Kingdom Hearts: Shattered Promises

"I am so alone..." Zarix said and cried in his sleep.

 

Demyx rushed over to the water, and just stared at his reflection. It was complete silence when he did, and he seemed to be dead or something. Roxas walked over to Demyx, tapping him on the should.

" Uhh, Demyx?"

Demyx had tipped over on his back, and he looked horrified. Roxas turned towards Larxene, smiling, and he clapped his hands.

" Good job then."

 

Kairi, unsure of what to do, awkwardly watched Zarix. She was always left alone with someone she didn't know, wasn't she?

 

"Mother... Father... NO PLEASE, DON´T LEAVE ME ALONE, PLEASE!" Zarix shouted still crying.

 

Kairi felt a pang of sympathy for him. She thought for a second. Her mother had always sung to her when she'd be sick and shouting, and it had slightly helped. She racked her brain for a lullaby and hummed the parts that she knew, trying to remember it.

 

Zarix slowly starting calming as he heared Kairi.

 

"Thank you," Larxene said, chuckling slightly at the sight of Demyx. "Now...Sora and Namine should be on their way to their secret spot, correct?"

 

Roxas nodded his head, and then looked over at Larxene.

" Now, this is when you come in. You drag Namine away, after Demyx leads Sora out the way. He'll have a chance since Sora won't know it's him."

Demyx started to come to his senses, but he was still teary. Roxas shook his head, and did a slight laugh.

 

"And why should we not? I mean... Roxas is my Nobody from the start." He was quite uneasy as he approaches the Secret Place.

 

"I know, I know..." Namine nodded. "But...I'm just afraid...he might be...upset...he hasn't been his usual cheerful self lately..."

"You want me to drag Namine away?" Larxene said. "But don't you want to speak to her alone? After Demyx lures Sora away?"

 

Roxas started to think, and he just remembered what is in the secret place.

"Of course, nice plan Larxene. C'mon Demyx."

Demyx seemed grumpy as he walked passed th two, and he started taking off his trench coat. Underneath he had a plain black shirt, but he kept everything underneath on. He looked pretty cool, but his hair would never be the same. Roxas still had some kind of doubt in his soul, but he had to give this a try.

 

Larxene giggled quietly at Demyx, noticing how upset he seemed. "Stop looking so grumpy, Demyx," she said.
She glanced at Roxas, noticing he seemed...uncertain about the whole situation.
She flashed him a comforting smile and leaned in close to whisper in his ear, "Don't worry about it...just trust me..."

 

"Here, come with me." He grabs her by the hand and takes her in front of Secret Place. "Do you 'remember' this place?"

 

Namine looked around and nodded. "Yes...yes...of course I do..."

 

"Ok I'll... crawl in first then you come right after I give you the signal." Sora got on his hands and feet then move his way in quickly. Once he can stand up, he turns around to face the entrance and shouts. "Alright Namine, it's your turn!"

 

Roxas smiled back, nodding only ounce, and then he looked towards the secrect place.

" Alright Demyx, don't blow it."

Demyx crossed his arms, saying some unkind words under his breath.

 

Softly, Namine got on her hands and knees and gently made her way into the place.

"Good luck," Larxene winked, as she gave a quick pat to Demyx's back.

 

Zarix was calmed, he then smiled, hugging Kairi again in his sleep.

 

Demyx sighed, and went towards the secret place. He had to admit, nervousness was overcoming him, but he thought he could handle it.......maybe.

 

"...you need to stop doing that." Kairi muttered, peeling Zarix off her.
