Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

"Jeeze, I can't wait to get off this planet. I mean I love Earth! but it gets boring after fifteen years." Ellen stared at her feet as she walked. sometimes it felt like everyday was so clockwork, so dull. But to go off to another world, a Disney world, was a dream come true!

 

Sora kept a carful watch out for Heartless, a pep in his step. Suddenly a heartless appeared before them. However, instead of the normal kind or the crazy kind, it was a trio of white mushrooms. "Ooh! Hello!"Sora smiled.

Riku kept a wary eye for Heartless when suddenly a trio of White Mushrooms appeared before the group. "Ooh! Ooh! White mushrooms!"Valerie grinned. The first white mushroom had a light over its head, signifying using thunder magic. The second was fanning itself, signaling blizzard magic.

The third, however... The third white mushroom started digging at the ground. "Well thats a new one..."Riku frowned. "Thunder!"Valerie took care of the first white musrhoom. "Blizzard..."Riku took care of the 2nd. The 3rd however...

 

Kairi looked at the digging Mushroom. "Digging... maybe an Earth-based spell?" She turned and looked at Jeffrey.
"Well, I haven't tried any elemental magic yet, but it's worth a shot," Jeffrey replied. He held out a hand, and closed his eyes. "Earth!" A few seconds passed before a rock the size of the White Mushroom's head popped out of the ground in front if it. The third Mushroom clapped its hands.

 

Ellen felt Jeffrey's magic strongly, and stared at the Mushroom. "Woot! Earth For The Win!" she grinned. This was a time when she really wished for some sort of magic talent, but at least she had decent fighting skills. Her blade tingled lightly and she made due to re-position it's sheath so it wouldn't bother so much. "Calm down, its just a little magic. Your so sensitive."
"Mostly to the Earth and nature element. That is my main strength. That is why I was created, for nature and magical abilities."
"Hey! Thats why when Al went insane, and I got so mad, that everytime I walked grass grew!"
"what?...Did you think I was just for my sharp edges?"

 

OOC:Wait, didn't Riku assign Ellen to Sora's team?

"Woo-hoo!"Valerie cheered Jeffrey. Riku gave a small nod of approval. The Mushrooms changed to their next set. The first suddenly caught on fire, wanting to be put out. The 2nd started spinning around, signifying an aero spell. The 3rd did the charades for thunder, the light going over its head. "Thunder!"Valerie took care of the thunder one. "Aero!"Riku took care of the spinning one. "Kairi, I think we'll leave this one to you."he said.

 

Kairi nodded. "Water!" An orb of water extinguished the fire.
"Two charades down, one to go," Jeffrey said, his fingers in a V-sign.

 

The first one frooze in place, signifying the Stop spell. The 2nd turned purple, the same colored bubbles over its head. The 3rd fell to the ground, a cross over its body. "Stop!"Riku cast a stop spell on the first one. The mushroom applauded, handing out a few MP spheres and 2 bottles of Elixirs before vanishing. "I have no idea..."Valerie stared at the other two. "Me neither..."Riku frowned. "Esuna...?"He cast the Esuna spell on the 2nd oneThe Mushroom applauded, handing out 2 more Elixirs and some MP spheres before vanishing.

 

"I think the third one's dead..." Jeffrey guessed. "Think you can cast a Life spell, Kairi?"
"I read about it in a really old spell book, but I've never tried it before," Kairi replied. "But I guess there's a first time for everything." She summoned Destiny's Embrace to help her cast the spell. "Life!" A circle of light shined around the White Mushroom. It stood up and handed out MP spheres and 2 elixirs like the others.
Jeffrey walked over and picked up the elixirs. "Spoils of war?" he joked.

 

"Tonight, we feast like knights! or whatever..."Valerie laughed, taking an elixir. Riku put two in his bag, making sure everyone had one. "Great reward if I say so myself..."he drank the Elixir in one gulp, shivering.

 

Kairi put her elixir away. "I'll pass for now."
Jeffrey shrugged, taking a sip of his. The taste kept changing - lemon-lime soda, mint chocolate chip ice cream, Reese's peanut butter cups, and so on. "You were right, this is is amazing..."

 

"Told you sooo!"Valerie grinned. Suddenly another trio of white mushrooms appeared. "whoa! Aren't you guys being..helpful.."Riku was suprised.The first started digging the ground, the 2nd caught on fire, while the third started fanning itself. "Blizzard!"Riku didn't seem suspicious of the reappearance of the white mushrooms.

 

"Well, the more Mushrooms, the more prizes for us!" Jeffrey said excited, if not hyperactive even, casting another Earth spell on the first one.

 

Riku decided to cast the water spell on the 2nd one. The next set was for Fire, Thunder, and Stop. "Fire!" "Thunder!"Riku and Valerie easily handed the first two, though Riku wasn't used to the Fire spell.

 

"Stop!" Kairi took care of the third one. "Only one more, right?" Jeffrey asked, after all three had been solved.

 

"Uh-huh."Valerie nodded. The next set of charades was for Cure, Aero, and Earth. "Cure!"Riku cast cure on the mushroom, earning 2 more Elixirs. More...?He put the two Elixirs in his bag.

 

"Aero!" "Earth!" Both mushrooms handed out 2 more elixirs each. "Woo!" Jeffrey shouted as he grabbed another, handing one to Valerie.

 

Valerie and Riku gulped their Elixirs down, Riku needing his to recover from the cure spell. "Woo!"Valerie felt alittle dizzy, but shook it off. Riku shivered at the amazing taste of his elixir."Okay...Lets see if we can make progress before running into anymore..."he said.

 

Jeffrey gulped down his, as well. Even Kairi decided to drink this time. "Whoa," Jeffrey said as they walked, "did the grass used to be that... green?"

 

"I...don't know..."Valerie asked, looking at the grass. "What are you talking about...?"Riku asked, a bit confused. Suddenly a duo of white mushrooms appeared. "Oh, Come on!"Riku huffed.

 

"We can take care of them! And then we'll save the world!" Jeffrey shouted. Kairi looked at him like he was crazy.
