Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

"Ventus?... I don't have any plans for him. That is for the next Master to deal with once I disown the title. I just was just going to save my family and loved ones, and make it so that Wielders are able to live a normal life." The Master of the Key sighed, not believing that her goal was better than Sora's by means of his child. "Sora... Riku... Look, please, I want you guys safe so that the child will remain safe. I don't want you two dying for the sake of the worlds. I'd rather be the one to do that."

 

"Look, There is no way you can handle this-" "We'll go..."Sora said. "WHAT?!"Valerie, Roxas, and even Kurix yelled at once. "The heartless never attack Destiny Islands anymore. I guess they just find that it's not worth the effort. we'll go there."Sora said. "But Sora-"Riku was furious. "C'mon Riku. Kisa needs a family to look after her."Sora gave a small wink to Riku. Riku realized what Sora was planning. Stubborn as a goat... just like last time... "Alright, we'll head to the islands."he said. "No faaaair!"Valerie whined, not realizing that the two were planning.

 

Eden detected the deception and poorly attempted cunning of the Wielders, but gave a sigh of relief. "Thank you." she hummed with some feeling. "Remember, the world of Darkness is no place for a child. Children could get corrupted."

 

"We know that! We wouldn't let Kisa go anywhere near such danger."Sora huffed. Riku went to set the coordinates. "I guess this is goodbye for a while..."he sighed. Valerie was grumbling in annoyance. So what, we pretend like nothings happening and go to the islands? No way!

 

"I wasn't talking about Kisa." Eden closed down the talkie connection, looking at the auto-pilot running. Yawning, she went into a small rest area to sleep.

 

"And after everything she STILL calls us immature."Riku groaned in annoyance. "So...what? we are going?"Valerie asked. "Yep. But we'll have to stall saving Aqua and Ven for a while with Eden being so cautious."Sora said. "Wait...we're going against a keyblade masters orders."Kurix said. "Sora defied the King, even I know that. and that, my friend, takes some serious courage."Roxas said. "So... we're still on adventure mode?"Valerie asked. Sora and Riku nodded. "Yes!"Valerie threw her hands up in excitement.

 

Eden sighed, already wondering how badly she would fail in the long run and how the wielders would end up saving her. "Maybe Yen Sid's just being soft on me because I have the King's Key. " she mumbled before fading out of the waking world. "Guess Sora was meant to be the Master after all."

 

The gummi had set off. "So since we can't go to the world of darkness just yet... any suggestions?"Riku asked. "I do! maybe there's unfinished business on the worlds you've been to still. It has been like... three years."Valerie said. "Thats... not a bad idea."Roxas said. Sora nodded.

 

Gexln sat down in the gummi, just thinking. He had considered what Yen Sid had said. He knew how badly he wanted the title, as he believed it would help him get his heart. He remembered Yen Sid's words. A certain part in particular. Until the wielder passes away..away... he thought. He looked down at Darkness' Sorrow, sheathed, and then looked at Eden. She's been one of the few that have been kind to me..could i actually kill her? he wondered.

 

Eden was resting peacefully, eyes half open and blurry.
Ashir waddled up to the Nobody of Darkness, staring at his expressions. "What are you looking at her for?" He chirped quietly.

 

Gexln glanced down at Ashir. "Hmm? Just wondering what she's going to do now that she's a keyblade master" he lied.

 

"She's going to do something..." Ashir shrugged, watching Gexln with utmost interest. The child had found it easier to group with those most familiar, and by scent, Gexln was the only nobody around. "Are you like me?"

 

Gexln raised an eyebrow at Ashir's question. "Am i like you?" he repeated. He thought for a moment. "No, you're not. Everybody is unique" he said, suspicious that he had misunderstood the question.

 

"So you're not a Nobody? That's what Artist Eden said." Ashir was still quite young within the head. His head was still locked with knowing really what he was. He subconsciously hoped for a release.

 

"Oh, you meant a Nobody. Yeah, i'm one...for now" Gexln said, now staring at the ceiling as he laid back in an attempt to relax.

 

After a good long time of space travel and rest, Eden arose to find Ashir staring at both the human and nobody partner. "Oh... Hello honey." she silently cooed. "Ashir, why don't you rest? Or um... eat something?"
"Don't want to." he mumbled with boredom.

 

"You know, even for a Nobody you're pretty....how to put it..emotionless?" Gexln questioned at last, unable to think of anything else to say.

 

"Maybe because he's near me? Or...he doesn't quite know what he is." The Master mumbled. " Maybe your darkness would be able to unlock his abilities? "

 

"Darkness..unlocking abilities? I've heard of darkness doing some strange things..but i'm not sure if i could help him using darkness or not" Gexln said.

OOC: When you said "The Master mumbled" straight away i was wondering when we brought doctor who into this.

 

"You could always try. You know more about it than I do." Eden smirked, believing Gexln could do things the Master of the Key to Light could not. "If it fails, then we'll figure something out."
