Kingdom Hearts: Shattered Promises

He smile and shook his head. "Don't force yourself, Namine. Love takes time as well as ease hatred." He puts his hands on her shoulders and looks into her eyes. "Even if Kairi and I are together, if Roxas hurts you I'll make sure he doesn't do it again."

 

"You wouldn't hurt him...would you?" Namine asked, looking into his eyes. This was a slightly difficult feat to accomplish, as she had to keep herself from crying again.

 

He scratches his head. "Well... uh, under the circumstances, but I promise I won't hurt him."

 

Namine looked down, unable to keep eye contact with him. "Sora...I'll try to ease away the hatred Roxas has for you...but never forget...my love...it will always be there for you..."

 

He smiles whole-heartedly. "Thank you, Namine." He embrace her in his arms.

 

Namine embraced Sora back, a tear falling down her cheek as he did. This would most likely be the last time he would show her the most affection...

 

He parts from her and smiles sadly. "Well, I guess I'll be going home." He said awkwardly as he thumbs where his home is.

 

"But..." Namine paused, biting her lower lip. She hesitated to say what she wanted, But don't we live together? On Destiny Islands?

 

"But what?" They live together, don't they? He smack his forehead and grinned sheepishly. "Sorry, I forgot. Then I'll escort you home, if you want to."

 

"I'd like that..." Namine said. Before she could stop herself, she moved forward, grabbing his right arm, burying her head in his shoulder. "Sora..."

OOC: You know what was weird? I almost wrote Roxas's name. xD

 

He was slightly surprised but then smiles warmly and strokes her smooth hair.
ooc-I guess you almost got mixed up with the other one, didn't you?

 

OOC: Yeah...but if I did write Roxas's name here, it would be as if Namine still has feelings for him. lol

Namine felt Sora, touching her hair, and she felt warmth fill her.
Sora...

 

Roxas was already gone, walking alongside the beach, but the darkness was still overcoming him. Looking over at Larxene, Roxas just shook his head, and started to walk away.

"..............."

 

"So," he laughs, "should we make a double wedding after Roxas proposes to you?" He hopes it is true. It would mean the end of his hatred and beginning of new feelings. Sora held her tight in his arms.

 

"I...just want to go back...into Kairi...once this is done," Namine said, burying her head into his shoulder. "So...I'll be with you...again..."

Larxene saw Roxas shake his head and turn, beginning to walk away. The darkness was growing, and it was strong...if he continued like this...was it too late already?
"Roxas..." she called over to him, taking a step forward.

 

" What?"

This was said rather cold, and he didn't even turn to look at Larxene. Stopping in his tracks, Roxas stuffed his hands into his pocket, and did a light laugh.

" They think it's that simple. Of course though, it would be for them......It's over."

 

He frowns, now he is starting to have doubts Roxas willingly to fuse with him again. "What if he still..."

 

Suddenly, Demyx appeared behind Sora, bonking him on the head, and with alittle laughter following after.

" What did you expect? I wouldn't be suprised if he never came back, seriously, you guys messed with his heart pretty bad. Oh wait, we don't have hearts, but I must say, some people are different."

 

Sora let go of Namine and then caught his balance. He whirls around to face Demyx. "Heart or no heart. We're doing whatever it takes to cure Roxas back to the one we know. You can tell him 'Sora and Namine's wedding is over'."

 

Hearing those words, Namine's throat went dry, and she felt like crying again. I mustn't cry...I musn't cry...

"Roxas, think about what you're saying...what you're doing," Larxene said, walking closer to him. "I mean, don't plan anything you'll most likely regret...don't let them bother you like that..."
