Kingdom Hearts: SfE Part 2 - The Final Keyhole and the Mark of Mastery

"Its like a real life Video game! Too bad you don't get continues or extra lives if you die."Valerie said nervously. "ouch. You don't have to put it like that."Sora shuddered at the thought.

 

Eden shook her head. "They don't get it..." she mentally sighed. Didn't they realize that, yes, while they were ripped from their families, thrown into the fire, they may never come out of this mess? Especially her. Keyblades attracted Heartless, and she could risk the lives of her family for the sake of staying home. "Come on... Let's go. Go save the world and never return."

 

"ouch. We're gonna be coming back...After saving the Universe! With Two OFFICIAL keyblade masters!"Valerie laughed. Sora flinched at the 'official' word, a nervous expression on his face.

 

Eden flinched. "The Mark of Mastery... Oh lord." She looked at Sora, internally panicking. "The Four of us. We're just wielders." "Riku, this is bad. I know the test, but still. But then... Oh we still have so much to do."

 

"You and Kairi aren't as experienced with the keyblade yet. You only get the Mark of Mastery Exam when you have enough experience...at least thats how the king explained it."Riku sighed. "besides, Sora and I never got to star our exam anyway..."he added.

 

"What experience? Two years? Honestly, Riku, you two weren't properly even trained! At least I can fight better then Kairi!" Eden growled a bit, finding herself a lot more skilled to fight, though strength wasn't a strong point.

 

"Look. I know nothing about the Mark of Mastery exam but what the King told me. We shouldn't be arguing about this!"Riku snapped. "We'll figure if you and Kairi have to take the Mark of Mastery exam or not when we get to Yen Sid, Okay?! Now shut the hell up!"He was not in a good mood now... "Oh forget this. Isn't there some kind of teleportation spell?"Valerie asked. "The spellbook is in Rikus bag."Sora said. "Gosh darnit! Riku hogs everything!"

 

"Teleportation? Why? Where do you need to go?" Gexln asked curiously.

 

"Well we can't do anything about it so we'll have to go back on foot!" Eden yelled, Riku's shift in mood, and her mood in general, not good. "The more whining, the less gets done." she growled.

 

Valerie and Sora both squeaked at the yelling, Sora putting his hands over his stomach. "I just wanted to get to the gummi ship faster..."Valerie muttered. Sora was silent, knowing when he had to behave and when to have fun.

 

Gexln cleared his throat and repeated himself, much more loudly. "Where do you need to go?"

 

"To the gummi ship... But apparently that's too 'high-class' for everyones needs."Valerie huffed. Sora said nothing, wanting to stay out of any argument.

 

Gexln rolled his eyes. "I meant the overall goal, not the immediate one right now. Where, once you've gotten to the gummi ship, would you have to GET to?" he asked, fast becoming impatient.

 

"Australia, apparently. We need to fill the keyhole there with light and then seal it..."Sora said. "Preetty much."Valerie said.

 

"Ah, Australia...well i think i can help there" Gexln said. He held out a palm and a dark corridor opened. In Australia, the other end of the corridor opened up. "Shall we?" he asked.

 

"Couldn't you just get us to the gummi ship. Sleep, we need it..."Valerie said. Sora gave a long yawn as if to prove her point. "I really need it..."he groaned.

 

"Sleep? While we sleep, darkness gets stronger. More heartless appear every minute, more people die. We can't AFFORD to sleep, not until the only dark thing that's alive in this world is me" Gexln said.

 

Eden nodded, stepping next to the portal. "I am most certainly going. I have some people I respect there, and I don't want the heartless returning. If anything, you two can just keep walking to the city, get to the Gummi on your own." Her eyes were cold, though her cause was bold.

 

"Fiiine...."Valerie groaned. Sora shook his head. "I think I'm just going to go to the gummi ship..."he said, giving a long yawn. "WHAT?!"Valerie asked. "Yeesh, stop panicking... You'll still have Kairi and Eden and tecnicly Riku to seal the keyhole..."Sora said, trying not to yawn. "But Soooraaaa!"Valerie frowned.

 

"The brave, courageous keyblade wielder that's saved the worlds multiple times is backing down? I guess he's not as brave or tough as i've heard. Well, whatever, if you want to be a coward go ahead, i'll just finish this thing by myself" Gexln said harshly.
