Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

"Who said anything about me being easy?"Riku asked, making a strike with Way to Dawn. This is going to be fun.....

"Yay! Kurix?" "Nah, I gotta take care of Kisa...."Kurix said. "Okay then! Who'll be our card person?"Valerie asked. "I'll do it... Go-fish...whoopee..."Roxas said sarcastically, taking the cards.

 

Eden backed up, keeping herself on the defensive. Parry, block, block, down, headbutt the stomach. She formulated her defensive plan, enacting it as Sora played in. She tried using her feet to hop about, locking his legs in hers to trip the male.

 

Gexln sidestepped around the strike. "Nobody did" he said, chuckling at his own little joke as he swung The Shadow Keyblade straight at Riku's ribs.

 

Sora saw the intention, backing away towards Riku and Gexln. Thats it, just follow after me.... Riku blocked the blow, making his own way to Sora.

Once Roxas had the cards shuffled, he passed them out one by one until everyone got an even 5 to mark how many people were playing plus one. "Alright! Let the game begin! Now everyone think of what they're gonna be givin' up first, because I ain't losin'!"Valerie said. "Losing...what?"Kurix asked. "Duh, whats life without alittle excitement. We're all almost adults, lets have some strip poker here!"Valerie said. Kurix and Roxas both had that shocked look on their faces. She wants to play what now?!

Gexln stopped as he noticed the direction of which Riku was slowly inching towards. That dog, he's trying to lure me he thought to himself. He shrugged his shoulders and turned around, taking a few steps towards the exit and away from Riku, Sora, and Eden. We're going to be fighting on MY terms, he thought.

 

Eden growled at Sora, keeping aback. She would stay defensive on her own turf, and would push Sora off defensively if he tried anything else.

 

"I knew it." Jeffrey smirked. Of course she would choose that... "Shame that I don't even know how to play poker." He shrugged.

 

Oh no he doesn't....Riku made his way back towards Gexln. Riku! Sora saw the motion, still slowly inching his way to Riku with every strike. C'mon, don't let him get to you....

"Well none of us do really. So we learn as we go on!"Valerie said. "Alright... Everyone say if they fold or can check to the next player-raise obviously isn't optionall in this case. Then we put in three cards we don't want and take three new ones. Everyone will take a turn, starting from myself and going clockwise. So it'd be me, Kairi, Jeffrey, and then Valerie. and then we can have the option to check our cards and move on, etcetera... Then we'll all reveal our cards and see who has the winning hand."Roxas explained. "And if you guys saw the movies you'll know by know what beats what!"Valerie added.

"So I'll go first...."Roxas took a shoe, taking it off and putting it in the middle. "That'll be where we put the um... 'pot', and winner takes all until...." "If you get stripped down to your underwear, you lose! We ain't havin' any naked people when they get back."Valerie said.

 

Gexln was keeping a serious look on his face, while inside he was already laughing at how easily Riku followed. He ran out of the door and onto the stairs, then he turned around and waited.

 

With the amount of failing to get out of the leg lock she put herself in to trip the Sora, and the amount of closing distance between them and Gexln... Sadly to say, Eden could already see she was failing to put up a decent fight. But, as coming from Earth, opportunities of leg locking were far and few, so the best idea she had instead of tripping was a bit jab upwards by the knee. It would senselessly hurt a gonad or two, but if it got her some distance between Sora and herself, The Wielder of Earth would immediately take that chance.

 

Kairi put one of her shoes into the "pot". Hm... She looked her hand. Well, these two are the same suit... so I guess I'll get rid of these ones. She discarded three cards and drew new ones.
Jeffrey decided to put in one of his gloves. He discarded and drew. Ugh, nothing good.

 

Riku took a quick look over to Sora. Maybe I can trick him...somehow...he went after Gexln. Sora was paying attention to detail, but then noticed Riku going off. No, Riku! Stay put!

Valerie donated her half jacket, being the risky one. She checked her cards, taking out a pair of twos and a three. She smiled a bit at what she got. Ooooh.... "Two pair, Eights and Fives."Roxas displayed his cards, a pair of eights, a pair of fives, and a six of spades.

 

Gexln watched as Riku followed. He raised The Shadow Keyblade. "Now, are you going to fight me without running away to your boyfriend?" Gexln taunted.

 

"Who said anything about running away? I just thought it'd be more...interesting for the three of us to fight at once..."Riku smirked. "Unless you're too much of a chicken, and that's why you ran away."he said.

 

Gexln tilted his head on an angle. "You know, if you're going to try to offend me or aggravate me, you could at least put some effort into it" he said. "Anyway, enough talk" he stated. He spun The Shadow Keyblade in a 360 arc around himself, and then swung it, using the momentum, at Riku's skull.

 

Eden tried every opportunity she could, trying to go for cheap shots, trying to bend her legs to trip the brunette until a slight pain became very real in her leg. Sh--! she cursed in her thoughts, hissing on the outside. She tried backing up, no way was she letting the wielder win. She did everything she could to go all out offensive to keep herself from losing.

 

Riku gasped, barely ducking in time. "Hey, we're just sparring- not trying to kill eachother!"he made a strike towards the ribs with the blunt side of way to Dawn.
Sora was dodging a cheap shot when he heard the hiss. Uh-oh... He realized Eden had hurt herself trying to take him down, now using the blunt of Oblivion to keep up strikes and not hurt the dark haired girl.

 

"Three of a kind," Kairi said, smiling. She laid down her cards - three queens, a nine of spades, and a four of hearts.
"Uh... no pair," Jeffrey said embarrassed. He had an eight of diamonds, a seven of spades, a four of spades, a three of clubs, and a two of diamonds.

 

Gexln grinned. "Treat every battle like it's the real thing, or else once day you'll slip up" he said. He took the hit in the ribs (like a boss), and swung out viciously with his left leg as an attempt to kick Riku in the shins.

 

"Gentleman. Lady."Valerie set down her cards. She had a pair of fours and a pair of twos, and an ace of hearts. "Uh...That means you lose, Val."Roxas said. "What?" "Thats a two pair. Kairi beats you with three of a kind..."Roxas said. "Oh...Valerie blushed from embarassment.

Riku jumped, groaning in annoyance. "Well, I guess its too late to convince you to joing the fray with Sora and Eden..."he said.
