Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

"Wouldn't know where to begin" Gexln said. "I mean, i could try..but playing around with darkness when i have no idea what i'm doing is dangerous..heck it's why i'm a Nobody" Gexln said with a laugh.

 

"No offense, better you than me. I don't understand the darkness and the effects it'll have on a heart like mine." Eden sighed. Ashir stared at Gexln, tilting his head in minor curiosity.

 

"So brat. Any suggestions on a world? You came up with the idea."Riku said. "Well....er... How about Pride Lands first? Simba and Nalas cub would probably be in adolescence at this point."Valerie said. "Oh yeah! I really wanted to check up on that too!"Sora said, smiling. "Um... Pride Lands...?"Kurix asked. "Basically we take the form of animals... Hmm Would it be safe for Kisa though..."Roxas looked over to the sleeping Kisa. "As long as she and Sora stay around the pride."Riku said. "So yeah, we're set."Valerie chuckled. Kurix just nodded at the idea.

 

OOC: Fcking internet this is the 3rd time i've typed this out. I'm just about ready to throw this modem out the window.
IC: "Everyone experiences darkness at one point. Whether it affects them directly or someone they know, everyone goes through it" Gexln stated bluntly. He looked at his wrist, remembering the time he couldn't get out of Dark Form. "Some..more than others" he added. After a few moments, he looked directly at Ashir. "It may not be a bad thing that you know a Nobody of the Darkness. There's a chance, only a small chance but a chance nonetheless, that you won't be as fearful of the darkness as other people" Gexln said simply.

 

"I don't fear the dark. I enjoy my time away from the light, in the waking world at least." Eden chuckled lightly. "I believe that we are born in darkness and live within it for a majority of our lives, and it shall always end that way. It is a part of our existence." she sighed. "My goal if I ever return to this job is to enlighten everyone on how Darkness itself isn't bad, just misunderstood by those who abuse it."
Ashir stared back into Gexln's eyes, blinking a bit.

 

Things were pretty much boring on the trip to pride lands. Valerie was playing with Chester, the heartless now a grayish color instead of the usual black. Sora was giving Kisa a small tickle, smiling at her tiny giggles. Roxas and Kurix had fallen asleep next to eachother, leaning againt eachother on their seats. Suddenly the gummi ship lurched to the side, shaking like something had come into contact with it. "What was that? Heartless?!"Valerie looked scared out of her mind. Kurix and Roxas had fallen out of their seats, basically falling on top of eachother. "Thats weird... The radar doesn't detect any enemies..."Riku said. "Then...what hit the gummi ship...?"Sora asked. "Maybe they're ugh....cloaked or whatever."Valerie suggested. "You'd still be able to detect them or at leas see them outside the dome."Roxas got off of Kurix. "um.... what's going on?"Kurix asked.

 

"Well, whatever it is, we crashed into something," Jeffrey said. "Is there anyway to check outside from in here? Or do we have to open the doors to find out?"

 

"Uh... Hold on I think iiiiiit's...this button."Sora pressed a button on the controls, a monitor blinking on to reveal what had crashed into them. "Well.... it's not heartless."Riku said. Roxas looked over to the screen. "What the hell is it? Its not a gummi ship...."Roxas said. "Not a heartless... and not a gummi ship...?"Kurix asked, tilting his heads. "Maybe it's aliens...?"Valerie suggested. Everyone gave her a strange look. "What? They could be real...."

 

Eden sighed, Gexln looked baffled as to how to help Ashir. "Gex, let me take care of him." She sat in front of the creation nobody, holding his hands gently. "Ashir... honey.... Can you tell me if you know these names? Karl, Arma, Parma... Sean, Blooms, Teloka, Kitsu..." She named off a flurry of names, unsure what else.
With a few twitches, Ashir did register names. "Karl... Arma... Bloom. Sean..." he slowly allowed the names to become familiar with his tongue, but paused a moment at a name that he did not know. "Nexas?"
The Master stiffened, breathing becoming quickly quiet. But with a long draw of Breath she calmed her nerves. "Yes..." she hung her head sadly.
"I... know them... I know you... I... agh!" With the surges of memories and blank emotions, the Nobody's head was filled to the point it was going to overflow. Writhing in some pain, his Somebody quickly led him to bed, and getting a soothing ice pack for the burning forehead.

 

A door opened on the thing that crashed into the ship, and a man's head popped out. "It's a police box, you idiots. Can't you read?"
How did he hear us? Jeffrey thought. Wait... a police box?!

 

"Whoa, how'd he get in here!?"VaKurix jumped. "Um...that would be the door."Roxas said. "Oh! Um... sorry, mister. I believe your um... 'police box' has crashed into our ship."Sora said. "How did you..."Riku shook his head, knowing he's seen stranger. Valerie was staring intently at the guy that just came in.

 

The man stepped into the Gummi Ship, putting a silver, pen-like object into his jacket pocket. "Hmm, bigger on the inside." Jeffrey snickered, figuring out who the man was. "Still, it doesn't compare with my TARDIS." He looked at the passengers. "It doesn't look like your fashion sense compares with mine either..."
"Says the one wearing a bow tie," Jeffrey muttered.
"Hey," the man said, straightening his bow tie in one hand. "Bow ties are cool."

 

"So um... mister, what were you doing out here?"Sora asked. Valerie was speechless. "Um...is she okay...?"Kurix noticed Valerie's stunned expression. Riku wasn't saying anything, examining the man. "How did you just...suddenly appear like that?"Roxas asked.

 

"Well, I was on my way to a meet up with... a certain someone for her birthday, when I crashed into this ship," the man replied. "How it ended up in the Time Vortex is beyond me. I'm the Doctor, by the way."

 

"Doctor....?"Sora trailed off, expecting a last name or even a first. Valerie at this point just dropped to the floor unconcious. "Oh boy... I think he killed her."Kurix said. "She just fainted, Kurix..."Roxas specified. "Well, Doctor... pardon my rudeness. I'm Riku, leader of this group. Thats Sora, Roxas, Kurix, Kairi, Jeffrey, Namine...the one that just fainted is Valerie."Riku looked down to Valerie with a small sigh of defeat. "And this is Kisa."Sora help up Kisa, the little infant giggling.

 

"Hm, I was expecting the usual question..." the Doctor muttered to himself. This must be earlier in their time. I suppose I'll humour them... "No matter! Nice to meet you, Riku, Sora, Roxas, Kurix, Kairi, Jeffrey, Namine, Valerie, and Kisa, but I really must be off. I may be able to travel to any point in time, but I can still be late." He turned around and walked towards the door. "I was a year off once, you know. Nasty business for my companion..."

 

"Companion? Hey, thats what you called us earlier, Riku!"Kurix said. "Thanks for that, Mr. Point out the obvious alot."Roxas chuckled. "Oh! Well I hope you make it to this birthday!"Sora said. "Just..who's birthday are you attending anyway?"Riku asked.

 

"Spoilers!" The Doctor shouted, walking back into his TARDIS. With a vworp, the blue police box disappeared.
"Hey, Val, you can wake up now," Jeffrey said, prodding the girl's side.

 

"Holy sweet Celestia that was the Doctor!"Valerie sat straight up. "Doctor who? I mean really, is there a last name to go by, a first name?"Sora sighed. "Time traveler. Thats kind of cool."Riku said. "Are you kidding? Time travel would be aaaaawesoooome."Kurix said. "...and people say that Nobody's don't show emotion..."Roxas shook his head at Kurix's behavior. For a nobody, he sure acts like he has a heart...

 

OOC: Good to know we had a group discussion about Doctor Who -_-
IC: Gexln blinked a couple of times and walked over to Ashir, unsure of what he had just witnessed. "Was he..overwhelmed with memories?" he questioned.
