Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

Eden quickly nodded, unable to pull up a brave face inthis situation. Too many things were going on, and it was overloading her senses.

 

"Eden! Kairi! Gex!"Valerie screamed, hoping that someone would find her that wasn't a monster. Now she was starting to get scared.

 

"What?" Gexln called back, not even turning to look in Valerie's direction. He was focusing, attempting to pinpoint the keyhole.

 

Valerie didn't say anything, just held out her arms until she felt skin. "Pleease tell me thats one of you guys...'she whimpered, gently squeezing Gexlns arm to make sure it was an ally she was grabbing.

 

Eden turned to who else had grabbed at Gexln, other then her quivering arm. Before she could scream and kill whatever it was, she noticed who it was. "Valerie!" she could almost cry in the small joy of having her around. But still, the darkness coiled around them. Summoning whatever strength she had to her Keyblade, bringing in a bit of light. Something glinted off in the distance. Multiple glintings.

 

"Oh Luna I hope Kairi's okay with all these zombies..."Valerie gulped. "Now I get why the world of darkness is so dangerous...Not only are there heartless but the bodies they leave behind...euck."Riku shuddered at the idea.

 

"What's worse is that I can't tell if it's real or if the darknes is playing with us." Eden sheepishly spoke aloud, pushing herself to find the keyhole and healing the tainted landmass of Australia.

 

"She'll be fine" Gexln said. He tried to focus on the glintings. "What's over there?" he asked.

 

"Gexln, we miiight want to follow E-chan before the creepy zombies get us and eat our brains and hearts."Valerie rushed after Eden, hoping she was going the right way.

 

"You're the ones needing to worry about your hearts" Gexln said, but followed Valerie none the less.

 

"Where the flying fish is the keyhole?!"Valerie yelled, not seeing the keyhole anywhere. "Like we're supposed to know where it is?!"Riku growled.

 

"Guys?" Kairi asked, looking around in the darkness. She had been separated for the group, who had ran from their dangers. "Where are you?" She could feel Destiny's Embrace pulling towards something. But it definitely wasn't her friends.

Jeffrey fed the Heartless a bit of spoiled food. Sitting back, he yawned and scratched the back of his head. "They've been gone for a few days already. What's taking them so long?"

 

"It feels like more than a few days...."Sora sighed, looking at the gummi ship. 'Calender unavailable' was shown on the screen. Chester happily accepted the spoiled food like a living garbage disposal.

"Running, running, running running-why are we still running?"Valerie was looking desperately looking for the keyhole, the runnin definately taking alot out of her.

 

Eden looked back, unable to hear or see anything but her comrades. "I thought..." she shook off the feeling, going at a slower pace to rest her tired legs. She lpoked at the glintings within the dark, but her Keyblade pulled her into the direction of one. The closer she got, the more the other flecks of light burned out.

 

"Are we there yet?!"Valerie asked, starting to get tired. Oi, now's the time she starts to get tired of running?! Riku was trying to stay calm, which was hard considering the situation.

 

"Valerie, keep going." Eden grumbled, going to the speed of a very little jog. "Right now things are bad, but we have to hurry up. My legs are killing me, and with one bad joint, it's not easy." she kept moving forward, finally reaching the now great ball of light within the dark.

 

"Is that it...? Oh Pleeease tell me thats it!"Valerie was exhausted. She had no idea how long they've been running... heck, she didn't know holw long they'd been in the world of darkness in general.

 

Eden poked the light with her weapon, wary still. It ended up blowing up in her face, bringing the group to brighter area, though grim with the dark. It looked like The End of the World, or at least one of the secluded areas full of very big and very bad enemies... namely, Darksides and neoshadows today.

 

"Oh boy...I didn't realize Darksides were so...big."Valerie squeaked. We are soooo screwed.... Riku frowned.

 

"Darksides are big, but they're really not that difficult to take out. They're big, but slow" Gexln stated, shaking his head.
