The girl looked at him with sympathy showing though her eyes, "Oh- Cant help you there..." she took off the clip in her hair and put it back up, "Im sorry. I havent had a boyfriend, ever." she said sadly

Kell closed his eyes tight, "Im thinking." he said, he opened his eyes, "I dont remember...."

Ven sniffed and jumped on the bed

 

"im afraid i cant help you either," Hakku said while sort of laughing, he looked down sadly, "looks like we both have problems,...."

Tantray looked at Kell, "do you remember me? and a pendant that i gave you that was from my father?"

Nami sighed and closed her eyes,

 

The girl looked down at her black shoes, with a sad face on, more like worried, "True dat-" a voice interupted her, "Pari! You get back to work! Your descerbing our money- I mean custermers!" a rather ugly man scorned

Kell hugged Tantray, "Your my auntie! I cant forget you!"

Ven looked out the window

 

"Kell," Tantray silently said as she pushed him away from her, "try and remember when you were big, like me, Ailbyxe, and Hakku,"

Hakku glared at the man, "hey, leave her alone, she wasnt bothering me," he snapped

Nami started to fall asleep

 

The girl sunk down, she blew a strand of hair from her face, "My names Penelope..." she said sadly, the man stared at Hakku and Penelope, "Whatever you lazy. Get up! Come on! Im not paying you to stand and flirt!" Penelope blushed, she waved her hands back and fourth, "No! I-I wasnt!"

Kell started to cry, "IVE NEVER BEEN BIG!" he sobbed and hugged her legs again

Ven grabbed the pillow

 

Tantray knelt down to Kell and put her hands on his face, i wish i knew how to get you back to the old Kell,.....

Hakku looked at Penelope and smiled a bit, he looked at the man, "why are you treating her like this? she didnt do anything wrong,"

Penelope sighed, the man frowned, "She comes here to work! Not to talk! Get to your post." Penelope frowned she dragged herself over to the check out desh without saying anything, "Now I suggest you leave young man." the guy said rudley

Kell smiled, "Auntie!"

Ven opened her window

 

Tantray looked at Kell with sad eyes,

Hakku frowned "make me" he said in a voice as rude as the mans as he crossed his arms

Ailbyxe sat up and looked through her window and at the stars

 

All the workers watched, the man smirked, "Dont make me call sercirity (sp). You wouldnt want to go to jail would you?"

Kell looked at the oven, "Are the cupcakes done?"

Ven couted the rain, tried.

 

Tantray looked at the over, she stood up and put on an oven mit, she took them out and looked at them, "i think they are," she said and set them on the stove

"i dont really care, my lifes already messed up anyway, and also, how can you put someone in jail just because they argued with you?" Hakku asked, looking at the man,

Ailbyxe closed her eyes and fell backwards onto the couch asleep

 

A old women came out, "Thats enough you two, this is a library, and my grand daughter is trying to read." she said calmly. The man frowned then walked into his office. Penelope sighed in relief, she waved over to Hakku

Kell clapped, "YAY! Cupcakes! Gimme, gimme!"

Roki came into the guest room, "Ven?"

Ven moaned

 

Hakku sighed and walked over to Penelope, "why do you work here? it dosent look like you have a very nice boss"

Tantray gave kell a cupcake after she put some icing on it,

 

Penelope sighed sadly, her grey eyes looked even grayer then usual, "I dont have any parents, so. He took me in, he's my uncle."

Roki sat down, "How did it go at the bookstore.."

Ven scowled, "Why...?"

Kell grinned and began to snack

 

Hakku looked down at Penelope, "well, you could come stay with us, i dont think all of us have parents either, and all of us,... pretty much get along,"

Tantray smiled at Kell

 

A slight smile was on Penelope's face, then it went bac to dull, "Thankies, but...Nobody would like me."

Kell giggled and took another bite

 

Tantray ruffled Kells hair and walked over to the couch, "Kell, have as many as you like, im really *yawn* tired right now,..." she said and layed down

Hakku looked at Penelope, "im sure lotsa people will like you," he said and gave her a warm smile

 

Penelope turned away, "No. I-I couldnt. My uncle would find me.."

Kell smirked, he took about 10 and headed up to the boys room

 

"hm, well, think of it for a while, kay? i gotta get back, its getting a little late," Hakku said and headed towards the door

Tantray fell asleep

 

Penelope sort of sunk, she rested her chin on the check out desk

Kell giggled and began to feast

 

before Hakku walked out the door he turned around and smiled and waved goodbye to Penelope
