Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

"I see... While I do admit I rant to myself as well sometimes, I've never heard anything so....interesting."Riku gave a small smirk.

 

Eden walked forward, inwardly grumbling. "I can still hear you."
The Darkness wanted to laugh, but the Light was stiffening her mood, and finally, he went away, muttering something about weaklings. Her veil released Riku, her form sighing. "My Brother, he is a hypocrite. He is what you fight for."

 

"Never knew light could be like...well, that. This is so backwards but... I can't help but love the complete mirrors of light and darkness...."Riku couldn't help but chuckle. "Its like being around Sora. again..."His mood instantly changed, frownoing. "I... I hope he's okay. He's got so much to worry about with the baby.... I wish there was something I could do...."He shook off the depression. "Sorry..."he sighed.

"Gaaaaah. This sludge is so icky."The trio were trudging through the sludge, Sora doing his best to stay energized. "The darkness must really not want us to get to the keyhole..."Sora frowned. "Oh yay... This better be worth it when we meet up with the others!"Valerie huffed, shaking some of the sludge off her shoes.

 

"Understand now, Riku? Light has always been harsh. We have spent a third of our lives in the darkness, protected. And in the end we go into darkness." Eden mentally groaned, she was getting a bit more pained, tired, chilled in such a warm place.

 

"Hey, don't give up on us now....Want me to take over so you can rest?"Riku grew concerned, knowing Eden was getting tired.

"I can't see ANYTHING in this ick. it's really bugging me out!"Valerie huffed. Sora sniffed the air, grimacing. "Gaaah, what is that smell?"he could smell the burning darkness from the extreme heat. "I dunno. Aussies are probably putting something on the ol' barbie!"Valerie said in a fake australian accent. "ouch. stereotype much?"Sora asked.

 

"I will keep going, for the sake of us all." Eden mumbled, her stubbornness causing the flame to grow. The sludge feared her more, clearing a larger path.

 

"Easy. When we do run into the others we don't want to burn them ali-"Riku paused. Through Eden's eyes he could see something in the distance. "Whats that up ahead?"he frowned.

Sora looked ahead, seeing the flames. "Whoa...what happened...."he gasped. "Duuuude! Someones putting darkness on the grill..."Valerie was suprised.

 

Kairi still had Destiny's Embrace summoned in case she needed to help. Eden's magic is so strong... she thought to herself. I don't think I've even seen Sora hold something like this up for so long.

"Well, whatever it is," Jeffrey said, "let's hope we don't get fried by it!"

 

Riku saw the group trudge closer. The moment he caught Sora he forced into control, his determination having the fire make a clear path through the darkness. "Sora!"He smiled. "Oh! Heeeey! Eden, Kairi, Gexln!"Valerie waved to the group, making sure to keep Sora supported. Sora was taking by suprise by the dark haired girl clamping onto him out of the blue. "R-Riku! What's gotten into you?"Sora was suprised by Rikus behavior.

"Oh Sora! We could see something going on over where you were and oh Shiva I thought the worst. Are you alright? Is the baby okay? What happened?!"Riku was definately acting like a concerned father. "I can tell you. We ran into that crazy guy that wanted the keyblade and he made us crash the gummi ship We had alittle scuffel but he eventually ran out. Sora's fine, he's just out of energy."Valerie summarized.

"I was so worried..."Riku placed a hand on Sora's stomach. "Riku. Eden's going to kill you if you act like this in her body."Sora chuckled. Riku pulled his hand away, frowning. "Right... I almost forgot..."he sounded depressed. "C'mon, let's get back to the gummi ship. I'm starving!"Valerie said.

"Oh, and you think the rest of us aren't?"Sora laughed, his stomach giving a low growl. Riku was silent, keeping his frown.

 

"We finally meet up again, and the first thing on your mind is food?" Kairi asked jokingly. She heard her stomach growl. "Not that it's not true..."
"I think it's time for all of us to get some food," Jeffrey said.

 

"To the gummi ship!"Valerie said, turning around while still helping Sora walk. "I'll be fine now, Valerie..."Sora said, pulling away and getting on his own feet. "You sure?"Riku asked. Sora nodded, a hand on his stomach. "We alrighty then. Lets-a go!"Valerie said. Riku sighed, leading the way through the dark sludge.

 

OOC: Gummi ship crashed. Really it wouldn't be able to fly.
IC: Gexln raised an eyebrow. "On the ol barbie? Australians arer definitely not like that, and what do we need the gummi ship for anyway?" Gexln asked.

 

Eden had almost passed out within herself, but she had to keep the fire going. She would not allow her tired form to put out their only protection. She didn't even care to notice Riku's antics, or maybe she didn't care at all. "Do what you wish, but I will not allow kisses. Do that, and I will burn you when human once more."

 

OOC:That doesn't mean the gummi wouldn't be able to provide food for everyone.

When the group came back to the gummi ship, Riku immediately lookes suprised. "What happened?!"He looked at Valerie and Sora. "I told you, we were ambushed. The gummi crashed."Valerie huffed. Sora went inside the gummi, getting food for everyone.

 

Eden took control, wanting to be the first to eat what food she had scavenged for everyone. She hugged her body tightly, shaking a bit. Her clothes were in almost ashes again. "Do you have clothes too?" she meagerly asked, not wanting to be naked. Good Lord, she'd need whatever enchanted clothes Sora had because the fabrics of Earth were not going to last long enough for this Pyrokenesis.

 

"Um....I don't think so."Sora was getting food for himself. The contents involved marshmellow creme, strawberries, pickles, mustard...and apparently vanilla ice cream with potato chips sprinkled on it. "You could use mine but..."he gestured to his enchanted outfit as if pointing out that he kinda needed it. "This is the only thing of my clothes that still fits."he said nervously, a hand on his swollen belly.

Valerie realized that she let Sora get the food and rushed to the kitchen, seeing what she could get. "No...no....No....JACKPOT!"She took out a few packets of ramen, getting a cooking pot. "Need any-" "I can do it! Don't worry!"Valerie started getting everything ready to cook the ramen.

 

Eden sighed, she had the energy to cook. She was bloody good at it too, as she had cooked dinners before. "Move over." she checked the fridge, freezer, pantry, finding many spoiled or frostbitten meats.Little survived, though rice was an option. "I... can't make anything, ramen it is." she sighed in defeat.

 

"Don't worry. The gummi ship can fix itself when minor damange like the broken dome happens. Then... I don't know if you'd call it magic but the gummi ship shoud start supplying plenty of food again."Sora was eating his ice cream 'masterpiece' as he wanted to call it, the child kicking to show that it enjoyed the food. "and that is why you're not cooking for the group."Valerie had gotten the hot water ready, keeping the stove at an even temperature so nothing boiled over while the ramen cooked.

Riku knew of Edens dilemna, pondering a bit. "I left my enchanted outfit in the gummi ship...of course that was another reason the heartless overtook me so easily..."he cleared his throat. "They might be a bit big on you, but it's better than nothing."he said.

 

Eden nodded, she did need clothes after all. Something was better then nothing. She quickly scoured through the Gummi, looking for said garments, noticing them on sight. She looked around, going into a closet to change out of the ashes and into clean cloth.

 

"Craaaaaaap!"despite Valerie's best efforts she had to set the pot to a lower temperature at the first sign of the water boiling over. Sora couldn't help but laugh at the girls effort to cook. Valerie gave Sora a small glare, getting bowls for everyone. She made sure to make enough for everyone to get their fill and the right amount of flavoring. "Very nice work, V-chan."Sora said, looking at the cooked ramen with suprise.

"Why thank you!"Valerie smiled, a sense of pride and accomplishment in her. "Soooups on, everyp- everybody!"she quickly corrected herself.
