Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

Eden panicked, she didn't like being alone. No, she could stand being alone for a few hours, but right now, she was developing a small case of mono-phobia. She called out still, and saw nothing. Wait, what was that? No, she couldn't hear that. There was nothing. Like someone was watching tv and then had to mute it for something important. She looked around still, hoping the darkness wouldn't use her fears to fight her.

 

"Eden, relax. You still have me around so don't panic..."Riku said, notiving Eden started to freak out.

 

"But, I, still, I want to have someone around. You're like Ashir to me, not really there, a voice in my head!" Eden nervously rubbed her arms, looking around. Then she heard it. Metal. But it was sliding, towards her. She felt a weight hit her foot, to which she nervously looked down. It was a pistol, one that seemed to belong to a western flick. She nearly screamed and ran from it.

 

Gexln sighed. "Fear is the one thing you people should fear most of all, as it limits one from ever reaching their true potential" he said. He went to jump, but hesitated. I'm a Nobody of Darkness, i should be able to control it, but...what if i can't? I've never been exposed to this much before he thought. He took a deep breath. Never reaching potential he repeated. He leapt into the darkness.

Instantly, he couldn't see. He couldn't sense where people were either. The darkness was corrupting his senses. "Hey, cut it out!" he yelled angrily. "Well maybe i'll just light the area up a little!" he shouted. He fired a dark firaga in a random direction, hoping to light the area a little.

 

Valerie couldn't really see where she was going. She seemed to have a bit of a pep on her step, occasionally having to watch her footing. "Whoa!"She gasped as she nearly fell into what appeared to be a hole. She cleared her throat-making a rather strange noise doing so- and spit to see how deep the hole went. It took a few seconds for a sound to be heard, making Valerie shiver. She hated heights....

 

Eden stared around, catching her thin breath after running for so long. "I hate..." with a thick cough, she continued. "I hate that gun. Never want to see it again..." she looked around, wondering what other horrors awaited her.

 

Riku had watched Edens freak-out, a bit confused and yet intrigued.... "I wonder how we're supposed to find my body in this blackness...."

 

"Don't like guns, never did. "I don't know either, really. Too dark." She glanced around, hearing the soft pads of feet. She turned around, seeing a body cloaked in darkness. She would have screamed as well. It was Riku, if you could call him that. Cloaked in Darkness, eyes sunken to the point he looked dead. Even his eyes had an eerie hum of venom yellow. She could almost smell his decay. "Oh my God!" She stepped back, heart pumping wildly.

 

Riku nearly screamed in panic as well, panicked. "What happened to me?!"he yelled. At least...he hoped it was him...

 

Gexln was walking around, stumbling in the darkness. "Never had i thought there'd be a day that i'd wish darkness was gone completely" he thought bitterly. He fell onto the ground with a loud crash, but he didn't get up. He couldn't use the darkness within himself to sense it, but his natural instincts told him someone, or something was watching. He layed on the ground, completely still, knowing that any move he tried to make may be his last.

OOC: Eh, idk if there is or isn't something in there, i'll let you guys decide. But, uh, how are our characters going to get out if they can't see? lol

 

OOC:1-Heartless are probably EVERYWHERE in that blackness...Pray its not a darkside, Gexln!XD
2-The keyhole teleports everyone out when its sealed? that's my suggestion.XD

 

ooc: For a world to greedily keep in it's own kind within the keyholes would probably overbear normal humans/nobodies.
bic: Eden couldn't really understand if this was or wasn't Riku. She really didn't want to know. And yet, she could hear him hissing at her, in some unknown language. It (as she refused to acknowledge it as "Riku" or "He") lunged at her, to which she ran in panic before falling under his weight. Immeadietly she tried kicking him off, collecting her bearings and running away again.

 

"This is NOT good! My body's like a zombie. That is definately not good. run run run run run!"Riku was definately panicked, definately suggesting running as the only option for now.

 

Eden didn't listen to Riku, as she was already running for her dear life. Soon enough, she tripped, not on her own feet, but over someone on the ground. She groaned in pain, cursing to herself that she didn't pay attention, but then noticed who she tripped over. "Gex! Gex, get up! Please, something's after us!"

 

Valerie was probably the only one left that was still unaware of the dangers... and even if she was aware, she still was trying to ignore it.. "Just giggle at the Ghosties, Val... Giggle at the-"she yelped as she tripped over a rock in her path. "oh..heheh...just a rock..."she was clearly starting to get nervous.

 

Gexln cautiously stood up. "Wait..what? What's after us?" he asked. His hand tightened around the hilt of Darkness' Sorrow.

 

"I don't know, I was running from some sort of zombified Riku, his body at least. But still! We have to seal the keyhole, and I can't light the way again like the Human Torch!" Eden bit her lip nervously. Summoning the Reversed Kingdom Key, she hoped it would lead her to the center.

 

Valerie was staying put after her trip, hearing the moans and groans of what sounded like people. "ooookay... thiis is starting to creep me out..."she squeaked, getting to her feet.

"We need to find Kairi and Valerie and get to the keyhole as soon as possible."Riku frowned in concern.

 

"Zombified Riku?" He asked. He considered the idea of trying to fight it, but dismissed it immediately. "Wouldn't be able to see.." he said quietly. He looked at Eden. "Well, no use standing around. Lets find us a keyhole" he stated.

 

Valerie was definately moving cautiously now, ready to cast thunder or toss her daggers at the first sign of a monster. It was rather difficult when she couldn't see past her nose with all that darkness....
