Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

Valerie examined the machine that had transported Eden away, lookign at the disc powering it. A program disc....? Is this machine a program? but most of them look like people... "I gotta find the others..."she left her daggers at machine as a reminder to where it was, running off to find her comrades.

 

Gexln licked his lips. Much as he disliked the taste of the human heart, he knew he needed every bit of it in order to get stronger. He looked around the great maw at the mounds of corpses that laid there, due to his consumption of the hearts. "They'll know something's up...unless.." he said, thinking out loud. He placed his hands on the ground, and several heartless appeared as he sensed Eden moving closer. Her darkness is unique..i could probably track her a mile away. I should test that someday he thought. He then attacked one of the heartless, attempting to make it look like he was under attack.

 

To get to the Gummi, Eden had to travel within the Great Maw. Her aerial view from the other areas as shown her the carnage, and Gexln fighting against Heartless. "Gex! C'mon Eq, yah!" Jumping down and sliding the cliff, the Wielder's eyes glowed of fire as she dismounted. Pushing herself to her powers' limit, she kamikaze'd the heartless, burning their empty husks into oblivion.

 

Gexln blinked a couple of times, unsure whether it WAS Eden. As far as he knew, Eden couldn't use fire THAT well. "Uh...thanks Eden...i guess" he said, unsure exactly of what to say. "Where have you been?" he asked, suddenly aware that Eden had been gone for a while.

 

"So what is it?"Valerie had reunited with Sora and Riku and has lead them to the machine. "Oh! I think this can get us out of here!"Sora said. "I'll try and figure it out. I managed to free Equius, I can handle this..."Riku started messing with the keyboard. He pressed a certain key, a light engulfing the group and teleporting them back to the outside. "To the gummi ship!" "and hurry!"Valerie rushed away. "I hope Jeffrey and Kairi got out okay..."Riku said, only to realize Sora and Valerie were leaving him behind. "Of course..."he sighed in annoyance before going after the duo.

 

With a quick extinguishing, she clicked for equius to come back. "I'm back, and we need to leave. C'mon Gex, to the Gummi. " With that, the Wielded mounted her bird, and the bird snapped his beak to pick up the nobody by the coat.

 

Valerie was basically sprinting to the gummi ship, having to stop for oxygen. "Aaaaiiiiir...."she was panting hard. Sora had went to get Kisa, saying he'd join them later at the gummi ship. Riku had caught up, seeing the poor small brunette gasping for air. "Really? Out of energy already?"he asked. "Shut...up..."Valerie huffed.

 

"Crap, we gotta hurry!" Jeffrey yelled to Kairi. The two had escaped a few minutes after the others and were now running towards the Gummi Ship. "We have to get there before Eden does!"

 

Riku saw that Valerie wasn't going to recover anytime soon and carried the girl bridal style. "Heeeey! heyheyheyheyhey!"Valerie protested as Riku ran off. "Put me doooown!" "when we get to the gummi."Riku said.

Sora had gotten Kisa, taking the....calm approach to the gummi ship since he had Kisa in his arms. He couldn't help but chuckle at the idea that the others were running like a chicken with its head chopped off.

 

OOC: Why do you have to get there before Eden? :P
IC: Gexln grunted, clearly not comfortable as he was being carried along. "What's the big rush?" he asked.

 

"We're going to take the Mark of Mastery and so we need to get to the gummi before they do. There, I see it." Eden noticed a small, calmly walking figure. "Dammit." Arms sparking of magic, she was about to murder whoever the trespasser was... until she saw that person carrying from what looked like a bundle from a faraway glance, but Eden could tell was a baby... well, since she knew the Wielder of Light had created one. She calmed herself down, keeping her eyes trained on the gummi, not daring to harm a baby. By mere minutes, her fast paced, but panting, bird was at the brightly colored lego mess, the owner squeezing him inside. "There, go go go!" she ran in, shutting the hatch, and revving up the engines.

 

"Mark of mastery? Guess i'll find out if i can take it. Lets go!" Gexln exclaimed excitedly.

 

OOC:So we don't get left behind again.....
BIC:Sora squeaked as Eden rushed past him, suprised. w-was that Eden?he was alittle shocked. Chester was right behind Sora, alittle confused. "OH crap! Eden!"he gasped in realization, starting to run before the gummi ship made liftoff.

"RIKU! Put me down you....you ruffian!"Valerie snapped. "You don't even know what that is..."Riku said. "of course I do, you brute! Now put me down!"Valerie hated her current 'danmsel in distres' pose.

 

Eden looked out to her wannabe-hitch hiker, but opened the hatch and threw a few warning fires to keep him away. "Stay back!" she growled, but would only throw the fire a certain distance away from him. Enough to scare, but not enough to provoke. Closing the once more, she kicked the ship into more life to jumpstart its travel.

 

"HEEEY!"Sora dodged the fires, holding Kisa close. If the gummi ship went into the air there was no way he could make a jump for it while holding Kisa. He kept running, hoping he could make it JUST before the ship went airborn.

Riku and Valerie saw the gummi ship, Riku finnaly putting Valerie down. "we gotta run. Hurry!"Riku sprinted towards the gummi. Valerie whined, but rushed after Riku anyway.

 

Eden finally found some sort of button (after searching for a bit) that looked useful. And it indeed did. Though, the term "nitro" on a button would be useful, so bashing that big red button, the gummi spluttered and shooted off until it hit space. "Gummi, set course to Yen Sid's tower."

 

Sora groaned in annoyance. he was SO close...he saw Riku and Valerie catching up with him, Riku looking up to see the gummi take off. "FFFFFFFFFF"Valerie was trying not to swear at the sight. Chester saw Riku still had his bag, tiliting its head.

 

Eden breathed easier now that everyone was behind them. She petted Equius, happy she could bring him for the ride. Though he had to sit for the ride, she didn't mind. She nuzzled into the deep crimson feathers, glancing at Gexln. "Better rest up. Or eat up. This exam isn't going to be easy."

 

"So close..."Sora frowned. "Now how are we going to get to Twilight Town...?"Valerie whined. Riku felt the small Shadow heartless tugging at his bag. "Not now, Ch-"Riku looked at his bag, the realization hitting him. "Oh, for the love of-"he groaned. "What? what's wrong?"Valerie asked. Riku said nothing, just pulled out the brown spellbook. "Oh....that works... But we really shouldn't be repeatedly using it just because we feel lazy..."Sora said. "Sora, we don't have a choice this time. Those two aren't meant to be Keyblade masters."Riku frowned. "they could tottaly take over. the universe would be dooooomed."Valerie said, a bit overdramatic.

 

"There you are!" Jeffrey and Kairi stopped at the rest of the group.
Kairi looked around for the Gummi Ship. "Are we too late?" She sighed.
