Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

Gexln thought for a moment. "Try and figure out a way of weakening Xehanort. Maybe try to figure out a way to end it. Unless one of you wanted to come with?" He suggested. "It'd have to be someone that doesn't have a heart to be corrupted, and preferably someone that can hold their own in a fight" He said. He knew who would be able to help. "Someone like Roxas".

 

"Me...?"Roxas was a bit suprised. "Oh no, I've had my time being evil. I want to try and STAY on the side of the heroes."he said. "Aw, Roxy has seen the light!"Valerie joked. "Roxy...?"Roxas gave the young girl a small glare. Kurix couldn't help but smile at 'Roxy'. "I think if more than you guys showed up Xehanort might suspect something. especially if it was Roxas. Xemnas might have passed down knowledge to huis somebody..."Riku said.

 

"Hmm..hadn't thought of that. Guess it's just me and Eden then. She can choose when to leave" Gexln said with a slight yawn, now sitting down on the ground.

 

"Xemnas, Ansem, Xehanort... They are all the same! Just a borrowed form of Terra's! Gex, c'mon, let's get to that plan of yours. The sooner we defeat him, the better." Eden gruffly huffed, annoyed by the sound of time ticking away.

You smirk, wondering the weaknesses of the heart you failed to observe in person. Some scraps of knowledge were kept, like the sound of ticking. It was quite persistent, filling in your abyss. Your once mortal mind fears it, but your immortal side dismisses it as silly. You place a finger on your soft chin, feeling the bumps within the jaw under the skin, noting one side felt pointier than the other. "Xikari...." you muse into your obsidian looking glass. "State your progress."

 

"So...back to the world of darkness..again?" Gexln asked, slightly uneasy.

 

"Alright. Keep in contact if you can."Riku said, turning off the walkie talkie for now. "So. any ideas on how to weaken Xehanort?"Sora asked, putting Kisa in the gummis crib for her. "Well...not weaken his power...but his influence. If we seal keyholes of other worlds, that prevents darkness from influencing that world anymore, right?"Valerie suggested. "Something along those lines."Roxas said. "I think I get it... if Xehanort can't spread his darkness out to the other worlds..... uh..."Kurix paused, thinking.

"I can see them now, father..."Xikari could see the trio. "I will try to apprehend them now..."she slowly crept from the trees, a small smirk on her face. "Why hello there.... I believe you have something that isn't rightfully yours..."Her voice had a sinister and yet seductive tone, an evil smile gracing her lips.

 

Gexln turned around to look at Xikari. "And what would that something be?" he questioned, left hand slowly moving down towards the scabbard that had Darkness' Sorrow inside.

 

Eden poised herself to fight, at least try to attack Xikari's shadow in any way. "Oh great, a distraction. And a horrible one at that." If she had saliva, she would spit at the sorry excuse of a bad guy. Even her seductive voice seemed too young and playful.

 

"My father want me to retrieve the heart you stole. I cannot fail him, so I will have that heart back...."Xikari seemed unphased by the blade, summoning a katana made of black metal with a red handle. Xehanort had gifted her with long range weapons as well, which she could use with the advantage of the bamboo.

 

"I didn't steal anything. Eden's heart belongs to Eden, not to Xehanort. He doesn't own it. It stays with me until i figure out how to get it back to Eden's body. And if you try to take it.." Gexln said, a grim look now appearing on his face, "You're going to be returning to him in multiple pieces" he finished.

 

Xikari gave a small, almost maniacal chuckle. "We'll see about that."Xikaris cat-like slits for pupils seemed to glare into Gexln as she got into a battle-ready position. "Since you are so... idiotically brave, I'll allow you the first strike..."she said.

 

"Idiotically brave? No, i'm just determined to succeed" Gexln said. In one swift movement, he drew Darkness' Sorrow out of the scabbard threw it straight at Xikari.

 

"Be careful Gex! Try not to block out the light or I can't help you! You won't be able to see me and I won't be able to test this theory of fighting shadows!" Eden growled, wishing to attack Xikari head on but could not.

You sigh, Xikari was taking an awfully long time. She was your creation, perfect... but maybe it was the fact that you used another's darkness to create her... Shrugging it off, you annoyingly lounge in your chair of your pets. The tendrils of darkness you command alone are quite cute from your perspective. Walking around in the body you harbor, you summon up Terra... at least his heart. It was time to relish in what the body could do. It wasn't attractive by the slightest, so you weren't planning to woo him down. You only wished to break his spirits once more, so he didn't get any ideas about doing anything stupid. "Can't let him get killed, in case this one does..." you muse.

 

Xikari jumped, dodging the sword with grace. She landed on her hands, pushing the ground to make her body land back on her feet. "My turn..."she took her katana, rushing foward for a direct strike to the chest.

 

OOC: Threw the blade itself, not the scabbard XD
IC: Gexln had anticipated a dodge, but had hoped he wasn't right. He looked straight at Xikari and stood perfectly still, save for the steady rise and fall of his chest as he breathed.

 

"Gex, be careful...." Eden nervously shifted in her form, but went to attack the servant's shadow to attack on her own. She was only able to use hand-to-hand combat, unable to summon her fire or weapons. After the attempted attack, she coughed heavily, coming back to Gexln.

 

OOC:Well the post said scabbard so.XD

Xikari laughed as her sword struck the chest. True it wouldn't be fatal for a nobody, but it would deal severe pain. She immediately jumped away thinking Gexln was going to strike back.

 

OOC: I'm pretending that you GAVE ME A CHANCE TO BLOCK OR SOMETHING like you're supposed to
IC: In the blink of an eye, Gexln summoned the Shadow Keyblade and blocked the strike dramatically. Time seemed to slow down around him as he lashed out and attempted to punch Xikari in the face.

 

With Eden helping, she nicked away Xikari's blade's shadow and held it. With it being in the air, bee-lining towards her two dimensional shadow, the Earthling would strike... She hoped at least.

Xikari growled at the persistence, summoning a second katana and catching the first. "Bolt!"she launched a black bolt of electricity to the sky, trying to summon rain clouds to snuff out the sunlight in the bamboo forest.
