Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

"South America. Smack dab in the middle." Eden muttered, annoyed that she was trying to have a good moment of one she shared her home with.

 

"We didn't know much about it either but we have E-chan to explain all."Valerie said. Riku noticed the suprised look on Sora's face just as it turned to one of confusion. "You sure you're alright, Sora?"he asked. "Y-Yeah... I thought...nevermind, it's nothing."Sora smiled.

 

Ellen nodded and gave out a yawn. "Final Keyhole. I think this one will be the most dangerous." The young brunette smiled.
"The more dangerous, the more fun. yah?" she cracked her arm bones by pulling one at a time over her head.

 

"AW YEAH!"Valerie said. "Really... could you BE any more immature...?"Riku huffed. Sora couldn't help but laugh, checking the coordinates. "It looks like we'll be arriving in just a few minutes. Everyone get ready."He said.

 

Jeffrey got up and stretched. "Hopefully there won't be many Heartless near the Keyhole. Then we can get this over with and get some sleep."

 

"Yeah, but might as well get ready just in case."Valerie took a look at her daggers with a grin. Sora gave a small chuckle. Riku was splitting everything he and Sora had evenly for when they split up-doing his best to even out the potions, ethers, and Elixirs. "No mega-elixirs?"Valerie asked. "Unfortunately no. I actually used my last one on Riku to try and heal him after the battle with Xemnas."Sora explained. Riku remained silent.

 

"It is you!" Andrew exclaimed, a smile forming on his face. He hugged Eden tightly, squeezing her and hoping to never let her go. When Eden lost her memory and became a Heartless, he felt like it was his fault. Ever since the duo had met, Andrew could tell Eden felt responsible for him. She always helped him when he needed it, and was always available to talk or hang out. But when it was Andrew's turn to watch over Eden, he let her down. A tear ran down his cheek as the smile faded, but Andrew's face was buried in Eden's sweatshirt. He prayed she wouldn't see him cry, she'd never let it go.

 

Eden could only smile, slightly crying herself. "I will make sure we are never separated again." she held him tightly, as if he was so fragile, he would vanish if she let go. " Just promise to always be by my side, little badger. Our families are gone now, so we will watch each other."

 

Andrew nodded, looking up at Eden and smiling. His frown had disappeared and was replaced once again with a cheeky smile as another tear ran down his face. He slowly released Eden from his grasp, still looking up at the tall girl. "Yeah big lion," Andrew replied.

 

Eden slightly chuckled. "Mama Lioness." she corrected. "Andrew, I want you to stay by my side. I don't want you to ever leave my sight. I know I'm being demanding... but I don't want us to lose each other. If anything, I can ask Riku if we can stay linked." she found herself going against boundaries and privacy, but she was just being paranoid.

 

Riku and Valerie smiled at the scene, Sora keeping an eye out for when they reached their destination. Sora suddenly gade a loud woop. "We're coming in for a landing!"He said. Riku gave a small nod in acknowledgment. "Finnaly!"Valerie grinned.

 

"Of course!" Eden wiped her eyes, looking back to the door. "Let's go Andrew. Before we get separated." She went over to wake up Nexas, to which he groggily arose. "Hun, we're at Bolivia. Let's get going." She went over to Andrew and held his hand, tightly, her hands felt cold and clammy.

 

"Alright, remember that you two are going with me. Sorry Riku, you might end up getting lost."Sora stuck his tongue out at Riku. "I'll be fine. You may have someone experienced with the country. But I have 2 keybladers and a radar."Riku said, mentioning to Kairi and Valerie. Valeries cheeks immediately sparked at 'radar'.

 

"Right, sorry," Andrew said. "Mama Lioness." He smiled as Eden took his hand and they headed toward the door. "I can't believe we're in Bolivia," he admitted. "I bet it's beautiful! You know, other than the Heartless roaming around." Andrew had never traveled away from the United States, so seeing another country (especially with some old and new friends) was amazing to him.

 

Kairi nodded, reading to see more results of her training. "Hopefully we'll find this one as quickly as Egypt's."
Jeffrey pushed away a small yawn. No elixirs. I'll just get some sleep afterwards. He drew his katana a bit, checking the blade's sharpness.

 

"Alright. We'll head out first, then."Riku said. "Be careful..."Sora gave Kairi a hug, going over to Riku. "Especially you."He gave Riku a small kiss on the cheek. "I'll be fine.... You be careful with the baby..."Riku said. "C'mooon! Let's go already!"Valerie huffed.

 

Eden nodded. "Just be careful Andrew. You'll get altitude sickness from being here. These are mountains, no oceans." She looked around, so much she felt sparked memories, but at the same time they were so long ago it was fuzzy. "I don't remember where Tia is... I don't even know if she's in a different house." She sighed. Looking around, she noticed the city empty, cars still in the road, though doors closed. "Everyone was eager to run away from the darkness...." she mused.

 

"Well, the less people there are around, the less we have to worry about any interference," Jeffrey commented. "Not that the Keyhole will probably be in the city."

 

"I guess this is where we split up, huh..."Valerie had her hands behind her head. "Soon..."Riku said. Sora suddenly gasped, grabbing Rikus hand. "Riku..."he whispered. "Sora..? what happened?"Riku asked. Valerie looked at the duo, watching Sora whisper something into Rikus ear. "Really?"Riku asked in a whisper. Sora nodded, smiling gently.

"Whats going on, you two?"Valerie asked. "Nothing!"Sora and Riku said at once. "If you saaay sooo..."Valerie rolled her eyes. "So! are we heading out now...?"she asked.

Eden sighed quietly at Sora, Nexas following behind and Andrew in her grasp. "Sora, Riku, right now we shouldn't split up. Not yet." again, she said this with a tone of finality, and elegance.
