Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

"Whoa..."Riku was amazed. "Holy cow, that's Riku!"Valerie was amazed.

 

"Wow" was all Gexln said. "Riku, you really need to stop losing yourself. Get a padlock or something" he joked. He sat down. "So now what?" he asked.

 

Kairi saw a surge of light in the distance. "Could that be them?" she asked to herself. Not giving herself any time to think, she sprinted towards the light.

Jeffrey's head titled down, his eyes beginning to close, but he jolted back up, still tired. "Where are they? It's been... I don't even know. I've lost track by now."

 

"I heard that..."If Riku had control he would've bopped Gexln in the head... "Well we need to find Kairi and get out of here... We did seal it, right?"Valerie asked.

The gummi ship had repaired the broken dome, things going back to normal in the gummi ship. Sora was in the resting area, pacing around. The calender was still on the fritz, but he knew that the group had been gone for way over a month now. "Oh... please be okay... whats taken them so long? Ugggh..."Sora collapsed onto a bed, almost sick with concern.

 

Eden almost doubled over in exhaustion. Obviously, two hearts controlling the same body was stressful to an unfit body. "I'm just gonna, sleep here... in a coma..."With that, she could barely sleep, as the Keyhole had enough of these humans, and nobody, within it.

 

"Whoa, Eden! Wake up! We gotta get Rikus heart back to his body! C'mon!"Valerie readied a thunder spell to wake the girl up. "Tiiirrredd...."Riku was sprawled out in his haven, exhausted as well. But he knew he had to get back to his body.

 

"How do we do that?" Eden groaned. She could barely get up as it is. And that Keyhole took more out of her then she had realized, because she knew something changed. "Do I just hold his hands? Does Gex rip hid heart out with his key? Or do I repeat what Sora did?"

 

"Um... no idea. Uh... Uh.... Hold on, let me think!"Valerie started pacing around. "You go do that....Ugh, I'm gonna need a nap when we get back to the gummi..."Riku yawned.

 

"Same..." Eden didn't even bother to keep her response mental, just passing out on the scraggly Ayer's Rock. She was tired, in pain, and needed a rest that her heart was desperate for.

 

Valerie looked over to Rikus body, taking a deep breath. "Since you guys are too tired..."She went over to the motionless corpse, dragging it to Eden. "Pleeease let this work..."she made it to where Rikus hand was grabbing Edens, hoping something would happen.

 

OOC: Which it wouldn't because doesn't work that way XD the heart would have to be released, kinda like Sora did. There is an easy way to do it too
IC: Gexln looked at them strangely. "What are you doing? Do you even know how to release a person's heart?" he asked.

 

"Well excuuuuse me for not having a keyblade to unleash someones heart."Valerie huffed, hands on her hips. "You have a keyblade though, soooo...."she pointed to Riku's body and Eden.

 

Kairi walked up to the light, catching her breath. "This must be them. Where else would light come from in here?" She reached out her hand, touching it with her fingers as someone would before stepping into hot or cold water before walking in. As soon as her eyes adjusted to the brightness, she saw Riku's body and Eden with Valerie and Gexln near them. "What's going on here?"

 

"We got the keyhole sealed! Now we just need to find a way to get Rikus heart back to his body....you can use your keyblade to do that, right Kairi?"Valerie looked hopeful, jumping up and down in excitement.

 

"I dunno," Kairi replied, scratching the back of her neck. "I mean, I could try... but there's no guarantee that it would actually work."

 

"Well at least you can try...."Valerie gave a pair of hopeful eyes. "The sooner we get this done, the sooner Riku can have his body back and return to having cuddle time with Sora."she joked. "I heard that...."Riku muttered, waiting for Kairis attempt.

 

Kairi couldn't help but laugh at Valerie's last comment. "Alright, here we go!" She held Destiny's Embrace straight out at Eden's heart. She focused on Riku, and the tip of the Keyblade began to glow. But after a few moments, the light faded away. "I guess I can't do it without knowing how..." She turned to Gexln. "Do you know?"

 

"Just tryyyyyy~"Valerie whined. "I highly doubt he knows. No offense, Gex."she said. "She's passed out, not deaf!"Riku huffed.

 

Eden awoke with a sharp pain in her chest. "OW! What the hell! F--k! Jesus son of a--" with a multitude of colorful swears, some even made up, the Keybearer of Earth painfully groaned as she sat up only to find herself top heavy. "What the f--..." staring at Destiny's Embrace, any normal person would wonder how they were alive, and she did too. Even through months of being under this constant stress, she still shrilly screamed at the sight of a Keyblade piercing her chest. Throwing it out of her, having another slew of swears and hisses, she checked for any damage. "What the HELL!? WHY, IN ALL THAT IS HOLY AND UNKNOWN, WOULD YOU DO THAT!?"

 

"We were...trying to get Riku's heart out of you..."Valerie said sheepishly, pointing to Rikus unconcious body that was basically a preserved corpse.
