Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

"Well, i ran into them a while ago. Searching for keyholes and such, and..well, since then i've had a rather....interesting, journey with them. Some good times, some bad, some very bad. But i regret none of it" Gexln said. He then chuckled quietly. "Not that we can regret eh?" he added.

 

"yeah.... I guess they're not too bad...sure they can be a bit..."Roxas wanted to word it gently. "Silly, but they sure know how to get the work down."He remarked. "Kinda funny, a nobody saying something like that about the guy who ruined his...well, non-existant life I guess."He looked over to Riku. "The big jerk."He added.

 

Eden arose from bed, limbs heavy and sitting next to Ashir, who stared at her in fear and scooched away. "Stop." she whispered. "Ashir. I know you're not him. But do you even remember who he is?"
Equius watched the human child, staring at her and circling around her.

 

"Ah..." Gexln exclaimed, "him" he said simply. He went to lay down and attempt to get some sleep, but paused, realising how little he really knew about Roxas. "Why do you dislike him?" he questioned.

 

"huh...."Kurix saw Equius, a bit curious at the behavior. Kisa eyes seemed to follow Equius as he ran around, gurgles coming from her. Sora was out like a light, despite having fallen out of the bad. Talk about a hard sleeper....

Valerie was turning in her sleep, unaware of any conversations.

"He basically kidnapped me against my will... I was put into a fake reality, stripped of my memories of the organization and then finnaly realized I was nothing but a pawn that was being used to help wake Sora up! and it's all his fault!"Roxas apparently didn't know about Ansem the Wise...whoops. "Sorry... I guess.... if you don't like someone enough even nobodies can feel anger."he sighed.

 

"Ha, i know all about the rage...being a Nobody of darkness has its downsides sometimes" Gexln said, staring at the ceiling.

 

"I dunno why but.... It feels good to vent it out. I shouldn't even be feeling anger, let alone the relief of letting it out... Being a nobody is complicated. I wish there was another way to get our hearts besides taking others..."Roxas groaned. "It feels... wrong taking lives to achieve our goals. Of course...it was the only solution we had....and probably still have... but maybe we could..."he sighed. "I must be boring you with all of this..."he couldn't help but laugh at how he was ranting.

 

Eden raised her hand to pull Ashir in, to which he flinched and tried to run away. "Honey, wait, no!" She hissed silently, pulling him in. "I'm sorry." she breathed, and he seemed to freeze in the calm moment. "You're not Ashir, but you're my only visual connection to home. Everything I left behind... BloomBlitz, Unknown-Person, Tickity Tock, MeraMeraWolf, DarkKitsuneGirl, Teloka..." She counted off names of people she looked up to, few were good friends. " The point is... I can't believe I'm saying this... But you are the things I left behind." She held his palm in her lap, tracing the lines. "You are the creations of an Artist I once was." she hummed sadly.

Equius shifted his head, staring at the human child as he sat on the floor. He gently nipped her ears, showing a soft side.

 

Gexln shrugged his shoulders. "Any way i can get a heart, i'll do whatever it takes" he stated.

 

"Would you die for a heart if thats what it took?"Roxas asked, lifting an eyebrow. "Don't say 'anything'. You'll never know what you'll have to give up in return."He said.

Kurix gently set Kisa down, resting her against Equius. He couldn't help but smile and the gurgles and giggles from Kisa.

Valerie was out, barely aware of what was going on. "wak!"until she rolled off her bed and onto the floor. "I'm okay..."she was refusing to get up. "Is it morning yet? Oh wait, eternal dusk, right...."she muttered.

 

"Die? Sometimes, not very often, but sometimes...sometimes i wish i had died. So yes, i would" Gexln said, a hint of sadness in his voice.

 

"Huh...We should sleep. Looks like you have that...mark of mastery whatever tommorow..."Roxas rolled back over to try and get some rest.

 

"I guess so. Should be fun" Gexln said as he closed his eyes and tried to sleep.

 

Eden and Ashir both stared at Valerie, the former somewhat angered by the brunette. "Ashir, go to sleep." He scrambled to do so, not wanting to anger the somewhat scary woman. The Wielder returned to her bed, curling up to keep herself warm.

 

"guys...?"Valerie saw the two going to bed and sighed. "Back to sleep I go then..."she sighed, going back to bed and going to sleep.

Kurix saw the infant going to sleep, placing her in the crib. "Mmmng..."He stretched his arms out, laying down on his bed. He sprawled out, quickly drifting to sleep.

Roxas soon passed out, quietly sleeping. Riku was mumbling something in his sleep, but quickly calmed down.

OOC:Now what? time skip?XD

 

After a few hours of sleep, each room was opened by a fairy, taking the girls and boys to separate rooms for their meals. Eden was, of course, eating alone.
Ashir was, of course, eating with Roxas and reviewing what his supposed "somebody" said. He looked over to Roxas, a question in mind. "What is an artist?"

 

"An artist?"Kurix was eating with Roxas and Ashir. "Its somebody that can create their own original works. They can use anything- Crayons, pencil, colored pencil, markers.... Naminé is a bit of an artist."Roxas chuckled. Sora and Riku were sitting together, glad to get another decent meal.

Valerie was chowing down with her food, never really getting breakfast back on Earth.

OOC:Wait does that mean boys and girls are seperated like boys one group and girls another or seperated based on something or what?XD

 

ooc: The Fairies will be giving each person magic clothes. Besides, I just wanted to do that. 8I;;;
bic: Ashir pointed to himself. "She called me Creation. She called herself Artist."
Eden spent her meal quietly, wondering about her competition. Sora, Riku, Gexln... Kairi possibly. She chewed slowly, and only ate lightly. With only a small vine of grapes and a buttery crepe, The Wielder if Earth had finished.

 

OOC:SWEEEEET!*happy dance about getting adventure clothes*
BIC: Valerie had some eggs bacon, and a nice biscuit. "Baaacoooon..."she said as if she was in heaven. Sora and Riku had finished their breakfast, Sora feeding Kisa a quick bottle of formula. Kurix was still eating, although he was almost done. Roxas had barely touched his plate, eating at a slow pace.

 

OOC: Magic clothes for Gexln? No idea what the hell they'll do, i hope you have something planned..

IC: Gexln ate quickly, determined to find out about the test as fast as possible.
