Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

"Good to see you again," Kairi said. However, her mind was on other things. It's still all fuzzy... she thought. I know I was here before I ended up on the Islands... but I can't remember any faces.

Jeffrey stood there with Valerie, waiting for them to be noticed.

 

"Who are you guys?"Yuffie noticed Valerie and Jeffrey. "I'm Valerie. and he's Jeffrey."Valerie smiled. "Hi there! I'm the great ninja-" "Yuffie!"Valerie finished. "Yeah... how did you know I was gonna say that?"Yuffie asked. "Its a long story."Valerie said. "I see things have really gotten better in Radiant Garden."Sora said. "Yeah! The moogles are planning a mail service that can go between worlds. and Scrooge started up his own Ice cream shop with the little trouble makers. And-"

"We get it, things have been great...."Riku huffed. Sora suddenly yelped as a yellow Chocobo rested its head on his shoulder. Kisa started wailing once she heard the yelp. "Oh no..."Sora started rocking Kisa to calm her down.

 

Equius skidded to a stop at a high roof of a building, staring at the new arrivals. Eden glared down at them, not in the mood to deal with the children she had called her allies.

 

"Oh! Oh! Sora! Leon and I found an upgrade for Ansems computer! we haven't tested it out yet but-" "an upgrade? Great! I'd love to see Tron again!"Sora said. "Easy Sora...."Riku took Kisa into his arms before Sora got too excited. "Can we come? The computer system could be great training for a thunder spell user, right?"Valerie smiled at the thought. "Yeah, exactly!"Yuffie grinned. "Can we go? Pleeease?"Sora and Valerie both looked at the remaining group with pleading eyes.

Yuffie noticed Eden on Equius, not saying anything. Uh-oh, let's hope there won't be any trouble...

 

An upgrade...? Jeffrey thought. He knew there was a sequel to Tron, but he hadn't seen it before the Heartless attacked Earth.

 

Eden's gaze connected to Yuffie, snapping at Eq to run off to the direction of Ansem's computer. She would beat the others, and she would move on to Twilight Town to go on to The Mark of Mastery Exam. "Eq, let's get to Ansem's computer before them. Top speed."

 

"Yeah! Of course, it's probably minor things, maybe a few changes to the Light-cycle game. But we won't know until we test it!"Yuffie said. "Oh, that'll be awesome!"Valerie said. "What about training?"Riku huffed. "We can train while we're there also. I'm sure the upgrade might've affected the heartless in the comouter system too."Sora smiled. "Alright... But someone has to look after Kisa..."Riku said.

"I could-" "Holy Celestia!"Valerie jumped at the voice, turning to see Aerith. Where'd SHE come from?! "Sorry, I couldn't help but listen in... I could look after the little one while you train..."Aerith said. "Oh Aerith, I wouldn't want to burden you..."Sora said. "She won't be a burden at all, really."Aerith gave a gentle smile. "Alright..."Riku handed Kisa to Aerith. "Let me lead the waaay!"Sora said, alittle too excited now.

"No way, with how long it's been you'll just get us lost."Riku said. "I still remember! and we can save the trip with the teleportation spell! I could cast it!"Sora said. "Ah, making good use of the spell book Merlin lent the King..."Aerith chuckled. "So Kairi, are you up for it?"Valerie asked.

 

"Huh?" Kairi was still thinking about her lost memories. "Oh, sure." She grabbed the spell book and flipped through the pages. "Mystith Rhunethic Lenane, Curasten Blartha Nurona..." She concentrated on the castle. "Mystith Rhunethic Lenane, Curasten Blartha Nurona!" Once again, they were surrounded by a bright flash.

 

Eden kept running off, trying to get to Ansem's computer, and it was harder than she imagined. It has been a long time since she played Kingdome Hearts II, and each direction was a nostalgic punch that left her swimming in memories.

 

Thanks to Sora remembering the group had been transported to the computer room. "I told you I still remember."Sora stuck his tongue out at Riku. "Yuffie, Aerith? huh..."Valerie put down Chester. "I guess they were out of the spells range..."Riku said. The heartless saw the computer screen where it was asking for a password. "Password...?"Valerie tilted her head. "Oh, I got it!"Sora immediately typed in the password. Sora, Donald, Goofy... "Acess denied..."The robotic voice said.

"They changed it?"Sora sighed. Riku decided to have a shot at it. "Radiant Garden....?" "Acess denied..."The robotic voice said again. "Ansem the Wise!"Valerie took a shot at it. "Acess denied..."The laser was starting to charge, sensing people trying to access the system.

 

"Organization XIII?" Jeffrey guessed. "Access denied..." The voice replied.
"Terra, Aqua, Ventus?" Kairi tried, not having anything better to guess. "Access denied..."

 

Eden had finally reached the refurbished "maze", hoping the left path was the right one, finding that it was. The room was entirely familiar, and knocking down each door(though taking a moment to open a hidden one), she entered into the big chambers, noticing the light of the data beam becoming more and more clear and bright. "Oh no you don't... Eq! Keep on running!"

 

Chester started pounding on the keys. "Acess denied, acess denied...." "Uh...guys?"Valerie looked back, noticing the laser. "Keyblade!" "Acess denied. "Kingdom Hearts?" "Maximun password entry reached..."The laser was fully charged. "Guys!"Valerie yelled. Sora and Riku turned, seeing the laser. But it was too late, it had fired to launch the group into the database.

 

Eden finally came into the room too late, everyone else had beaten her. "Damn!" She dismounted Equius, who was heavily breathing. "Sorry Eq, here." She offered him some feed, and went to the mainframe. Though the maximum password acceptance has been reached, she still typed in one thing anyway.
I'm coming.

 

"Maximum password reached. Security beam charging. Time remaining before password attempts- ten minutes...."The robotic voice said.

Sora groaned, shaking his head. "Still never got over tha...."He gasped, seeing the world of the upgraded system. It was huge, and was now almost like a robotic city. "Wha..."Sora's outfit had changed from its Megaman-esque form to a sleek black with light blue 'circuits'. Valerie was waking up, by Sora's side. "What the heck happened...?"She groaned, opening her eyes.

"Whoa..."she gulped. Riku was starting to wake up as well. "Is everyone alright...?"He asked. "I'm fine..."Sora said. "Me too..."Valerie said. Everyone elses outfits we like Sora's, black with the light blue 'circuitry'.

 

Eden just waited, clicking for Equius to come. "It'll be a bit rough, but worth it." With a few moments of waiting, the security scanned and beamed in the two "hackers" and would punish them accordingly.

 

"Everything's... black," Jeffrey said, looking at his suit. "A step up from grey, I suppose."
Kairi looked at her hands, covered in the gloves of the outfit. "Leather...?"

"It looks..." "Amazing...."Valerie saw what looked like a large archway with red-orange circuitry approaching them. "Um... I'm new to this, but I don't think thats the welcome wagon."Riku said. "Glad to know the bad guy colors are still the reddish orangey color..."Sora gulped.

bic: Eden surveyed the landscape before her, it wasn't her old team's location, that's for sure. "Must be because I threatened them." she smirked. Her thick leather-like clothes were running jagged with red lines. Equius was similar, as her noble steed.

 

Chester went over to the group, his appearance not affected. Valerie picked up the heartless, staying quiet. "C'mon, we all gotta hide."Riku lead the group to hide as the archway came closer. Sora stayed quiet, right behind Riku. Alright, now to just figure out where in the system we are, find Tron and find out where we can train.... "So why are we staying quiet?"Valerie asked.

"Shh!"Riku saw people up ahead. They were programs, probably security or trouble with the red-orange circuitry. "Hide!"he whispered. Sora and Valerie quickly hid with Riku.
