone; including D'daear. A phoenix down kept in his pocket had lit up and then disappeared only for the keyblade wielder to reawaken. Sitting up right effective immediately, he looked around in shock in attempt to re-access the situation.

    "H'whaaa? Huh? Wha happened?" he uttered pointlessly.

    The team had received a boost in morale it would seem as Karina and Steel yelled at the top of their lungs in defiance to this boss. Getting up on his two feet with the help of the keyblade, D'daear got up and rushed the boss along with eveyone.

    D'daear swung his keyblade around. Combo!
