Kingdom Hearts: Shattered Promises

Zarix looked away "Because I love you" He said asnd prepared to continue running away.

 

"Wait, Zarix..." Namine said. "So we...we can't try being...just friends?"

 

Zarix shook his head and continue running away.

 

"Please...don't leave me in a time like this..." Namine said, her hands clasped. "I...I don't know who to go to anymore...I'm all alone...Sora doesn't love me...and...and...he's going to leave me and I...I don't know what to do...I need you there with me, Zarix..."

 

Zarix stopped and continue looking at her.

 

Demyx raised an eyebrow, and just stared at Zarix.

" What the- Love? You haven't even known her for a day. There must be some other reason."

Looking at Namine, Demyx rolled his eyes, but sighed.

Roxas knocked away her grip, and his eyes turned purple now.

" Fine? Things haven't been "fine" since the day I had been created, with all the false feelings jumping around, I had nothing but grief, and I didn't even have the chance to notice it. Do you think they'd give a hang if I was ever born? Naw, maybe then that way Namine wouldn't have to choose between me and Sora, but I never was in the competition in the first place! All I got now is the Org, and more than half aren't even back! I don't want to feel this way anymore, and things can not be fixed!"

 

A tear rolled down Namine's cheek and she gently wiped it away. "Zarix..." She heard Demyx speak, but she didn't look up at him.

From his change of eye clor, Roxas was either slipping deeper into the darkness, or it just varied with his anger. Whatever it was, Larxene wanted it to disappear. Everything he was doing was starting to aggravate her slightly, and if she wasn't careful, she might say the wrong thing to make him completely overwhelmed by the darkness.
"Roxas, what's wrong with you?" she asked, thinking over her words carefully before saying them. "This isn't like you...what happened to being so determined about everything? What, you're just going to give up? Put yourself down? Besides, I happen to care that you were born...or do I not matter to you?"

 

Zarix just stood here, waiting for her to talk, then he slighty got closer to her, then he returned to his human form and kissed Naminé in the lips.

 

Roxas placed his hands on his head, and he started to scoot back towards the portal.

" Determination, it doesn't last that long when the fact is that you failed. The mission is over, and it didn;t matter either way. Of course you matter to me, like I said, the organization is like all I have now! Namine never loved me for me, she just wanted to pick up some thrashed out version of Sora! She played with my heart Larxene, and it was only to get closer to that......"

The already black sand around his feet started to give off a foggy smoke, and Roxas landed on his knees. What was happening? Who knows, but it was causing him pain.

" That.....that..........."

It was official, Roxas has now given into the darkness, and he could no longer call Oathkeeper. Collapsing in the water, his body began to fade, and the ocean turned a dark purple.

Demyx looked over by the sea, and alarms ran off into his head.

" Ah, just as we feared."

This is when Demyx went off into a long sprint....

 

Kairi had been sitting and watching the water when suddenly her reflection faded into purple. Alarmed, she backed up a little as the water darkened into a shade of dark purple. The same purple that reminded her of the darkness.

 

Sora turn to look at the ocean then he notices it turned black and purple, the same color when he and Riku got separated from Kairi in Organization's world. "No..." he fell on his knees, "we're too late." Tears stream down his face. "How can I tell him now he can have Namine back. Even though he's a mistake, he's the only other brother I have." He hung his head. "I'm so sorry."

 

"Roxas!" Larxene screamed, her eyes wide as she saw him collapse into the water. She dashed forward, her breathing starting to quicken with fear. Fear. Despite being a Nobody, she could actaully perceive the cold, harsh fear hitting her in the face. Apprehension, anxiety at what was happening to Roxas.
Leaping into the ocean, she swam against the currents, which had turned harsh and caustic, striving to push her back. She could feel the cold water splashing against her face, and she blinked, trying to clear her vision, all the while heading towards where Roxas had fallen.
But before her eyes, the ocean had turned a deep purple, and she practically gasped - a second before choking slighlty on the water that had swam into her mouth.
Breathing hard, she struggled to say, "R...Roxas!"

Namine looked up, seeing the ocean turn a dark orchid. She stood up, alarmed, her eyes wide.
"Roxas..." she murmured.

 

He rubs his face with the back of his hand. "HE'S got to be here, I just know it!" Sora runs ahead to find his Nobody.

 

Namine looked up at Sora, back then at the sea, and then back up at where her brave hero was previously.
Hesitating for a moment, she nodded and then followed him. She would help him find Roxas she had to...

 

He saw a white dress and slows down to let her catch up.
It seems like he hurts everyone close to him. He could struck himself again to end his misery, which Roxas would be happy and the girls would mourn. But his death wouldn't solve anything, it would only make matters worse. "I'm sorry..." he whispers.

 

Namine looked at Sora, smiling, but her eyes showed sadness. "It's okay...we'll...we'll find Roxas...and everything will be okay..."

 

"I HOPE you're right." His voice sounds neutral than usual. Her smile made him push on but he felt so empty in his heart.

 

Zarix wiped a tear on his face and turned into a wolf again and continue running away, howling as he left.

 

As expected, Demyx ran into the dark ocean, but it didn't seem like he was looking for Roxas. Grabbing Larxene by the arm, he started to lead her out the water, and he knew that getting hit afterwards would happen. Why though, why would he just skip out on Roxas? Well, it's only because, he knew what was coming......

Out of the mukky waves came heartless, and they all looked exactly like Roxas. The creatures stood on the water, but had a suprising twist. One of the last ones to come out had carried Roxas, and his body could be seen through. The remaining light in him still glowed, but this was all the darkness he had in him. There was like an army of heartless sprouting from the sea, and they all varied. Yet, you could see the resemblance of Roxas in them.

 

He stop in his tracks, again, this time because of numerous Roxas Heartless everywhere he goes. Sora summons his Oathkeeper Keyblade. "Stupid Nobody." He growls. "You are making yourself worse. I am sacrificing my love for Namine to bring you back, Roxas."
