Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

"I do understand what you mean. To have one's own freedom is riveting..." The Darkness crooned, but frowned. "But at a price. She gave up her freedom of having her own body to house you."

 

"I know that, I did the same for her...."Riku huffed. He was not the most social person, wanting to be left alone. The only person who ever really got Riku to be social was Sora.

 

The Darkness bowed her head deeply before sinking in beneath the stained glass of the heart. "I know, but please. You are her only role-model in these ill times, at least make sure she doesn't do as you had done."

 

"Like I would let someone make the same mistakes that I did?!"Riku asked. "I would never want that life for anyone else!"he snapped. To live a life trapped in the darkness... a life alone for what felt like years... Riku didn't want that to happen to anyone else...

 

Kairi tried to bite back a reply to Gexln's comments about her. Girly doesn't mean weak.

Jeffrey sighed and shrugged. "Let's just keep going if they're not going to come out. But we should stay alert."

 

"Okee dokee Loki."Valerie saluted, going in the lead. Sora gave a small chuckle, keeping alert as he followed Valerie.

 

"This is taking forever," Jeffrey commented as they walked on. "Maybe we should just look for Riku's bag instead. Then we can teleport to the ship, right?"

 

"That'll work!"Valerie said. "Can you guys remember where you were ambusged?"Sora asked. "Uh..in a..."Valerie looked around. "That way direction."she said, pointing. "We're doomed..."Sora muttered, going in the direction. As he passed through the vegetaion he heard tiny growls. Valerie went ahead first to the clearing to see Rikus bag on the ground.

A group of 5 Shadows were trying to see what was in the bag, the tiniest heartless gnawing on the bags straps. "Hey! Shoo!"Valerie cheeks sparked. Sora summoned Oblivion. Four of the Shadows saw the keyblade fled.The tiniest one wasn't paying attention, still gnawing on the straps.

 

"Well, it's kinda cute," Jeffrey said, picking the small Shadow up and setting on the ground. He took a peek into the bag. "Now where's the spell book?"

 

Valerie picked up the bag. "Whoa, heavy."she was a bit suprised at how heavy it was, giving it to Sora. Sora opened the bag, immediately being suprised. "How many Elixirs did you get?!"he saw all the elixirs. "What part of 'Elixir High' don't you get?"Valerie asked. Sora shook his head, taking out the spell book.

The baby heartless looked up at the trio, tugging on its antannae. "Aaawww..."Valerie picked up the tiny Heartless. "ah, here it is!"Sora got to the page with the teleportation spell. "My... Mysta... Myste.... Rumma... Rhunny...."Valerie tried to read the spell herself. "Mystith Rhunethic Lenane..."Sora corrected. "What is that, latin?"Valerie tilted her head.

 

"None that I've ever seen," Jeffrey replied. After all, he did take Latin in school before this whole Heartless incident happened. "Anyway, you can keep going with the incantation."

 

"You only have to say it Twice."Sora said. "Mystith Rhunethic Lenane, Curasten Blartha Nurona. Mystith Rhunethic Lenane, Curasten Blartha Nurona!"Suddnly the group was surrounding by a blue bubble of magic. A bright light engulfed the group. When it cleared they were safe and sound inside the gummi ship. "Woo-hoo! That was cool!"Valerie dropped the baby heartless when she lifted her arms into the air. The baby Shadow whimpered when it hit the floor. It started to cry in a mix of strange sounds.

 

"That was fun! We should do it more often," Jeffrey said. He walked past the Shadow without noticing it. "So are we heading to Australia now?"

 

"Yep. I'll set the coordinates...."Sora went over to the gummi ships computer. He set the coordinates for Australia and put the ship on auto pilot. "Go to sleeeeep~ You said you were tired."Valerie said. Sora nodded, going to the resting area. Valerie looked down to the crying Heartless. "so what are we doing about this guy?"she picked up the tiny creature.

 

"So we've got a little stowaway, huh?" Jeffrey asked, looking at the baby Shadow. "I guess we'll keep him for now. He doesn't look like he'll hurt us."

 

OOC: Why do we have baby heartless and friendly heartless now?
IC: Gexln stared out at the horizon. "To think this place was once beautiful and free from the darkness.." he said quietly, thinking out loud.

 

OOC: Because not all heartless are created from grown-ups and not all Heartless are evil.>3<
BIC:
"Kyuuun~"The little baby Shadow looked at the duo with its big yellow eyes. "Not to mention it's really adorable..."Valerie smiled. "Let me see him..."Sora seemed to come from nowhere, picking up the Heartless. "Kyuuun~Kyuun!"The Shadow seemed to enjoy the affection. Sora couldn't help but chuckle. "Okay, he can stay...but what are we gonna name him?"he asked. "Chester! Thats what alot of people call a Shadow."Valerie said.

 

OOC: Heartless are heartless, they don't HAVE an age. All the shadows are the same size. Evil thing, yeah some are good like the mushroom things, but the shadows are drawn TO the keyblade, they're after the keyblade wielder's heart.

IC: Gregory sighed. He had taken too long, and they had gotten away. He placed a hand on his right wing. "I can move pretty fast..faster than i've seen anyone else move..i bet i could catch that ship and bring it down.." he said thoughtfully.

 

OOC:We are KEEPING Chester.B(

 

OOC: But it makes no sense whatsoever! It should at the very least be showing SOME aggression, SOME desire to destroy Sora!
