Kingdom Hearts: Shattered Promises

Larxenes voice seemed to be the only thing working for Roxas, and the smog dissapeared. His black eyes turned a very light blue, and half of his hair was yellow, and the other half was a slight gray color. Knowing Larxene would be here with him always really did comfort him, and he didn't want that to end. This time, he wanted to make sure another loved one didn't leave his side, and not to anyone else. Putting a hand over hers, Roxas wrapped his arms around Larxene, and buried his face into her shoulder. Right now, everything was back to normal, but his heart. Having one or not, something was hurting inside his body, and he weeped on Larxenes shoulder.

Demyx stared at everyone, crossing his arms, and spat at the ground.

" This whole situation is messed up.......rumors do kill people...."

 

Zarix pointed his Keyblade to the darkness that was surronding him, a beam of light was fired from it and the darkness dissapeared.

 

"Are...are you okay?" Namine asked, timidly.

Larxene held him tightly against her, as she stroked the back of his head. She closed her eyes, giving a small sigh. Roxas had returned to normal slightly, but he was still partly consumed by the darkness. She almost didn't know what else to do, as she still feared that mentioning Namine or even Sora would deepen his hurt.
Suddenly, it hit her. He was hurt...deep inside, and she would have to say something that would lessen the pain instead of trying to just remove the darkness.
"Roxas...you don't have to worry...I'll take care of everything..." she murmured. "Everything will be fine..."

 

"Good bye" Zarix said as he continue fading away "The nobodies withouth a porpose to live die, you know?" He asked.

 

Kairi put a hand on Zarix's shoulder as he faded. Her eyes glimmered with tears. Sora...Namine...Roxas...Zarix...

 

Roxas looked up at Larxene, his eyes now sparkling, and slightly brighter now.

" Thank you..........Larxene.....I-I..."

Shaking his head, he continued to hold her, but released eventually. He wanted to tell Larxene where another part of his heart was, but Roxas knew she didn't feel the sameway about anyone in this world.

 

"Don't go..." Namine said. "I want you to stay...please..."

Larxene looked at him, and could see that the darkness had no longer enveloped him. She was relieved she had said the right thing, as she was almost afraid of doing something wrong...she didn't want to hurt Roxas any more than he already was.
"No need to thank me, Roxas," she said, giving him a comforting smile. "Seeing you happy again is good enough for me."

 

"Why?" Zarix asked to Naminé, he almost faded away.

 

"Because...because we're friends," Namine said. "I know we just met...but already I feel as I know you...besides...you helped comfort me...when I was sad...and so...I don't want you to go!"

 

"That is so good, but not enought..." Zarix said and bringed Naminé closer to him and kissed her on the lips, then complety faded away.

 

Roxas brought out both keyblades, and pointed towards a rock.

" Nah.......you deserve everything. Let's get out of here."

Roxas seemed to be more cooled off, thanks to Larxene, but will he after the sight of seeing Sora, and Namine again? We'll see. Crawling fully out, Roxas waited for Larxene, but didn't look at the small group. But, only to turn around to see Zarix kiss Namine, Roxas just stared, and didn't move an inch.

Demyx slapped his forehead, and was happy Zarix left.

" Oh great....."

 

Larxene stood up, now fully out of the secret place, and she turned to say something to Roxas...only to find him staring intently at something in a distance. She turned and immediately spotted Zarix and Namine.
Oh no... she thought, sighing.

Namine widened her eyes in surprise and said, "He just...he...did he...like me?"

 

Zarix completely faded away, there were no remains.

 

Roxas still stared at them, until he snapped, but it wasn't as bad as when he found out about Sora and Namines love for one another.

" Son of a- thought he could have you, and now he wanted Namine. Everyone is just so...."

His sad eyes looked at Larxene, and he crossed his arms.

" I want to escape......with you. I'm tired of this way of life, always feeling doubt, and my heart being played with like a toy......I want to escape....."

 

Kairi looked up from her spot to see Roxas and Larxene arrive. Noticing Roxas' face, she knew that he must have seen Zarix kiss Namine. 'Perfect...' she thought dryly.

 

"No..." Namine said, falling to her knees. "It's all my fault..."

Larxene widened her eyes at Roxas's words. He wanted to run away...to escape...and he was talking about having a heart...but what was it that he wanted her to say?
"To escape...to where?" she asked, softly.

 

Terra and Ven appeared "Another Keyblade Master dead, this is all Xehanort´s fault" Terra said looking at Zarix´s keyblade.

 

Demyx patted Namine on the back lightly.

" Women, get up. You are in no postition to cry anyway. This dude was sick to begin with, and plus he seems to be at peace now. You have way more things to worry about at the time."

Roxas shrugged his shoulders, and took one more glance at the group.

" Anywhere but here......I know, I can't just run away from life, but it's just so hard to get by it......"

 

Kairi nodded and got up.

 

Namine stood up and inhaled and exhaled slowly. Then she turned to Kairi, wanting to ask her a question, but wasn't sure if the time was right...

"I'll take you away for a short while then," Larxene said, putting her hand on Roxas's shoulder. "And when you're strong enough...perhaps you'll be able to return...but I'll still be by your side, helping you."
Darkness swirled around them, as they traveled through the path of darkness to Twilight Town. She would've preferred the World That Never Was, but she wanted a more comforting atmosphere for Roxas.
