OOC: Uh, excuse me? They were already AT Australia lol and the darkness wasn't COMPLETELY wiped away so it'd still be pretty damn corrupted.
Bic: Gexln sighed. "I've been ready for hours while the rest of you weaklings slept. While you slept, darkness corrupted this land even further. The light may have scared off the sludge for a while, but its surely back now. I can feel it...it's....everywhere, all around. How can the rest of you sleep while this is happening?" Gexln asked, more than slightly irritated at the rest.

 

Eden glanced at Gexln, nodding in understanding at his annoyed behavior. "Gexln. I know you're upset we took time to sleep, but we needed it. We're going into something pretty big, and we at least needed some rest. Not to mention, some of us had not been given an hour's sleep in weeks. We're only human, Gex. And you were once human too."

 

"Humanity is a weakness in itself" Gexln said coldly, annoyed by the reference to his other.

 

"Humanity is living. We cannot change that, Gex. But it is better to die fighting then fade into..." The pyro paused, calling back to Nexas. "There are nobodies out there, who have died like humans. And they died with some memory and honor."

 

"A nobody can't feel honor. At all. IF i fall, it'll be during a fight" Gexln said gruffly.

 

Eden bit her lip, grabbing Gexln's hand lightly. She sadly stared at him, unhappy with the answer. "I don't want you to die fighting, I've already lost a few in the group... let's not lose more."

 

"I'm not going to die for a long time, if ever. Do nobodies truly ever die, or do they just fade back to the nothingness they came from? I've often wondered that myself" Gexln said thoughtfully.

 

Eden shamefully hung her head. She knew how things worked. "When nobodies die, they fade." she weakly admitted. "They fade into nothing."

 

"But..aren't i already just..nothing? So what, i just cease to be here anymore? Is that how things play out?" Gexln asked, fearing he knew the answer.

 

Eden winced, this was getting harder. "I uh... don't know exactly. When you get overpowered and finished off... You just fade into nothing... But right now, you are something. Now I don't ever want to have this conversation again, you hear me?" her eyes were fiercely pleading. "For the sake of Nexas, do not fade as he did."

 

Valerie was taking in the argument, giving a small sigh. Sora was giving a small frown in his guilt.

 

Eden breathed herself calm, going forward to the sludge. She kept in a breath, hoping she could hold a flame long enough once more. "Alright... Guys, form a line. I'm going to light a path, like last time.

 

Gexln stood ready to keep walking, clutching Darkness' Sorrow as though his life depended on it.

 

"Be safe!"Sora said. "We will. don't worry, all of us are coming back this time."Valerie gave a thumbs up, getting in line. Sora frowned in concern, a hand over his stomach.

 

Gexln raised an eyebrow. this time? he wondered silently, but said nothing.

 

Eden sighed, pressing herself to create a large flame that covered her arm. The clothes didn't burn, as she noticed with a small victory. Heading into the running sludge, she headed towards Ayer's Rock. She was going to make sure that her world was safe, and then, she'd be gone.

 

Valerie followed, keeping an ey out for any danger with her daggers in hand. "Hah! I bet this is going to be a piece of cake!"she grinned.

 

"Don't be too hasty." Eden snapped, lucky she could do this much magic without getting herself hurt. "Gex, can you lead us to the direction of Ayer's Rock? It's a bit hard to know from this sludge.

 

"Should be easy to see as its a giant rock but...sure i guess" Gexln said. He stepped towards the front of the group and walked in the direction of Ayers Rock.

 

"This ick is everywheeeere!"Valerie said in overexageration. "good thing Sora-chan isn't here to look at it. The baby would throw a fit."she huffed.
