Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

BIC: Jeffrey shrugged and sat down. I have no idea where she gets this stuff from...

 

OOC:Fine then....>->
BIC: "Alright then...."Sora yelped as Chester bit his finger. "He bit me!"he gasped. Chester fell to the floor, growling when he didn't want to be carried anymore. "No! Bad Chester! No attacking people!"Valerie said, gently kicking the heartless to scold it. "Okay then... Maaaybe raising a heartless isn't such a good idea..."Sora frowned. "What?!"Valerie was shocked.

"Well... it is a heartless. They're kinda... dangerous for household pets."Sora said. "But it's a baby..."Valerie said. "It is not a baby. Its just a heartless that was made from a young heart or a heartless that was newly created. They still hold a threat. Sure he just bit me but when he gets 'older' he'll sense that I have something that can gather hearts and go after me."Sora explained. "No he won't! Not if we raise him the right way."Valerie said. "Heartless aren't pets! We can't just force the instincts out of him!"Sora said.

"Oh, so you're saying that he'll always be a monster!" "I didn't say that..." "You're saying that a heartless can't be redeemed or taught right from wrong!" "I didn't say that, either." "You were thinking it! 'Heartless are all the same! Feral beasts that will never be tame and that will always go for blood to seek the light! They can never have a concionce and they're just mindless puppets for people with the most dark power!' Well, Kairi didn't think that when you turned into a heartless!"Valerie snapped.

"Because she knew the Heartless was me!"Sora protested. "And what if she didn't?! She STILL would've trusted you! Chester is the same way! We can raise him, convince him to not go after people! He could fight other heartless, he could be an ally!"Valerie protested. "We can't keep him and you know it! The others would agree with me!"Sora snapped. "You didn't give up on Riku when he turned to the darkness. So you're just going to give up on Chester because he was born in the darkness?!"

Sora winced at the memory, but stood firm on his decision. "When we land we are leaving him with his own kind. If he turns on us then you know what we have to do."He said. Valerie couldn't believe what she was hearing. "I can't believe this... I thought YOU of all people would agree with me. You're as heartless as he is!"Valerie said, pointing to Chester. "I'm the oldest so you have to listen to me! We are getting rid of him! "You're not that much older than me, I'm almost you're age! You can't tell me what to do!"

"Yes I can and YOU are going to listen to me!"Sora yelled. Valerie was stunned by the yell, frowning. "FINE! But don't expect me to go with you guys when you leave Earth!"she stomped into the resting area. Sora shook his head, dissapointed.

 

Gregory rose into the air with his wings. He knew that, if he had enough determination, he could fly for a long time. Travelling fast enough that he was pretty much a blur, he took off after the gummi ship, closing the distance rapidly.

 

Jeffrey sighed and got up. "I'll go talk to her, and then we'll make a deal." He followed Valerie into the resting area. "We'll have to make some sort of compromise with him, you know. We can try to, er, train him. If it doesn't work we should let him go." He tried to make it sound reasonable.

 

"You don't want Chester around either, do you? be honest with me..."Valerie plopped down onto a bed, her head into a pillow. Sora groaned at the girl's stubborness. Suddenly an alarm went off that something was approaching the gummi ship. "Not now..."

 

OOC: Just realized i have no idea if there IS any way to break into the gummi ship
IC: Gregory caught up to the gummi ship and clung to it as he thought of a way to get inside.

 

OOC: Tooo bad, sooo sad.:p
BIC:
"Intruder alert! Intruder alert! Warning Warning!"Alarms blared off in the gummi ship, a siren going off. "what is that noise?!"Valerie covered her ears with the pillow. "Someones trying to get into the gummi ship!"Sora yelled over the noise.

 

The siren blared before Jeffrey could reply to Valerie. He quickly put his hands over his ears. "Please tell me there's some sort of force field the ship can use!"

 

"We could always try to shake him off...."Sora trailed off. "But?"Valerie tried to yell over the sirens. "It could be very dangerous if we don't buckle up...and then even for me it'd be dangerous!"Sora yelled. "Do it!"Valerie yelled back, the sirens still blaring.

 

It had taken a good long time for Eden to even travel a mile with her tiny group through the sludge. It was shoulder deep and almost choking her, but she had the decency to at least try to swim through the darkness. She could only imagine how long it would take to get into the Keyhole.

 

"It feels like we've been going forever... We're probably not even close with all this ick..."Riku frowned.
-meanwhile-
Sora went to the controls, buckling in. The gummi ship went into a series of rolls to try and shake the intruder off. "Whooooa!"Valerie was quickly getting dizzy by the spins. Chester was being bumped around this way and that way.

 

OOC: Remember my promise ;)
Gregory growled. "Not going to get rid of me that easily!" he shouted. He took a deep breath and, using much of his strength, punched right through the glass dome on top of the gummi ship. The pain was excruciating, and there were cuts everywhere on his left hand, but he had successfully broken in. He gripped the edges of the dome as he spun around and around with the gummi ship.

 

OOC:Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa! Remember my warning though!._.;
BIC: Sora immediately felt the wind rushing through the broken dome, covering his eyes. "gah!"The Gummi ship spiraled out of control, crashlanding right as it reached their destination. "Whoaaa....lets do that again...."Valerie was alittle out of it from dizziness. Chester gave Gregory a small growl, but stayed hidden.

 

Jeffrey could still feel his head spinning. "What happened?" he asked.

Kairi waded through the Darkness sludge with Eden and Gexln. "It just gets worse as we got closer, doesn't it?"

 

OOC: Don't recall a warning at all honestly XD
IC: Gregory got back on his feet quickly. He was a little dizzy and his hand hurt a lot, but other than that he felt fine. He heard a low, growling noise. "Wonder what that is..." he said quietly.

"Worse? How is this worse? We're getting closer to our goal. Sure, it's a little sludgy, but so long as we're accomplishing something i see nothing to complain about" Gexln said.

 

"You! What do you want?!"Sora got out of the captains chair, summoning Oblivion. Valerie quickly took out her daggers.

 

"That weapon...such power...i must have it" Gregory said simply, eyes searching for an animal that may make the growling noise.

 

"Why can't you get it into that thick head that the keyblade would never let someone like you weild it!"Sora snapped. Valerie gave a small growl, ready to attack and defend Sora.

 

Jeffrey drew his katana. He stood a bit in front of Sora, making sure that the baby would be safe.

"It used to be knee-deep, and now it's almost up to our faces," Kairi replied. "That counts as worse in my book."

 

Gregory laughed. "It's a weapon, weapon's don't have choices. But what would a fool like you know? You aren't fit to wield such a mighty weapon!" Gregory insulted.
