Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

The Thunder had done it's work, leaving a numbed and frozen Neoshadow at the mercy of the superior beings. It wanted to feed, as it felt little passion for these people. They were food. Delicious, delicious food.

 

"Eden.... snap out of it..."Riku frowned. "Oh...Please, don't do this again..."Valerie whimpered, not wanting to lose one of her friends again. Riku took Oblivion, knowing he had to do something before the Heartless killed them all. "NO!"Valerie knew what Riku was planning, holding the Neoshadow tight. "What are you doing? When the stun wears off it'll kill you first!"Riku snapped.

"You're not hurting Eden! I won't let you!"Valerie snapped.

 

The twitching NeoShadow started to move, barely, slowly, but was recovering. Soon enough it would go back into it's infernos, raging with raw power the heart it was born from had only harnessed to a degree.

 

"Eden, please... Please snap out of it... I don't want them to slay you...."Valerie was tearing up, holding the Neoshadow tighter. "Valerie...it's not Eden anymore... Let it go..."Riku frowned, not wanting Valerie to get hurt.

 

The Neoshadow struggled under the human's tight grip, stopping it's ability to pounce or even properly move it's whip-like arms. It only proceeded in it's raw inferno, but oddly enough the heart relished in the feel of another beating heart. The flames that the heart fueled didn't allow this heart to be burned, much to the heartless' dismay and raw anger.

 

Valerie whimpered at the fires, bursting into tears. Riku lowered his keyblade, going to his knees. "Eden... I know you better than this by now. You are stubborn as a goat, you shouldn't lose control like this so easily...."He frowned. Valerie was still crying like a baby, concerning Riku. "You have friends that love you...Please, calm down so we can find a way to get you back..."he said.

OOC:Alright... I am this close to giving up.*pinches*

 

ooc: I am only acting to what I believe heartless normally act like.
bic: The neoshadow growled, snapping at Riku. It was hungry. It wanted hearts. It wanted to FEED. It was about to sink within the shadows, then screamed in pain, as light was entering within the heart. The way heartless screamed made it look more painful than what they actually felt. It was a silent scream, for they registered the pain, but could not feel it. It wanted to rip out the one thing that allowed it to be, but that would be suicide, so it screamed silently, the flames putting themselves out.

 

Gexln shook his head sadly. "What happens to a heartless when it is slain?" he asks Valerie.

 

"It fades away... I don't want Eden to go through what Riku went through! She's already gone through it once! Not again!"Valerie whimpered. "Valerie..."Riku grew very concerned for the girls sanity.

 

"And heartless are made of pure darkness, correct?" Gexln asked, an idea forming in his mind.

 

"And what?"Valerie heald the NeoShadow closer. "What do you have going on in that head, Gexln? Nothing bad I hope..."Riku could tell Gexln was thinking about something.


OOC:We're not going back to the WoD, are we? We just got through that bloody place!

 

Gexln smirked. "Oh nothing, just an idea i had" he said.

OOC: Nah, but in theory since Gexln can manipulate darkness...well i mean it'd be godmodding but it's a way to get Eden back o.o

 

ooc: I would like it if we not venture back into the Dark Realms again unless it is absolute
bic: The Neoshadow screamed of having it's light wrenched out, looking for the darkest thing in it's limited vision. It found a nobody, powerful with darkness, and easily superior to itself. As the way of Heartless, they would work under those with the most power, and this one almost curled up next to the one harboring just as much emotion as it's core. With a series of hisses and clicks, the dead language of the Darkness, the true Heartless, echoed within the chilling shadows. "Master, please, my Superior of Darkness, cleanse me of this putrid light."

 

OOC:Well I have no bloody clue how to get Eden back from Heartlessville.XD

"Oh? Well, any idea would be helpful at the moment. Valerie looks like she's about to squeeze the head off the Heartless."Riku said. Valerie didn't loosen her grip for anything, not understanding what was going on with the Neoshadow.

 

OOC: Not into the realms of darkness...er...nvm..wait Gexln's talking to a heartless? AWESOME
IC: Gexln looked around, trying to find the source of the noise. Never before had he heard that voice, other than when the darkness itself spoke to him. "Wh-where are you? Show yourself!" he demanded.

 

The Neoshadow struggled further, almost producing the sound of a frail whine. "Master, please! I beg of you, release me of this awful light! I wish to consume it! I am here, my Superior, do you not see my plight?" It struggled further, only to be scorched by the light Valerie's heart contained, which on the physical realm was a silent scream, in the mental realm, it was very very real.

 

"Gex....who are you talking to...?"Valerie and Riku looked over to Gexln, confused.

 

"Can't...can't you hear it?" Gexln asked. Maybe..maybe if i respond in its language... he thought. "Who are you and how do i release you from this light?"

 

"Master, this light, it is burning me! My Great Leader of the Dark, release me from this heart's grip! I wish to feed, and this human will not allow me to do so!" The Neoshadow struggled further, trying to bite Valerie's arms, a fruitless effort while it further screamed in pain, but the darkness was dissipating and the form of Eden was revealing itself.

 

Riku could hear the talk, being in the darkness himself once- but he couldn't understand what they were saying. Valerie, however, was dumbfounded about the events going on.
