Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

"Unfortunately."Valerie sighed. "But they keep forgetting! we have the spell book. so unless they take it from us, we'll be fine."Riku said. "Oh, you are so lucky they weren't here to hear that Riku."Sora said, joking of course. "Everyone keep together..."Riku said, huddling everyone together so they could teleport safely. Valerie grabbed Chester while Sora held Kisa tighter.

and again they were off, the light clearing to reveal them in the land of eternal dusk. "Woooooow, it's bigger than it looked like in the game..."Valerie was the first to make a comment. Sora just looked around, a part of his heart feeling right at home.

 

"Wow..." Jeffrey looked around at the scenery. "Everything looks great at twilight..."
"I hope we can see Hayner and the gang after you take the Exam!" Kairi said to Sora. "It's been so long since we've seen them."

 

"Yeah....."Sora couldn't help but smile. His eyes seemed to look...lighter, less of an intense shade of blue. Riku didn't notice, trying to shake off the effects of teleporting to another world. "Oh wow, this place is huge.... Which way is the train station again?"Valerie took a quick peek around.

 

Gexln knelt down in a comfortable position on one knee. He couldn't help but glance at Darkness' Sorrow, knowing he would be using it very soon, as he had been at Radiant Garden. Knowing he would need allies, he looked straight at Eden, remembering the magnificent beast she had transformed into earlier. Layering his voice with a thin layer of darkness, he spoke, exposing Eden to the darkness slightly. "Eden, what do you think we'll have to do for the test?" he asked.

 

Eden wanted to register the darkness in Gexln's voice, but was too tired to do so. "I dunno. I remember that a Wielder had to fight her wielder friend in order to see if she passed or failed. I dunno if YenSid will do things different, or even allow us to take the test. We might have to fight each other."

 

"So...if we have to fight each other...only one of us can pass? Is that how it works?" he asked, genuinely curious.

 

"Supposedly. From the only exam I have seen." Eden shrugged. "Gex, rest up. I'm gonna sleep." She nuzzled into the feathers of her great bird, and he nodded off as well. The Wielder rested easy, believing she was safe for now.

 

"Right..." he said quietly. He laid down where he was, staring at the ceiling of the gummi ship and closed his eyes. If one of us is going to pass, it'll be me he thought confidently as he drifted off to sleep.

 

OOC:Tecnicly there are 3 scenarios. Where you both pass, where one passes and the other fails, or when neither of you pass. If you ask me I think option three would happened if you two were even allowed to take the test in the first place.
BIC: "The stations this way...."Riku headed in the direction of the station. Valerie followed like a duckling. Sora was about to follow when he swear he could hear...what sounded like someone casting a spell. "Did you guys hear that?"he asked. "hear what?"Valerie looked around. Riku wasn't bothering with the nonsense, going ahead.

 

The trip was relatively easy, spending about a good 20 minutes resting before the gummi beeped an announcement. " Landing: Master Yen Sid's Tower." it chirped.
The Wielder groaned, raising herself and her bird up and releasing the hatch to explore the floating aether rock.

 

Jeffrey shrugged. "I don't hear anything."
Kairi thought she could here someone's incantation as well. Can only me and Sora hear it?

Sora was trying to hear what the spell was, but it was the language of darkness-there was no way he would understand it. "Guuuys! we're going to leave you behiiind~"Valerie was walking after Riku, not wanting to be left behind by the silverette. "Oh, c-coming!"Sora said. But the moment the incantation stopped Sora felt an immense pain in his heart. Gah...wh-what the? "Sora...?"Valerie saw Sora wince, carefully taking Kisa. "I-I'm fine..."Sora lied, trying to keep going. He could feel a part of his heart as if someone was trying to pry it free...the area where Roxas was kept away....

 

Eden breathed in the air, then went back inside to shake her only nobody companion awake. Equius was getting out and doing some exercises and bashing his head into trees to keep his thick skull damage proof and as dangerous as his beak. "C'mon Gex, we're here. Remember, Yen Sid is very powerful, and we must be polite to him."

 

Gexln yawned and got up. "He'll get respect if he earns it, no other time" he stated. He then thought for a moment. "Or if he allows me to do the mark of mastery test" he added.

OOC: Who plays Yen Sid? o.o

 

"No, has deserves the respect that we are going to give him. He is one of the oldest men I know, the wisest, and most powerful. He even trained Mickey." Eden growled. "He could overpower us in a heartbeat." She warned. She would not allow arrogance to dissuade her one chance to go higher and possibly get closer to home.

 

OOC:Who IS going to be Yen Sid? Because I think we could all probably share him since we're only going to really be in the tower for the MoM exam and thats it....I think.XD

Kairi winced. She could feel a sharp pain in her chest. My heart...? She tried to shake it off. Can't be...
"Are you alright?" Jeffrey asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine."

 

"Riku, something's wrong!"Valerie yelled. Sora could feel the part of his heart finnaly being pried free, a painful feeling indeed. Almost as the suddenly as the pain began there was a bright flash. Riku saw the bright flash from behind him, turning to see what was going on. The light cleared, Sora shaking off the now gone pain. "What was-" "Oowww...."The voice caught all of their attention. Valerie saw that the bright light revealed Roxas and Naminé, both looking winded. "WHOA!"Valerie jumped. Who, what, how, huh?!she was confused BIG TIME. Riku saw Roxas and Naminé a look of pure shock on his face. But...how...?
