Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

"SORA!"Valerie screamed, fearing the worst. Sora barely had time to dodge. "Firaga!"he shot the large fireball at Gregory, hoping for a hit. Valerie frowned, knowing she couldn't use thunder magic. Meaning since she knew no other elemental spell yet she had to stick to physical combat. "Take this!"she tossed her daggers like boomerangs.

 

Gregory abandoned his diving attack and instead dove vertically downwards, changing his angle at the last second to avoid slamming into the ground. Rushing forward, he lashed out with a fist straight towards Sora's face.

 

Valerie caught her daggers, rushing toward Gregory while he was the distracting. She aimed for the wings. If he couldn't fly, he'd porbably have a harder time dodging. Sora saw Valerie charging, barely dodging the punch to the face to give more distraction time.

 

Gregory had no idea Valerie was trying to hit him. Trying once more, he swung his leg up in a fast kick towards the face.

 

Sora blocked the kick with his arms, smirking. "Is that it?"he knew the distraction was working. Valerie got her daggers in just the right position when she got close enough, slashing fiercely into Gregory's wings.

 

Gregory howled in pain as the daggers pierced his wings. They were still partially usable, but from the immense pain he could only hover for a few seconds at most. He turned and glared at Valerie. "YOU. WILL. DIE!" he screamed. An immense amount of electricity flowed through him as he moved at an insane speed straight towards Valerie and swung out with all his force in a savage punch towards the skull.

 

"REFLEGA!"Sora held Oblivion to Valerie, a blue barrier surrounding her to deflect attacks. "Sora! Just run, you're in danger here!"Valerie saw the barrier. "I know, but there is NO WAY I'm letting you die!"Sora yelled.

 

Eden noticed thunder, lightning, and everything happening at once within the sky of darkness. She could only think of Valerie, but for Valerie to do something as asinine as this would be idiotic. Her breathing deepened to allow more strokes, but her body was too tired, she allowed Riku to take over, the mental strain put into every thick stroke weighed her down immensely.

 

Gregory was knocked back by the reflega, the force of his own strike sending him crashing onto the ground. Quickly he rolled backwards and stood up. "You don't have much of a choice" Gregory said, eyes tainted red from the bloodlust he felt. With a menacing cry he spun around quickly, launching razor sharp feathers at Valerie, Sora and Jeffrey.

 

OOC: OH Come on!XD

Riku immediately tried his best to hurry to where the fight was taking place. They better be okay over there..."he growled.

 

Jeffrey summoned a wall of stone in front of him and the others. The feathers lodged into the rock, just barely stopping the feathers. Jeffrey pushed his glowing hand forward, shattering the wall and sending the shards at Gregory.

 

"Fire!"While Jeffrey shot the shards of earth Sora sent a few fireballs at Gregory. Valerie tossed her daggers, knowing Gregory couldn't dodge all of their attacks.

 

OOC: *facepalms* Riku's in Australia, he can't possibly get there. And also, something you forgot to take into account is the fact Gregory's wings aren't COMPLETELY useless. My gosh, a simple jump's all it takes to avoid those attacks.
IC: Gregory's eyed widened as he realised he was in danger. Thinking quickly, he leapt high into the air, all the projectiles zooming underneath him. He hovered in the air for a brief moment, before his left fist began surging with electricity. He dove vertically downwards, slamming his fist against the ground and releasing an electrical shockwave beneath him.

 

OOC:The gummi ship barely able managed to reach their destination of Australia before they crashed thanks to sooomebody. and really? So no three on on attacks unless each attack is at a different time, height, whatever? Ugh, and here I thought teamwork could help in this situation...
BIC: "Hey! Not cool!"Valerie wasn't really affected much by the electric shockwave. Sora had definately been shaken up a bit. "gaaah...my head..."he felt luggish after the attack.

 

OOC: You never specified the height, so i assumed they were launching straight at him. Be more specific.
Gregory smirked. "And here i thought you were intelligent. How dissapointing" he said, a cold tone to his voice. Both of his fists began to glow, surging with electricity once more.

 

"Fire!" Sora launched the bursts of flames in diffrent directions and heights around Grogory. Valerie nodded, tossing her daggers like boomerangs at Gregory. "Jeffrey! Try to hit him with earth if he dodges the fire balls!"Sora said.

 

Eden could almost feel every ebb and flow, stoke and pull of the muscles... It was getting painful. How much longer would her tired body last? She took a moment to review her conditions, only realizing the inevitable question. "Riku. Riku, you better answer. When did we last eat a proper meal?"

 

"How the hell am I supposed to know? A week or so I guess?"Riku huffed. He was starving, and no elixir could fill hunger.

 

"We're pretty much killing ourselves slowly without food and water. We need to have nourishment... but under the circumstances, I believe it will not happen so soon..." Eden winced, she needed to draw strength from a new place, something that could save themselves... "But what...?" she mumbled, unsure.

 

"Good thing Sora and the others are probably still near the gummi ship. We can get some food there..."Riku huffed, using that as his determination.
